Planned Parenthood to Help Administer Obamacare (+video)

Planned Parenthood is diving into a new area of education, not without its own controversy: Obamacare.

The group’s more than 750 health centers across the country will be promoting the health law and helping women find out about new coverage options for themselves and their families before — and after — enrollment begins Oct. 1. They’re creating everything from refrigerator magnets to online apps that help people enroll in a health plan. Some affiliates will be applying to become official government-funded “navigators” to give people more hands-on help through the signup process.

Planned Parenthood says its health centers see nearly 3 million patients a year, many of them using the clinics as their primary point of care. More than nine out 10 are under age 40. About half are uninsured.

So the group sees itself as uniquely placed to reach those women, helping them get covered and serving as messengers to their families and communities. To that end, it’s training clinic staff, printing posters and pamphlets and incorporating information about the law into its educational programs.

Delaware ‘Meat-Market’ Abortion Facility Back in Business

By Ben Johnson. Delaware public health officials have allowed a Planned Parenthood facility that two former nurses likened to a “meat-market” to reopen.

State officials allowed the Planned Parenthood office in Wilmington to go back into business after accepting the state chapter’s plan to correct the 14 health and safety violations inspectors found in April…

The state and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited the facility, and state Attorney General Beau Biden called its abortionist, Dr. Timothy Liveright, “a clear and immediate danger to the public”…

Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, who quit her job as a nurse in the office after 27 days, told Jill Stanek [that the clinic’s abortionist] Liveright would ogle, slap, or play peek-a-boo with his patients.

Planned Parenthood “House of Horrors” Clinic That Botched Five Abortions Reopens

By Steven Ertelt. A filthy Planned Parenthood abortion clinic that botched five abortions this year alone and was closed by state officials is reopening in Wilmington, Delaware.

As LifeNews has reported, the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic has experienced five botched abortion emergencies in less than five weeks. Since then, one abortionist and two employees have left Planned Parenthood in Wilmington, Delaware, as a result of the scandal.

The clinic was under the investigation of the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services and the Delaware Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline.

Former Planned Parenthood nurses Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich and Joyce Vasikonis told legslators recently of a “meat-market style of assembly-line abortions where the abortionist refused to wear gloves, surgical instruments were reused without being cleaned, and “bloody drainage” remained on abortion tables between procedures, exposing women to blood-borne diseases.”

“It was just unsafe. I can’t tell you how ridiculously unsafe it was,” said Mitchell-Werbrich. “Planned Parenthood needs to close its doors, it needs to be cleaned up, the staff needs to be trained.” Read more from this story HERE.

Girl Scouts Join Planned Parenthood at Huge Pro-Abortion Conference

Tell me who you hang out with and I’ll tell you who you are.

Anna Maria Chávez, CEO of Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA), offers this pithy saying as her favorite quote. In order to figure out who the Girl Scouts are, I suppose we must follow Ms. Chávez’ logic and look at the organizations that GSUSA associates with.

A good place to start would be the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). WAGGGS has member organizations across the globe, the largest of which is GSUSA, contributing approximately a quarter of the ten million members that belong to WAGGGS. GSUSA is a co-founder of WAGGGS and one of WAGGGS’ largest financial supporters, paying over $1 million each year in membership fees which are triggered by each girl and adult member’s annual GSUSA registration.

The global organization is a well-known advocate for sexual and reproductive rights, including abortion, for youth, and claims to speak for all of its 10 million members.

In May 2013, WAGGGS participated in Women Deliver, a global conference with the purpose of “call[ing] for action to improve the health and well-being of girls and women.”

IRS Told Pro-Life Group to Swear It Would Not Protest Planned Parenthood (+video)

Photo Credit: APSen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) said Tuesday that a pro-life group in Iowa was told by an IRS agent that its application would not be approved until the group’s board of directors swore it would not protest Planned Parenthood.

“This comes directly from Iowa, one of my constituents attempted to establish 501(c)(3) charity called Coalition for Life of Iowa. She told my staff that an IRS agent told her ‘Your application’s ready to go. However, it will not be approved until you send a letter signed by your entire board under penalty of perjury saying that you will not protest at Planned Parenthood,’” Grassley said at a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups.

Planned Parenthood's Children's Sex Ed Materials are 'Too Graphic' for New York Times

Photo Credit: DarlaMackThis week, both the New York Times and Washington Post rejected a full-page advertisement from American Life League as “too graphic” and “shocking” for their adult readers. What was too graphic? This full-page color advertisement showed images from actual Planned Parenthood sex-ed materials used for children as young as 10 years of age. ALL couldn’t agree more. The rejected [and graphic] ad can be seen HERE.

“The question we must ask is: Why is the Obama administration funneling $350 million to push this filth into classrooms while at the same time telling us we don’t have money for White House tours, TSA agents, or border security?” asked Judie Brown, president and cofounder of ALL. “Starting in kindergarten, funded with our tax dollars, PP uses graphic cartoons to saturate children with sexual imagery that encourages them to focus on sexuality, engage in sex, and accept dangerous aberrant sexual acts as perfectly normal. Parents’ tax dollars are being used to turn their own children into Planned Parenthood’s future sex customers.”

To raise public awareness about Planned Parenthood’s controversial sex education—-more accurately described as sexual indoctrination—-ALL planned a series of advertisements revealing what and how children are really taught in PP’S so-called “comprehensive sex education.” These are programs that are already in many schools and will reach all public schools as currently mandated in Obamacare.

The Washington Post rejected the advertisement simply saying that, without disguising the pictures, it was “too graphic.” The only images in the ad are from Planned Parenthood-endorsed sources. If they are too graphic for adults reading the Washington Post, then they certainly should not be in elementary school classrooms.

The President of the United States Asks God to Bless an Abortion Factory (+video)

And he lauded ’em. He praised their nearly 100 years of service to women. This makes me ill, by the way. That a president of the United States shows up at an abortion factory, essentially, and praises their work. You know what else he said? He said the opponents of abortion want to return to the 1950s…

To Planned Parenthood, every abortion is good, every pregnancy is a potential disease, every pregnancy is the result of male domination. Every abortion equals female freedom and emancipation. Every abortion equals women saying, “Screw you.” Barack Obama, who, as a senator in Illinois, actively, maybe more than any other legislation, supported the idea that a baby surviving a botched abortion should go ahead and be killed, because that was the original intention of the mother. And when we’re talking about the original intention of abortion, we should always be loyal to it. Now, the original intention of the Constitution, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. The Constitution’s a living, breathing document. The female body is not.

If the original intent is abortion. If the abortion doctor messes up, fine, bring another doctor in and complete the job. Obama actively supported such legislation. Kermit Gosnell.

Obama: ‘Planned Parenthood isn’t Going Anywhere’ (+video)

During a speech this morning at the Planned Parenthood gala, President Obama vowed he would never allow Republicans to cut taxpayer funds for the abortion provider.

“If there’s one thing the past few years have shown is that Planned Parenthood isn’t going anywhere,” Obama said as the crowd cheered. “It’s not going anywhere today, it’s not going anywhere tomorrow.”

Obama was wildly received by the audience when he entered the room – the first sitting president to address the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Obama Hammers New State Abortion Laws

President Obama slammed state abortion restrictions Friday in a speech to Planned Parenthood’s national conference.

Obama criticized efforts at the state and federal levels to cut off funding for Planned Parenthood and roll back access to abortion.

When abortion-rights supporters see some of the proposed restrictions, “you want to check the calendar, you want to make sure it’s still 2013,” Obama said.

Obama criticized Republican governors’ attempts to limit abortion access — a trend that has gathered steam over the past few years as conservatives shift from requirements like parental notification to laws that set increasingly early limits on when a woman can receive an abortion.

“There’s nothing conservative about the government injecting itself into decisions best made between a woman and her doctors,” Obama said.

911 Calls: California Planned Parenthood Injures Three Women in Abortions (+audio)

Photo Credit: YouTubeOperation Rescue has obtained recordings and Computer Aided Dispatch Transcripts for four 911 calls placed from a single Planned Parenthood in Orange, California, three of which were made on the same day seeking emergency transport for patients suffering complications from an abortion and one employee experiencing from chest pain.

The records raise additional questions concerning patient safety of Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics across the nation. Operation Rescue has documented 22 medical emergencies occurring at abortion clinics nationwide since January 1, 2013. This includes five medical emergencies at a Planned Parenthood in Wilmington, Delaware, which later fired its abortionist and closed down for “cleaning” after public outcry erupted.

“There simply is no such thing as a ‘safe and legal’ abortion clinic,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation. “Women are injured or killed, and babies die as a matter of course in our nation’s abortion clinics and we have yet to find one that obeys the law on all points. Health and safety violations are rampant at abortion clinics, and Planned Parenthood is certainly no exception.”

Baby Killers are Having a Good Week

President Obama continues to refuse to weigh in on the case of alleged serial killer abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell. Instead, he agreed to give the keynote address at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala dinner on Thursday night.

The White House realized Wednesday that the public outcry was too loud and made up an excuse why Mr. Obama couldn’t give the major address, but would do a smaller speech at a Friday breakfast. It is unheard of for a president to cancel a scheduled speech or event — especially with one day notice — unless in the case of a major domestic or international crisis. Spending extra times with the families of victims of the fertilizer factory in Waco, Texas does not fit those criteria.

Meanwhile in Philadelphia, Dr. Gosnell apparently thinks his case is a slam dunk. His lawyer rested the case Wednesday without putting a single witness on the stand to rebut the five weeks of testimony from the prosecution.

On Tuesday, Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart acquitted the abortion doctor of three of the first-degree murder charges, leaving the defendant facing four counts of first-degree murder for allegedly killing babies after they were born by cutting their spinal cords with scissors. He also faces a charge of third-degree murder for giving too much medication to a woman during an abortion at his clinic, according to the prosecution.

The president followed the lead of the liberal mainstream media by ignoring the Grosnell trial, in the hopes that the public would as well. Conservative outlets — particularly Fox News, which has been covering the case since 2011 — have been the only ones bringing the horrific details of the abortion clinic to the public. On April 15, Fox News’ Ed Henry was the first of the White House press corps to ask Press Secretary Jay Carney about the Gosnell trial. The spokesman would only say that the president is “aware” of it and “does not and cannot take a position on an ongoing trial.”
