Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has just tossed his hat into the 2024 ring. He will officially take on Joe Biden in the upcoming Democrat primary, if Joe lasts that long. . .

However, that won’t deter Kennedy. His declaration speech went on for nearly 2 hours. Jokingly, Robert said after being censored for 18 long years, he’s got a lot to talk about. He then warned the political establishment to look out. . .

“If it looks like I can raise the money and mobilize enough people to win, I’ll jump in the race,” Kennedy Jr. wrote in a tweet. “If I run, my top priority will be to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedoms. Together we can restore America’s democracy.”

Mr. Kennedy may have a tough road ahead of him, but one thing working in is favor is that Democrats want Biden to face challengers.

RFK Jr.’s ‘Disgusted’ Family Unlikely to Support His Bid for President

With his just-declared bid for the US presidency, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sees himself at the forefront of “a new revolution to resurrect American democracy” — but the anti-vaccination crusader will likely have his work cut out for him in convincing Democrats and even members of his own family to vote for him in 2024.

“Most of the Kennedys are disgusted with his attitude,” said Kennedy family biographer Laurence Leamer, referring to Robert’s recent anti-vaccination activism. “They still care about him, but he’s an embarrassment.”

Robert, 69, filed paperwork to run for president with the Federal Election Commission last week.

He plans to formally announce his bid to take on President Biden in a Democratic primary at a hotel in Boston on April 19, according to his Team Kennedy campaign. (Biden told the “Today” show Monday that “I plan on running” in 2024.)

The environmental lawyer and author has earned the disapproval of many of his Kennedy relatives for his controversial views on vaccines and his attacks on former White House medical chief Anthony Fauci, as well as his embrace of his father’s convicted assassin, Sirhan Sirhan. By The Independent. . .Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of assassinated presidential candidate Robert Kenedy and nephew of John F Kennedy, has filed to run for president in 2024 as a Democrat.

Mr Kennedy, 69, filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission after announcing last month he was considering a run against Joe Biden, according to RawStory.

His late father was a former New York senator, US attorney general and 1968 presidential candidate, who was shot and killed by Sirhan Sirhan in Los Angeles in June 1968. . .

Mr Kennedy Jr, who leveraged his ties to the political family dynasty to lend his anti-vaccine campaign credibility and to draw fundraisers, recently published The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, in which he accuses the nation’s medical chief of launching “a historic coup d’etat against Western democracy”. Kennedy Jr. is a longtime vaccine skeptic. He has promoted discredited claims linking vaccines and autism and founded the anti-vaccine organization Children’s Health Defense. He has also railed against the coronavirus vaccine and has criticized the federal government’s handling of the pandemic. . .

Kennedy had tweeted last month that he was considering a presidential run.
