A podcaster who said she volunteered at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago left the event knowing she would not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris accepted the Democratic nomination to replace President Joe Biden Thursday, a little more than a month after Biden announced he was ending his reelection bid. The co-host of the podcast “Rolling In The Deep State,” who introduced herself as Evan on another video on TikTok, said on a viral TikTok video that attendees at the convention were “the most elite and out-of-touch people in the entire world.”

“When I was there, I didn’t feel any connection to real America or the place that I come from, which is the Midwest, Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri,” the volunteer said. “I didn’t feel any connection to the people that I know right now, who are struggling to buy their groceries or to pay their rent, the people who want to know what both candidates are going to do to materially affect change in their lives. And when I was there listening to the speeches, I felt myself feeling mad because I didn’t hear anything about the economy, definitely not in Kamala’s speech and not very much in the others as well. Instead, I heard generic platitudes, things like joy and respect and integrity. And what does that even mean?”

“Let’s make the military the most lethal in the world? I thought I was part of the anti-war party,” the volunteer continued. “I thought I was part of the party that thought for the underdog, that championed working people. When and how did we just become the party of academia and affluence? Democrat Lawmakers Dismiss Kamala Harris’s Price-Control Plan

A series of insider revelations have surfaced indicating that multiple Democrat lawmakers are privately dismissing Vice President Kamala Harris’s controversial grocery price-control plan, which has faced substantial backlash from economists and critics alike.

Politico reports that Democrat lawmakers are quietly signaling to concerned allies that Harris’s proposal, unveiled during her first policy-focused speech on August 16, is unlikely to advance through Congress. The plan, which has been described as “Soviet-style” by critics, aims to impose central price controls on food products. Despite this, the Biden-Harris administration has downplayed inflation concerns, with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre inaccurately claiming in June that prices for staple items like eggs and milk, as well as gasoline, have decreased.

According to Politico, several lawmakers and aides interviewed under anonymity have confirmed that Congressional Democrats are privately acknowledging the impracticality of Harris’s plan. A food industry official echoed this sentiment, labeling the proposal as “not a serious policy” and suggesting it is more of a political maneuver designed to deflect blame from the administration’s handling of inflation.

Criticism of the plan has been further amplified by Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell, who penned a scathing op-ed describing the proposal as a “sweeping set of government-enforced price controls” that would undermine market dynamics. Rampell warned that such a policy would replace supply and demand with bureaucratic control, potentially allowing agencies like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to dictate prices for basic goods.

The DNC Has Just Been One Long Litany of Stupid, Obvious Lies

It almost goes without saying that what Democrats are putting on at the DNC this week in Chicago is a simulacrum of democracy, a mimicry of the excitement and drama that might have come from a deliberative process of Democrat Party voters choosing their presidential candidate.

None of it is real. The DNC has all the trappings of a major political party convention but without any of the substance. Not a single Democrat voter cast a primary ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris, yet Democrats are going through the motions as if that’s exactly what happened.

They even trotted out President Joe Biden—the putative head of the Democrat Party, whose reelection campaign was abruptly ended by party bosses against his will—late on the first night of the convention. It was a mere formality. Biden delivered a slurred, angry speech, full of lies and distortions, and then they shuffled him off to Santa Barbara for the rest of the week, rendering the sitting president a nonparticipant in his own party’s convention.

But Democrats’ fakery goes deeper than just pantomiming a democratic process after executing a coup against the sitting president. The Harris-Walz campaign branding of “joy”—repeated this week ad nauseum by the propaganda press—is obviously fake and forced. By running a campaign almost completely devoid of policy substance or any real interaction with the news media, consisting mostly of staged videos of Harris and Walz yukking it up on the campaign trail or delivering speeches via teleprompter at highly controlled rallies, Democrat Party leaders are essentially running a psy-op on the American electorate.

A big part of that psy-op is to lie and mislead brazenly about everything. On the opening night of the convention, Biden repeated the infamous “very fine people on both sides” hoax and the “suckers and losers” hoax, both of which anyone can easily look up in 30 seconds. He also claimed that 500,000 new electric vehicle charging stations have been created under his administration (the actual number is seven), among many other blatant falsehoods. Trump maintained Harris had her entire vice-presidential term to solve what he called she was “complaining about” during her speech.

“The biggest reaction is why didn’t she do the things she is complaining about?” Trump said. “All of these things that she’s talked about — we’re going to do this, we’re going to do that. We’re going to do everything. But she didn’t do any of it. She could have done it three-and-a-half years ago. She could do it tonight by leaving the auditorium and going to Washington D.C., and closing the border. She doesn’t need a bill. Trump Found a Way to Finish His Response to Kamala’s DNC Speech After Being Cut Off on Fox

By Townhall. Former President Donald Trump would not sit quietly while Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her acceptance speech to the Democratic National Convention. The coup is complete. Ms. Harris, who never received a single primary vote, is now the 2024 nominee after it was wrested from Joe Biden. For Democrats, Harris’ speech was groundbreaking and an excellent foray into her supposed experience and skills for the presidency. It read like ChatGPT spewed the lines because it was loaded with incoherency and lies for everyone else.

One whopper was this abortion Stasi that Trump would establish if elected after he enacted a nationwide abortion ban. Trump was reacting live on Truth Social but later called into Fox News to push back on Harris’ address. There was one problem: Fox cut off the president. There was no sinister intent, but the programming pushed against Greg Gutfeld’s show. It’s not a major controversy—Trump later called Gutfeld to finish his reaction to the Democrats’ convention:

Kamala Harris Sure Did Have an ‘Unexpected’ Path to Becoming the Democratic Nominee

On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris formally accept the nomination at the DNC. The speech wasn’t remarkable. It was also boring and disorganized, with our friends at RedState highlighting particular moments.

Early on, Harris mentioned President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Tellingly, they weren’t present. Biden gave his speech on Monday night, at a shamefully late time, and left.

“When I think about the path that we have traveled together, Joe, I am filled with gratitude,” she claimed. It makes sense, considering he stepped aside so that she could replace him.

Even more telling, Harris declared that “America, the path that led me here in recent weeks was no doubt unexpected, but I’m no stranger to unlikely journeys.”

Harris didn’t earn a single vote in the 2020 or 2024 primaries. She ran for president for 2020 but dropped out in December 2019. DNC Fail: Viewers Rage After False Reports of Beyoncé Performance — ‘F**king Liars Lied to Get People to Watch’

Fans and viewers had a collective meltdown after pop star Beyoncé was a no-show at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) following multiple news reports that the Grammy-winner would perform on Thursday night. “F**king liars,” one fan reacted, accusing the convention and or news outlets of lying “to get people to watch.”

“Beyoncé Performing at DNC’s Final Night!!!” read a headline from TMZ, which reported that multiple sources with knowledge of the matter told the outlet that the “Beautiful Liar” singer would be “big surprise performer” as Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepts the Democrat Party nomination.

Other news outlets followed suit, reporting of Beyoncé’s imminent DNC performance, with Huff Post telling viewers to look out for the “Bey Watch.”

‘What’s Goin’ on With Y’all?’: Caller Confronts Radio Host About ‘Falling Head Over Heels For’ Harris

A caller on Wednesday challenged radio host Charlamagne Tha God about his support for Vice President Kamala Harris. . .

“How you guys falling for Kamala so bad? I mean, you guys are falling head over heels for this lady. She a VP almost four years, she’s done absolutely nothing,” the caller said. “And she copy and pasting Trump’s ‘no tax on tips,’ and everybody’s just falling for it. I mean, it is ridiculous. What’s goin’ on with y’all? … I mean, Charlamagne, you too, man — you just as guilty, man. I mean, not you, [DJ] Envy, so much, ’cause you somewhat 50/50, I can see it. But Charla, man.”

“Actually, I’ve been supporting the vice president since 2020 … I did a couple of campaign stops with her in 2020. I like her message of rebuilding the middle class,” Charlamagne responded. “Don’t you want the opportunity to own a small business? Don’t you want the opportunity to own a home? Don’t you want to see more money in working-class people’s pockets? And I like the fact that she’s put her money where her mouth is in regards to mental health, $285 million to increase the amount of mental health professionals in schools … Her being a leader in the maternal health space … Do I love the whole Democratic Party? No, but she has some policies that I can get behind.”

The caller then said Harris has failed in her role of stemming the border crisis.

“So you mean to tell me, the past four years — what’s been going on, everybody’s hurting. She’s done absolutely nothing for the border. That was her one job as VP — absolutely nothing,” he said. “She is just a face. Trump’s Ex-Spokeswoman Trashes Him at DNC, Endorses Harris

Former Trump White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham bashed former President Donald Trump and hailed Vice President Kamala Harris in a speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday.

Grisham was one of the star speakers on the second night of the DNC, during which she lambasted her former boss. Her speech lasted about two minutes.

“When I was press secretary, I got skewered for never holding a White House briefing,” she said. “It’s because, unlike my boss, I never wanted to stand at that podium and lie. Now here I am behind a podium advocating for a Democrat, and that’s because I love my country more than my party. Kamala Harris tells the truth. She respects the American people. And she has my vote.” . . .

Donald Trump had dismissed Grisham’s criticisms ahead of the publication of her memoirs in the fall of 2021, saying she had become “very angry and bitter” after a breakup.

“Stephanie didn’t have what it takes and that was obvious from the beginning,” he said in a statement to the New York Times. “She had big problems and we felt that she should work out those problems for herself. Democrats Conduct Fake Delegate ‘Vote’ for Kamala Harris, Who Was Already Nominee

Delegates at the Democratic National Convention conducted a fake, “ceremonial” vote to nominate Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as the party’s presidential ticket.

Harris was already the Democratic presidential nominee as of August 5, when delegates voted online. As the Associated Press reported:

Just as soon as Biden abruptly ended his candidacy, Harris and her team worked rapidly to secure backing from the 1,976 party delegates needed to clinch the nomination in a formal roll call vote. She reached that marker at warp speed, with an Associated Press survey of delegates nationwide showing she locked down the necessary commitments a mere 32 hours after Biden’s announcement.

Harris’ nomination became official after a five-day round of online balloting by Democratic National Convention delegates ended Monday night. The party had long contemplated the early virtual roll call to ensure Biden would appear on the ballot in every state.
