FORMER SNL ACTRESS VICTORIA JACKSON: ‘MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD HAS INFILTRATED OUR HIGHEST POSITIONS IN GOV’T’

Former “Saturday Nigh Live” actress Victoria Jackson is facing some criticism over recent comments she made on “Politichicks,” a web talk show she co-hosts. During a recent episode, Jackson contended that the Muslim Brotherhood — the same Islamist group that has been winning Middle Eastern elections — has infiltrated the American government at its highest levels.

“I just went to a briefing in Washington D.C., across the street from the Capitol, at the Longworth building at 8:30 am two days ago and it changed my life,” she said. “For six hours, I saw pictures and names and dates and facts and Islamic law books and Korans, Surahs for six hours and they proved to me… that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our highest positions in government and this is serious.”

Jackson also detailed this meeting in a blog entry earlier this month, writing:

I went to a six hour briefing in Washington D.C. last week. Thirty eight government representatives were invited. Fifteen showed up. Slides, photos, names, dates and documents were shown overhead proving that the Muslim Brotherhood, not only planned the “Arab Spring” and Libyan take over, but has infiltrated our highest government positions, schools, courts and military and is even making policy.

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who typically rattles on about entertainment (with occasional hints of political news where there’s a cultural element), called Jackson “misinformed” and “uneducated,“ saying that ”there are barely any others in the world that match her low level.” He continued, contending that her comments about the Muslim Brotherhood are “ignorant hatred with no foundation in reality.”

Mercy in the style of the “Religion of Peace”; diplomacy in the style of Barack Obama

Barack Obama and his State Department who cheered the success of the “Arab Spring” revolutions in the Middle East over this past year should be made to explain the latest example of “mercy” as practiced by Islam “the religion of peace.”

In 2006 an Iranian woman was tried and convicted of committing adultery. She was sentenced to death by stoning which is the way strict adherents to Islamic laws demand such people ought to be executed. Soon after the sentence was handed down, the woman’s execution was put on hold because “foreign governments and human rights groups” appealed to the Iranians for some relief for her.

Now to show how reasonable and modern they are, the Iran Islamists who don’t execute murderers, are studying their laws to see if they can substitute hanging her instead of stoning her to death. This is the essence of “negotiations” when Islamists are on the opposite side of the table.

“Arab Spring”

Until last spring Egypt was as close to a modern nation as could be found in North Africa. It had the respect of Muslim and non-Muslim countries, a relatively stable economic system and an honorable government which was living up to its treaties with Israel and other Western aligned nations. All of that changed with the ouster of Hosni Mubarak and his government which was cheered on by the dopes in the western media and facilitated by Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton his stooge in the State Department. Neither Obama nor Clinton wanted to talk about who was actually revolting in Egypt they were too busy reliving the 60’s.

The “revolutionaries” were the Muslim Brotherhood who had kept a low profile under Mubarak a man who knew their true aim is the spread of Islam around the world. Mubarak is gone now and the Muslim Brotherhood which has just announced it wants to model itself after Hamas is poised to take control. Hamas is a terrorist organization that wants Sharia law everywhere and Israel to be pushed into the sea.

Top 10 Worst Federal Rules of 2011

Hindsight is supposed to be 20/20, but looking back on the past 12 months, it’s tough to see any sense in many of the Administration’s regulatory missteps. Of course, there are bound to be a few howlers when government churns out more than 3,500 rules in a year, including dozens unleashed by Obamacare, Dodd–Frank, and the perpetually errant Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). But by any standard, 2011 brought forth a remarkable number and variety of regulatory blunders.

Fair warning: Our Top 10 list may prove fatal to any bit of faith in government as a “fixer,” if faith somehow has managed to survive despite all evidence to the contrary. In any event, it should steel our resolve to fight the Leviathan in the coming year.

1. The Dim Bulbs Rule. As per Congress, of course, for issuing an edict to phase out the incandescent light bulbs on which the world has relied for more than a century. With the deadline looming in 2012, Americans by the millions spent the past year pressing lawmakers to lift the ban which, contrary to eco-ideology, will kill more American jobs than create “green” ones. (Congress evidently overlooked the fact that the vast majority of fluorescent bulbs are manufactured in China.) The 2012 appropriations bill barred the use of funds to enforce the regulation, but it remains in law.

2. The Obamacare Chutzpah Rule. The past year was marked by a slew of competing court rulings on the constitutionality of the individual mandate, the cornerstone of Obamacare. The law requires U.S. citizens to obtain health insurance or face financial penalties imposed by the Internal Revenue Service. Never before has the federal government attempted to force all Americans to purchase a product or service. To allow this regulatory overreach to stand would undermine fundamental constitutional constraints on government powers and curtail individual liberties to an unprecedented degree.

3. The Nationalization of Internet Networks Rule. Regulations that took effect on November 1 prohibit owners of broadband networks from differentiating among various content in managing Internet transmissions. (In other words, the Federal Coercion Communications Commission effectively declared the broadband networks to be government-regulated utilities.) The FCC imposed the “network neutrality” rule despite explicit opposition from Congress and a federal court ruling against it. The rule threatens to undermine network investment and increase online congestion.

Obama’s Flagrant Disrespect for the Rule of Law

As a Senator and presidential candidate, Barack Obama decried the use of presidential signing statements, but as with so much other rhetoric originating from Obama concerning “hope and change,” he has decided to keep things the same.  Yesterday the Washington Times laid out candidly President Obama’s latest efforts to circumvent the Constitution and his own campaign promises:

When the president of the United States signs a bill into law, it’s expected that he will abide by it. That’s not the case with President Obama, who has a sudden interest in novel legalistic interpretations getting him off the hook from laws he doesn’t like.

On Friday, the president signed the $1 trillion omnibus spending bill, which funds the government for the remaining nine months of the fiscal year. Afterward, he released a statement saying he won’t abide by the law because the Justice Department had advised that certain provisions are “subject to well-founded constitutional objections.”

The mainstream media tells us that Barack Obama is some kind of expert on Constitutional Law, but it looks like he has some reading comprehension issues because the Constitution is clear as to how the president may act when presented with a bill from Congress:  he may approve and sign, veto, or ignore.

There is no option to both approve and ignore, as he intends to do.  But his flagrant disrespect for the law should come as no surprise to us given his past refusal to enforce and defend statutes he disagrees with.  The only surprise should be that he hasn’t been impeached yet.

The New Aristocrats: Congress Net Worth Skyrockets as National Net Worth Plummets

When Representative Ed Pastor was first elected to Congress two decades ago, he was comfortably ensconced in the middle class. Mr. Pastor, a Democrat from Arizona, held $100,000 or so in savings accounts in the mid-1990s and had a retirement pension, but like many Americans, he also owed the banks nearly as much in loans.

Today, Mr. Pastor, a miner’s son and a former high school teacher, is a member of a not-so-exclusive club: Capitol Hill millionaires. That group has grown in recent years to include nearly half of all members of Congress — 250 in all — and the wealth gap between lawmakers and their constituents appears to be growing quickly, even as Congress debates unemployment benefits, possible cuts in food stamps and a “millionaire’s tax.”

Mr. Pastor buys a Powerball lottery ticket every weekend and says he does not consider himself rich. Indeed, within the halls of Congress, where the median net worth is $913,000 and climbing, he is not. He is a rank-and-file millionaire. But compared with the country at large, where the median net worth is $100,000 and has dropped significantly since 2004, he and most of his fellow lawmakers are true aristocrats.

Largely insulated from the country’s economic downturn since 2008, members of Congress — many of them among the “1 percenters” denounced by Occupy Wall Street protesters — have gotten much richer even as most of the country has become much poorer in the last six years, according to an analysis by The New York Times based on data from the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonprofit research group.

Obama to ask for debt limit hike: Treasury official

The White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the government’s debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time, according to a senior Treasury Department official on Tuesday.

The approval is expected to go through without a challenge, given that Congress is in recess until later in January and the request is in line with an agreement to keep the U.S. government funded into 2013.

The debt is projected to fall within $100 billion of the current cap by December 30, when the United States has $82 billion in interest on its debt and payments such as Social Security coming due. President Barack Obama is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion, part of the spending authority that was negotiated between Congress and the White House this summer.

Under the agreement struck in August during the showdown over the government’s debt limit, the cap is automatically raised unless Congress votes to block the debt-ceiling extension. Lawmakers have 15 days within receiving the request to vote, which is largely symbolic because the president can veto it and Congress would be unlikely to muster the two-thirds majority to override it. Moreover, the U.S. House of Representatives also is in recess until January 17.

The deal called for raising the debt ceiling by $2.1 trillion to serve the nation’s borrowing needs into 2013 and also included mandatory cuts to the federal budget deficit. Since then, the extension has been increased twice by a total of $900 billion.

Occupy hacking group “Anonymous” plans for “violent revolution,” warns of “bloody mess”

The hackers known as “Anonymous,” who helped organize and support the Occupy movement’s protests, have released an online a survivor guide for citizens “in case of a violent revolution in your country.”

The guide warns protests can be a “bloody mess.” It trains rioters on how to avoid tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition.

The 15-page PDF document claims police will not help protesters and may actually be enemies of the revolution while warning that protest groups may be infiltrated by “fake civilians.”

The Anonymous survival guide was published just before the hacker group claimed Sunday to have stolen thousands of credit card numbers and other personal information belonging to clients of U.S.-based security think tank Stratfor.

Anonymous has promised more infiltrations and hacker jobs, saying it has “enough targets lined up to extend the fun fun fun of LulzXmas through the entire next week.”

Obama on track to raise a record $200 MILLION this year for 2012 re-election campaign

The 2012 election is set to become the priciest in history, with the Obama campaign predicting it has raised $60 million in the fourth quarter of this year alone.

The president’s re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee raised roughly $155 million through the end of September.

If it reaches its aim for this quarter, the campaign will have surpassed the staggering $200 million goal for the year, a campaign official said.

It means the campaign is well on its way to raise the total target of $750 million – the same amount they raised in the successful 2008 bid for the presidency.

Obama headlined 15 campaign fundraising events in the fourth quarter, according to Reuters.
