‘Hannity Vanity!’ MAGA Fans Melt Down Over Fox News Host’s Behavior in New Trump Interview

. . .Hannity, usually a favorite among conservatives, was chided up and down on social media Thursday.

MAGA influencer @catturd2 posted , “Hannity loves to hear himself talk. Pathetic,” in response to a regional Trump campaign official’s complaint, “Why can’t Hannity just hush and stop interrupting? This character flaw aggravates me so much. Let @POTUS speak man!!!”

A poster described as a ” communications professional ” wrote, “Yeah, there’s a difference between being a talk show host on the radio where you’re the only person in the room and the role of an interviewer. He hasn’t figured that out yet. Kind of a shame given the access he has.”

Yet another poster wrote , “Hannity Vanity – That’s my President.. Let him speak.”

Hannity interrupted Trump several times to change the topic to the economy — an issue pundits agreed helped Trump win the election. But Trump wasn’t having it, causing Hannity to keep interrupting.

Hannity Digs up Dirt on Mueller’s Past and Finds He’s Not So Clean After All

Fox News host Sean Hannity devoted time on his Tuesday show to examining the past of special counsel Robert Mueller and his findings were intriguing.

Hannity referred to a report from Fox News’ Sarah Carter citing Mueller’s career as a prosecutor in the 1980s. When Mueller was serving as assistant U.S. attorney, four men were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for a crime they did not commit and the special counsel was in charge of the case when it happened.

“Robert Mueller’s career has been anything but impeccable,” Hannity said. “One of the worst stains on his record comes from his time Boston, where he served as assistant U.S. attorney and acting U.S. attorney in the ’80s. During this time notorious Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger, he was actively engaged by the FBI as an informant. The relationship between Bulger and the bureau was wrought with nothing but corruption and criminal collusion.”

“Bulger’s FBI handler, guy by the name of John Connolly covered up for many of the horrific crimes that were committed by Bulger and his associates, including one instance where four men were wrongfully framed and convicted and imprisoned for decades — all for a murder it turns out they did not commit,” Hannity continued. “The men were ultimately exonerated. A judge awarded $101 million in damages, but not before two of the men actually died in prison. Robert Mueller was the U.S. attorney in charge while these men were rotting in prison while certain agents in the FBI under Mueller covered up the truth.” (Read more from “Hannity Digs up Dirt on Mueller’s Past and Finds He’s Not So Clean After All” HERE)

The GOP Is a ‘Dead’ Party

By The Hill. Fox News host Sean Hannity railed against the Republican Party on Monday night, citing its failure to repeal and replace ObamaCare and referring to it as a “dead party.”

During an interview on SiriusXM 125, Hannity blasted the Republican Party, saying they never had any intention of repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

“Here’s my view on the Republican Party,” Hannity said to “Breitbart News Tonight” special edition host Stephen Bannon, President Trump’s former White House strategist.

“It is a dead party. They are morally corrupt, they are weak. … They are ineffective, they’re vision-less, and they have no identity,” he said.

Hannity said he doesn’t believe he’s ever changed politically, but he said he thinks the Republican Party left him. (Read more from “The GOP Is a ‘Dead’ Party” HERE)

GOP Sen. Jeff Flake Writes Check to Democrat Opposing Roy Moore

By Ashley Killough. Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who’s been adamantly opposed to Republican Alabama Senate hopeful Roy Moore, posted a photo Tuesday of a check with his signature on it that was addressed to Moore’s Democratic rival, Doug Jones.

Flake’s Twitter account posted the image of the $100 check along with the caption, “Country over Party.”

The Arizona Republican, who has announced he’s not running for re-election, attended a meeting with President Donald Trump and other Republican senators at the White House earlier Tuesday, where he was seated next to the President despite his widely-known disdain for Trump. Hannity Promises ‘Insane, Vicious’ Scoop on Media Matters

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin brought Fox News’ Sean Hannity on his radio show Tuesday evening, giving his conservative-media colleague the opportunity to provide his side and perspective on the Left’s efforts to pressure advertisers from deserting his Fox News program.

A suspected coordinated left-wing campaign has been initiated by the likes of Media Matters and BuzzFeed to target Hannity’s advertisers, ostensibly to take him off the air. Hannity said the conservative response to the boycott campaign was “overwhelming,” as advertisers like USAA and others have been convinced to reverse their initial decision to pull advertisements from Hannity’s cable news program.

“I’m so appreciative, humbled, thankful … If we don’t fight back, they’re going to pick all of us off,” the Fox News and talk radio host told Levin. “This is about silencing conservatives.”

Hannity encouraged listeners to go to MediaEqualizer.com to fight back against the leftist campaign to silence conservative voices. Further, he promised an equally devastating scoop and damning evidence with regard to Media Matters President Angelo Carusone, the organization’s finances, and “things said and done” by members of the left-wing organization.

“While we prefer not to be involved in this type of effort, we need to be on equal footing. We will continue to announce the advertisers that finance these efforts and support these hosts who allow lies and conspiracy theories to permeate the airwaves.

“If Media Matters ceases these type of assaults, we will do the same. Until then, we will list every advertiser that supports hosts like Rachel Maddow, an outright liar, and someone who deceives the public and defames conservatives on a daily basis,” the Media Equalizer website states.

“Fight fire with fire,” Hannity said. “This liberal fascism has to stop.”

Don’t Fall for This Bullcrap Vacation Story About Sean Hannity

The latest bit of fake news smearing Sean Hannity comes from The Philadelphia Inquirer, which implied Hannity is taking an abrupt vacation after advertisers began pulling their ads from his Fox News program.

“Sean Hannity is taking a couple days off amid a growing advertiser boycott after pushing a conspiracy theory involving a slain Democratic National Committee staffer,” Rob Tornoe reported under the headline “Fox News host Sean Hannity takes abrupt vacation after losing more advertisers.” He compared Hannity’s vacation to former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s retreat to Italy before the cancellation of “The O’Reilly Factor.” The implication is that Sean Hannity could be the next to leave Fox.

Erick Erickson, writing for The Resurgent, says this story is “Bulls—t.

This story is patently false and I know so first hand. Why?

Because my radio show starts right after Sean’s show on WSB in Atlanta. On May 18th, my boss asked me to put on schedule for today and tomorrow to start my show at 3pm ET. Why? Because Hannity would be out for Memorial Day vacation with his family and they’d like me on locally instead of his guest hosts due to Atlanta traffic issues. Hannity’s television vacation days are always in conjunction with his radio vacation days.

Hannity’s vacation has been planned for weeks. It has nothing to do with the onslaught of leftist attacks on his show and his advertisers.

The Philadelphia Inquirer story was updated at 10:15 PM Thursday night and the headline was changed to “Fox News host Sean Hannity takes a vacation after losing more advertisers.” There is no editor’s note to explain the correction.

The left would love to expunge dissenting voices from TV, if it could. Sean Hannity won’t be the last to come under attack. (For more from the author of “Don’t Fall for This Bullcrap Vacation Story About Sean Hannity” please click HERE)

Sean Hannity Puts Claims of Plagiarism Against Melania Trump Into Perspective

During her Monday appearance at the Republican National Convention, Melania Trump was hailed for delivering an excellent speech in both content and tone.

Shortly after, however, critics began piecing together evidence which they claim is proof Trump plagiarized a speech delivered by Michelle Obama during the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

In particular, critics pointed to two lines in the speech where both Obama and Trump call for hard work, honesty, and treating people with respect.

While some similarities certainly do exist, many have rebuffed these concerns, pointing out the generic words and subject matter used by Trump are insufficient to allege plagiarism.

Ironically, it has also been pointed out that plagiarism is not exactly uncommon in politics, with Democrats engaging in the activity from time to time as well.

Taking to Facebook, Fox News host Sean Hannity posted an informational meme which describes numerous instance of plagiarism from several high ranking Democratic figures, including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Vice President Joe Biden.

Even more ironic is the allegation that Michelle Obama plagiarized in the very speech Melania Trump has been accused of taking from, yet the media reaction has mostly been inconsistent.

In the case of Trump, the debacle has been talked about frequently by media pundits — spanning from late Monday evening all the way through Tuesday — and is unlikely to die down any time soon.

On the other hand, there was little to no outrage against Obama for her own supposed use of plagiarism.

While it is not yet clear whether these allegations will negatively impact the Trump campaign, Republicans have already begun calling on the media to focus on issues of substance. Cruz, Hannity Spar Over Delegates [+video]

12986871745_dd2ce9af53_bBy Ian Hanchett. GOP presidential candidate Texas Senator Sen. Ted Cruz and talk radio and Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity engaged in a testy exchange over the delegate process on Hannity’s radio show on Tuesday.

Hannity began the interview by asking, “I think the number one question on the minds of Republicans right now is what is going on with the delegates. For example, if you can explain to people that your campaign, that you have every right, within the rules, to talk to candidates, that are pledged on a first ballot, to candidate A or candidate C, you being candidate B. And that — tell us what that process is.”

Cruz answered that isn’t what people are concerned about, and are instead concerned about policy issues and beating Democratic candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Cruz further stated that “the media loves to obsess about process. This process, and this whining from the Trump campaign is all silly. It’s very, very simple –.”

Hannity then cut in to say, “I’m on social media, with millions of people. I have 550 radio stations. And I have the top-rated cable in my hour, all across the board. And I am telling you, that people are telling me, that they find this whole process confusing.” He further stated that this wasn’t a “process question. It’s an integrity of the election question. And everybody’s asking me this question. So, I want — I’m giving you an opportunity to explain it.”

Cruz responded, “Sean, the only people asking this question, are the hardcore Donald Trump supporters.” Hannity again cut in to ask, “Senator, why do you this? Every single time you…you’ve got to stop. Every time I have you on the air, and I ask a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face. I’m getting sick of it. I’ve had you on more than any other candidate, on radio and TV. So, if I ask you, Senator, a legitimate question to explain to the audience, why don’t you just answer it?” (Read more from “Cruz, Hannity Spar Over Delegates” HERE)

Cruz Slams Trump: Campaign Seems Incapable of ‘Running a Lemonade Stand’

By Hannity.com Staff. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is dismissing charges from the Trump campaign that his recent delegate victories in states like Colorado and Wyoming are a result of an unfair and arcane primary system. In a interview on The Sean Hannity Show, Cruz accused the Trump campaign pushing a narrative that claims that the primary system is rigged . . .

Cruz credited his grassroots support with his recent string of successes. He also explained that Trump’s loss is not a result of skulduggery on the part of his campaign, but on a lack of organizational skill from Trump’s.

“Donald Trump’s campaign does not know how to organize on the grassroots, and so when the delegates are elected the real conservative activists show up, they elect delegates and we are winning those elections over and over and over again,” Senator Cruz explained to Sean. “I cannot help that the Donald Trump campaign does not seem capable of running a lemonade stand.” (Read more from “Cruz Slams Trump: Campaign Seems Incapable of ‘Running a Lemonade Stand'” HERE)

Sean Hannity Unloads on Rubio, Reveals the Real Reason He’s Running for President

Sean Hannity repeatedly ripped into Marco Rubio on his Fox News program Wednesday night, attacking the Florida senator for recent attacks on Donald Trump and saying his rhetoric was “beyond the pale” of acceptance in a presidential primary.

Hannity, who wrote in August that he would not point out “deficiencies” in any of the Republican candidates, said that someone “probably promised” Rubio “a lot of money” to take Trump on.

“That’s not the real Marco,” he repeatedly insisted.

Hannity’s chief contention was that Rubio’s criticism of Trump over his Ku Klux Klan flap was not fair and that his jokes about the billionaire had gone too far.

Throughout his program, Hannity hosted a panel of guests who shared his point of view. The general theme: attack Rubio, defend Trump.

In a radio interview last week, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) made some disparaging comments about pro-life conservatives, stating they had “no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

Those remarks drew the ire of conservative talk show host Sean Hannity, who on his Monday radio program declared he had enough and was abandoning his home state, where he hosts his widely syndicated radio show and his high-rated Fox News Channel television program.
