X Sues Global Advertising Giants for Coordinating ‘Illegal’ Boycott Designed to Punish Free Speech

X is suing a cabal of some of the world’s largest advertising giants for organizing an allegedly illegal boycott to prevent advertisers from spending their money with companies that openly advocate for free speech.

Section 1 of the Sherman Act explicitly prohibits organizations from conspiracy against commerce or “restraint of trade.” X’s antitrust lawsuit, which was filed in a Texas court on Tuesday, aims to punish Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) and several of its members, including CVS Health, Mars, Ørsted, Unilever, and the World Federation of Advertisers, for trying to suppress online free speech by unfairly targeting some of the biggest promoters of the First Amendment.

“No small group of people should be able to monopolize what gets monetized,” X CEO Linda Yaccarino said in a video detailing the case.

The lawsuit, which video streaming company Rumble also joined, comes on the heels of a House Judiciary Committee report alleging GARM likely violated federal antitrust laws by colluding with giant ad buyer GroupM to coordinate the demonization of news websites, platforms, and podcasts it deemed guilty of wrongthink. X Ramps up Efforts to Eradicate Child Sexual Abuse Material

X, formerly Twitter, is ramping up its efforts to eradicate child sexual abuse material on its platform by evaluating all uploaded videos and GIFs, according to a Thursday press release.

The social media platform, owned by Elon Musk, reaffirmed its commitment to removing the illegal content and provided an update on its progress.

“Last year we made clear that our #1 priority was tackling child sexual exploitation (CSE) online. At X, we have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation, and we are determined to make X inhospitable for actors who seek to exploit minors in any way,” X’s press release stated.

The social media site reported that it has significantly increased the number of reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and permanently suspended more than 11 million accounts from January to November 2023. It noted that in 2022, before Musk’s takeover, Twitter only suspended 2.3 million accounts accused of CSE violations.

“In the first half of 2023, X sent a total of 430,000 reports to the NCMEC CyberTipline. In all of 2022, Twitter sent over 98,000 reports,” X stated. (Read more from “X Ramps up Efforts to Eradicate Child Sexual Abuse Material” HERE)

Elon Musk Tells Joe Rogan That Twitter ‘Suppressed’ Republicans ‘At 10 Times the Rate of Democrats’

Tech mogul Elon Musk said Twitter “suppressed” Republicans at a significantly higher rate than Democrats during an interview with podcast host Joe Rogan.

Musk purchased Twitter, which he later renamed X, for $44 billion in October 2022 with the intent of reinstating free speech on the platform and publicly criticized the suppression of the New York Post’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop. Conservatives widely praised Musk’s takeover after a series of suspensions and bans of right-leaning figures.

“The degree to which Twitter was simply an arm of the government was not well understood by the public,” Musk said. “And it was whatever, everything was like Pravda basically, a state publication, is the way to think of old Twitter. A state publication.”

“There was basically oppression of any views that, even I would say, be considered middle-of-the-road. But certainly, anything on the right, and I’m not talking about far-right, I’m just talking mildly right. Republicans were suppressed at 10 times the rate of Democrats. That’s because old Twitter was fundamentally controlled by the far-left. It was, like, completely controlled by the far-left.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Tells Joe Rogan That Twitter ‘Suppressed’ Republicans ‘At 10 Times the Rate of Democrats’” HERE)

Biden Team Live-Tweets GOP Debate Even as Corporate Media Says He’s Not Paying Attention to It

President Joe Biden’s official Twitter account commented on the GOP debate Wednesday despite reports saying he was not paying attention to the event.

Biden re-posted a tweet from his campaign that had a clip of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida criticizing former President Donald Trump for not attending Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate that aired on Fox Business Network. The Associated Press reported that Biden turned his attention to Trump at a series of fundraisers where he claimed Trump and his supporters were “determined to destroy American democracy.” . . .

Trump holds a 42.2% lead over DeSantis among Republican primary voters in the Real Clear Politics average of polls from September 14 though September 26, drawing 56.6% of the vote, compared to 14.4% for the Florida governor. Elon Musk’s X Sues State Over Alleged First Amendment Violations

Elon Musk’s X Corp. sued California to block a law requiring social media companies to publish their content moderation policies, alleging it violates the First Amendment and coerces censorship.

X, formerly known as Twitter, asserted that California’s Assembly Bill 587 infringes upon its freedom of speech under the First Amendment and California’s state constitution, according to court documents. The law mandates social media companies release reports on how they moderate issues including hate speech, extremism, disinformation and misinformation.

However, the law would have “both the purpose and likely effect of pressuring companies such as X Corp. to remove, demonetize, or deprioritize constitutionally-protected speech that the State deems undesirable or harmful, and places an unjustified and undue burden on social media companies such as X Corp.,” the complaint states. Trump Fires off First Tweet in Over 2 Years Since Jan. 6 Capitol Riot, Complete With His Mug Shot: ‘Never Surrender!’

Former President Donald Trump circulated his own mug shot on Thursday night in his first post to X, formerly known as Twitter, since two days after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

Along with the booking photo, taken hours earlier at an Atlanta jail, Trump, 77, included a link to his 2024 presidential campaign website.

Below the mug shot, read “Election interference,” and “Never surrender!”

Despite the slogan, Trump did in fact surrender to authorities at the Fulton County Jail, where he was booked on charges related to his attempts to reverse the 2020 election results in Georgia.

He made history by becoming the first US president to have his mug shot taken.

KJP’s Twitter Account Apparently Posts Tweet Meant for Joe Biden

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s Twitter account apparently posted a tweet Tuesday that was meant to come from President Joe Biden.

The press secretary’s account reportedly posted a tweet about “investing in all of America” and referred to running for president, according to screenshots posted by several accounts. The tweet has since been deleted. . .

Biden traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday to give a speech on the economic policy that his administration labels “Bidenomics.” During the speech, the president said he and his wife will travel to Maui, Hawaii “as soon” as they can, but did not specify a date as wildfires that have killed at least 96 people continue to devastate the country. Leaked Photos Show Obamas Were ‘Rage-Tweeting’ About ‘Oppression’ After the SCOTUS Affirmative Action Ruling While on Board a Mega-Luxury Yacht

Former US President Barack Obama and actor Tom Hanks have recently been spotted enjoying a lavish vacation in Greece alongside their families when his wife was tweeting about “oppression,” RadarOnline.com has learned.

The group was seen dining at a glamorous waterfront restaurant on the island of Sifnos earlier this month. Obama’s wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, were also present for the meal.

Witnesses told the Daily Mail that the party arrived at the restaurant by dinghy, having come from a luxury yacht that was docked nearby. An anonymous onlooker described the group’s presence as overwhelming, mentioning the excessive security measures that surrounded them.

The timing of the Obamas’ vacation has raised eyebrows, as it coincided with their public comments on the recent Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action.

Michelle took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the decision, while Barack echoed his wife’s sentiments about “fairness” regarding oppressed groups in America. Their tweets sparked controversy, as it was revealed that they were posted while the Obamas were enjoying their luxurious yacht trip in Greece. Elon Musk Backs Joe Rogan’s Challenge for COVID-19 Scientist to Debate Vaccines With RFK Jr.

Twitter owner Elon Musk threw his support Saturday behind comedian Joe Rogan’s challenge for COVID-19 scientist Peter Hotez to debate vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Musk accused Hotez of being “afraid of public debate, because he knows he’s wrong” when Rogan doubled down on his debate proposal. Hotez, a professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, first responded to Rogan’s request without providing a definitive answer on whether he would debate Kennedy.

Rogan initially offered Hotez $100,000 to the charity of his choice to debate Kennedy after the scientist shared a Vice News article criticizing Rogan’s June 15 podcast episode with Kennedy. Hotez replied by telling Rogan, “you have my cell, my email, I’m always willing to speak with you.”

Hotez responded to Musk’s comment by calling him “monstrous” and defending his stance on vaccines. Musk clarified he is pro-vaccine but allegedly suffered side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine. Nonetheless, Musk said he believes Hotez should debate Kennedy.

CIA Roasted Over Pride Month Post

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was roasted by social media users after it posted a Pride Month tribute on Twitter.

In a tweet Thursday, the CIA said Pride Month is a time to recognize the agency’s “rich history” of “LGBTQ+ officers” and their work. . .

The tweet prompted immediate ridicule from social media users. Some commenters asked whether the post was real, attempting to make sure it was not from a CIA parody account.
