Michelle Obama Lies Again: “We Are in the Midst of a Huge Recovery” Because of Barry (+video)

By Christopher Goins. First Lady Michelle Obama said in a radio interview on Friday that the United States is in the “midst of a huge recovery” because of what “this president has done.”

Pablo Sato, co-host of Pablo & Free on WPGC 95.5, a Washington, D.C.-area hip-hop radio station, asked the first lady: “Mrs. Obama, you know what, in your words, tell us what you think the state of the union is in right now?”

Mrs. Obama said, “I mean, we are seeing right now that we are in the midst of a huge recovery. Right? Because of what this president has done.”

Free: “Yes.”

Obama: “Pulled this economy from the brink of collapse when we were losing 800,000 jobs a month. Now were gaining every — throughout most of his presidency, we’ve been adding jobs to this economy because of what he’s been doing. The stock market has doubled. Housing prices are rising. Foreclosure rates are lowering. But in the face of that, you still have people trying to convince us that things aren’t better.” Read more from this story HERE.

Hispanic Voters: Obama Not Masculine Enough

Mitt Romney aides say he has made crucial gains among Florida’s Hispanic voters by portraying Obama as fatally weak, a perception they argue has particular power in the Latino community.

A new Florida International University/Miami Herald poll released over the weekend shows President Obama leading Romney among likely Latino voters by just seven points, 51-44 percent. A Tampa Bay Times/Miami Herald poll released late last week actually showed Romney ahead of Obama by two points — an 11-point shift from a month earlier. And a third poll, released Sunday by Public Policy Polling, shows Romney down just three points among Florida Hispanics.

By contrast, Obama won 57 percent of Florida Latinos in 2008, according to exit polls.

One Obama campaign adviser, requesting anonymity to address the polls frankly, contested that they were likely skewed by oversampling Cuban-American voters, who are mostly conservative. And the adviser stressed that Obama still maintains a wide lead among Latino voters nationwide.

But nationally, Hispanic voters are also among the lowest enthusiasm levels of any demographic in the country. And oversampling Cuban-Americans doesn’t explain the 11-point bounce Romney received in the days since the debate. For the Obama campaign, which is banking on a Latino landslide similar to 2008, the numbers could spell danger.

Video: Woman Introducing Paul Ryan Compares Obama to Castro

At a campaign event in Ohio yesterday, a woman introducing Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Paul Ryan compared Obama to Castro. She stated that we were “duped in Cuba by Castro. Let’s make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Although she didn’t mention it, Paul Ryan recently vigorously criticized the Obama Administration’s Cuban policy.

Last month, the New York Times reported that:

Mr. Ryan argues that the Obama administration has been too willing to engage with Cuba and has made it too easy to travel back and forth and send money to Havana from the United States. He vowed that a Romney-Ryan administration would be “tough on Castro” as well as on Hugo Chávez, the Venezuelan leader.

Here’s the video from the campaign event yesterday:

Deployed US Soldier Begins Sex Change

She’s a lesbian, and almost everyone in her unit knows it.

She wears her hair cropped short and has a distinctly boyish appearance.

And she’s becoming manlier by the day, now that she’s started taking male hormones.

Call her Keith. That’s the name this 26-year-old specialist, now deployed to Afghanistan, plans to take when she completes a transition begun several months ago when she started giving herself testosterone injections every other week, under the direction of a civilian doctor who specializes in gender changes.

“It’s going well. My voice is deeper, I’m getting more muscle. I feel more energy. I feel more like myself,” she told Military Times in a recent interview via Skype from her containerized housing unit in Afghanistan.

October Surprise May Be Underway: White House Prepares Strike Team to Hit Libyan Terrorists

The White House has put special operations strike forces on standby and moved drones into the skies above Africa, ready to strike militant targets from Libya to Mali — if investigators can find the Al Qaeda-linked group responsible for the death of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans in Libya.

But officials say the administration, with weeks until the presidential election, is weighing whether the short-term payoff of exacting retribution on Al Qaeda is worth the risk that such strikes could elevate the group’s profile in the region, alienate governments the U.S. needs to fight it in the future and do little to slow the growing terror threat in North Africa.

Details on the administration’s position and on its search for a possible target were provided by three current and one former administration official, as well as an analyst who was approached by the White House for help. All four spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the high-level debates publicly.

The dilemma shows the tension of the White House’s need to demonstrate it is responding forcefully to Al Qaeda, balanced against its long-term plans to develop relationships and trust with local governments and build a permanent U.S. counterterrorist network in the region.

Vice President Joe Biden pledged in his debate last week with Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan to find those responsible for the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.

Video: Rush Limbaugh – Morgan Freeman’s Ridiculous Obama Ad

On yesterday’s show, Rush Limbaugh hammered Morgan Freeman’s ridiculous Obama ad for playing the blame game and misleading viewers. Not only does Freeman talk about all the problems that Obama inherited, he also suggests that the President has gotten our factory lines “humming again.”

This is what Rush said about the ad:

What the hell does that say? It says absolutely nothing. All it does is start whining and making excuses. Every president inherits challenges. Few have faced so many. Yeah? That’d be surprising to George W. Bush. He had 9/11, his own recession. Ronaldus Magnus, the four years of Jimmy Carter, the Iranian hostage crisis he had to settle and fight the Cold War and defeat the Russians, the Soviets. These people think they’ve had it so tough. Four years later our enemies have been brought to justice. The hell they have. Our enemies are spiking the football. Zawahiri and Al-Qaeda are spiking the football! Killing our ambassador in Benghazi and three other Americans, after Obama has said there is no more Al-Qaeda. After Obama has tried to tell everybody he’s brought Al-Qaeda to its knees.

Here’s the ad itself:

The Ca. Head of the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Wants Blasphemy Laws in the US

Rashid Ahmad [the California head of CAIR] neither identifies nor condemns the “crazy people” responsible for the murder of Chris Stevens and three other Americans. And the killers were only “way out of line,” something one might say of a misbehaving child. The U.S. government says it “might” have been a planned attack by an al-Qaida affiliate, but Rashid Ahmad fails to say if he agrees. But he does hold forth on the “Innocence of Muslims” video.

“People feel extremely hurt and offended by the film,” Ahmad told the Bee. “But there’s a huge debate in Northern California over what should happen to the filmmaker.” Actually there isn’t.

Few here have seen the video and the default position is that it may be offensive but the U.S. government should take no action against the filmmaker. The huge debate here is over the push for even higher taxes in a state on the verge of bankruptcy.

“Some say there should absolutely not be any prohibition against free speech,” explained Ahmad, billed as someone who came to the United States from Pakistan in 1970 to study engineering at UC Davis.

“In France, Germany and other European nations, there are laws against hate speech,” Ahmad told the Bee. “Holocaust deniers and others who belittle Nazi crimes during World War II are subject to criminal penalties. Just like there are laws against hate crimes in the U.S., there should be laws against hate speech that leads to violence or criminal activities. Because of the film we’ve lost so many lives – the filmmaker has blood on his hands.”

Missouri’s Todd Akin is Now Up Four Points Against McCaskill

The new poll out Monday showing that Todd Akin is leading Claire McCaskill in their U.S. Senate race comes at a pivotal time.

And it better be a renewed wake-up call to all the Missouri Democrats and McCaskill supporters who might think she’s going to walk to victory over Akin because of his asinine comments on abortion.

The poll, by Republican-leaning Wenzel Strategies, shows a 49 percent to 45 percent lead for Akin. That’s up just a bit from the 45-42 lead Wenzel had for Akin in late August.

In other words, Akin isn’t losing support despite weeks of negative attack ads on him by McCaskill and her forces.

The Akin camp thinks it’s getting a bounce from the revelations last week that McCaskill’s husband benefited from his investments in federally subsidized housing.

New Study: Southern Poverty Law Center “Personifies the Hate, Dishonesty and Hypocrisy of the Left”

The SPLC is an organization you need to become familiar with. It personifies the hate, dishonesty and hypocrisy of the Left. It is a hate factory that has institutionalized the Left’s favorite tactic, Alinsky rule #12:

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)…

We need to recognize that the SPLC does not merely represent an organized example of leftist lunacy. It is a dangerous organization, whose goal is to isolate its enemies and make them politically radioactive. They achieve this through calculated, disingenuous and hate-filled propaganda.

The SPLC has become a consultant to both the FBI and Department of Homeland Security. These federal law enforcement organizations and others take SPLC’s “Hate List” and other similar products seriously. This incentivizes law enforcement and creates an automatic institutional bias against the SPLC’s foes; people with genuine concerns and legitimate gripes suddenly become societal pariahs.

Rather than focus on real enemies and threats within our midst, law enforcement agencies are directed to focus on principled, upstanding, patriotic and courageous citizens. Meanwhile, the left, demonstrably violent, demonstrably subversive and destructive, gets a free pass. Do you see the destructive cultural inversion and threat to national security this creates?

Jumaat al-Fuqra and its 35 U.S.-based terrorist training camps isn’t on any SPLC list. The many dangerous leftwing organizations in the U.S. are not on any SPLC list. The Communist Party isn’t. Occupy Wall Street isn’t, neither is the violent Occupy Black Bloc. Why not?

Obama Email to Supporters Says, “The Race is Tied!”

This morning, I was forwarded an Obama email from one of our Restoring Liberty supporters who is on the “Obama for America” email list. No, he’s not voting for Obama, but he’s very interested in knowing what the other side is saying to its support network, so he signed up for Obama’s email list.

In the fundraising email, Obama states bluntly that “this race is tied.”

He also states that what’s hanging in the balance is “not just the next four years, but what this country looks like for decades to come.”

And that’s exactly why he has to go.

Here’s the email:
