REVEALED: Secret Service Once Arrested Waffle House Killer, Police Previously Confiscated His Guns

. . .The Secret Service said Sunday its agents arrested the killer in July 2017 after he was found in a “restricted area” near the White House, according to the Tennessean . . .

The killer, who is reportedly from Illinois, was revoked of his ability to possess firearms following his arrest in Washington. Illinois police also confiscated four firearms from his possession, including the AR-15 he used in Sunday’s killing, a spokesman for the Nashville Police said.

Tazewell County Sheriff Robert Huston explained at a news conference that when sheriff deputies came to confiscate the killer’s firearms last August, his father was present and asked the officers if he could take possession of the firearms instead. Tazewell said the father was legally able to possess weapons in the state of Illinois, so they turned the weapons over to him.

Authorities say the killer’s father later returned the firearms to his son. However, it was not immediately known if there was a Tennessee law that prohibited the killer from possessing the firearms.

Confessed Killer Wants Fewer Restrictions on His Freedom

Former al-Qaida terrorist and confessed killed Omar Khadr is going back to Canadian court to seek fewer restrictions on his freedom.

According to the Canadian Press, Khadr wants his bail conditions changed so that he can move anywhere in Canada, have complete access to the internet, and visit his controversial sister without his lawyer and bail supervisor being in the same room.

Khadr’s sister, Zaynab Khadr, has infuriated Canadians with her positive appraisals of al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden. In an interview with PBS’s Frontline, she was asked how parents could allow their children to become suicide bombers and Zaynab responded: “You must be very brave. You must be very, very, very brave. I mean I don’t have the guts to do that yet.”

Omar Khadr has written-off the comments by saying his sister was “saying things out of frustration.”

The Trudeau government gave Khadr $10.5 million (CDN) in “compensation” and issued a formal apology at the beginning of July because the Supreme Court of Canada described his incarceration at Guantanamo Bay as “oppressive.” Khadr claims he was tortured by U.S. and Canadian interrogators while a prisoner there. The payout and apology angered Canadians, given that Khadr had produced improvised explosive devices for the Taliban in Afghanistan and confessed to killing U.S. Army special forces medic Sgt. Christopher Speer with a hand grenade. (Read more from “Confessed Killer Wants Fewer Restrictions on His Freedom” HERE)

Manhunt Expanded for Suspect in Facebook Video Killing

Authorities in several states were on the lookout Monday for a man police say shot a Cleveland retiree collecting aluminum cans and then posted video of the apparently random killing on Facebook.

“He could be nearby. He could be far away or anywhere in between,” FBI agent Stephen Anthony said on Day 2 of the manhunt for Steve Stephens, a 37-year-old job counselor for teens and young adults.

Police said Stephens killed Robert Godwin Sr., a 74-year-old former foundry worker, on Sunday. (Read more from “Manhunt Expanded for Suspect in Facebook Video Killing” HERE)
