Truck Video Shows Moving Company Block In Alleged Child Abductor In After Spotting 2-Year-Old

A Phoenix moving crew used their trucks to trap an alleged child abductor in a gas station parking lot after recognizing a toddler from an Amber Alert.

Kevin Place, a Camelback Moving Inc. worker, stepped inside the QuikTrip to grab water when he caught the security guard on a phone call, he told KTAR’s Outspoken with Bruce & Gaydos. The security guard recognized alleged 23-year-old abductor Marina Noriega and 2-year-old Kehlani Rogers, AZ Family reported.

“I hear the security guard talking on the phone. I’m assuming he’s speaking to police. He says, ‘I think I see the little girl,’” Place said. Coworker Ralph Vollmert told the station Place rushed to their truck and pointed out the child in a nearby vehicle.

The crew decided on the spot to position their rigs around the suspect’s pickup. Place reportedly wrote down the vehicle’s license plate and turned it over to the security guard before returning to his truck and activating the camera. Vollmert told KTAR that the suspect never attempted to drive off, and squad cars flooded the lot moments later.

Camelback Moving President Chad Olsen told AZ Family he was struck by the dashcam footage showing his team identify the situation and coordinate in real time. (Read more from “Truck Video Shows Moving Company Block In Alleged Child Abductor In After Spotting 2-Year-Old” HERE)

Judge Orders Phoenix’s Largest Homeless Encampment to Be Permanently Cleared Out in 45 Days

A judge recently ordered the city of Phoenix, Arizona, to permanently clear out a homeless encampment known as “the Zone” by November 4.

On Wednesday, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Scott Blaney issued a ruling on a lawsuit filed by Phoenix residents and business owners concerning the city’s largest homeless encampment. They claimed Phoenix “created, maintained, and/or failed to abate a public nuisance.”

According to the Goldwater Institute, more than 1,000 unhoused people reside in the Zone, sleeping in makeshift tents on the sidewalks. However, a count conducted just last week put the number closer to 500, according to KPNX.

Residents have reported seeing open-air drug use, public sex, defecation, and urination, the law firm stated. In addition, the area around the Zone has experienced an uptick in violent crimes, including shootings, stabbings, and rapes, the Goldwater Institute claimed. Sources: Man Taken Into Custody in Phoenix Allegedly Boasted to Friends of Rash of Freeway Shootings

150909-arizona-shootings_792df76de1ac45d506369b911033318f.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000The man taken into custody in Phoenix Friday allegedly boasted to friends of his involvement in a rash of freeway shootings over the last 12 days, a police source said, adding the unidentified man is also wanted in connection with other crimes.

Bart Graves, a spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety, would not confirm the information, saying only the individual is a “person of interest” who will be “questioned all day” . . .

Sources also say police are attempting to place the man and his white Chevrolet Tahoe at the scene of previous shooting incidents using cell phone data from nearby towers, license plate readers and video taken from the 19 Department of Transportation cameras lining a 10-mile stretch of Interstate 10 through Central and West Phoenix.

The man and his mother were detained Friday morning in Phoenix outside a convenience store about four miles north of Interstate 10, where a majority of the 11 confirmed shootings took place.

Multiple undercover units and marked patrol cars boxed in the man’s SUV and wrestled him to the ground as he exited the store. Minutes later he spoke to Fox affiliate KSAZ through the back window of a patrol car. Phoenix Organizer Final Words: ‘I’m Going Into Hiding . . . This Is Tyranny, Terrorism Right Here in America’

The organizer of a free-speech rally held outside a Phoenix mosque Friday said he and his family are going into hiding after threats on his life.

Friday’s protest, organized by former Marine Jon Ritzheimer, was held outside the Islamic Community Center, a mosque attended by the two men who were killed by police after they attacked the Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas. The protest was peaceful, thanks in part to a heavy police presence, although it attracted a vocal counter-protest . . .

“They’re mad at us for exercising our First Amendment rights,” he said. “This is further proof that our First Amendment is under attack. This is tyranny right here. This is tyranny at its finest” . . .

“I’m having to sell my house. My family is in hiding right now,” he said. “I’m having to go into hiding after this because they’re calling for a ‘lone wolf’ to come and behead me. That’s following their book as it’s written … and that’s tyranny . . .

When asked if the event was worth the trouble, Ritzheimer paused for a moment before saying, “Let’s ask our Founding Fathers if it was worth it for them to sign the Declaration of Independence.” (Read more from “Phoenix Organizer Final Words: ‘I’m Going Into Hiding . . . Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque

Protesters clash outside Phoenix mosque rally

By ABC15.com. Hundreds of Valley residents gathered at the Islamic Community Center in Phoenix Friday night, some as part of a “Freedom of Speech” rally and others to tout the tolerance of all religions.

What started as a few supporters around 5 p.m., turned into hundreds by the protest start time at 6:15 p.m., with both sides passionately vocalizing their views and waving signs in the air.

As the two sides argued and yelled, dozens of police officers formed a line between them and kept them separated. There were no reports of injuries or arrests at the protest, which lasted a couple of hours and gained attention around the country on social media. Phoenix police estimated about 500 protesters showed up, roughly 250 on each side. (Read more about the Phoenix mosque Muhammad protest HERE)

Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque

By Louder With Crowder. Yesterday a biker rally was held outside of a mosque which included a Draw Muhammad contest. The event, organized by Jon Ritzheimer and Flash Nelson, has a Facebook page, and participants are encouraged to exercise their second amendment rights.

Despite the assurances that the protest will be both peaceful and lawful, the organizers are already receiving “credible threats.” John Ritzheimer posted late Thursday afternoon:

Credible threats being made and now having to move my family into hiding. Real nice Islam. Thank you for showing your true colors. I have not made any threats nor do I condone any threats. I’ve been preaching peace this whole time and once again Islam shows its lack of tolerance for others freedom. I will say that I think this cartoon contest is completely stupid, but this is all to show what Islam is about. The only one threatening with violence and that has a track record of it is them. Rally going on as planned.

Ritzheimer is a former United States Marine, and has not been deterred by the threats. Dang, son.

At the time of this posting, the event page shows 378 have RSVPd as attending, with another 125 listed as ‘maybe.’ That’s a bad sign. When dealing with Islam, there can be no maybe. You’re either in or out. Don’t half-ass it.

Fox 5 in Vegas quotes Riztheimer as saying that he “let [the mosque] know we’re coming to their doorstep and we’re going to be there utilizing our First Amendment; we’ll be ready to protect it with our Second Amendment.”

The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where the event will take place, is where the two dead gunmen who attacked the Garland event previously worshiped.

Jackass move? Maybe. But this is what freedom of speech means. This is absolutely protected, and it is undeniably courageous to stand up against the tyranny of violent threats and actions and say “this will not stand.” Tomorrow, we will see what happens when the event takes place. We pray for safety. But we demand success. It is our right as Americans.

I will personally host any of these bikers on my program, if they change their name to “Sons of Muhammad” or “Allah’s Angels.”

That’s not a joke. (See “Get Ready! Armed Biker Gang Drew Muhammad At Phoenix Mosque”, originally posted HERE)

VA Department Fires Phoenix Hospital Director

The head of the troubled Phoenix veterans’ hospital was fired Monday as the Veterans Affairs Department continued its crackdown on wrongdoing in the wake of a nationwide scandal over long wait times for veterans seeking medical care and falsified records covering up the delays.

Sharon Helman, director of the Phoenix VA Health Care System, was ousted nearly seven months after she and two high-ranking officials were placed on administrative leave amid an investigation into allegations that 40 veterans died while awaiting treatment at the hospital. Helman had led the giant Phoenix facility, which treats more than 80,000 veterans a year, since February 2012.

The Phoenix hospital was at the center of the wait-time scandal, which led to the ouster of former VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and a new, $16 billion law overhauling the labyrinthine veterans’ health care system.
VA Secretary Robert McDonald said Helman’s dismissal underscores the agency’s commitment to hold leaders accountable and ensure that veterans have access to high-quality, timely care.

An investigation by the VA’s office of inspector general found that workers at the Phoenix VA hospital falsified waiting lists while their supervisors looked the other way or even directed it, resulting in chronic delays for veterans seeking care. At least 40 patients died while awaiting appointments in Phoenix, the report said, but officials could not “conclusively assert” that delays in care caused the deaths.

About 1,700 veterans in need of care were “at risk of being lost or forgotten” after being kept off the official waiting list at the troubled Phoenix hospital, the IG’s office said.

Media ignores yet another press conference with Sheriff of one of largest counties in US

The lead investigator in Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s probe of Barack Obama’s eligibility for Arizona’s November presidential ballot is convinced he has “indisputable proof” the document presented by the White House as Obama’s birth certificate is fraudulent.

But after presenting his latest evidence at a press conference in Phoenix Tuesday, the gathered media wanted to talk about him, not the evidence.

“Obviously, the information we are bringing forth is becoming very difficult for them to refute,” Mike Zullo told WND in an interview after the event.

“What the media was trying to do was the Saul Alinsky tactic of discrediting the person that is bringing forth the information,” he said, referring to the 1960s Marxist activist whose book “Rules for Radicals” is a manual for left-wing activists.

The first question from the media referred to a short e-book Zullo wrote with WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi, who has assisted the Cold Case Posse in its investigation.
