Dana Carvey Makes a Brilliant, Doddering Joe Biden on ‘Saturday Night Live’ Premiere (VIDEO)

For the first time ever, “Live from New York, it’s ‘Saturday Night’!” made me tear up a little. . .

[I]t was a big and brilliant move to bring back “SNL” legend Carvey as a doddering President Joe Biden. I squealed when he took the stage.

After so many lame attempts to capture the essence of the cuckoo prez — Jason Sudeikis, Woody Harrelson, Jim Carrey, Mikey Day — the excellent Carvey finally batted it out of the park.

“A lot of people forget I’m president,” he said next to Rudolph’s Kamala Harris. “Including me!” . . .

He confusedly wandered offstage, creepily sniffed Kamala’s hair and inexplicably whispered “The. Rich. Don’t. Pay. Their. Fair. Share.”

Watch: Dan Crenshaw Graciously Accepts SNL Apology, Then Roasts Him Before Making a Call for Unity

Newly elected Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) appeared on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and graciously accepted an apology from Pete Davidson, whose classless mocking of Crenshaw last week drew national outrage.

“You may be surprised to hear that he’s a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie,” Davidson said last week, which exploded on social media. “I’m sorry. I know he lost his eye in war or whatever.”

On Saturday, Crenshaw made a surprise appearance on SNL where he accepted an apology from Davidson, roasted him, and then made a final call for unity.

“In what I’m sure was a huge shock for people who know me, I made a poor choice last week,” Davidson said before Crenshaw appeared on set. “I made a joke about Lieutenant Commander Dan Crenshaw, and on behalf of the show and myself, I apologize.”

“I mean this from the bottom of my heart. It was a poor choice of words. The man is a war hero and he deserves all of the respect in the world,” Davidson continued. “And if any good came of this, maybe it was that for one day the left and the right finally came together to agree on something: that I’m a dick.”

Former Navy SEAL Who Was the Target of a Disgusting SNL ‘Joke’ Responds With Pure Class

Decorated war veteran and Texas congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw was used as part of a disgusting Saturday Night Live skit where “comedian” Pete Davidson talked about Crenshaw’s eye patch. The worst part of the entire thing? Crenshaw lost his eye when an IED went off during a tour in Afghanistan. . .

Crenshaw finally chimed in and what he had to say was perfection:

Crenshaw is right. Our men and women who write blank checks with their lives deserve to be treated with the utmost respect. Making fun of a man who lost an eye while serving his country is not only disgusting but it’s unAmerican.
