Bigoted Walmart Puts Christian Employees on ‘Watch List’ [+videos]

walmart.topic.395-sfSpanI know several high-level executives in Walmart’s corporate office. I know them personally and I know their families. They have shared their faith with me and we have spent time in prayer together.

But now that Walmart has shown its public support for laws that force Christians to violate their faith, every executive, every store manager, every department manager and every team leader is forced into silence. No longer are they free to express their religious faith with its biblical position on marriage and sexuality.

In opposing Arkansas’ Religious Freedom Restoration Act, Walmart now sanctions religious discrimination and anti-Christian bigotry within the company.

Apparently, homosexual activists and their friends have taken influential control of Walmart’s Human Resources and Public Relations departments. Nothing less than full support of the gay brand of “diversity” – and only their brand – will be tolerated.

Last year, Walmart sponsored no less than eleven homosexual events across the nation. In addition, its corporate in-house magazine (Walmart World) touted full-page ads promoting Walmart Pride, the company’s sanctioned homosexual employee resource group. Once touted as a “Christian based company” Walmart folds under the pressures placed by homosexuals! Mr. Sam (Walton) must be cringing in his grave. When 80% of the nation proclaims their Christianity, it befuddles me to understand why these companies/people would go running toward the minority and join forces with them?????????????

    • gator86

And over half of that 80% agree with Wal-Mart and agree with marriage equality and agree with civil rights protection based on sexual orientation.

      • Kathy

Your stats are incorrect, try again.

        • gator86

Apparently, the moderators do not permit links to polls. The Public Religion Research Institute has all of the polling data on what members of various religions think about this issue. Catholics support marriage equality at higher numbers than most other Christian faiths.

          • Kathy

The Catholic Church is the only one fighting to protect traditional marriage. I guess lying is ok when you have an agenda these days.

          • gator86

You are the kind of arrogant, self righteous Catholic that damages my church. I give you the link to the poll that shows the numbers and you call me a liar. You are a pretty lousy Catholic to make a claim that you know is absolutely false. My church has no room for bigots like you.

          • Kathy

Actually, you didn’t give me a link but I did find the poll that confirmed your comment, my apologies. My claim is not false. The Church has always protected the marriage covenant and will continue to do so until Christ comes again. Anyone can claim to be Catholic, it doesn’t mean they are practicing. There are not 50% attending my parish that accept homosexual marriage. The protestants are falling to the world like flies and that cannot be denied. The presbyterian church is an example. When you break away it’s easier to break from everything Christ taught. God bless you.

          • gator86

Your claim is false. Catholics (not the Catholic Church, but Catholics) support marriage equality. They also support allowing priest to marry, divorce for Catholics, birth control and allowing a woman to choose to end her pregnancy under certain conditions. Catholics understand that celibate old men living in the bubble of Rome are just about the worst people to turn to on mattes of sexuality and family. You have no idea what Christ taught. You have no idea what he would say today about homosexuality. You parrot what the church hierarchy says.

          • Kathy

You apparently didn’t read my comment. I’ll pray for your destructive anger.

          • gator86

I have nothing but pity for ignorant bigots like you. No anger at all. How about praying for you to lose your anger towards gay people? That would be a start.

          • memyself andi

Gator, it doesn’t matter what church people say. The only thing that matters is what God’s Word has to say on any life issue.

          • gator86

And how often to you and God exchange words? What has She told you about marriage equality?

          • CountryBoy

One thing is for certain… you are genuine in your Hatred towards Christians…. just look at your own comments and childish name calling….

          • gator86

Not Christians, fake christians. The ones who use their faith as a weapon to harm others.

          • CountryBoy

It is you that is the Fake Christian …. look at the Hatred that you spew. When was the last time that you attended church and actually listened to the Word of the Gospel ??

          • gator86

You let other tell you what to think, I rely on my ability to reason. Since God apparently forgot to instill that quality in your, I guess you are better off letting others think for you.

          • CountryBoy

Your problem is that you have a really screwed up moral code….definitely NOT Christian…. look at the Hatred that you spew…. the childish name calling… you are a LOST Soul…..I tried, but you are a LOST cause…

          • TruthWFree

The anger against gay people is that they want to shove their sinful lifestyle on a predominantly normal heterosexual society. Go do your sinful thing in private that leads to HELL, but don’t try to force it on the rest of us who follow the Gospel and Bible teachings. Practising homosexuality is a SIN, and all those that do it are damned to HELL. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because the perverts wanted to have sex with Lot’s visitors (who were angels sent to destroy the towns…and they did.) You may call yourself a Christian, but you are not a Christian. You need to repent of your evil ways or be damned.

          • gator86

You need to go phuck yourself, you ignorant, inbred bigot.

          • CountryBoy

Still more Hatred and childish name calling….

Wow, you have some real mental issues….

          • gator86

I have a problem with hateful bigots.

          • CountryBoy

I would like to know what you have been smoking…

As far as what Jesus would say on the matter…. He would say “Go and sin NO more” just like he told the adulteress…. after there was no one without sin left to stone her….

          • gator86

He would tell you bigots to go and sin no more. And yet, you continue right on sinning.

          • CountryBoy

Ahh… still more name calling…. such childishness…. I am no bigot…. what you are doing according to the Bible is a sin….the problem is that you Refuse to see that… And as I state before, Jesus would say “Go and sin NO more”

          • gator86

What I am doing that is sinful? Calling out bigots and those who pervert faith to judge and harm others? How is that sinful? Worry about the log in your own eye.

          • TruthWFree

Don’t waste your time on this unrepentant lost soul. He will get his just desserts one day if he doesn’t change.

          • Kimberly Rock

Your Church? Christians, true Christians would not step foot in a pro-homosexual Church… You are in for a very big surprise… You cannot love both evil and God.. You’ve made your choice.. You’ve chosen to call God a liar and spit in His face… You will pay for that, and you will pay big..

          • gator86

No, you are the liar and I would not waste the moisture to spit on the likes of you.

          • CountryBoy

I see that you are a genuine arrogant, self righteous HATER…. and YOU are NO Catholic… that is obvious…. to those of us that are….

          • gator86

More of a real Catholic that you hick.

          • CountryBoy

Ahh … more REAL Hatred and name calling…. you are NO Catholic… that is obvious…..unless you are a make believe Catholic like Nancy Pelosi , Joe Biden or John Kerry … ALL of which have been censured by their respective Bishops for stating publicly that they are Catholic while NOT following Catholic teachings…

          • gator86

You do not need to toe the line of the few bishops in the Church who interfere in political issues to be a good catholic. If you do, then there are very few good Catholics left. Over 90% of Catholic women have used birth control. Over 50% of Catholics support the right to choose, support marriage equality, think divorce should be permitted, think priests should marry and that women should be allowed to serve as priests. The church hierarchy simply needs to catch up with the people.

          • KDC

Then, may I ask, why are you going to a church that does not stand on the word of God? Why bother? And if you say, “Who gives flying phuck what someone who lived 2000 years ago thought about what was right or wrong?”
Why are you going to church at all? You don’t even know He (God) exists? God’s word says we shall know them ( believers) by their fruit. Think about it. Where are you?

          • gator86

You have no idea what God wants. You certainly are an idiot if you think that bible sitting on your bookshelf is the word of God. It is the word of men. Your “belief” that it is the word of God is an accident of birth. Had you been born in a Muslim family or a Buddhist or Hindu one, you would think that their holy scriptures are the only true ones. Actually, Christians are the only one so arrogant as to think that. You believe what you believe cause that is what you were taught to believe. You did not come to it on your own, based on your own study or investigation. You are a christian for the same reason you speak English.

          • KDC

GATOR86…Coming from someone who very obviously never had a real encounter with God, you would say all the things you do. You must be born again or you will not see the kingdom of God. No one is brought up to that, it’s something each of us has to decide to do; Christian, Hindu, etc. ALL of us.

          • TruthWFree

They may be Catholic, but they’re not Christian. The writings of St. Paul are clear on the abomination of a man lying with a man or a woman lying with a a woman. The supporters of homosexuality will be with the goats at the judgement seat. Many are called, few are chosen. Same for abortion.

          • gator86

Who gives flying phuck what someone who lived 2000 years ago thought about what was right or wrong?

          • KDC

Yup, you just proved my comment to be correct!

          • gator86

What comment was that? You live your life based on what ignorant goat herders thought and I will live mine based on using the one thing God gave us that makes us different from animals; the ability to reason.

          • KDC

And not one time, have I read any of your comnents, where you did not display your hatred and name calling.

          • gator86

Defining what you are is not name calling. And I do not hate you, I hate your sins. They disgust me. Your arrogance; your presumption to tell others how to live; your desire to deny to other Americans the same rights you enjoy.

          • KDC

Good for you. Go read the bible, God tells you how to live. I just repeat what God says. Gays have a right to love, to live together, to do whatever it is they need to do. No one stops them from that. Don’t try to remake God’s laws because then you are denying other American’s their rights.

          • Vicki Tidwell

Southern Baptists do not support gay marriage or the redefining of the definition of marriage.

          • Gary

If the Puffington Post publishes or cites any organizations views, I immediately throw their opinion in the garbage! Your reference to PRRI shows you are a koolaid drinking, moron! And you are NOT a Catholic! You are a liar!

          • gator86

Gary, go phuck yourself. The true moron is the one who refuses to consider any fact that does not agree with their preordained prejudice. It is a fact that Americans, including the Christian ones, support marriage equality. All of your sill name calling and whining and moronic posts will not change that fact.

          • Gary

Sooo, you want men to marry men, women marry women, men marry their dogs! Where does it end?

          • gator86

No, you cannot marry your dog. Stop asking. I want for you and others like you to mind your own phucking business. Stop obsessing over gay people.

          • Gary

I suspected you are homosexual! Now you have confirmed it, so stop with the lie that you are a Catholic or a member of any church!

          • gator86

You mean you hoped I was. Sorry to disappoint you you closeted hypocrite, but my support for gay marriage is based on my belief in equal rights and my respect for the constitution, not my interest in entering into one.

          • Kimberly Rock

Stop taking everything away from normal people.. Stay in your friggin’ bedrooms with your nastiness.. God hates homosexuality! He hates it!

          • gator86

God hates bigots like you. The only nastiness in a bedroom would have to involve you and whatever creature you mate with.

          • KDC

            God loves the people, though.

          • KDC

Then perhaps they should stop throwing their life style in everyone’s face! I won’t except it.

          • gator86

Except it? Wanting to be allowed to get married; wanting to not be fired from their job for being gay; wanting to not be denied service for not being gay is not throwing anything in anyone’s face. How about you clowns stop throwing your perverted version of Christianity in everyone’s face.

          • KDC

You’ll have a chance to say all that to God yourself. It’s all your choice remember

          • gator86

I think God will be more interested in hearing from those like you who used his word to harm and condemn others; who perverted the message he sent his to die for into a message of hate and exclusion. You will have some splaining to do.

          • KDC

Remember, God see the heart. This was not said in hate or anger at all. Just in fact. God’s word condemns sin in all of us. No explaining here!

          • gator86

You have no idea what God’s word is. You just pick and choose what words long dead people claim came from God you will follow.

          • KDC

            John 3:36

          • gator86

            Bullshit.

          • Kimberly Rock

Christians cannot and do not support homosexual marriage.. It’s impossible to be Christian and pro-homosexual anything.. Absolutely impossible…

          • gator86

It is impossible for you to use reason and rationality.

          • kssturgis62

NO you are a very sick and twisted liberal, to even tout PRRI as legitimate, or anything that is worth reading or citing. I bet you would even support people like Kevin Jennings and Harvey Milk. I can’t believe you would tout such an organization that demonstrates their hatred for over 80% of the population.

          • gator86

And you are a sad, deluded and hateful pagan. It does not matter how many legitimate polls I cite, your bigoted little brain will reject the truth. How exactly does the peri demonstrate hatred?

          • kssturgis62

See when you are faced with Facts, your true colors show. Name calling – irrational behavior. The intelligence with this one is on the low scale. Liberals/progressives can’t comprehend truths, debate, or ever respond intelligently. This polling firm is a progressive polling firm, run by Progressives.

          • KDC

Excuse me, Christians don’t talk the way you do.

          • gator86

You would not be the one to know how Christians talk in that you are not one.

          • Kimberly Rock

Marriage equality? We all have exactly the same rights.. You people do not want equality, you want superiority.. And that’s a fact..

            Civil rights? Are you daft??

            80%.. You are a liar!

          • gator86

I want gay people to have marriage equality with me and my wife. How is that superiority? I provided links to the polling that shows, in poll after poll, that a majority or Americans and a majority of Americans who are Christian support marriage equality. That you are not bright enough to read a poll is your problem.

          • KDC

That is totally NOT true. Where are you getting your stats? What they support is someone having the right to choose their own path. Anyone has a choice to sin or not sin, to do good or to do bad. This does not mean “change” what God has instituted as marriage, which is between one man and one woman. The whole gay/lesbian thing is about entitlements and money. They want the same benefits and deductions and claims as a married man and women when filing income taxes. It’s all about those BENEFITS. They want all the percs for choosing their sinful life style.

          • gator86

You are so disturbed. You lie with such ease. The whole gay/lesbian thing is about who they love; who they want to commit to; who they want to make a family with. Those are things you apparently do not value or understand. And, for the last freaking time, what you or others like you think God wants is not relevant to our secular laws.

          • KDC

The gay/lesbian thing is about entitlements and money. They want the same benefits and deductions and claims as a married man and women when filing income taxes. It’s all about those BENEFITS. They want all the percs for choosing their sinful life style. Who cares if they love, live or do whatever they do? Don’t try to change the God ordained institution of marriage to fit that life style.

          • KDC

You cant comment without your vulgar, nasty name calling, can you.

          • kssturgis62

I am about to blow the touting of this PRRI out of the water. I think you believe we Christians and Conservatives are plainly stupid. Touting this group and praising them, is like bowing and kissing the Ring on Obama’s finger.

OH so you mean you are touting a Religion Research Institute run by Robert P Jones and Daniel Cox.

A Polling group just founded in 2009. Imagine that a polling group founded when Obama was Elected.

You mean the Same polling group, where that the Author Robert P Jones, runs who wrote the book Progressive and Religious – You mean the Same Robert P Jones who was a Scholar with John Pedesta’s group the Center for American Progress. The Same Robert P Jones who loves and touts Social Justice.

            What is this one book of his about ??? Well here are a couple of Reviews for you ;

            From Publishers Weekly

Much attention has been paid to the role of the religious right in American politics, but this work offers an account of religious progressives who are seeking to make their own impact on public life. Jones, a scholar at the Center for American Progress, interviewed nearly 100 leaders from the four religious groups enumerated in the subtitle and discovered a diverse and vibrant community committed to issues like social justice, inclusion and economic fairness-a pluralistic hodgepodge Jones describes as “the other religious America.” The author briefly depicts the long history of religious progressivism in America, but his book concentrates on contemporary activists, such as Jewish Funds for Justice or the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. Each faith has its own distinctive theological basis for its progressive politics, yet Jones also shows common characteristics, including a relational approach to truth and a belief in the unity of all humanity. This book will cheer religious progressives who believe their voices are underrepresented in the current conversation about faith and politics in America.

This is just on Robert P Jones.

          • kssturgis62

Let’s Talk about Daniel Cox the other person in charge at the PRRI !!!

All one has to do is read his twitter Feed and you see how much he hates and despises Christians and stands for everything that is supportive of the LGBT community. 1.6% of the population by the way !!!

Daniel Cox a Canadian, who pushes everything Homosexual and Transgender. He is even touted as being a Former Jehovah Witness, and a model/actor in Gay Pornography.

So much for your PRRI stance.

          • gator86

With all your blathering, you have not proved that the polls are not accurate. When you can do that, let me know. Till then, you are very boring.

          • kssturgis62

Yes I have !!! You see their backgrounds and what they stand for. What they speak about, what they write about. They are slanted polls. They are slanted and for certain issues mainly lgbtq and they are not accurate. They are only used by Liberal news outlets like HuffPo, to spread their lies and propaganda. They are Propaganda. There isn’t a single major news outlet that uses this propaganda. If you think Huffpo, NBC or MSNBC are major then that is why your head is stuck in the toilet.

          • gator86

You are right about one thing. I do think Christian conservatives like you are plainly stupid. Your prove it repeatedly.

          • kssturgis62

oh and by the way the moderators do allow you to put in links. You just know by Touting PRRI, you can be the Liar and deceiver you are, and keep people in the dark about what you support.

      • lisalake

        LOL. No. No they don’t.

      • CountryBoy

Notice how the do NOT post on How they did the survey, AND how Many people were actually surveyed…

If the survey were conducted in San Francisco, you “might” be right….

        • gator86

Actually, they do explain how they surveyed, what questions were asked and what cross section of the population was contacted. Idiot country boys like you have trouble with things like polling and stats and numbers in general. Here is a number even you can understand: 34 states allow gay marriage and over 75% of the US population lives in those states.

          • Freightflyer

34 states only allow gay marriage because the courts forced it on them, overriding several state constitutional amendments. Ultimately this will not go well for the country, or the gays… When 3% of the population is allowed to override the rest through color of law, the folks who have been denied their voice will retaliate eventually…

          • gator86

The “rest” of the country support marriage equality for gay Americans. You are in an ever shrinking minority. But, the delusions of grandeur folks like you suffer from will never allow you to accept that.

          • CountryBoy

Ahh… more Hatred and childish name calling…

Just for the record, I have an MBA with a minor in economics and graduated college with a 3.96 GPA…. so no, I do not have any problems deciphering things like polling numbers and stats……

Most of those 34 states were Forced to allow gay marriage by a judge AGAINST the Will of the People, even the state of California was Forced by a judge to accept it…..

Texas, which is currently not included among the 34, voted to keep traditional marriage by 76% of the people that voted.

It is the activist judges that are going against the Will of the People that are destroying this country…..

          • gator86

If you paid for your education, demand a refund. I never said that “80%” agree with marriage equality. How can someone with a degree from a real college and and MBA not be able to read. The reference to “80%” was in response to the comment above who pointed out that 80% of the nation identify as being Christian. I said that over half of those, in polls taken recently, support marriage equality. It is true that, over the last 20 years, among the 40 to 50% of those eligible to vote who voted agreed with banning gay marriage, that is hardly relevant today. Then, polls show that most opposed marriage equality while polls now show support. More importantly, the claim that they were “activist” judges is a moronic lie. The more than three dozen judges around the country who have struck down these laws were mostly Republicans and many conservatives. Conservative judges who understood that there is not rational basis for the government to not apply marriage laws equally to gay couples. Marriage is the great stabilizing force in this nation. Families strengthen society when they are headed by married couples. How idiotic to think that extending this to couples who are gay is a bad thing.

          • CountryBoy

Your data is faulty… go back and check again….and remember that according to government figures, you only make up between 1.2% to 2.7% of the population…. the hatred in your feeble mind is blinding you to the truth…. you live a LIE and there is nothing that I can do to help you…. the only way to get a handle on your problem is to first admit that you have one.

          • gator86

I think that being a middle aged, straight white male of Irish descent makes me part of a much larger segment of the population.

      • KDC

Your stats are VERY incorrect. I would venture to say you got it backwards. 80% disagree.

    • steamrollers61

In most religions, you cannot believe in God and support criminal acts. Next they’ll be saying that Christians support pedophiles. Come on, folks! The bible doesn’t change.

They have no right to one dime of this nations treasury nor does any other country. Until Americans abolish and start over nothing will change.

I don’t care if someone is gay or not. Who cares it is between them and God. They are people too. It is none of the governments business. This is why we need to get govt out of everything period. Their only job is protecting our borders and they can’t even do that. And if you are gay or lesbian you need to think twice about who you honor and support as leaders in this country because your votes are being used as an agenda by people whose heritage demands the death of you and your lifestyle. You’ve been used and taken for a ride by this administration. You need to learn their history. They will use you and then murder you.
    1) Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them. Qur’an 2:19

    2) Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood. Qur’an 9:123

    3) Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable. Qur’an 3:85

    4) The Jews and Christians are perverts; fight them.” Qur’an 9:30.

    5) Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. Qur’an 5:33

    6) The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque. Qur’an 9:28 7) Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies. Qur’an 22:19

    8) Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them. Qur’an 47:4

    9) The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them. Qur’an 8:65

    10) Muslims must not take the infidels as friends. Qur’an 3:28

    11) Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an. Qur’an 8:12

    12) Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels. Qur’an 8:60

    13) Be terrified that Allah will replace you and put others in your place and inflict you with a painful doom. Qur’an 9:38 and 39. “The militant Muslim is the person who beheads the infidel, while the moderate Muslim holds the feet of the victim.” — Marco Polo (1254-1324).

That’s it I’ll never go into another Walmart .

    Looks like Walmart has
succumb to the hate game of the LGBT movement.

Let’s look at this from a
different perspective. If gay people think Christians hate them, would they
really hire them to bake a cake for their wedding or take pictures? I know I
wouldn’t eat a cake made by someone who hates me. Or let them take pictures at
my wedding. Would you really want someone who is not motivated to provide good,
    reliable service for your wedding?

    But true hatred would be
the ones who get social media involved to target someone who was open and
honest enough to say they couldn’t perform the service wholeheartedly. Who
would get others to hate them and boycott their business, or threaten them, or
even cause damage to their business. They would even get the government and lawyers
involved to drive them out of business or get employees fired (such as the case
    with Walmart).

    Never mind the fact that
in driving them out of business, they also put their employees, who may even
agree with their point of view or may even be like them, out of work. But if
they are good enough at hatred, maybe they can get the employees to blame their
employer instead of them for losing their job.

“Nothing less than full support of the gay brand of “diversity” – and only their brand – will be tolerated.” Well, is this the liberal/communist way of doing things? Of course. Don’t shop at Walmart. Maybe that’s why Walmart has those hilarious pictures of wacky people we all love to laugh at….lol
