Iranian Foreign Minister Arrives in New York, Praises Hamas as Legitimate ‘Resistance Group’

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian arrived in New York on Thursday to attend a session of the U.N. General Assembly.

Amirabdollahian praised the terrorists of Hamas as a lawful and legitimate “resistance group” to reporters and delivered a belligerent speech to the U.N., threatening dire consequences for the United States and Israel if the Israelis continue their assault on Hamas in Gaza.

Before leaving for New York, Amirabdollahian saluted the Hamas terrorists and proclaimed, “Resistance in the region is a reality.”

Amirabdollahian accused Israel of “retreating from the battlefield and targeting civilians,” as if Hamas had challenged the Israelis to a joust rather than launching a horrific surprise attack against innocent women and children.

“The continued killing of civilians by the Zionists narrows the space for the forces of resistance in Palestine and the region,” he complained. (Read more from “Iranian Foreign Minister Arrives in New York, Praises Hamas as Legitimate ‘Resistance Group’” HERE)

U.N. Security Council Silent as China, Russia Tank Statement Condemning Hamas

Another attempt by the United Nations Security Council to address the October 7 Hamas massacre of over 1,400 people in Israel failed on Wednesday as permanent members China and Russia vetoed an American-drafted resolution, supported by most Council members, that would have condemned the jihadist terrorist group.

The American draft resolution’s failure preceded a vote on a draft resolution by Russia – the second introduced by the Hamas-friendly government of Russian strongman Vladimir Putin – calling for a “ceasefire” preventing Israel from taking measures to protect its citizens from another Hamas slaughter. That resolution failed decisively, garnering only four votes.

The Security Council has not addressed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian terrorist groups since 2016 and has done nothing to act in the face of the Hamas mass murder nearly 20 days ago, remaining in a state that Brazil’s representative to the body lamented as “paralysis” following the first few failed votes on prospective resolutions. Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on that day for a terrorist onslaught it named the “al-Aqsa flood,” in which terrorists went door-to-door killing, raping, torturing, and abducting entire families.

Hamas terrorists opened fire on concert-goers at a music festival, decapitated babies and burned them alive, and took over 200 hostages, most of which remain in Gaza. (Read more from “U.N. Security Council Silent as China, Russia Tank Statement Condemning Hamas” HERE)

Israeli Military Conducts Raid in Gaza for Second Night in a Row

The IDF sent a ‘limited’ number of troops and tanks into the Gaza Strip for a second raid on Friday.

“Infantry, armored and engineering forces under the command of Gesh (36) and accompanied by IDF helicopters and helicopter gunships raided in the last day in the center of the Gaza Strip,” the branch wrote on X.

“As part of the operation, the forces attacked dozens of terrorist targets, including positions for launching anti-tank missiles and operational headquarters, as well as terrorists of the terrorist organization Hamas.”

IDF aircraft and artillery attacked Hamas targets “in Sajaia neighborhood and throughout the strip” in conjunction with the ground entry.

There were no Israeli casualties during the raid, the branch shared. (Read more from “Israeli Military Conducts Raid in Gaza for Second Night in a Row” HERE)

Israel Agrees to Delay Gaza Offensive to Allow U.S. Missile Defense Placement

Israel has agreed to delay its invasion of Gaza until the United States can position missile defenses to protect against a predicted uptick in Iran-backed terror attacks on American troops in the region.

The air defense systems could be in place by the latter part of this week, defense officials say. The Israeli delay was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The outlet also reported that the Jewish state is weighing factors such as deliveries of humanitarian aid to the southern part of the Gaza Strip as well as efforts to secure the release of approximately 200 hostages held by Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not confirm the reasons for holding off on the long-expected attack in an address to the nation Wednesday, but did say that his country’s military is “preparing for a ground entry.”

“I will not elaborate on when, how or how many,” Netanyahu said. “I will also not elaborate on the various calculations we are making, which the public is mostly unaware of and that is how things should be.” (Read more from “Israel Agrees to Delay Gaza Offensive to Allow U.S. Missile Defense Placement” HERE)

IDF Releases Raw Interrogation Footage of Multiple Hamas Terrorists Who Killed Israelis (VIDEO)

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released raw footage of alleged Palestinian Islamic terrorists that they interrogated in recent days following their unprecedented attacks on the country earlier this month.

The footage shows the faces, full names, and rank of several of the captured terrorists. All of the terrorists were in handcuffs, one was wearing a shirt that was covered in blood.

The terrorists described the tasks that they were ordered to carry out, which included taking over military posts near the Gaza-Israel border, massacring civilians in kibbutzs, and kidnapping the civilians they could control.

Those who were able to kidnap civilians got financial rewards, including apartments and $10,000.

“The goal of our infiltration for them was to capture and kidnap as many as possible,” one terrorist said.

Israel War: Biden Has ‘No Confidence’ in Gaza Death Numbers

President Joe Biden said he has “no confidence” that the death toll provided by Palestinian authorities is accurate.

The Palestinian Health Ministry, which is overseen by Hamas, claims that 6,546 Gazans have been killed since Oct. 7, with 17,439 wounded. They also claim that another 100 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed over the same period, with 1,650 wounded. However, Biden cast doubt on the veracity of those figures on Wednesday when presented with the figures by PBS correspondent Laura Barrón-López.

“In the 18 days since Hamas killed 1,400 Israelis, the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry says Israeli forces have killed over 6,000 Palestinians, including 2,700 children,” Barrón-López said. “You’ve previously asked Netanyahu to minimize civilian casualties. Do these numbers say to you that he’s ignoring that message?”

“What they say to me is I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed,” Biden responded.

“I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s the price of waging a war,” he continued. (Read more from “Israel War: Biden Has ‘No Confidence’ in Gaza Death Numbers” HERE)

WATCH: Hamas Co-Founder’s Son: Israel Must Destroy Hamas; U.S. Should Back Israel; Stop Sending Aid to Gaza

Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the founders of Hamas, said during an interview on Monday that Israel must go into Gaza and destroy the terrorist group.

While part of Hamas, Yousef, 45, became one of Israel’s top informants to prevent terrorist attacks. He worked for Israel’s Shin Bet security services for a decade from 1997 through 2007 and now lives in an undisclosed location in the United States.

During an interview with CNN anchor Jake Tapper, Yousef was asked if he thought it was a good idea for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to go into Gaza to root out Hamas after the Palestinian Islamic terrorist group murdered more than 1,400 people in Israel.

“Now it’s a wartime, unfortunately,” he said. “And this war, Israel did not start. Hamas started this war. And Hamas, in fact, in this equation, blood for money, they start a war every few years whenever they want money. You know, they shed children’s blood. This is their game. And this has to stop. This has to come to an end.” (Read more from “Hamas Co-Founder’s Son: Israel Must Destroy Hamas; U.S. Should Back Israel; Stop Sending Aid to Gaza” HERE)

Two More Hostages Released From Gaza; Terror Expert Explains Why

Two more hostages who were kidnapped by Palestinian Islamic terrorists two weeks ago have been released by their captors.

The families of Nurit Cooper, 79, and Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, were notified that both women were released by Hamas. Their husbands are still being held hostage.

They have reportedly been handed over to the Red Cross.

Joe Truzman, a research analyst for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) focused on Palestinian armed groups, said that Hamas’ claims that it released the hostages for humanitarian reasons were bogus.

“It’s simply a tactic to create international pressure on Israel to delay a ground incursion into Gaza,” he said.

Israel Levels Secret Hamas Terrorist Cell Hidden in an Unexpected Location

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an airstrike Sunday on a compound beneath the al-Ansar Mosque in the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank after receiving intel that indicated “terrorists…were organizing an imminent terror attack,” the military said in a statement. While most of Israel’s offensive against Hamas has been targeted at Gaza, which is fully under Hamas control, this is the second Israeli air strike on a West Bank target in recent days.

Israeli authorities said the facility was being used by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad to plan further attacks against Israel after its initial assault on October 7. This situation further highlights how Hamas is all too willing to place Palestinian civilians in danger as it fights against Israel.

Israeli aircraft struck a compound beneath a mosque in the West Bank early on Sunday that the military said was being used by militants to organise attacks, and Palestinian medics said at least one person was killed.

The Israeli air strike is at least the second in recent days to hit the West Bank, where violence has surged since Hamas gunmen from Gaza carried out a deadly Oct. 7 rampage in Israel.

Israel said the compound beneath al-Ansar Mosque, in Jenin refugee camp, belonged to operatives from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad who were responsible for attacks in recent months.

Poll Finds Americans Overwhelmingly Support Israel’s War on Hamas, but Younger Americans Defend Hamas

A poll of Americans found that an overwhelming number support Israel’s war on Hamas terrorists, but a majority of younger Americans were sympathetic to the plight of Palestinians.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll found that 84% of respondents sided with Israel while only 16% sided with the Hamas militants.

Among older Americans aged 65 years and older, 95% said they supported Israel while only 5% said they supported Hamas.

A slight majority of 51% of Americans aged 18 to 24 years said that the terror attack by Hamas on Israel could be justified by the grievances of Palestinians. 49% of those the same ages disagreed that the attack could be justified.

“There is strong support for Israel across all parties and against Hamas. They think Israel should not cease hostilities until they have weakened Hamas,” said Mark Penn, a co-director of the poll.
