Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Charged With Murdering Wife

William Stevenson, the ex-husband of former first lady Jill Biden, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with murdering his wife, Linda.

Stevenson was facing a first-degree murder charge in Delaware several weeks after his wife was discovered unresponsive in her living room while police responded to a domestic dispute call on Dec. 28, according to NBC News. The charges came following an “extensive weeks-long investigation” into Linda’s death, authorities said.

Police with the New Castle County Police Department said they attempted to perform life-saving measures on Linda after finding her unconscious upon arrival, according to NBC News. She was soon pronounced dead and her body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy.

Stevenson is being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay a $500,000 bond, NBC News reported.

Wife of Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Found Dead Inside Delaware Home After a Domestic Dispute Call

The 64-year-old woman married to Jill Biden’s ex-husband was found dead in her Delaware home after law enforcement responded to investigate a domestic dispute late Sunday, authorities said.

Linda Stevenson was found unresponsive on the living room floor of the Oak Hill home she shared with her husband Bill — married to the former first lady between 1970 and 1975 — around 11:15 p.m. when officers responded to a reported family clash, according to the New Castle County Police Department.

Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene despite authorities’ attempts to revive her.

“It’s still a murder investigation,” Stevenson’s grief-stricken daughter, Christina Vettori, told the Daily Mail Tuesday afternoon, before adding, “I would not like to talk at this time.”

Police, who denied claims of a murder probe, are reportedly treating the case as a “death investigation.”

Jill Biden’s ‘Work Husband’ Pleads The Fifth In Biden White House Cover-Up Probe

The plot thickens in the Biden senility/autopen scandal.

A top aide subpoenaed to testify on Wednesday in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s investigations into the alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline took the Fifth, just as Biden’s personal White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, did the week before.

Anthony Bernal, former assistant to Biden and senior adviser to first lady Jill Biden — aka Jill Biden’s “work husband” — reportedly dodged question after question from committee staff during the closed-door session, invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

In a statement following the fruitless sworn and transcribed interview, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., referenced this week’s New York Times story in which the former president said he “made every decision” on a record number of pardons and commutations — most coming at the end of his term. Emails obtained by The Times, however, show one of Biden’s closest advisers approved the use of the autopen on midnight pardons.

Jill Biden’s Senior Adviser Refuses to Testify in House Oversight Investigation Into Biden Decline

Anthony Bernal, senior adviser to Jill Biden, has refused to testify in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

Bernal is refusing to appear for a June 26 interview as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Biden’s mental decline and potential misuse of the autopen, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced Wednesday.

Comer sharply criticized Bernal on Wednesday for refusing to appear before the committee, accusing him of avoiding accountability now that executive privilege has been waived.

“Now that the White House has waived executive privilege, it’s abundantly clear that Anthony Bernal – Jill Biden’s so-called ‘work husband’ – never intended to be transparent about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the ensuing cover-up,” Comer said.

“With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth. The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction. This week, as Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s devastating book “Original Sin” detailing the Dems’ elaborate cover-up of the 46th president’s infirmity as he ran — or, ahem, as he was run — for a second shot at the White House, Biden dropped a bombshell prostate cancer diagnosis.

The timing was undoubtedly meant to shift sympathy to the family and soften the atomic boom of the scandal.

Joe And Jill Biden Reportedly Try To Quietly Weasel Back Into Democratic Leadership

After being forced to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, former President Joe Biden wants back into politics and wants to help the Democratic party rebuild, people close to the politician told NBC News.

The 82-year-old hasn’t been heard from much since leaving the White House in January, but according to NBC News, who spoke to people close to the former president, Biden has told multiple Democratic leaders he is willing to raise funds, campaign and do whatever it takes to help the party fight back against Donald Trump. The former president met with newly elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin in February to offer up his help to the party, sources said.

“Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?” a significant Biden supporter, granted anonymity to speak freely about the former president, told NBC News.

Former First Lady Jill Biden is also making herself available to the party to help with rebuilding, a person close to her told the outlet.

A daughter of ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped into outgoing first lady Jill Biden over the weekend — seemingly comparing her to Shakespeare’s power-hungry, ruthless Lady MacBeth.

The Dem first lady recently took a swipe at Pelosi over the Democratic mutiny against President Biden last summer, and Alexandra Pelosi, the lefty California congresswoman’s daughter, responded by saying her mom is actually one of the few friends Joe Biden has left.

“If I was Lady McBiden, I’d put on my big girl pants, play the long game and think about my husband’s legacy,” Alexandra snipped to Politico on Saturday.

“There aren’t that many people left in America who have something nice to say about Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi is one of them,” the younger Pelosi said.

In an interview published last week, Jill, 73, openly questioned her decadeslong friendship with Nancy Pelosi, 84, in light of the Dem revolt against her husband, which the former speaker had her fingerprints all over. Jill Biden Reveals What She Said to Trump in Viral Moment at Paris Cathedral

First lady Jill Biden and President-elect Trump surprised observers in December after appearing chummy at the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris — and now she has revealed what the pair talked about in that viral moment.

French first lady Brigitte Macron had been sitting in between Jill and Trump during the ceremony, but when she got up and the two were left to themselves, they were captured smiling and chatting. Jill revealed in an interview with The Washington Post that she poked some fun at him and her husband.

“I had a good meeting with your husband in the Oval Office,” Trump said, according to Jill. Trump met with President Biden at the White House following his decisive win over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 general election, and the two men were photographed smiling and laughing together.

“Yes,” Jill replied to Trump, “because you’re both talkers.”

First lady Jill Biden collected tens of thousands of dollars in gifts from foreign leaders throughout 2023, according to documents released by the State Department.

Throughout 2023, the president and his wife were presented with thousands of dollars of gifts from foreign leaders, with the first lady receiving the most expensive gift of the year, a $20,000 diamond, according to annual accounting documents released by the State Department. The 7.5 carat diamond was a gift from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Other pricey gifts the first lady received include a $2,000 Eye of Horus necklace, an Egyptian Wood Inlaid Shell Purse, as well as a $14,063 brooch from the Ukrainian ambassador, the documents show.

On another occasion, the first lady received chairs, a brooch, a photograph album and a bracelet from the president and first lady of Egypt, in total valued at $4,510, the documents show. Kishida Yuko, spouse to the prime minister of Japan, gifted the first lady with calligraphy titled,”The Ship in the Sky,” valued at $2,500, according to the annual accounting documents.

The first lady of the Republic of Tunisia gave Biden a scarf, a book titled, “Carthage – Fact and Myth,” a sculpture and some sweets, all totaling $3,015, the annual accounting documents show.

President Joe Biden also received gifts, sometimes in tandem with the first lady, the documents show. On one occasion, Biden received $2,400 collage from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the annual accounting documents. Biden was also gifted a $3,160 sterling silver tray from the Israeli President Issac Herzog, the documents report. . . .First Lady Jill Biden wished youngsters “Happy Holidays” at a Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign Friday – but several children quickly corrected her, shouting “Happy Christmas” in a caught-on-camera interaction that sparked a social media frenzy.

“Hello! How are you? Hi! Happy Holidays,” the 73-year-old first lady told children attending the annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign at the White House.

Her well-wishes to the kids of military service members were met with multiple shouts of “Happy Christmas!”

The first lady, who couldn’t help but laugh at the way the children received her seasonal salutation, responded, “Happy Christmas, yes.”

Video of Biden being corrected quickly went viral on social media, with the majority of people praising the reaction of the youngsters.
