What Is Hamas Hiding in Rafah, and Why Doesn’t Biden Want the IDF to Find It?

In the lead up to the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) operation to destroy Hamas and secure the release of over 100 hostages – including 8 Americas – believed to be in and around Rafah, leaders around the world from Joe Biden to the collective leftist leaders of the European Union to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi panicked and ordered Israel to forestall its necessary means to end the war.

Why did world leaders clamor for Israel to do nothing?

What are they hiding?

. . .

Over one million Gazans were said to be sheltering in humanitarian safe areas in Rafah, and Hamas used them as human shields to ensure that Israel would not invade. An Israeli operation would force the vaunted international community to warn Israel against such action to protect civilians. Indeed, Hamas’s strategy of sacrificing civilians has led Norway, Spain, and Ireland to decide that terrorism should be rewarded with recognition of a Palestinian state. This is the moral equivalent of offering a restored Reich to Adolph Hitler.

Israel, undaunted by the virtue signaling of the international community and determined to defeat Hamas and rescue hostages, entered Rafah. Prior to the IDF entry, it flooded Rafah with instructions: sending Gazan civilians phone calls, text messages, and millions of dropped leaflets urging them to leave the area in advance of an Israeli incursion. They literally warned the enemy that they were coming and urged civilians to flee. Nearly one million Gazans fled to humanitarian zones in Rafah. Fetterman Defends Israel, Condemns Hamas for Hiding Behind Civilians (VIDEO)

In an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) addressed the recent deaths of civilians in an Israeli airstrike on a tent camp in Rafah. Fetterman described the casualties as “awful” and “heartbreaking,” but emphasized the role of Hamas in exacerbating the situation.

Fetterman stated, “The deaths of civilians in the strike were awful and a heartbreaking tragedy. However, there is a truth about this war, and that’s what Hamas does — Hamas, those cowards hide behind civilians. It’s becoming more evident that there was a dump of munitions there that exploded, causing additional damage. That’s where Hamas is hiding them.”

He further explained the complexity of the conflict, noting, “If Hamas truly wanted peace, they could have accepted the ceasefire deal offered a couple of weeks ago or surrendered if they were genuinely concerned about civilian casualties. Instead, they persist in their efforts, showing no connection with the suffering of Palestinians. They don’t seem to care how many die or anything.”

Fetterman also remarked on Israel’s efforts to minimize civilian casualties, acknowledging the challenges faced by the Israeli military. “I believe Israel does try to minimize that, but it’s a very difficult war when they have to wage a war with Hamas hiding behind civilians.”

U.S. Service Member Critically Injured on Gaza Aid Pier

Three US service members were injured, one critically, while working on the Army’s Gaza aid pier on Thursday.

The troops had been working to deliver humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip on the temporary floating pier that the US completed last week, US Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, deputy commander of US Central Command told Reuters. . .

Two service members suffered a sprained ankle and a minor back injury.

A third service member, who was injured on a ship at sea, was medically evacuated to a hospital in Israel, he said.

A U.S. defense official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Reuters the individual was in critical condition. (Read more from “U.S. Service Member Critically Injured on Gaza Aid Pier” HERE)

Dutch Government Announces Plan to Move Embassy to Jerusalem

In a surprise move early Thursday, an advance draft of a coalition agreement between four right-wing Dutch political factions announced their plan to move the Dutch embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – at “an appropriate time.” If and when this occurs, the Netherlands would be the most significant country to move its embassy to Jerusalem since the United States did so under former President Donald Trump in 2018.

Geert Wilders is the leader of the pro-Israel, anti-immigration Party for Freedom, or PVV, which won 37 out of 150 seats in the Dutch lower house in that nation’s Nov. 22 election. Wilders is often compared to Hungary’s Viktor Orban because of similar stances on a range of issues, including Islam and opposition to the European Union – preferring to elevate national policies over supranational ones that usurp domestic authority.

In addition to the United States, Papua New Guinea, Kosovo, Honduras and Guatemala have already moved their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. If the Dutch coalition holds and the nation’s embassy is moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the decision would be a controversial one. Officially, the EU – under the terms of the “Jerusalem Clause” – has refused to locate diplomatic missions in Jerusalem, Israel’s official capital, until its final status with regard to the Palestinians has been decided.

Wilders was alleged to have toned down his anti-Islam and anti-immigration rhetoric to help secure victory in November’s election. However, the Israel-Hamas war has roiled Dutch society, and the announcement was made with the backdrop of widespread violence carried out by anti-Israel, pro-Hamas protesters on the University of Amsterdam campus and beyond. Many see the virulence of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish feeling among largely migrant communities as evidence of both failed immigration policies and hard-left indoctrination among the Netherlands’ youth – just as in America. Obama World’s Fingerprints Are All Over Campus Chaos

A who’s-who of Obama administration alumni are seemingly behind a concerted push to drive a wedge between President Joe Biden and Israel.

For weeks, stories of chaos across the nation’s college campuses dominated the media. Anti-Israel protestors set up encampments, ignored charges of trespassing and ripped down the American flag to replace it with the Palestinian flag, all to protest the United States’ pro-Israel stance in the country’s war against Hamas. Recent reporting by Tablet Magazine, as well as public statements from former White House officials, reveal that members of the Obama administration are stoking the flames of anti-Israel sentiment in the Democratic Party, exacerbating a headache for Biden.

During the chaos, Biden avoided the press for nine days before publicly stating that the protests were not influencing his policy. But the damage was done, and some began to question the president’s commitment to Israel.

“I think by forcing Biden to this dilemma, the outside folks are in practice hurting him,” a former Trump administration official, granted anonymity in order to speak freely about the matter, told the Daily Caller. “They probably don’t view it that way. They probably view themselves as being trying to be advocates for certain anti-Israel policies. But the net effect of it is, yes, they are undermining Biden by sort of railing against him on this wedge issue.”

Tablet identified several organizations, like Students for Justice in Palestine, that have had their hand in backing the students and individuals protesting. The magazine named financial backers like the WESPAC Foundation and Rockefeller Brothers Fund among the groups that are funding the activist organizations on the ground. The WESPAC Foundation and Within Our Lifetime (WOL), an anti-Israel group, have received significant donations from the Tides Foundation, a major progressive dark money group. Major Report Uncovers CCP-Linked Influence Behind Left-Wing Anti-Israel Protests in U.S.

A report reveals that key radical left-wing organizations central in the current anti-Israel and anti-America protest movement are significantly funded and influenced by a network tied to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which seeks to advance a “revolutionary, anti-government, anti-capitalist agenda,” threatening U.S. internal stability.

A major report from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), published Monday, details how the Shut It Down for Palestine (SID4P) movement, which has connections to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) through the Singham Network, uses protests and media campaigns to push anti-America and anti-Israel narratives and significantly contribute to social unrest.

Prominent groups within the SID4P coalition — which emerged in late 2023 — including the Answer Coalition, The People’s Forum, and the International Peoples’ Assembly, are linked through financial, personal, and ideological ties to CCP associates Neville Roy Singham and his wife, Jodie Evans, the report notes.

Singham, a former consultant for Huawei, has been involved in CCP operations and has been investigated by the U.S., Canada, and India. He is known for funneling hundreds of millions of dollars into pro-China progressive advocacy through his network. His wife, Evans, a co-founder of the radical left-wing, anti-war organization CODEPINK and board member of The People’s Forum, has been actively involved in anti-America and anti-Israel protests, it reveals.

Stunning New Footage Again Indicts the UN’s Partnership With Hamas

The Israeli Defense Forces released new footage Tuesday afternoon showing a number of Hamas terrorists launching attacks from an United Nations Works and Relief Agency warehouse and using official UN vehicles for transport inside the Gaza Strip.

“On Saturday in eastern Rafah, the IDF identified terrorists openly operating at UNRWA’s central logistics compound and next to UN vehicles. The terrorists also opened fire at civilians just outside the compound,” Israel War Room posted on X. “Israel shared the information with senior officials in the international community and called on the UN to investigate.”

This UNWRA compound is in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, a place the Biden administration and Democrats have been adamant IDF soldiers should not be operating to take out Hamas and other terrorist groups.

In the aftermath of October 7, when 1400 civilians were slaughtered and hundreds were taken hostage into the Gaza Strip, it was revealed thousands of Gazans working for UNWRA have ties to terrorist groups. At least a dozen UNWRA employees directly participated in the massacres. (Read more from “Stunning New Footage Again Indicts the UN’s Partnership With Hamas” HERE)

Bring Them Home: The 5 Americans Still Held Hostage by Hamas

There are still five American hostages being held by Hamas. And though our leaders seem to have forgotten them, the American people have not.

Hamas murdered 1,200 people in Israel in the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack, and took more than 250 hostages. While some hostages have been freed, there are still roughly 130 hostages still being held by Hamas – not all of whom are still alive. Five of them are U.S. citizens.

The five American hostages who are still in Hamas’ captivity are; Keith Siegel, 65, Sagui Dekel-Chen, 35, Omer Neutra, 22, Edan Alexander, 20, and Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23. (Read more from “Bring Them Home: The 5 Americans Still Held Hostage by Hamas” HERE)

Army Officer Resigns Over Continued U.S. Support for Israel

An Army officer assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency has resigned in protest over the United States’s continued military support for Israel.

Maj. Harrison Mann said he resigned from the DIA over the “nearly unqualified [U.S.] support” for Israel, “which has enabled and empowered the killing and starvation of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians [in Gaza].”

“The past months have presented us with the most horrific and heartbreaking images imaginable — sometimes playing on the news in our own space — and I have been unable to ignore the connection between those images and my duties here,” he said in a slightly edited version of his resignation letter, which he posted on LinkedIn. “This caused me incredible shame and guilt.”

Mann referenced his European Jewish ancestry, noting he was “haunted” by what he believed was his failure to live up to the “unforgiving moral environment when it came to the topic of bearing responsibility for ethnic cleansing.”

A DIA official confirmed to the Washington Examiner that Mann was previously assigned to the agency and noted that “employees resign their positions for any number of reasons and motivations.” (Read more from “Army Officer Resigns Over Continued U.S. Support for Israel” HERE)

State Dept. Report on Israel’s Use of U.S. Weapons Gives Ammo to Both Sides

A State Department report on Israel’s use of U.S. weapons tried to please both pro- and anti-Israel voices, creating a slew of contradictory headlines.

“Biden administration says Israel is not violating U.S. weapons terms,” reported NBC. “US says Israel’s use of US arms likely violated international law, but evidence is incomplete,” said the AP. “Biden administration acknowledges possible Israeli weapons misuse in report to Congress,” reported USA Today.

Few linked to the actual document, so that readers could look through it and judge for themselves.

The reason for the confusion is clear: although the State Department did not find any actual evidence that Israel had used American weapons in ways that violate international humanitarian law or international human rights law, it also claimed that it was “reasonable” to assume that Israel had done so, given “given Israel’s significant reliance on U.S.-made” weapons.
