DEI Official at UCLA School of Medicine Massively Plagiarized Her Dissertation on DEI

Recent headlines about UCLA School of Medicine suggest that the institution has lost its focus. Instead of brushing up on organic chemistry, its students were subjected to lessons on “Indigenous womxn” and “two-spirits.” Future doctors had to take a class on “structural racism” and were led in a “Free Palestine” chant by a Hamas-praising guest speaker. The school made plans to segregate students by race for courses on left-wing ideology, and two of its psychiatry residents championed “revolutionary suicide.”

Why has the school charted this course? One reason is its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion ideology. UCLA has a DEI program called “Cultural North Star,” and at the medical school, it is led by Natalie J. Perry. Her official biography says her job is to “embed our aspirational Cultural North Stars [sic] value [sic] in our organizational DNA.” UCLA honored Perry last month for teaching students to “do what’s right,” saying her “empathy and radical listening” are to thank for her “success as an educator and a leader.”

According to a Daily Wire and City Journal investigation, however, Perry’s academic career is based on fraud. Perry has published a single paper, a 2014 Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Virginia about how colleges should create larger DEI programs. An analysis of the paper found it ridden with the worst sort of plagiarism, reproducing large swaths of text directly from several other authors, without citations. The scale of the plagiarism suggests that Perry lacks both ethics and competence and raises questions about academic programs that push DEI.

Perry’s dissertation lifted passages from ten other papers. In key portions of her text, she copied almost every paragraph from other sources without attribution. She fails even to mention at least four of the ten plagiarized papers anywhere in her dissertation. Professor Blasts ‘Woke Takeover of Higher Education,’ Reveals Why He Finally Quit

University of California Los Angeles anthropology professor Joseph Manson revealed that he is leaving academia due to the “Woke takeover of higher education.”

A blog post from Manson, who decided to retire at the age of 62, details the ways in which “militant” faculty members are upending the university, even causing a decline in academic standards. He characterized UCLA’s anthropology department as “unusually peaceful” and “intellectually inclusive” until the late 2000s, when “militant faculty recruited even more extremely militant graduate students to work with them.”

Manson detailed the “public torment and humiliation” of colleague Professor Jeffrey Brantingham, who created predictive software that could aid law enforcement in preventing urban crime. A resolution passed by the school’s Anthropology Graduate Students Association condemned the work as furthering the “criminalization of Blackness in the United States,” as well as reinforcing “the racial capitalist and imperialist projects” dominant across the world. As a result, Brantingham became the target of activism from colleagues and students for years.

“This document contains no trace of scholarly argument, but instead resembles a religious proclamation of anathema,” Manson observed. “As you won’t be surprised to hear, Jeff is not a racist, but a standard-issue liberal Democrat.”

Manson said that several colleagues admitted to him that Brantingham was treated unfairly, though they refrained from saying so publicly due to “fear of the Woke faction.” Among other clues to the pervasive fear, Manson noted that all faculty members except for himself voted to drop the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) — an admissions test used by many American graduate schools — despite its usefulness in determining students’ qualifications, due to the possibility of being “regarded as racists.” (Read more from “Professor Blasts ‘Woke Takeover of Higher Education,’ Reveals Why He Finally Quit” HERE)

COMPLETE DEPRAVITY: UCLA Professor Dies in ‘Mummification’ Ritual at Hollywood Executive’s Home

By Fox News. A California university professor died during a bondage session at the home of a Hollywood executive that went horribly wrong.

Doran George, 48, was found dead inside the home of Skip Chasey, an executive for Hollywood’s William Morris Endeavor agency and known in the BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance and Submission) community as “Master Skip,” on Nov. 19, 2017.

George, who was born Duncan Gilbert and did not use gendered pronouns, had been wrapped “head to toe in plastic wrap and gaffer’s tape, with small breathing holes at the nose and mouth,” according to an autopsy report obtained late last week by Variety.

“The decedent’s partner observed that the decedent was not reacting properly,” the report states. “The partner checked the decedent closer and realized that the decedent was not breathing. The partner called 911 and began cutting off the plastic and tape.”

George, who had a 16-year relationship with a man named Barry Shils that allowed for sexual activity outside their partnership, had become a regular playmate of Chasey’s over the course of seven months preceeding his death. WME Learns of Bondage Death at Exec’s Home

By Variety. . .Chasey is well known in the leather and BDSM community as “Master Skip,” according to various websites and profiles. According to the coroner’s report, Gilbert was wrapped “head to toe in plastic wrap and gaffer’s tape, with small breathing holes at the nose and mouth.”

“The decedent’s partner observed that the decedent was not reacting properly,” the report states. “The partner checked the decedent closer and realized that the decedent was not breathing. The partner called 911 and began cutting off the plastic and tape.”

Paramedics arrived and found Gilbert lying on the floor in cardiac arrest. They were unable to revive him.

The coroner’s office was unable to determine the cause of the death. Chasey has not been accused of wrongdoing, and detectives are not pursuing allegations against him.

Chasey’s attorney, John Duran, said the two were participating in a consensual activity. He also noted that the coroner did not conclude that the wrapping was the cause of Gilbert’s death. (Read more from “WME Learns of Bondage Death at Exec’s Home” HERE)

Professor Exposes UCLA’s ‘Dirty Tricks’ Against Conservatives

Keith Fink, a former communications professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, recently revealed the “dirty tricks” that he says UCLA uses to silence conservatives on campus.

In a detailed presentation to the Bruin Republicans last week, the professor revealed several unique details surrounding his June termination and his failure to pass a so-called “excellence review” issued by the academic institution.

“Everything changed last year,” said Fink, speaking in front of about 100 students. “That is because the Department ended up getting [a new Chair] extremely to the left who despised me even though she never met me from the moment I was hired.”

From there, Fink extensively outlined nine “dirty tricks” utilized by the administration in order to terminate him from the university, including restricting enrollment in his popular free speech course, preventing the professor from using his own student evaluations in his review process, and refusing to create an unbiased evaluation panel.

“They ask you in this process, it probably makes some sense, ‘tell us who is biased against you?’” Fink noted. “I would assume they ask you who is biased because those who are biased against you then will not be involved in the process of deciding whether or not you are qualified to continue teaching.” (Read more from “Professor Exposes UCLA’s ‘Dirty Tricks’ Against Conservatives” HERE)
