Avenatti Docs Leak: Got $8 Million out of Thin Air When Stormy Arrived

Lawyer and/or media gadabout Michael Avenatti has thus far provided a great deal of the comic relief in l’affaire Stormy Daniels, but there are a surprising number of serious questions about him that remain unanswered. . .

In spite of the fact that Avenatti’s appearances on cable news seem more frequent than takeoffs at LaGuardia, we don’t have any answers to these questions — nor indeed does anyone on CNN or MSNBC feel particularly inclined to ask them. They just assume that it’s none of their business and move along their merry way.

As humorously Biff Tanner-like as that terse statement may be, there are several problems with it. First, while he’s busy banging journalists’ heads against the wall so that they’ll read what he had to say, he probably should instruct his own client to read it, since her own statements in the matter directly contradict this. And second, it doesn’t explain why he seems to have come into $8 million as the Daniels case began to explode earlier this year . . .

Barnes looked up some tax information on Avenatti’s law firm and found he hadn’t paid any taxes for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, even though filings in a bankruptcy court said that during that period the firm earned a whopping $30 million.

“In January 2018, (Michael Avenatti) got an unidentified source of income that allowed him to pay $4.85M to his law firm employees he defrauded, close to $2M in back taxes for payroll taxes on his law firm, and near another $1M to other creditors,” Barnes tweeted.

Porn Star Makes Damaging Allegations Against Stormy Daniels

By Daily Wire. On Monday, a newly-released report from The Daily Beast outlined damaging allegations made by porn star Tasha Reign, who claims that Stormy Daniels did nothing when Reign was sexually assaulted by one of Daniels’ crew members.

The context of the interview was in relation to an interview Daniels gave in April on ABC’s “The View.” The Daily Beast reports:

During the interview, Daniels claimed that, shortly after she first told her story to In Touch magazine back in 2011, a man approached her in a Las Vegas parking lot and threatened her life, urging her to “leave Trump alone” and “forget the story.” The duo then released a composite sketch of the purported parking-lot assailant, with Daniels explaining that she didn’t go to the authorities seven years ago because she both feared for her safety and, as a newly-minted mother, didn’t want her husband at the time to learn about the supposed Trump tryst. She did, however, concede that, “I always feel like you should stand up for yourself and you should report it.”

Tasha Reign: I Was Assaulted on a Stormy Daniels Porn Set. and She Did Nothing.

By The Daily Beast. On the other side of the country in sunny Los Angeles, Tasha Reign was tuning in to Daniels’ sit-down and couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“It’s very upsetting to see her speak like that and then I think, but I know the real you,” says Reign. “I was there. I saw what you did.” . . .

“It’s tricky…” she says, her voice cracking with emotion, “because I don’t even like Stormy. I don’t like her at all.”

Reign says she has a “horrible story” to tell me about herself and Daniels.

“I was sexually assaulted by one of her crewmembers. He groped and grabbed me from behind,” she says, wiping away tears. “I spoke up immediately because I was in the moment, and I was so proud of myself. She was the director that day, I went straight to her and straight to the man that did it, we had a conversation about it, I went to the owner of Wicked Pictures, I did all the right things. And she did not handle the situation appropriately, respectfully, or professionally. So it’s a little bit outrageous when I hear her say things about how she is standing up for women and wants to be a voice for other women to be able to come forward when I was assaulted on her set and she didn’t give me any care or attention, and didn’t even send that man home.” (Read more from “Tasha Reign: I Was Assaulted on a Stormy Daniels Porn Set. and She Did Nothing.” HERE)

Who is Behind Stormy Daniel’s Lawyer? Questionable Past Emerges With Investigation, Such as Disbarment, Questions over Funding, Finances

By The Daily Caller. Much of the developments surrounding Stormy Daniels’ lawsuit again President Donald Trump have focused on the business dealings of attorney Michael Cohen, but an investigation by The Daily Caller News Foundation reveals that Daniels’ counsel, Michael Avenatti, has his own questionable history.

Avenatti’s past is littered with lawsuits, jilted business partners and bankruptcy filings. People who have worked with the lawyer described him to TheDCNF as ruthless, greedy and unbothered by ethical questions.

Dillanos Coffee CEO David Morris claimed last Tuesday that Avenatti never paid him for over $160,000 worth of coffee that Dillanos supplied to Avenatti’s company. “So @StormyDaniels hot shot lawyer Michael owes my small company @Dillanos $160,179 for coffee,” Morris wrote on Twitter. “He talks a big talk about integrity. We trusted him.”

“Michael Avenatti owned Tully’s coffee. They were a large chain of coffee shops. We are a wholesale roaster. We supplied his coffee. The $160,000 represented only a few weeks worth of beans. We cut him off when he wouldn’t pay, he had to close,” Morris explained in a subsequent tweet.

The Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday interviewed Avenatti over the phone on several topics including Morris’s accusations, which Avenatti denied. “I don’t owe Dillanos coffee anything. I personally don’t owe them anything,” he said. “So that’s nonsense.” (Read more from “With Avenatti in the Spotlight, His Own Questionable past Emerges” HERE)

Michael Avenatti Tweets, Then Deletes, Fox News Booker’s Phone Number

By The Hill. Michael Avenatti inadvertently tweeted out a Fox News booker’s phone number on Saturday, as he sought to hit back at the network’s Tucker Carlson for an on-air rebuke.

The tweet from Stormy Daniels’s attorney came after Carlson claimed on the Friday night taping of his show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” that Avenatti had refused to appear on the program.

“We invited the creepy porn lawyer onto this show,” Carlson said. “We called his office — or what he said was his office. It may have been a booth at a Wendy’s in Passaic, maybe a White Castle — you never know. In any case, he turned us down flat. Too bad.”

That prompted a response from Avenatti on Saturday, who tweeted out a screenshot of an email exchange with Fox News booker Kelly McNally, according to the Observer. (Read more from “Michael Avenatti Tweets, Then Deletes, Fox News Booker’s Phone Number” HERE)

Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Faces Disbarment Complaint, Questions over Funding, Finances

By The Blaze. Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti is finding himself on the hot seat over a disbarment complaint and questions about who is funding him and how he obtained bank records for Trump attorney Michael Cohen, ZeroHedge reported . . .

According to the report: “Questions have emerged over who’s funding Avenatti, how he was privy to Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s bank records – and how exactly did he obtain banking transactions for two men also named Michael Cohen, who he wrongly accused in a seven-page ‘dossier’released this week.” . . .

Other questions have come to light over a bankrupt coffee chain Avenatti allegedly left with $5 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS, dozens of filed in connection with the failed venture, and $160,000 allegedly owed to a coffee vendor.

The legal complaint seeking Avenatti’s disbarment alleges that he “bought a company out of bankruptcy and then used it for a ‘pump and dump’ scheme to deprive federal and state taxing authorities of millions of dollars,” which left over $5 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS,” according to the report. Clinton Insider Asks Question About Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer the Media Refuses to Ask

By The Daily Wire. In an op-ed for The Hill, Mark Penn — who served as a pollster and adviser for Bill Clinton from 1995 to 2000 and a chief strategist for Hillary’s 2008 campaign — asks a question that most mainstream media outlets don’t seem interested in asking: “So exactly who is paying Michael Avenatti?”

Penn follows his should-be obvious question with the natural follow-up: Is Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, who has become the nemesis of Donald Trump’s embattled personal lawyer Michael Cohen, “a lawyer, an opposition researcher, a journalist, or a campaign operative?”

Avenatti, Penn notes, wants to keep the discussion focused on Cohen and where he got his money, but if Avenatti wants to keep things on the up and up, he needs to tell us who is paying for his services because his porn star client has made clear that she most definitely is not. He also needs to reveal his sources for the confidential banking information about Cohen he revealed to all the world in a memo this week, and tell us if he is “solely representing Stormy Daniels or just using her as cover to wage a political operation.”

“From the beginning, this has been fishy,” writes Penn. “Daniels’s previous lawyer advised her to stick to her agreements. In contrast, Avenatti okayed her violating with impunity her non-disclosure agreement on ’60 Minutes’ despite a binding arbitration judgment against her. She acknowledged on Twitter that she is not paying for her lawyer. So who is? And did he indemnify her against all multimillion-dollar penalties?” (Read more from “Clinton Insider Asks Question About Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer the Media Refuses to Ask” HERE)

Who Is Paying Michael Avenatti?

By The Hill. . .It took a long time and even a court battle to find out that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for the Fusion GPS dossier, a fact that was disclosed only after the damage was done, as former British spy and the dossier’s compiler, Christopher Steele, had already created a vast echo chamber as though the material he was peddling had been verified in some way, which of course, it never was. Now Avenatti is being allowed to repeat this same process, mixing truths with half truths and evading accountability.

This week, Avenatti released to the media a report detailing consulting payments to Cohen, and much of it, despite a few errors, has been verified. AT&T, Novartis and a real estate firm acknowledge having hired the president’s personal attorney for insights on the incoming administration. Mueller appears to have investigated all of this months ago, and it is highly unlikely that the theory Avenatti is pounding away at — that Russians paid for Daniels — holds any water or Robert Mueller would not have passed the investigation on to U.S. attorneys in New York. Russia, actually, is the special counsel’s bailiwick.

It seems that everyone has his or her own theory about where the Daniels payment came from. Rudy Giuliani says it came out the president’s monthly retainer. Cohen said he paid for it. Avenatti speculates it comes from a real estate company that he alleges had ties, of course, to Russia. The Wall Street Journal published an article suggesting that Cohen and his family in 2015 and early 2016 were so prescient that he would need money for Trump women that he and his wife were refinancing their homes to build up cash for this purpose, possibly defrauding the banks.

More relevant, perhaps, is the New York Times story that Cohen had invested heavily in New York City taxi medallions and, thanks to Uber, those medallions were losing as much as 80 percent of their value and cash flow. There is a much more logical explanation for Cohen needing cash in that these investments were going south, and he needed funds to shore them up or face foreclosure. Stormy Daniels Involved with Nxivm?

By The Daily Dot. . .After Daniels did a photo shoot with Penthouse, a question posed on Twitter by the magazine became a hotbed of conspiracies.

NXIVM began as a multi-level marketing scheme that has been accused of devolving into a cult. It made headlines the past two months when its founder, Keith Raniere, was arrested on sex trafficking charges. Former members say Rainere kept women as slaves, branding them and forcing them to have sex. (Read more from “New Conspiracy Claims Stormy Daniels Is Part of Elite Sex Cult” HERE)

Stormy Daniels’ Tweet an Admission?

By Red Pill. Stormy Daniels has just been found to have been potentially involved in a cult invitation as per her own admission, and we have the exclusive archive to prove it.

Using her own Twitter account, Stormy Daniels tweeted “I think I am about to be initiated into a gang….or maybe it’s a cult. Lol,” back on February 18th of 2010, at 11:01 PM.

In case Stormy Daniels decides to delete the tweet, here’s an archive of it:

New Claims Stormy Daniels Is Part of Elite Sex Cult

By Infowars. Users on social media spotted what they suspect could be a NXIVM branding scar on porn star Stormy Daniels.

Pictures of Daniels circulated message boards and social media, with particular emphasis on the groin area of her body which shows what appears to be a raised “K” shape scar among a flower tattoo piece.

Daniels hit back against the claims, confirming the mark is indeed a scar but that it came from surgery.

“1. I’m a model NOT a client. 2. You are a f*cking psycho. There are literally thousands of pics/video of me nude to disprove your terrible photoshopped conspiracy theory,” she tweeted on Tuesday, adding that it’s a “tattoo covering a surgery scar.” (Read more from “Stormy Daniels Involved with Nxivm?” HERE)

Stormy’s Lawyer Reveals Legal Strategy and Even the CNN Employees Were Stunned

By Bizpac Review. . .[Michael] Avenatti just revealed there is apparently a strategy behind his prolific media appearances, though his admission seemed only to earn him a new round of mockery.

The attorney representing the adult film actress has made television appearances part of his legal strategy, convinced it will ultimately lead to a win in the court case against President Trump.

“You tweeted that you are just getting started,” CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Avenatti Tuesday. “Is that hyperbole, do you have more information, and if so, why not just release it now?”

“Look, if anybody’s been paying attention for the last 8 or 9 weeks they know that there’s not a lot of hyperbole,” Avenatti replied. “We make a lot of statements but we back them up and then some.”

“I have to tell you this — I’m going to touch on this, okay?” Avenatti added. “There’s been a lot of criticism lately…about how our media strategy, and how often I’m on CNN and how often I’ve been on your show.” (Read more from “Stormy’s Lawyer Reveals Legal Strategy and Even the CNN Employees Were Stunned” HERE)

Daniels’ Lawyer: Cohen Got $500k from Russian Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg

By NBC News. Stormy Daniels’ attorney claimed Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen received $500,000 from a company controlled by a Russian oligarch, deposited into an account for a company also used to pay off the adult film actress.

Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, also detailed other transactions he said were suspicious, including deposits from drug giant Novartis, the state-run Korea Aerospace Industries, and AT&T.

Novartis confirmed it had paid Cohen’s company, Essential Consultants, and said Special Counsel Robert Mueller had inquired about the arrangement in November. AT&T also confirmed it paid Cohen’s company, for “insights” into the Trump administration.

Avenatti’s claims, made in a dossier posted to Twitter, could suggest a new dimension to the federal investigation into Cohen. NBC News has reviewed financial documents that appear to support Avenatti’s account of the transactions.

Fitting: Take One Guess Where Stormy Daniels Is Donating Her $130,000 NDA Money

By The Daily Wire. The Stormy Daniels media circus thus far includes a porn star, the POTUS, alleged adultery, threats, sex, and serious scandal. And now, fittingly, we can add unholy abortion to the mix.

Sources at Penthouse magazine have told The Daily Beast that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will donate the $130,000 she received as part of her nondisclosure agreement to abortion mill Planned Parenthood in Donald Trump and Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s names.

Cohen reportedly paid Daniels the cash out of his own personal funds as part of the NDA regarding her alleged affair with a married Trump in 2006. President Trump has denied the affair and any knowledge of the NDA or the payoff.

The porn star who leveraged her newfound fame into a strip show dubbed the “Make America Horny Again” tour will grace Penthouse magazine for an in-depth, multi-day interview and a nude photo spread for the May 8 issue.

“Penthouse Pet of the Century,” the headline will read, according to The Daily Beast, and the subheading will say, “Getting Intimate with the Most Wanted Woman in America.” (Read more from “Fitting: Take One Guess Where Stormy Daniels Is Donating Her $130,000 NDA Money” HERE)

Stormy Daniels Releases Sketch of Man Who Allegedly Threatened Her over Trump Affair

By CNN. Stormy Daniels released a composite sketch on Tuesday of the man she alleges threatened her in 2011 and is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can identify the perpetrator.

The disclosure of the drawing and the announcement of the monetary reward on ABC’s “The View” mark yet another theatrical twist in the dramatic public feud between the porn star and President Donald Trump. Daniels alleges that she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 and that she signed a secret agreement just days before the 2016 election in exchange for the promise to stay quiet about the alleged affair. She is now suing Trump in the hopes of voiding that agreement. . .

Daniels, recounting the alleged 2011 incident on “The View,” said that what she remembers “so clearly about him was that nothing looked alarming about the way he looked at first.”

At the top of the sketch, it states that the man is between 5’9″ and 6′ tall, between his 30s and early 40s, and with a lean but “fit” body type. (Read more from “Stormy Daniels Releases Sketch of Man Who Allegedly Threatened Her over Trump Affair” HERE)

WATCH: Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Appears on Megyn Kelly. She Wipes the Floor With Him.

In a contentious and entertaining interview on her morning show Wednesday, Megyn Kelly challenged Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, to defend his client’s rationale for claiming the non-disclosure agreement she signed with Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen in 2016 for $130,000 has “suddenly become invalid.”

“So you represent her, claiming that this agreement is invalid, you say it’s not valid, but she abided by it for 16 months without objection and cashed the $130,000 check that the [future] president’s lawyer gave to her,” she began (video below). “So when did it suddenly become invalid?”

Avenatti responded by claiming that Daniels “had understood during that 16-month time period that [Trump] had actually signed it. She was not provided with a copy of the agreement, but it was her understanding that the [future] president had signed the agreement and that he was upholding his obligations under the agreement.”

Kelly fired back: “His obligation in principle was to pay her $130,000, and that happened.”

“Well not exactly,” said Avenatti. Trump was also obliged to provide “a release of any claims” and to “stay away from her and her family” and “not to comment about her” or allow his agents to comment about her. “And, of course, Mr. Cohen broke that by responding to a report in the Wall Street Journal.” (Read more from “WATCH: Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Appears on Megyn Kelly. Porn Stars Spill the Goods on Stormy Daniels Allegations

. . .I reached out to porn stars Jesse Jane and Courtney Cummz to get their take on the situation, and the way people are reacting to the most powerful man on the planet allegedly having sex with a porn star years ago. [Jesse Jane:]

Having an affair or relations with any woman is still just that, an affair. It shouldn’t make a difference if she’s in porn or not. People in the industry are people too, we are no different than any other person, we just have different jobs. What is funny is that we are the cleanest people you can sleep with and actually don’t sleep around like a lot of civilians do. I laugh at the people who judge us because they’re the ones getting drunk at bars having one night stands with strangers and catching STDs, not us. So with that said, he is wrong for having affair and that’s it. It being with a porn star shouldn’t matter! It only matters now because it adds more “scandal” because it’s the president.

Courtney Cummz, who does the Between the Cleats radio show, told me in a statement:

I think President Trump has excellent taste. His wife is beautiful and so is Stormy. If I recall, Bill Clinton is known for banging anything that moves. If Bill comes to your house, I bet the goldfish stop swimming. I guess it depends on what your definition of “is” is.

If everyone’s dirty little secrets came out, you would be surprised how many rich and powerful people have sexual relations with porn stars. Most are good girls and they do not spill the beans. I never kiss & tell! Most in the media and the news spinners have double standards. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
