AG Barr: DOJ Has Not Uncovered Evidence of Widespread Voter Fraud; Barr Appoints John Durham as Special Counsel for ‘Russia Collusion’ Conspiracy Theory

By Breitbart. Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday the Justice Department has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, according to an interview he gave to the Associated Press.

Barr reportedly told the AP that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up on specific complaints and information they’ve received, but they have uncovered no evidence that would change the outcome of the election.

“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” he said.

Last month, Barr issued a memo authorizing U.S. attorneys to pursue substantial allegations of voting irregularities before the certification of the results of the 2020 presidential election. . .

“There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results. And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that,” he said. Barr Appoints John Durham as Special Counsel for ‘Russia Collusion’ Conspiracy Theory

By WND. If Joe Biden is inaugurated president, depending on the outcome of election fraud disputes, he will be in the office occupied most recently by President Donald Trump.

He also will face a special counsel investigation, as did President Trump. . .

It’s because Attorney General William Barr appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham a special counsel on Tuesday to investigate the origins of the FBI’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Special counsel Robert Mueller spent nearly years and more than $45 million investigating but wound up debunking many claims and concluding there was insufficient evidence.

The appointment means that the investigation of Barack Obama administration officials who launched the probe against Trump will continue even if Biden is installed in office. (Read more from “Barr Appoints John Durham as Special Counsel for ‘Russia Collusion’ Conspiracy Theory” HERE)

Trump Declines to Say If AG Barr Would Return for Second Term

President Trump gave no sign about whether he would have Attorney General William Barr stay on in his administration should he win the election.

The president said he was “not happy” with the operations of the Justice Department, but declined to comment when asked if he would request Barr to lead it in a second term.

“I have no comment. Can’t comment on that. It’s too early,” Trump told Newsmax TV. “I’m not happy with all of the evidence I have. I can tell you that. I’m not happy.”

Trump’s response comes after a Justice Department investigation, led by U.S. Attorney John Bash, found no “substantive” wrongdoing into “unmasking” requests by Obama administration officials into retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn in the Russia investigation. The findings “fell short of what Trump and others might have hoped,” according to the Washington Post. However, the scope of Bash’s findings is not known as the conclusions of the investigation have not been made public. Democrat Blackmail Campaign Intensifies: More Dems Calling for Trump, AG Barr Impeachment; Trump Predicts Democrats’ Impeachment Ploy Will Backfire

By Breitbart. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Sunday night at a joint press conference with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called on Democrats to buy time with procedural tools which she said could include impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr.

Earlier in the press conference, Ocasio-Cortez said, “We must also commit to using every procedural tool available to us to ensure that we buy ourselves the time necessary. We must commit to allowing and considering and utilizing every single procedural tool available to us again to buy that time.” (Read more from “Democrat Blackmail Campaign Intensifies: More Dems Calling for Trump, AG Barr Impeachment” HERE)

Trump Predicts Democrats’ Impeachment Ploy to Block SCOTUS Pick Will Backfire

By New York Post. President Trump on Monday predicted that Democrats moving to impeach him in an effort to block a Senate vote to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg would backfire and Republicans would win back the House.

The president was asked during an interview on “Fox & Friends” about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying that Democrats have options to stop a Senate vote on Ginsburg’s replacement and wouldn’t rule out impeachment.

“I think my numbers will go up, I think we’ll win the entire election, I think we will win back the House. I think we’re going to win the House. I really do. I think we’re going to win the House anyway,” Trump said.

Trump expressed surprise that the Democrats are threatening to impeach him for doing what he has the right to do.

“So I heard yesterday if I do it, they’re going to impeach me. So they’re impeaching me for doing what constitutionally I have to do … I think when we win the election, then we win all elections if they do that,” Trump said. AG Barr Gives Best Response Ever on Talk of Trump ‘Stealing’ the Election

Attorney General Bill Barr has been strutting around in recent weeks like the boss that he is, laying the smack down on violent rioters, and giving speeches and interviews where he tweaks the media in more ways than one and warns of mail-in ballot fraud and what’s to come if Democrats win big in the November elections.

As part of his media tour, Barr sat down on Monday to talk with longtime Chicago Tribune newspaper columnist John Kass on a variety of topics, and it was a barn burner of an interview.

On the highlight reel of things Barr told Kass was his response to the frenzied Democrat/media-fueled conspiracy theory that President Trump had cooked up some devious plot to steal the election and “seize power” in the event he loses. The remarks were given in the context of a discussion about election fraud and Chicago’s notorious history of political and electoral corruption[:]

Some jurisdictions require “secrecy sleeves” to separate the ballot from the envelope that could identify a voter. But would you trust that sleeve in Cook County, home of Johnny Rocco?

“You know liberals project,” Barr said. “All this bulls— about how the president is going to stay in office and seize power? I’ve never heard of any of that crap. I mean, I’m the attorney general. I would think I would have heard about it. They are projecting. They are creating an incendiary situation where there will be loss of confidence in the vote.”

AG Barr: Antifa Member’s Killing Shows America Won’t Be Ruled by Violent Mobs

Attorney General William Barr said Friday that the killing of alleged murderer and self-described member of Antifa Michael Reinoehl showed that the U.S. will be “governed by law, not violent mobs.”

In a statement released Friday, Barr praised police for their efforts in finding Reinoehl, and said his death made the United States “safer.”

“The tracking down of Reinoehl — a dangerous fugitive, admitted Antifa member, and suspected murderer — is a significant accomplishment in the ongoing effort to restore law and order to Portland and other cities,” Barr said. “The streets of our cities are safer with this violent agitator removed, and the actions that led to his location are an unmistakable demonstration that the United States will be governed by law, not violent mobs.”

Reinoehl was accused of killing Aaron “Jay” Danielson, a member of Patriot Prayer, in Portland, Oregon last Saturday. Patriot Prayer is a far-right group founded in 2016, and describes itself as being formed to defend the interests of American Christians. Barr: Advocates of Mail-In Voting Jeopardize Confidence in Election

Attorney General William Barr warned that advocates of mass mail-in voting are preventing public confidence in the upcoming election.

During an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday, Barr said the reason why the United States has not seen examples of widespread voter fraud is because it has not tried mass vote-by-mail. Citing a bipartisan commission on federal election reform, chaired by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker III, he said that the system could enable widespread fraud.

“He said if you expand mail-in voting, this is the president, it’s reckless,” Blitzer said to the attorney general, conveying the concerns of President Trump’s critics.

“Wolf, this is sort of cheap talk to get around the fundamental problem, which is the bipartisan commission, chaired by Jimmy Carter and James Baker, said back in 2009 that mail-in voting is fraught with the risk of fraud and coercion,” Barr responded.

“And since that time, there have been in the newspapers, in networks, academic studies saying it is open to fraud and coercion. The only time the narrative changed is after this administration came in. But elections that have been held with mail have found substantial fraud and coercion,” Barr continued. “For example, we indicted someone in Texas, 1,700 ballots collected from people who could vote. He made them out and voted for the person he wanted to. OK? That kind of thing happens with mail-in ballots.” (Read more from “Barr: Advocates of Mail-In Voting Jeopardize Confidence in Election” HERE)

Barr: U.S. Facing New Form of ‘Urban Guerrilla Warfare’ Driven by Left’s ‘Lust for Power’

The United States is grappling with a new form of “urban guerrilla warfare” driven by the left’s “lust for power,” Attorney General William Barr told “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Sunday.

Discussing the ongoing Black Lives Matter riots rippling through several US cities, Barr told host Mark Levin that the organization — which has been characterized by the media as a fed-up activist group — is comprised of “Bolsheviks” with a focus on on “some form of socialism, communism.”

“They are a revolutionary group that is interested in some form of socialism, communism. They’re essentially Bolsheviks. Their tactics are fascistic,” he said.

Barr compared the nationwide riots organized by Antifa to “a new form of urban guerrilla warfare.”

“The way the guerrilla…hides out among the people as a fish in the ocean…what they do is they are essentially shielding themselves or shrouding themselves in First Amendment activity,” he explained. “They go into the demonstrations, which are exercising First Amendment activity, and they insinuate themselves in there to shield themselves. That’s where they swim. And what they do is they hijack these demonstrations and they and they provoke violence.” (Read more from “Barr: U.S. Facing New Form of ‘Urban Guerrilla Warfare’ Driven by Left’s ‘Lust for Power’” HERE)

AG Barr’s Testimony May Have Revealed Another Obama-Biden Scandal

Yesterday, Attorney General William Barr testified before the House Judiciary Committee on a wide range of topics spanning from the violent riots in Portland to the Supreme Court’s illegal immigrants decision. However, beyond the fact that Democrat members of the House Judiciary Committee had rehearsed pushing the “I reclaim my time” parliamentary mute button, Americans learned scant new information from Barr’s Tuesday testimony.

The rare exception came during an exchange with the ranking Republican on the committee, Jim Jordan, when Barr told the Ohio Republican he had tasked U.S. Attorney John Bash of Texas with investigating the high number of unmasking requests that took place during the Obama administration.

Jordan, who along with Republican Devin Nunes has long pushed for answers to the SpyGate scandal, queried the attorney general about the unmasking of Michael Flynn by some 39 officials in the Obama administration from November 8, 2016 to January 31, 2017. Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell made public the names of those officials two months ago when he declassified a memorandum identifying them. That list included “former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director John Brennan, former DNI James Clapper, former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, and former Vice President Joe Biden.”

Would 39 separate individuals seeking to unmask the identity of Flynn between Trump’s election and the end of January be a “normal number?” Jordan asked. “Historically, that seems to be a high number,” Barr noted, adding “the other question you have to ask is why was this after the election.”

Jordan continued by noting that of those 39 Obama officials, seven people at the Treasury Department unmasked Flynn’s name. Is this an issue Durham is looking into, the ranking member asked, referring to Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, whom Barr has tasked with investigating the targeting of the Trump campaign. WATCH: Barr Laughs at PA Lawmaker Who Doesn’t Even Know What Policy She’s Asking Him About

Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr had plenty of popcorn moments, but one exchange the witness had with Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) deserves an honorable mention. As Dean, a Democratic representative from Pennsylvania, was questioning the attorney general, she seemed to completely forget her point. And Barr instantly called her bluff.

Dean began her interrogation with a timeline of events on the day President Trump walked from the White House to St. John’s Episcopal Church, which had been lit on fire the night before during George Floyd-related riots in the city. About 15 minutes before he took his stride to the church, park police sprayed protesters outside the White House in Lafayette Square with PepperBalls, clearing the area. Barr said it was a coincidence.

She then displayed a description of the DOJ’s use of less-lethal weapons from a 2009 report. It explained that the accuracy and accompanying blunt trauma impact of PepperBalls make it “an ideal chemical dispensing system.” So, Dean concluded that although Barr claimed it “wasn’t a chemical,” he must at least be aware of his department’s policy.

“What policy?” Barr asked.

Democrats Beware: AG Barr Tears Into ‘Bogus Russiagate Scandal’

Attorney General William Barr stands ready to storm the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday with a forceful critique of Democrats who are itching to paint him as a loyal minion eager to put protecting President Trump over the nation’s best interests.

In his prepared opening remarks, obtained by the Washington Examiner, Barr is poised to jump ahead of the onslaught of questions about his dogged uncloaking of the politically charged secrets of the Russia investigation, which Trump and his allies view as a plot to sabotage his campaign and presidency, with the 2020 election fast approaching.

“Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus ‘Russiagate’ scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President’s factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions,” Barr plans to say.

“The Attorney General has a unique obligation … He must ensure that there is one standard of justice that applies to everyone equally and that criminal cases are handled evenhandedly, based on the law and the facts, and without regard to political or personal considerations. I can tell you that I have handled criminal matters that have come to me for decision in this way,” Barr will add.

Barr’s testimony comes just under the 100-day mark ahead of the November election — a contest which will likely pit Trump against Joe Biden, the former vice president, who according to a flurry of recent document disclosures was at least privy, if not involved, in the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.
