Peaceful ICE Arrest Of 650 Aliens In West Virginia Proves Dems Are Manufacturing Chaos In Minnesota

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just arrested nearly 700 illegal aliens in West Virginia with the help of local law enforcement, showing the stark contrast between state and local police supporting immigration enforcement and the Democrat-run catastrophe in Minnesota.

ICE announced Friday that it arrested 650 illegals, including those who allegedly engaged in child sex abuse, drug possession, endangering the welfare of children, and other offenses.

Teams from ICE Philadelphia performed the operation, deploying to six cities in West Virginia to arrest “hundreds of illegal aliens who present dangers to national security and risks to public safety, as well as those who entered the United States illegally or have otherwise undermined the integrity of U.S. immigration laws and border control efforts,” the press release states.

“When state and local law enforcement work with ICE, immigration enforcement is seamless — it all takes place behind closed doors between law enforcement professionals, and that’s why the public never hears about it,” ICE Director Todd M. Lyons told The Federalist. “On the other hand, when law enforcement agencies refuse to turn over public safety threats, it forces ICE to arrest criminal illegal aliens in public. These arrests are going to happen regardless, so for state and local police, it makes more sense to keep the public safe and conserve resources by working with us instead of against us.”

ICE utilized 287(g) partnerships, which allow the federal agency to delegate immigration enforcement to state and local authorities, under ICE supervision and training. That allows local police to identify and help remove illegals. (Read more from “Peaceful ICE Arrest Of 650 Aliens In West Virginia Proves Dems Are Manufacturing Chaos In Minnesota” HERE)

Holocaust Museum Condemns Gov. Tim Walz’s Comments Comparing Minnesota Children to Anne Frank: ‘Deeply Offensive’

The U.S. Holocaust Museum shared a statement in reaction to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz comparing the experience of children in Minnesota to that of Holocaust victim Anne Frank.

Walz, 61, made the comparison in a press conference held on Sunday, Jan. 25, following the fatal shooting of ICU nurse Alex Pretti by federal officers.

“We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside. Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank,” Walz said towards the end of the press conference. “Somebody’s going to write that children’s story about Minnesota.”

Anne Frank died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp at age 15 after spending two years in hiding, one of six million Jews murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust.

“Anne Frank was targeted and murdered solely because she was Jewish,” the museum wrote in a statement shared on X on Monday, Jan. 26. “Leaders making false equivalencies to her experience for political purposes is never acceptable. Despite tensions in Minneapolis, exploiting the Holocaust is deeply offensive, especially as antisemitism surges.”

Justice Dept. to Interrogate Tim Walz, Four Other Top Minnesota Democrats

The Department of Justice has subpoenaed five top Democrats in Minnesota to question them on the legality of their opposition to the federal enforcement of immigration law.

The New York Times reported:

Federal prosecutors issued subpoenas on Tuesday to at least five Democratic officials in Minnesota, ramping up the Justice Department’s investigation into their response to the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration crackdown in the state, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The subpoenas sought documents from Gov. Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis and Mayor Kaohly Her of St. Paul related to their policies on immigration enforcement efforts in the state. Two Minnesota prosecutors, Keith Ellison, the state attorney general, and Mary Moriarty, the Hennepin County attorney, were also sent similar subpoenas.

The investigation is supercharged by the Democrats’ behind-the-scenes support for the mobs that harass federal enforcement officers and pro-enforcement demonstrations.

“You’ve got to get rid of sanctuary cities,” President Donald Trump told reporters at a Tuesday press conference. (Read more from “Justice Dept. to Interrogate Tim Walz, Four Other Top Minnesota Democrats” HERE)

DOJ Reportedly Investigating Tim Walz, Jacob Frey Over Impeding ICE

The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, according to a report from the Washington Post and other outlets.

The fight follows Immigration and Customs Enforcement fatally shooting a woman last week who was blocking the road after she accelerated an SUV into an officer. This week, Walz called on President Donald Trump to remove thousands of immigration officials from the state.

“So tonight, let me say one again to Donald Trump and Kristi Noem: End this occupation. You’ve done enough,” Walz said.

This week, riots broke out in Minneapolis that vandalized ICE vehicles and one man broke into a government vehicle and stole a weapon.

President Donald Trump has slammed Walz for allegedly allowing up to $9 billion of fraud within the state’s 14 social benefit programs. (Read more from “DOJ Reportedly Investigating Tim Walz, Jacob Frey Over Impeding ICE” HERE)

Trump Stands by Calling Tim Walz ‘Retarded’: ‘There’s Something Wrong with Him’

President Donald Trump on Sunday stood by his comments Thursday in which he called Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), the 2024 Democrat vice presidential nominee, “retarded.”

Aboard Air Force One, en route from Palm Beach to Washington, DC, a reporter asked Trump if he stood by slamming Walz as “retarded” in a Thanksgiving Truth Social post.

“Yeah, I think there’s something wrong with him,” Trump said. “Do you have a problem with it?”

“I think there’s something wrong with him … Anybody that would allow those people into a state and pay billions of dollars out to Somalia. We gave billions of dollars to Somalia — it’s not even a country because it doesn’t function like a country. It’s got a name, but it doesn’t function like a country. Yeah, there’s something wrong with Walz,” he added.

Trump said in his post on Thanksgiving that the country’s “refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America, something that did not exist after World War II,” before he bashed Walz.

Trump Rages Over ‘Seriously Retarded Governor’ Tim Walz in Furious Thanksgiving Message

President Trump ripped Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as “seriously retarded” — and suggested Rep. Ilhan Omar “probably came into the USA illegally” — in a rage-filled Thanksgiving message about immigration.

Trump, 79, hurled the insult as he accused Walz, who had been Kamala Harris’ running mate in her failed presidential election bid, of allowing an influx of hundreds of thousands of Somali migrants to take over his “once great state.”

“Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for ‘prey’ as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone,” he wrote in the blistering late-night Truth Social post.

“The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both.”

Trump also zeroed in on Minnesota progressive Omar, describing her as the “worst ‘Congressman/woman’ in our country” who is “always wrapped in her swaddling hijab.” (Read more from “Trump Rages Over ‘Seriously Retarded Governor’ Tim Walz in Furious Thanksgiving Message” HERE)

Report: Walz Denied Catholic Schools’ Security Funding Despite $17 Billion Surplus

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) declined requests from Catholic leaders for small-scale security funding for nonpublic schools, despite a record $17.6 billion budget surplus and the approval of similar grants for public schools, according to a report by the National Catholic Register.

The Minnesota Catholic Conference — which represents the state’s six dioceses — sent letters to Walz in both 2022 and 2023 requesting that Catholic and other nonpublic schools be included in state-funded school security programs. The group cited ongoing concerns over school shootings, referencing the March 2023 Covenant School massacre in Nashville, where six people were killed by Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old who identified as transgender.

“There are approximately 72,000 students enrolled in Independent, Catholic, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim nonpublic schools in our state,” the Catholic Conference wrote in a 2023 letter. “The exclusion of one sector of schools … is a discriminatory act against our students.”

The organization asked Walz to expand eligibility for the proposed $50 million Building and Cyber Security Grant Program, which was included in his budget recommendation but applied only to public schools. Since 2020, nonpublic schools have lobbied to join Minnesota’s Safe Schools Program, which provides state aid for emergency response training, security upgrades, mental health services, and other resources. Currently, the program does not cover nonpublic schools, charter schools, or intermediate school districts.

The Catholic Conference also noted that in 2022, when a bill to provide $44 per student in security aid to all schools stalled, Minnesota’s bishops urged Walz to call a special session to approve the expansion. Despite bipartisan support in the legislature — including from several members of Walz’s own Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party — no special session was called.

Meanwhile, in 2023 Walz approved state funding for a “trans refuge” law designed to protect individuals seeking gender-related medical treatments in Minnesota, according to advocacy group OutFront Minnesota.

Quadruple Axe Murderer To Be Freed From Prison Under Tim Walz Law

A man who axed his parents, brother and sister to death in Minnesota when he was 16 is set for supervised release under a juvenile sentencing law signed by Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

David Brom, now 53, is scheduled to move to a halfway house for a work release program on July 29 after receiving four murder convictions and three life sentences for the 1988 killings in Rochester, according to multiple reports and prison records. Walz abolished life sentences without the possibility of early release for juvenile offenders in 2023, prompting criticism from more tough-on-crime Republicans now that Brom is set to reenter the community.

“We must prioritize public safety over leniency for violent criminals,” Republican Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth said in a statement posted on X Thursday by Minnesota House Republicans. “The legislature must act to ensure that our laws reflect the seriousness of such unimaginable crimes.”

Walz’s office did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation. The governor and failed vice presidential candidate passed the sentencing law authored by Democrats in May 2023, allowing possible early release for convicts who committed crimes while they were minors after serving 15 years of their sentences. The juvenile policy initially had some support across party lines, but it became part of an omnibus legislative package that no Republicans voted for. Tim Walz Refuses to Apologize for Calling Federal Agents Nazis

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the almost-Vice-President of the United States of America, repeatedly refused during a Thursday congressional hearing to apologize for comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo.

“Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets,” Waltz said in a commencement speech at the University of Minnesota’s law school last month. “They’re in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons.”

On Thursday, Walz testified in a House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform hearing alongside Governors Kathy Hochul of New York and J.B. Pritzker of Illinois. Lawmakers grilled the governors about cases of violent criminal illegal aliens allowed to “roam free” in their states. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn, highlighted how Walz signed several omnibus bills into law in 2023, granting illegal aliens “free healthcare, free college, and driver’s licenses.”

Multiple lawmakers specifically pressed Walz on his commencement speech remarks.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., asked Walz a series of yes-or-no questions about the Holocaust and the historical German Gestapo, including whether Walz knew that they “committed genocide against the Jews.” (Read more from “Tim Walz Refuses to Apologize for Calling Federal Agents Nazis” HERE)

Tim Walz Likens Taking on Trump to a Playground Showdown

Failed vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz over the weekend served up a schoolyard political strategy for his fellow Democrats – be “a little meaner” and stand up to “bully” President Donald Trump.

Walz was the Saturday keynote speaker at a Democratic Party state convention in Columbia, South Carolina, where he said it was time to turn the tables on the Republican president.

“Maybe it’s time for us to be a little meaner, a little bit more fierce, because we have to ferociously push back on this,” Walz told his audience in a speech posted on YouTube by Forbes and other outlets.

Walz was responding to accusations of being “mean” in his recent criticism of Trump administration officials, including billionaire Elon Musk, who headed DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) aimed at trimming wasteful spending.

Musk recently returned to running Tesla and his other companies which include, SpaceX, Starlink and the social media platform, X. (Read more from “Tim Walz Likens Taking on Trump to a Playground Showdown” HERE)
