Hedge Fund Billionaire Issues Bone-Chilling Prediction About Future Inflation

Hedge fund founder Ken Griffin warned Thursday that inflation could persist for decades, citing U.S. government spending.

Griffin, the founder of Citadel, warned that the high U.S. budget deficits were unsustainable while at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore, according to the New York Post. The federal budget deficit hit roughly $1.7 trillion for fiscal year 2023, according to an Oct. 21 release from the Treasury Department.

Griffin said the U.S. government failed to plan for inflation when it “went on the spending spree that created a $33 trillion deficit,” the Post reported.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 3.7% on a year-to-year basis in August despite 11 interest-rate hikes since March 2022. (Read more from “Hedge Fund Billionaire Issues Bone-Chilling Prediction About Future Inflation” HERE)

U.S. Government Tells Federal Employees a Shutdown May Be Imminent

The U.S. government notified federal workers on Thursday that a shutdown appears imminent, as a Republican-led standoff on Capitol Hill forced the Biden administration to begin the formal, methodical process of preparing much of Washington to come to a halt.

The new warnings underscored the growing likelihood that millions of employees and military service members may stop receiving pay in just three days, even as talks commenced on Capitol Hill in pursuit of a long-elusive, last-minute deal that would extend federal funding beyond Sept. 30.

Across the government, federal officials dusted off the intricate blueprints that help unwind and pare down the sprawling bureaucracy to only its most vital functions. They braced for disruptions that are likely to be significant, especially if the stalemate persists for weeks, potentially dragging down the fragile U.S. economy while complicating many of the services on which millions of Americans and businesses rely.

Some federal programs, including Social Security and mail delivery, would be unaffected because they are funded outside of the annual appropriations process on Capitol Hill. But many other government operations would be rendered inaccessible if funds expire as soon as this weekend — potentially resulting in closed parks and passport offices, and eventually, more worrisome interruptions affecting federal housing, food and health aid for the poor. WATCH: John McAfee’s Widow Says Antivirus Pioneer Was Not Suicidal — and Feared He’d Be ‘WHACKD’; Death Follows McAfee Calling Out Deep State in Video

By New York Post. John McAfee’s widow insisted Friday that the cybersecurity tycoon was not suicidal — as it emerged that he was so convinced he’d be set up, he got a giant arm tattoo reading “$WHACKD.”

“His last words to me were ‘I love you and I will call you in the evening,’” Janice McAfee, 38, said outside the Barcelona penitentiary where her husband was found hanged on Wednesday.

“Those words are not words of somebody who is suicidal,” she said, demanding a “thorough investigation” into her 75-year-old husband’s death while he awaited extradition to the US on tax fraud charges.

Just three days before McAfee’s death, his widow had accused the US government of wanting the software entrepreneur to “die in prison” to “make an example of him for speaking out against the corruption within their government agencies.”

In July 2020, McAfee released a video calling out the “Deep State,” which he said was made up of unelected, career U.S. government employees who hold far too much control over the lives of Americans.

Report: John Mcafee Left a Suicide Note in His Pocket

By Associated Press. John McAfee had a suicide note in his pocket when he was found dead in his prison cell in Spain on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. The outlet’s sources would not offer details about the contents of the note, but the revelation comes as the multimillionaire’s widow spoke out for the first time since his death, telling reporters she wants a “thorough investigation” because he didn’t seem suicidal when they talked on the phone just hours before his body was found. “His last words to me were ‘I love you and I will call you in the evening,’” Janice McAfee, 38, said at Brians 2 penitentiary. “Those words are not words of somebody who is suicidal.”

Spanish authorities have said that McAfee, 75, died of an apparent suicide, but an autopsy is still in process. A Spanish court had authorized his extradition to the U.S. on tax evasion charges just hours before he was found dead. “We had a plan of action already in place to appeal that decision,” Janice McAfee said. “I blame the U.S. authorities for this tragedy. Because of these politically motivated charges against him my husband is now dead.” (Read more from “Report: John Mcafee Left a Suicide Note in His Pocket” HERE)
