LGBTQ Activists Go All in on Mother’s Day: ‘Trans Women Can Be Moms Too’ (VIDEO)

LGBTQ activists spouted far-left talking points in celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday by sharing memes and videos about how fathers can be mothers too.

In one video shared by Libs of TikTok, a man who identifies as a woman said America should have a “Parents Day.”

“There’s two different days of the year that I question. There’s Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. As a trans person, as a trans woman, which one do I celebrate? I don’t feel like a father. Mother’s Day is tomorrow, I feel like a mom, but who celebrates me?” he asked rhetorically.

“I just genuinely want to know is there other people out there that you don’t know which one you fall under. Are you a mom or are you a dad? Where’s Parents Day? Why can’t we just have a Parents Day? he added. “Like you’re a parent that’s worth celebrating. Why does it have to be one or the other?” . . .

Can We Still Call It Mother’s Day?

Not long ago, Mother’s Day was the quintessential Hallmark holiday, a holiday where children and spouses scrambled to buy flowers, send cards and organize brunch to thank mom for the under-appreciated work she does to raise the next generation.

This Mother’s Day, moms need something more than flowers and brunch: We need people to stand up and defend the very concept of motherhood and what it means to be a woman.

Right now words such as “mother” and “pregnant women” are being scrubbed from public discourse by woke activists who insist that common sex-based terms are not inclusive. And indeed, the term mother does invoke a distinctly feminine image, drawing upon women’s role not only in nurturing children, but in actually gestating and bringing them into this world.

Of course, millions of women are mothers who have never given birth themselves, but who embraced the sacrificial nurturing love and labor associated with mothering.

The President’s Fiscal Year 2022 Budget removed the word “mother” from the section related to spending on maternal health, referring instead to “birthing people.” (Read more from “Opinion: Can We Still Call It Mother’s Day?” HERE)

Pro-Abortion Radicals to Terrorize Churches on Mother’s Day

Pro-abortion radicals plan to terrorize Catholic churches on Mother’s Day after a Supreme Court leak revealed Roe v. Wade may be overturned.

Ruth Sent Us, a radical-left organization, has sent out a notice over social media of sadistic protests occurring at unknown church locations throughout metropolitan cities.

“Whether you’re a ‘Catholic for Choice,’ ex-Catholic, of other or no faith, recognize that six extremist Catholics set out to overturn Roe. Stand at or in a local Catholic Church Sun May 8,” the radical group tweeted on May 3.

Protests on Sunday are a part of a so-called “week of action.” Ruth Sent Us has also published the justices’ supposed home addresses online for the radical protestors to locate and therefore intimidate the justices.

“Rise up May 8-15 and beyond… At the homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland,” its website says. “Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,” the group’s website said. “We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.”

School Renames Mother’s Day: ‘We No Longer Subscribe to a Binary World’

An Australian school renamed Mother’s Day, calling it “Acknowledgment Day” as the principal stated, “We no longer subscribe to a binary world.”

As The Daily Mail writes of Brunswick East Primary School in Melbourne, “In previous years, the school has hosted a fundraising stall where children could buy Mother’s Day merchandise such as mugs, trinkets, candles and soaps.” But now the stall will be called the “appreciation stall” instead, where children can buy gifts for anyone.

Principal Janet Di Pilla wrote in the school newsletter:

You will see further in this newsletter a fantastic poster for our first “Acknowledgment Day.” We will be holding 2 of these days each year; one to coincide with the “traditional” Mother’s Day and the other to coincide with the “traditional” Father’s Day. There has been a lot of discussion about the reason we celebrate these days and the naming of the celebration. I believe that days like this are important because we do need to stop and show gratitude for those around us. However, it is also very important that we make these occasions as inclusive as possible.

I sincerely hope that this change in name will show that we as a community recognize that our families are not made up of any particular combination of people and that we no longer subscribe to a binary world. I am sorry that in the past we have offended some members of our community and I hope that this acknowledgment goes some way to address any hurt which has occurred in the past.
