Comedian Jimmy Fallon: Abortion Can Be “Lighthearted” and “Funny”

Comedians can find the humor in anything, right? Or so Jimmy Fallon seems to think.
Comedian Jimmy Fallon invited the “very talented actress” Jenny Slate (“SNL,” “Parks and Recreation”) on “The Tonight Show” August 1. During her appearance, Fallon applauded Slate’s recent role in the media-dubbed “abortion romantic comedy,” “Obvious Child.”
Fallon explained, “It’s getting great reviews because it’s a serious issue, but you make it lighthearted, you make it funny.” “Good for you,” he added. Continued after video.

A California couple decided to remember their stillborn daughter by hiring a professional photographer to take special pictures of them with her so they would have a touching memorial to remember her by. Richard and Emily Staley wanted a way to mark their daughter Monroe’s place in their family even though she was dead at birth.
So they hired Lindsey Natzic-Villatoro, who typically takes happy photographs of weddings or family pictures.
Here is what the couple had to say, along with a couple of the pictures Lindsey took:
‘I wanted our family to have some way to show how beautiful our daughter was,’ Emily Staley, 26, told Yahoo Health.
‘I was proud of her, and I wanted to show her off and make sure her memory lives on.’
