Teacher Arrested on Charge of Recruiting Students to Be Prostitutes

High school students undoubtedly get a lot of crazy assignments these days, what with “Black Lives Matter” and “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” agendas running many districts.

But a case in Texas has documented a new extremity – a teacher accused of soliciting students to be prostitutes for her pimp son.

It is the New York Post that reports the high school teacher was arrested “on child sex-trafficking charges,” for allegedly offering runaway students “a place to stay and then forcing them into prostitution.”

The report cited details from Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez in explaining cosmetology teacher Kedria Grigsby, 42, worked at Klein Cain High and was taken into custody on multiple charges.

“She was working with her 21-year-old son, Roger Magee, to build a ‘prostitution enterprise,’ according to prosecutors,” the report documented. (Read more from “Teacher Arrested on Charge of Recruiting Students to Be Prostitutes” HERE)

Democrat Who Raised Money by Selling Sex Acts Could Be Charged With Prostitution, Lawyers Say

Susanna Gibson, a candidate for the Virginia statehouse who solicited money from people online for her to perform sex acts on video with her husband, may have violated Virginia’s prostitution law, two attorneys in the state told The Daily Wire.

Virginia law states that “any person who, for money or its equivalent … engages in sexual intercourse” or other sexual acts with another person “is guilty of prostitution, which is punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor.”

Shawn M. Cline, a former prosecutor and defense attorney in Virginia Beach who represents people charged with sex crimes, said in his view it’s a “chargeable offense.”

“The statute is very clear, you cannot for money or its equivalent perform sex acts,” Cline told The Daily Wire. “It doesn’t matter who’s paying for the act, if it’s an observer or the recipient. You can’t receive money.” (Read more from “Democrat Who Raised Money by Selling Sex Acts Could Be Charged With Prostitution, Lawyers Say” HERE)

New England Patriots Owner Charged With Soliciting Prostitution, Kraft Not the ‘Biggest Name Involved’

By Fox News. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Friday was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution at a Florida spa — and cops say there’s video.

Kraft, 77, is accused of paying for sexual acts at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, located about 90 miles north of Miami. His name was among more than a dozen who were charged.

Police said they have Kraft, and others, on video receiving the sexual acts and that he participated in prostitution in Florida two separate times.

The spa had been shut down after a months-long investigation revealed women were participating in “sexual servitude,” TC Palm reported, citing arrest records. Nine other spas in Orlando, Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast had also been shut down as part of the investigation. . .

“We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity,” a Patriots spokesperson said in a statement. “Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.” (Read more from “New England Patriots Owner Charged With Soliciting Prostitution, Kraft Not the ‘Biggest Name Involved'” HERE)

‘Robert Kraft Not the Biggest Name Involved’ in Florida Prostitution Case, ESPN’s Schefter Reports

By Daily Wire. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Friday that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is “not the biggest name involved” in a prostitution case in South Florida. . .

Following the news about Kraft, Schefter reported on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” that Kraft is supposedly not the biggest name involved.

“There are people down there in that area I’m told who say this story is going to heat up and get a lot worse,” Schefter reported. “I don’t mean involving Robert Kraft, I’m talking about with all the human trafficking that has gone on down there, I’m also told that Robert Kraft is not the biggest name involved down there in South Florida, and we will see what police turn up in the report.”

“We got 25 names today, there are 175 more names coming,” Schefter later said. “Now some will just be regular people whose names we don’t know. But there could be other names that we do know, and that’s how it was explained to me.”

Schefter concluded by saying, “I was speaking and texting with someone who lives down there, and they told me it’s going to get a lot worse down there, that there will be other people involved, that everyone down there is very nervous right now, that there are people being arrested that are prominent members of society down there.”

‘A Day Without a Woman’ Organizers Call Prostitution ‘Women’s Work’

I’ve tried, really I have, but I just can’t register anything but exasperation and disgust at these instructions for the International Women’s Strike, aka, A Day Without a Woman, being planned for March 8th. This is ridiculous.

How to organize and participate in the International Women’s Strike on March 8

The strike is inclusive of all women and of all forms of work women do: women working in the formal labor market with or without labor rights, with or without unions and the legal right to strike, and with or without legal status; unemployed women; sex workers; women performing unpaid housework and care work; and students. For this reason, participation in the strike can take several forms:

1. Wherever it is possible, help the creation of a large women’s strike social coalition. Check for information about local organizing on our website: www.womenstrikeus.org. If there is no meeting yet for your town, help call one!

2. Organize or participate in local marches, demonstrations and walkouts.

3. Organize or participate in picket lines and direct actions of civil disobedience. This can also be organized in support of already existing campaigns or labor negotiations or controversies, especially if involving working women.

4. Organize a strike in your workplace. If you have a union, get your union on board; if you don’t, assess with your coworkers whether it is possible to organize a walkout without jeopardizing your job.

5. Organize a boycott of companies using sexism in their advertisements or approach to workers.

6. Organize a boycott of chosen local misogynists.

7. If you can, leave care and housework for the day and join your local demonstrations.

8. In case you can’t stop work, get your friends together who support the strike and wear or use the color red that day, for example, red clothes, or a red ribbon.

9. Strike from gender roles.

Please tell me I’m not the only person who did a double-take. I still can’t believe I’m reading that correctly. “Sex workers.” “All forms of work women do.” Apparently prostitution is women’s work. And in order to teach these misogynists a thing or two, “sex workers” should go on strike for a day and see how well those ungrateful jerks get along without them. Then come March 9th, it’s back to “work”?

For All Those “Unpaid Houseworkers”

I suppose I find myself included in their list under, “women performing unpaid housework and care work.” I guess taking care of my children at home would be “care work.” And I don’t receive a paycheck for keeping the house clean, so that must be unpaid housework.

I guess I’m supposed to declare the couch and the television mine for the day and refuse to lift a finger for my family. No cooking, no changing diapers (sorry, baby, but a strike is a strike. Change your own poopy diaper). Not a dish will I wash, nor a towel will I fold, nor a meal will I prepare for those selfish, blood-sucking leeches who take from me all day long without so much as kissing my feet or prostrating themselves in homage.

The indignity! I am Woman!

I’m sorry if that sounds a bit over the top, but this “worship me because I’m a woman” routine really grates on the nerves. It’s especially tone-deaf coming from a leftist mob that is willing to call a man in a dress a woman just because he says he’s a woman and got himself some breast implants. Yeah, you don’t get to lecture anyone on the value of women’s contributions to society when you can’t even correctly identify a woman.

Then There’s the So-Called “Sex Work”

Looking at #5 and #6 on the list up there, I have to ask: Isn’t “sex work” rather sexist? Misogynist, even? How exactly does prostitution display a deep respect for women? How does “sex work” combat misogyny?

When you boycott all those local misogynists, will that include the pimps and the strip joints? What do you think your one-day boycott is going to accomplish? You’re on record saying that sex is legitimate work for a woman. So how can you complain about those misogynists who take you at your word?

And by the way, a lot of those “sex workers” could be minor girls who “work” for folks who traffick them from place to place whether they like it or not, so you be sure to let them know they should go on strike for a day from their “work.” Trafficking, what am I saying? I meant business trips.

Who are all the other “local misogynists” in your crosshairs? Probably anyone who still believes that men and women, while equal in dignity, are indeed quite different by design, and that’s a good thing. Certainly anyone who refuses to think that equality for women requires championing the slaughter of babies in the womb. And certainly anyone who still thinks a woman is, by definition, biologically female.

Striking From “Gender Roles”

How exactly are we supposed to “strike from gender roles,” anyway? Why on earth should I need to strike from the roles uniquely afforded to me precisely because I am a woman? And what’s wrong with being a woman? I don’t want to be a man!

Also, does this striking from “gender roles” mean the “sex worker” gets to play the pimp for the day?

You cannot scream about the irreplaceable value of women while disdaining the very things only women can do, then legitimize the sexual exploitation of women. Women and girls for sale is not “work.”

Join Me in Striking This Strike

This is one woman who won’t be going on strike. The only thing I’m motivated to protest these days is insane leftist nonsense like this.

I refuse to take my cue from anyone who considers prostitution “a form of work women do,” yet has no idea whatsoever what it means to be a homemaker. All that “unpaid housework and care work.”

On the contrary, on March 8th and every day, I’ll be grateful for my vocation as a wife and mother; happy to keep my home clean, and my family fed and cared for. It’s my honor to serve my family. And when my husband comes home from a hard day at work, I’ll be especially grateful I didn’t have to live a day without a man — my man. I already know he’s grateful not to have to live a day without a woman — me. (For more from the author of “‘A Day Without a Woman’ Organizers Call Prostitution ‘Women’s Work'” please click HERE)

Senator: Probe of Secret Service Prostitution Scandal Raises Doubts about IG’s Independence

A Republican senator is raising questions about whether there was “improper contact” between the former general counsel and the acting inspector general of the Department of Homeland Security in its review of the Secret Service’s 2012 prostitution scandal.

Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, ranking Republican on the Senate Homeland Security subcommittee on contracting oversight, said at a hearing last week that “troubling aspects” of the review conducted by Homeland Security’s acting Inspector General Charles Edwards have led to questions about the IG’s independence.

Government sources familiar with a bipartisan investigation of Mr. Edwards conducted by Mr. Johnson and Sen. Claire McCaskill, Missouri Democrat and chairwoman of the subcommittee, say that Ms. McCaskill is steering clear of the matter, and that the Obama administration refuses to cooperate with the probe.

Mr. Johnson’s remarks came during a confirmation hearing for a nominee to replace John Sandweg, former general counsel at Homeland Security and a close ally of former Secretary Janet A. Napolitano, who appointed Mr. Sandweg as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement this summer.

“I’m concerned because I think we’ve seen what I would believe is improper contact between the inspector general and the general counsel’s office of Homeland Security,” Mr. Johnson said. “I’m trying to figure out what that wall of separation really ought to be to maintain the independence of the inspector general.”

Vitter Seeks Ethics Investigation of Reid, Boxer Over Prostitution Amendment

Sen. David Vitter is pushing back against a legislative proposal that alludes to his prior connection to a prostitution scandal.

In a letter to the Senate Ethics Committee, the Louisiana Republican seeks an investigation of Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Ethics Chairwoman Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., contending that the offices of the two senators are running afoul of the rules with “attempted bribery.”

Politico reported that Senate Democrats have drafted an amendment to pending energy efficiency legislation that would keep lawmakers from getting employer contributions for their federal health benefits in the new health exchanges under Obamacare if there is “probable cause” that the lawmaker solicited prostitutes.

Vitter has admitted to a “serious sin” but did not fully admit to being a client of Deborah Jeane Palfrey, better known as the “D.C. Madam.” His phone number, however, did show up in the investigation of Palfrey. Because the alleged solicitation took place before Vitter arrived in the Senate, the Ethics Committee dismissed a complaint against him back in 2008.

The draft legislation appears to be in response to Vitter’s quest to secure a vote on an amendment to unrelated energy efficiency legislation over government employer contributions to members of Congress in the new health exchanges.

105 Children Lured into Prostitution are Rescued by FBI in Biggest Ever Bust of its Type in U.S. History – 150 Pimps in 76 Cities Who ‘Tortured’ Girls as Young as 13 are Arrested (+video)

Photo Credit: FBI.govThe FBI rescued 105 teenagers over the weekend who were forced into prostitution in the largest child sex trafficking sting in U.S. history, which encompassed 76 cities, the agency said Monday.

The youngest child rescued was 13 years old, the FBI said.

The raids resulted in the arrests of 150 ‘pimps’ involved in the sexual exploitation of both adults and children, said Ronald Hosko, assistant director of the FBI’s criminal investigative division.

The FBI said 60 percent of the children rescued were in foster care or group homes when they ran away.

‘With no way to survive on their own they are lured into a life of being trafficked for sex,’ Hosko said.

Whistle-Blower Who Disclosed Prostitution, Drug Use by State Department Has Kids Threatened, Seeks Congressional Protection (+video)

Photo Credit: Frederic J. Brown, AFP/Getty Images

A State Department whistle-blower says she was threatened after turning over documents to a U.S. senator that alleged coverups of investigations into employee use of drugs and prostitutes, her lawyer says.

The whistle-blower’s allegations have led lawmakers on Capitol Hill to look into whether the State Department squelched investigations into criminal behavior by employees, including an ambassador who allegedly propositioned prostitutes in a Belgian city park…

The allegations were revealed after Aurelia Fedenisn, a former investigator at the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General, complained to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, that senior State Department officials interfered with investigations she was involved in, and then caused a report about the interference to be watered down.

Dallas lawyer Damon Mathias, who represents Fedenisn, said Fedenisn hired him after two diplomatic security agents spoke in a threatening manner to her teenage children at her home in a Virginia suburb of Washington. The agents arrived at the home to talk to Fedenisn about documents Fedenisn had given to Cruz and told the teens that they demanded to speak to their mom immediately, Mathias said…

The New York Post identified that ambassador as Howard Gutman, a bundler who raised $500,000 for President Obama’s 2008 campaign. Gutman issued a statement Tuesday calling the allegations “baseless.”
