KJP Says Trans Community Is Under Attack

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Thursday that the transgender community is under attack just days after a transgender shooter murdered six people at a Christian elementary school on Monday.

A reporter questioned Jean-Pierre about about recently passed legislation in Kentucky that bans sex changes for minors and requires transgender people to use bathrooms that match their biological sex. Kentucky lawmakers voted Wednesday to pass the bill over Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear’s veto. The reporter also mentioned upcoming protests against legislation like Kentucky’s.

Jean-Pierre responded that the White House supports “peaceful protest” and denounced “anti-trans bills” that “attack trans kids” and “trans parents.”

“It is shameful and it is unacceptable,” she added. “As you mentioned, tomorrow’s Trans Visibility Day. On a day that we should be lifting up our trans kids, our trans youth and making sure that they feel seen. Karine Jean-Pierre Responds to Question About Gun Confiscation With an Alarming Answer

When faced with a relatively easy question about President Joe Biden’s position on gun confiscation policies, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wouldn’t give a straight answer.

Invoking repeatedly failed candidate Robert Francis O’Rourke’s 2019 presidential debate promise that “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” a reporter asked Jean-Pierre, “Does the president support not just banning the sale and manufacture of semi-automatic weapons but further than that, confiscation?”

It’s a straightforward question: Does President Biden think legally owned firearms should be confiscated by the federal government? But Jean-Pierre wouldn’t say “yes” or “no” in what should be an easy answer.

Instead, Jean-Pierre ignored the question and retreated to the usual Democrat talking points about “weapons of war” that “should not be on the streets across the country in our communities, they should not be in schools, they should not be in grocery stores, they should not be in churches — that’s what the president believes.”

White House Reacts to Nashville Mass Shooting by Blaming Republicans (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to the mass shooting at a Nashville, Tennessee, elementary school by blaming Republicans for opposing gun control measures.

“We must do more, and he [Biden] wants Congress to act, because enough is enough. In his State of the Union, the President called on Congress to do something to stop the epidemic of gun violence tearing families apart, tearing communities apart,” Jean-Pierre said shortly after mourning the victims of the shooting.

“How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban?” she continued. Karine Jean-Pierre Doubles Down on Claim That Capital Riots ‘Cost Police Officers Their Lives’ (VIDEO)

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attacked Fox News host Tucker Carlson again Wednesday after Carlson further discussed new footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol building.

“We agree with the chief of Capitol Police and the wide range of bipartisan lawmakers, you heard them all yesterday, you guys reported on it, who have condemned the false depiction of the unprecedented violent attack on our Constitution and the rule of law which cost police officers their lives,” Jean-Pierre said.

Jean-Pierre referred to the criticism of Carlson in a letter from Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger, who criticized Carlson’s use of footage showing Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick walking during Jan. 6 during his show Monday. Sicknick died of natural causes after suffering two strokes on Jan. 6, the D.C. medical examiner ruled, contradicting reports from The New York Times and other media outlets that Sicknick’s death resulted from injuries sustained during the riot. White House Won’t Say if Feds Searching for More Biden Classified Docs or if Biden Is Involved in Search (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say during Tuesday’s press briefing whether federal officials were still searching for additional classified documents from President Joe Biden’s time as vice president in the Obama administration.

“Last week [you said] that we all can assume, the American people could assume that the searches were completed and all the documents have been recovered,” the Associated Press reporter Zeke Miller said. “On Saturday, the White House Counsel’s Office said that five additional classified documents had been found.”

“Is it safe to assume now that all the documents have been recovered, all the official records, all the classified documents are back in [the] custody of the National Archives?” Miller asked. “Or are more searches underway to find out if there’s anything out there?”

Jean-Pierre refused to answer the question, claiming that she was being “prudent” by letting the DOJ’s special counsel investigation into Biden continue without commenting on it.
