Jon Stewart Cuts Open His Hand While Smashing Mug in Anger at Ex-President Biden: ‘I’ll Be Going to the Hospital Soon’

Jon Stewart took his cutting criticism on “The Daily Show” a little too far — slicing open his hand while smashing a mug in anger at former President Joe Biden.

The lefty comedian started his show Monday by pretending to be a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employee, bringing out a calculator and a mug reading “World’s Most Dad,” a clear dig at DOGE boss Elon Musk and his ever-growing offspring.

Stewart then said the cost-cutting department’s focus should be the billions in subsidies given to corporations, particularly pharmaceutical companies — losing it while turning on Biden for once boasting about negotiating to cut the prices of just 10 drugs.

“F–king thanks! Come on!” he yelled, smashing the mug on his desk in exaggerated outrage as footage of the former president remained onscreen.

After briefly continuing his rant, Stewart grimaced as he looked at his hand, which he quickly pulled away to hide under his desk.

“I’ll be going to the hospital soon,” he then joked with an embarrassed smile. (Read more from “Jon Stewart Cuts Open His Hand While Smashing Mug in Anger at Ex-President Biden: ‘I’ll Be Going to the Hospital Soon’” HERE)

Jon Stewart Leaves “The Daily Show” For Unknown Reasons

Jon Stewart, whose wit defined “The Daily Show” for more than 15 years, will sign off the iconic Comedy Central program later this year.

“In my heart I know it is time for someone else to have that opportunity,” he said on Tuesday night’s show as his studio audience gasped.

Members of the audience yelled “we love you Jon” as he expressed his appreciation for the show’s staff and called hosting it “the honor of my professional life.”

It isn’t clear when Stewart will sign off; his contract expires in September, but he may leave as soon as July, or as late as December, he said.

In a farewell statement, Michelle Ganeless, the president of the channel, called Stewart “a comic genius, generous with his time and talent,” and said the host “will always be a part of the Comedy Central family.” (Read more from “Jon Stewart leaves ‘The Daily Show'” HERE)

Jon Stewart Savages Obamacare Website Fiasco (+video)

It’s not a stretch to say that “The Daily Show” could become one of the Obama administration’s worst nightmares on Obamacare. Four in every 10 of its viewers are younger than 30 — exactly the type of people who need to sign up for the Affordable Care Act to make it work.

On Monday night, two weeks after he sparred with Human and Health Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in an interview on the show, Jon Stewart went hard again after the rollout of the law…

“Yes, apparently the HealthCare.gov website has 99 problems, but a glitch is all of them,” Stewart said.

Stewart seemed baffled by how some of the website’s most basic functions — even the calculator — won’t work. He also dismissed how Democrats “are trying to spin this turd,” like when Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Sunday that the glitches are a good sign of the strong demand.

Jon Stewart Grills Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Obamacare and Accuses her of Lying to Him (+videos)

Photo Credit: Comedy Central Jon Stewart has been attacking the Republicans all week over the government shutdown but he took aim at a member of his own party on Monday night.

Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, was probably expecting a soft-ball interview about the roll out of President Obama’s signature health care plan but instead she was left backpedalling to try to recover from his pointed criticisms.

The Comedy Central host started by poking fun at how long the online marketplace takes to load, saying that it was comparable to the amount of time it would take to download all of the movies ever created.

After going for the easy laugh, things turned much more serious when he brought up a ‘legitimate criticism’ that Republicans have made.

Businesses with more than 50 full time employees have been given a delay so that they don’t have to provide health insurance for their employees for another year, whereas individuals have to sign up by December 15 or face a fine.

Jon Stewart returned to Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” Tuesday night after spending the summer directing a film in Jordan, and the host wasted no time in going after the Obama administration and Congress members on Syria.

Correspondent John Oliver filled in for Mr. Stewart for eight of the 12-week break, and he gave the returning host an on-air rundown of the summer’s news.

“Wow! America taking military action against a Middle East regime? It’s like I never left,” the host said, before leading into a segment called “Uncle Jonny Stew’s Good Time Syria Jamboree,” featuring presidents who delivered various threats against Middle Eastern countries.

Video: Jon Stewart Skewers Obama Over His Response to Benghazi

Jon Stewart pretty much tells it like it is in this video hammering Obama’s response to the Benghazi attacks.

He goes through the sequence of contradictory statements from the administration and concludes with Obama still refusing to admit the attacks were terrorism, not reactions to a two-bit pornographer’s video, the Innocence of Muslims.

Stewart finishes the collage with this assessment: “Two things apparently have become clear. The attack on our embassy was planned and coordinated. The response to it, ahhh, not so much.”

This great clip comes to you courtesy of the Daily Show, but you should still watch it. Reporters interview a bunch of irrational delegates at the Democratic Convention. The responses are priceless:

Video: Hilarious – Jon Stewart hits Romney AND Obama

I don’t watch much of the Daily Show, but the following short clips are hilarious. The first makes fun of Obama’s and Romney’s recent verbal sparring, followed by VP sweepstakes role-playing on The Colbert Report:

Here’s another short clip from Jon Stewart’s show where he highlights the idiocy of an Obama PAC ad that blames Romney for a woman’s death followed by a short clip on the “Redneck Olympics.”

And here’s the offensive ad itself (watch at your own risk):
