97% of Political Contributions From USAID Employees Went to Dems

Political contributions from employees at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) went almost entirely to Democrats, according to a Daily Wire analysis.

In the 2024 election cycle, USAID staff made a total of $406,790 in political contributions, according to data collected on OpenSecrets. More than half of that, $241,079, went to the former Vice President Kamala Harris. Only $999 — a quarter of a percent — went to President Donald Trump.

In all, just over $377,000, or 97%, went to Democrats, while just $12,704 went to Republicans. Open Secrets tracked all political donations of USAID employees to PACs and candidates over $200 via data from the Federal Election Commission.

These numbers highlight the political bias Trump and his team have said they need to root out from USAID. Trump on Monday said that the agency and its $50 billion annual budget were run by “radical left lunatics” who “went crazy during the Biden administration” and were giving money “to people that shouldn’t be getting” it. Elon Musk, who has been tasked with slashing federal waste through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said the agency was “beyond repair.” (Read more from “97% of Political Contributions From USAID Employees Went to Dems” HERE)

Kamala Harris’ Husband Has Found His Next Gig

Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband will be working for a high-powered corporate law firm after making connections with world leaders, according to a press release.

Former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will return to practicing law at the firm of Willkie, Farr and Gallagher after his wife’s November election loss to President Donald Trump. Emhoff, who previously worked at DLA Piper, is listed as a partner based in Los Angeles, according to the firm’s website.

Emhoff’s tenure as second gentleman “got him in touch with very important leaders across the globe,” Thomas M. Cerabino, a co-chairman at the law firm, told the New York Times. “We think that Doug, as a trusted adviser as well as a lawyer, is going to create opportunities that will be an incredible boost across all fronts.”

“Doug is trusted by business leaders around the world who have counted on him over the years as an advisor and counselor as they have navigated some of the most complex and dynamic challenges in high-stakes situations,” Matthew Feldman, another top attorney at the firm, said in Monday’s release. “His deep knowledge of global markets, policy and the law will be an invaluable resource to our firm’s teams and our clients.” (Read more from “Kamala Harris’ Husband Has Found His Next Gig” HERE)

Kamala Harris Consulted Hillary Clinton Over How to Deal With Brutal Loss to Trump: Report

. . .Following her brutal election loss, former Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly spoke with Hillary Clinton on multiple occasions as she mulls her future in the wake of President Trump’s return to the White House.

Not much is known about the details of those discussions, but Harris had also consulted family members and friends while trying to figure out her future, New York Magazine reported.

Clinton, 77, was the first woman to win the Democratic nomination for president, and she was also the first female to notch a popular vote victory.

Harris, 60, was the first female vice president in US history and the second woman to serve as the Democrats’ presidential standard bearer.

But both were beaten by Trump, 78. (Read more from “Kamala Harris Consulted Hillary Clinton Over How to Deal With Brutal Loss to Trump: Report” HERE)

Now It’s Time for Kamala Harris to Give Her Cringeworthy Remarks

Wednesday night brought us President Joe Biden’s farewell address. On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris gave remarks of her own, and they were just as bad as you were expecting. Harris gave brief remarks before signing the desk drawer in her Ceremonial Office. It’s a tradition going back to the 1940s, and she only spoke for about five minutes, yet there was still plenty of cringe.

Although Harris failed in her bid as Biden’s replacement nominee, even losing the popular vote against President-elect Donald Trump last November, she still began by declaring, “I just have to say again, I am so proud of our team, and this is a team that spans many years of doing extraordinary work.” Not only did Harris fail in her presidential bid, her vice presidency was also rocked, and early on, by exits from staff and anonymous reports about a difficult work place.

Her remarks only got more bizarre from there. “On behalf of the people, and as you have all heard me say many times, I am fully aware that I am the public face of a lot of our work, and so I have the benefit of running into people all over our country who thank me,” she continued, already sounding as if she was slurring her words a bit. Beyond that, though, it was quite the pretentious claim to make, though she sort of tried to turn that around by continuing to thank her team.

“And I will tell you I am fully aware that when they are thanking me, they are thanking our team for the extraordinary commitment that you each have and as a team have, to lifting up the American people, lifting up their condition, lifting up their hopes and dreams and understanding, through it all, the nobility of public service,” Harris continued. Those might sound like nice words, but the American people have suffered mightily under the Biden-Harris administration, and responded by rejecting Harris and giving Trump a second term. Republican Senators Respond to Poll Showing Nearly Half of D.C. Federal Bureaucrats Aim to Oppose Trump

Republican senators highlighted a growing deep state opposition to President-elect Donald Trump, citing a revealing new poll on the federal bureaucracy and urging Trump to be vigilant as he enters office next week.

The poll, which the firm RMG Research released Monday, revealed that 42% of what the survey calls “federal government managers”—federal employees who live in the National Capitol Region around Washington and earn at least $75,000 annually—plan to politically oppose the incoming administration.

Nearly two-thirds (64%) of the federal government managers who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris in November said they would ignore a lawful order from Trump if they considered it to be bad policy. Only 17% of the Harris voters in the federal bureaucracy said they would follow Trump’s order.

“Bureaucracy is the real threat to democracy,” Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, told The Daily Signal in an emailed statement Wednesday. Ernst leads the Senate DOGE Caucus, an effort to help the DOGE, or Department of Government Efficiency, a nongovernmental panel led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy and aimed at rooting out waste and abuse in the federal government. . .

“The bureaucrat class has forgotten that their job is to serve the American people, and I am happy to help remind them,” Ernst added. “As the Senate DOGE Caucus Chair, I am rooting out the rot in Washington. Federal employees are paid by taxpayers to work for taxpayers. They can either do their job or find another.” (Read more from “Republican Senators Respond to Poll Showing Nearly Half of D.C. Harris Roasted for ‘Word Salad’ Advice to LA Fire Victims as Lame-Duck VP Winds Down Term (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris served up some of her trademark “word salad” Monday during a White House briefing on the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Harris, 60, urged Southern California residents displaced by widespread evacuation orders to remain patient as first responders work to ensure neighborhoods are safe to re-enter.

However, several X users noted that it took the vice president far more words than necessary to express her point.

“It’s critically important that, to the extent you can find anything that gives you an ability to be patient in this extremely dangerous and unprecedented crisis, that you do,” Harris said in her wordy message to Californians eager to get back home.

One X user described the vice president’s message as “Classic Kamala.” (Read more from “Harris Roasted for ‘Word Salad’ Advice to LA Fire Victims as Lame-Duck VP Winds Down Term” HERE)

Trump Trolls Harris by Posting Parody Conversation Between Him and Obama at Jimmy Carter’s Funeral Mocking VP

President-elect Donald Trump trolled Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday by posting an online parody conversation based on a viral video of him chatting up former President Barack Obama during Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

The seemingly friendly chat between Trump and Obama on Thursday raised eyebrows and left observers wondering what the pair discussed leading up to the 39th president’s memorial service at the National Cathedral.

Trump jokingly filled in the gaps when he posted a parody video on Truth Social with fake audio dubbed into the real video.

“I knew you’d win,” a dubbed Obama told Trump after sitting down.

“Oh really? Come on,” a faux Trump replied. “Anyone could beat her.” (Read more from “Trump Trolls Harris by Posting Parody Conversation Between Him and Obama at Jimmy Carter’s Funeral Mocking VP” HERE)

Biden Was Asked About Raging Inferno at Briefing — Shares Personal Detail Instead

President Biden on Wednesday made some brief and off-topic remarks after meeting with firefighting officials about the fierce wildfires raging in the Los Angeles area.

“We’re prepared to do anything and everything as long as it takes to contain these fires and help reconstruct, make sure that we can get back to normal,” Biden, who was there to sign a disaster declaration alongside California Gov. Gavin Newsom, said.

“It’s gonna be a hell of a long way. It’s gonna take time. But the government is here to stay, as long as you need us. Give everything you need. Anything you asked and haven’t gotten yet?” he continued. . .

Biden then took the meeting in an unexpected direction, announcing that he had become a great-grandfather and celebrating the birth of his eldest granddaughter’s first child.

“The good news is I’m a great-grandfather as of today,” Biden said before declining questions from reporters. (Read more from “Biden Was Asked About Raging Inferno at Briefing — Shares Personal Detail Instead” HERE)

Video Shows Kamala Harris Forced To Relive Election Loss As Fellow Democrats Read Off Every Swing State Loss

As she certified the 2024 election, Vice President Kamala Harris was forced to listen to the results of her loss Monday in front of her fellow Democrats in Congress.

Congress convened Monday to certify the election results by its deadline, Jan. 6, 2025. The members of Congress voted to certify the election with no objections raised and Harris presided over the day as it is a role of the vice president’s office.

Monday’s electoral college vote was 312-226. Before certifying the election, Harris listened to the election results of every state, including those she lost to Trump. The now president-elect defeated Harris in a landslide, taking all of the swing states. North Carolina and Georgia were the first two swing states called, erasing the Sun Belt path to victory for Harris by 11 p.m.

Vice President Kamala Harris Appears to Flub Pledge of Allegiance in Latest Gaffe

Vice President Kamala Harris appeared to botch the Pledge of Allegiance as the Senate was sworn in for the 119th Congress.

“I pledge allegiance to the United States of America,” the vice president said as she led the Senate in the pledge Friday, omitting the words “the flag of.”

The full pledge, which many children have memorized in grade school, goes as follows: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

In a video clip of the major blunder, senators could be heard reciting the pledge correctly and Harris, 60, seemed to doubleback, repeating the words, “United States of America” after hearing members of the upper chamber correctly say, “to the flag of” as she flubbed the line.

Some social media users appeared shocked by the slip-up.
