At a meeting of Tea Party conservatives in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said President Barack Obama “doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing,” and added that the “Republican leadership” has not taken any steps to stop Obama’s unconstitutional actions.
CNSNews.com asked Levin, “Do you believe Obama has the constitutional authority to address climate change or minimum wage without congressional approval?”

Photo Credit: Mark Taylor/flickrConservative talk radio host Mark Levin will be honored with the inaugural “Andrew Breitbart Defender of the First Amendment Award” at this year’s CPAC on Thursday, March 6.
Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow will introduce Citizens United President David Bossie, who will present the award to Levin along with Breitbart News President and CEO Larry Solov and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon.
“Mark Levin fearlessly and passionately stands up for conservatives and everyday Americans whose voices the mainstream press often tries to marginalize or silence,” Solov said. “And like Andrew Breitbart, Levin has a way of cutting through the mainstream press’s filter with his words and is never afraid to have arrows slung at him by the institutional left on the front lines of the fight.”
It will mark Levin’s only appearance at this year’s conference. The ceremony will take place in the CPAC Theater in the Chesapeake conference rooms that Citizens United will sponsor.

Photo Credit: AFP/Getty ImagesConservative radio host Mark Levin says he is “sick and tired of defeatist Republicans,” especially after watching GOP leaders in both the House and Senate fail to even try to attach any conditions or reforms to the debt ceiling increase passed this week.
Appearing on “Your World With Neil Cavuto” on Friday, Levin went off on Republicans for failing to address the nation’s serious fiscal problems because they are too worried about winning elections.
“We have $100 trillion in unfunded liability, $17.3 trillion in fiscal operating debt, this debt ceiling increase will kick it to about $18.2 trillion,” the radio host said. “Let me tell you something, I am sick and tired of defeatist Republicans going on and on, ‘You’ve got to count the numbers.’”
“Leaders effect events. Leaders change mindsets. Leaders change trajectory,” he added. “Today, we’re told the Republican Party can’t do anything about trillions in unfunded liabilities in debt. Just keep voting for debt ceiling increases, keep funding Obamacare.”
Levin went on to argue that not enough Republicans are actually explaining the “looming catastrophe” facing the United States if it doesn’t get its fiscal house in order. Americans are intelligent and can “walk and chew gum at the same time,” he argued.
On last night’s show, Levin said that Waxman is afraid that the Republican Party may return to its roots and “embrace the reason people sneak into this country in the first place: liberty, not government!”

Discussing President Obama’s remarks in the White House Tuesday, Mark Levin called the president an “economic illiterate” during Tuesday evening’s radio show…
Levin: “So there’s Obama today, with about ten people behind him, which demonstrates what a failure he is, and what a failure his policies are. And, of course, they don’t even get the irony of the damn thing. And, he says among other things, cut one, go:
Obama: “But, although the economy has been growing, and we’ve been adding new jobs, the truth of the matter is, is that the financial crisis was so devastating that there’s still a lot of people who are struggling, and in fact, if we don’t provide unemployment insurance, it makes it harder for them to find a job.”
Mark Levin said Monday on his syndicated radio program Monday that the United States Chamber of Commerce is “not about capitalism, they’re about cronyism,” continuing with the theme of the divide between “establishment Republicans” and “conservatives.”
Levin discussed an Opensecrets.org report showing that, in the 2012 election cycle, the Chamber gave $6,275,199 in campaign contributions to candidates, Leadership Political Action Committees (PACs), parties, and 527 committees.
The top individual recipients were Mitt Romney, Senate Candidate Laura Lingle (R-Hawaii), Senate Candidate George Allen (R-Va.), Senate Candidate Heather Wilson (R-NM), and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.). The Republican Governors Association (RGA) received $1.25 million, while the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) and the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) received a combined $130,000 from the Chamber.

On his program Friday, Mark Levin said that “if this were 1775-1776 the likes of Chris Matthews would be siding with the crown.”
“He’d ultimately be the Benedict Arnold. He and his ilk,” said Levin.
Levin was discussing an interview Matthews gave earlier in the day on MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner in which Matthews compared Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to the last South African Apartheid-era leader, F.W. de Klerk.
Matthews said: “To set it up that way, the juxtaposition, they were willing, the McConnell people on to the far right, were willing to destroy the country in order to destroy Obama, whereas to succeed in a country he loved, F.W. de Klerk was willing to see it transformed to black rule so that it could be done successfully so that he would have his country have a better future.
“Reverend [Al Sharpton], I just, I owe it to you. I think that is the key statement about what happened yesterday, the loss of Mandela, and what his history was about, and the key statement of why this has been so poisonous the last five years. We have real people in this country with real power and status who have used that status of power to hurt the country so they could hurt the president. That’s the most damning assessment I’ve heard and I think the truest.”

On his program Tuesday night, Mark Levin called Harry Reid and Barack Obama ‘insane’ for the way they’re trying to pack the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals with left-leaning justices, namely Patricia Millett, Nina Pillard, and Robert Wilkins.
Referring to an article from Politico, Levin said:
“And I love the way, people like the delusional Chris Matthews, the misogynist among others talk about how Tip O’Neill and Ronald Reagan got along. You can’t get along with Harry Reid and Barack Obama, they’re insane. They’re political radicals. They don’t wanna get along.

Photo Credit: markn3tel/flickr“If this is not an impeachable offense, then what is?,” Mark Levin asked his audience after playing clips of President Barack Obama repeatedly telling Americans they could keep their health care plans under Obamacare.
On his Friday radio program, Levin proposed the question after playing a clip of Obama saying “You can keep your plan” on 36 separate occasions:
“I have a question for you, it is a perfectly legitimate question,” said Levin. “This man and his party have destroyed healthcare for millions of Americans. You folks are not gonna get it back unless this entire system is withdrawn. Millions more of you are gonna fall under the same trap…

Conservative talker Mark Levin has a stern warning for President Barack Obama and his administration: Don’t mess with the World War II veterans.
Levin, author of “The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic,” told his audience on his Wednesday radio show should there be any action taken against those veterans for visiting the World War II Memorial on the National Mall, even with the government shutdown, he would bring 500,000 people to march on the Washington, D.C. in response.
“I want to tell you folks something — I want to say this loud and clear to the people who are on Capitol Hill who are listening, to this administration: You lay one damn hand on one of those World War II vets at that memorial, I’ll bring half a million people to that damn memorial,” Levin said. “You got that? I’m sitting here stewing thinking about this — playing these damn games. You will ignite a movement in this country like you have never seen before — the biker patriot army, veterans from all over the country, every single war and battle in this country — Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever.”
