20% of This City Uses This Site to Cheat on Spouses; Hackers Promise to Release Cheaters’ Names

By Rob Quinn. Ottawa, best known as the capital of Canada, also features the National Gallery of Canada, the annual Bluesfest, winter skating on the Rideau Canal—and, perhaps, a staggering amount of illicit sex.

Recently hacked affair hookup site Ashley Madison has 189,810 Ottawans on its books, which is roughly 20% of the city’s population and the highest sign-up rate for the site in Canada and possibly the world, according to Reuters.

“My G_d, my phones will be busy,” a private investigator told the Ottawa Sun after hackers calling themselves the “Impact Team” threatened to put details of the site’s 37 million users online. Identities Now Revealed in Ashley Madison Attack

By Joe Kovacks. The odds were 37 million to 1, but a Massachusetts man is the first unlucky person to be publicly identified in connection with the recent hack on the popular online adultery site Ashley Madison, whose slogan is, “Life is short. Have an affair.”

According to the Enterprise in Brockton, Massachusetts, the local resident’s name, profile ID, home address, email address and a “list of fantasies” were included in a manifesto message as an example of the information hackers had learned.

The information revealed is “intensely personal.”

“I have only two personal interests on this site,” the man’s profile reads. “Making sure that you are comfortable with me should I be so fortunate to hold your attention and making sure I take the role of discretion to an artform. I mean isn’t this why we are here, to be as discreet as possible?”

WBZ-TV in Boston reports, “Among the data released about the Brockton client of Ashley Madison: His user ID is ‘Heavy73′; he listed himself as ‘married/attached’; he joined the site the day after Valentine’s Day, 2014; he likes ‘cuddling & hugging’ and is into ‘discretion & secrecy.’” (Read more from this story, “Encouraging People to Cheat on Spouses” HERE)

Franklin Graham Weighs in on ‘Ashley Madison’

Franklin Graham’s Facebook post reads:

The Bible says, “be sure your sin will find you out.” Ashley Madison, the website for people who want to cheat on their spouses was hacked this weekend. Their slogan is: “Life is short. Have an affair.” Hackers threatened to reveal personal data related to 37 million users. I have news for all those worried cheaters out there wringing their hands—God already knew! His holy Word says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13). Times may have changed, but God’s laws and standards never change—all sin has a price. The New York Daily News calls this an “‪#‎adultery‬ website.” Isn’t it a shame that immorality is such big business?

According to the July 4, 2013, “Official Top 100 Conservative Websites for 2013,” Red Flag reports that Restoring Liberty is now ranked 49th* in the nation.

The report reflects that websites such as Mark Levin, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, American Conservative, Ann Coulter, TeaParty.Net, Family Research Council, PJ TV, Laura Ingraham, World Magazine, and others have lower rankings than Restoring Liberty, reflecting lower Internet traffic.

As always, our success is due to your faithful readership, loyal volunteers, and staff (especially Katy). Joe and Kathleen Miller thank every one of you for making Restoring Liberty one the nation’s top political websites.

Military Blocks Access to Southern Baptist Website

Photo Credit: Wesley FryerThe U.S. Military has blocked access to the Southern Baptist Convention’s website on an unknown number of military bases because it contains “hostile content” — just weeks after an Army briefing labeled Evangelical Christians and Roman Catholics as examples of religious extremism, Fox News has learned.

The Southern Baptist Convention is the nation’s largest Protestant denomination known for its support of the pro-life movement and its strong belief in traditional marriage.

Southern Baptist chaplains reported that SBC.net had been blocked at military installations around the nation. The censorship was made public after an Army officer tried to log onto the denomination’s website and instead — received a warning message.

“The site you have requested has been blocked by Team CONUS (C-TNOSC/RCERT-CONUS) due to hostile content,” the message read.

Team CONUS protects the computer network of the Dept. of Defense. The SBC’s website was not blocked at the Pentagon. Read more from this story HERE.

UPDATE:

Pentagon Blocks, Says it Will Free Access to Southern Baptist Website

The Pentagon blocked access to the Southern Baptist Convention’s website recently because it contained “hostile content” that was later determined to be malware, a military spokesman said Thursday.

“We determined that our web filters recently detected malware at the SBC website, which resulted in the block for some service members,” Lt. Col. Damien Pickart said in a prepared statement. “The department has verified that the Southern Baptist Convention website no longer contains malware that may pose a threat to our networks and will be unblocked today.”

Pickart denied the block had anything to do with the religious content of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination.“The Department of Defense strongly supports the religious rights of service members, to include their ability to access religious websites like that of the SBC,” he said.

Hundreds of Southern Baptist military personnel and chaplains across the nation reported earlier this week they could no longer access the SBC.net website on base computers. Instead, they received a message saying the website had been blocked due to “hostile content.”

At the same time, soldiers reported they could access websites of other religious faiths and organizations. Read more from this story HERE.

Democrat Operatives Launch Class-Warfare Website

A George Soros-funded radical think tank with close ties to the Democratic Party has launched a new website urging politicians and activists to wage class warfare while hailing what it calls a new era in politics – the use of class warfare to win elections.

WageClassWar.org was launched last week by the Campaign for America’s Future, or CAF. CAF’s co-director, Robert Borosage, explained the need for such a website.

“America’s growing diversity and its increasingly socially liberal attitudes played a big role in this election. But looking back, we are likely to see this as the first of the class warfare elections of our new Gilded Age of extreme inequality,” he wrote in a statement.

“More and more of our elections going forward will feature class warfare – only this time with the middle class fighting back. And candidates are going to have to be clear about which side they are on,” he wrote.

Continued Borosage: “In 2012, candidates who supported the economic interests of the many over the few won their elections. Populism was the voice, but economic opportunity was the message. The pundits may wring their hands, but in the future it won’t be values voters, angry white men or soccer moms that win elections. It will be class war.”

Independence Day Roll-out of New Website!

Happy Independence Day!  I hope you enjoy the collection of articles that Kathleen and I have put together to mark this 236th anniversary of our extraordinary country.   Allen West’s Balkanized States of America as well as Heritage’s Does the Declaration of Independence Still Matter are especially good reads.

I also want to welcome you to our new website!  As many of you know, the genesis of JoeMiller.us was the 2010 U.S. Senate Campaign.  After the close of the campaign, Kathleen and I continued to receive feedback from like-minded patriots throughout country asking that we stay engaged.  We resurrected the JoeMiller.us website in May 2011.

Since then, we’ve seen incredible growth.  It’s obvious that people throughout the country are desperate for the real news, with biases of the establishment media stripped away.  With the following that JoeMiller.us has generated, Kathleen and I decided to invest in upgrading the site to make it more user friendly and adaptable to the expectation of our readers.

So, over the last several weeks, Kathleen and I have worked with top line developers at The Liberty Lab to create a new site.  The product of those efforts is before you.  I encourage to take special note of Kathleen’s new page, “Kathleen’s Korner.”  Please also take time to explore the other new features of the site as well.

Understand that there may be some glitches that we experience along the way.   If you see anything you don’t like or needs to be improved, please take a moment to send some feedback through our contact box at the upper right-hand corner of the site.  And don’t forget, if you want to see our efforts expanded, please donate or choose to advertise on our site.  Ultimately, we’d like to add reporters and writers to our site to bring you more original content.

Again, thank you for standing with Kathleen and me for the cause of Liberty.  And may God Bless you and your families on this Independence Day.
