BREAKING: ISIS Savages Just Burned 45 To Death As Obama Pursues ‘Strategic Patience’

Only a few miles from an Iraqi air base where hundreds of U.S. Marines are stationed — and only two weeks after they publicly burned to death a caged Jordanian pilot — ISIS militants have reportedly killed 45 people in the western Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi. The victims are said to have met their deaths by being burned alive.

Fox News reports that some of the dead in the latest mass atrocity committed by Islamic State barbarians are believed to have been members of security forces battling ISIS for control of the town.

Details of the slaughter by fire are still sketchy, though no U.S. personnel are said to have been killed. According to Fox News,

The reports come days after ISIS released a video purportedly showing the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians along a beach in Libya, sparking an international outcry, including commendation from Pope Francis, who called the killings “barbaric.”

Federal Judge Orders Obama to Immediately Stop His Executive Amnesty

Texas Federal Judge Andrew Hanen issued a temporary injunction halting the Executive Amnesty program announced last year by President Barack Obama. Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton responded to the late night decision by the judge.

The ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed on December 3rd, 2014, by then Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott (now Governor Abbott) on behalf of the State of Texas. At the time of the filing, Texas was joined by sixteen other states. That number has increased to twenty-six states, more than half of the country.

In the ruling (attached below), Judge Hanen wrote, “The ultimate question before the Court is: Do the laws of the United States, including the Constitution, give the Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) the power to take the action at issue in this case?” The judge laid out three issues to answer in this ruling: “(1) whether the States have standing to bring this case; (2) whether the DHS has the necessary discretion to institute the DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents) program; and (3) whether the DAPA program is constitutional, comports with existing laws, and was legally adopted.”

The Judge ruled that “at least one plaintiff has satisfied all the necessary elements to maintain a lawsuit and to obtain a temporary injunction.” This means that, not only can the lawsuit continue, but the judge has ordered that the President or the Secretary of Homeland Security cannot take action on the DAPA program. . .

Governor Abbott responded to the ruling handed down late Monday night. “President Obama abdicated his responsibility to uphold the United States Constitution when he attempted to circumvent the laws passed by Congress via executive fiat, and Judge Hanen’s decision rightly stops the President’s overreach in its tracks . . .” (Read more from “Federal Judge Orders Obama to Immediately Stop His Executive Amnesty” HERE)

Obama Should Have Been Publicly Ridiculed During the White House’s Cybersecurity Summit at Stanford [+video]

Photo Credit: APBy Mary Theroux. President Obama held a much-publicized White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection at Stanford last Friday, culminating with his signing onstage a new executive order calling for “collaboration” between government and technology companies to fight cyber crime.

Tech executives from Google, Yahoo, and Facebook to their credit declined invitations to attend, while Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage to advocate for privacy rights.

A far cry from days past when President Obama used Silicon Valley as an ATM machine to refill his campaign coffers. Regardless of how much Obama’s now being a lame duck may account for the change, we can but hope this shift in sentiment in the Valley remains permanent.

The audience attending the summit apparently saw no irony in Mr. Obama’s declaration that, “When people go online, they shouldn’t have to forfeit the basic privacy we’re assured as Americans.”

A noble sentiment, agreed, but Mr. Obama bears much of the responsibility for this forfeiture himself, having authorized the government programs under which these basic rights are violated—not once, but repeatedly, including annual re-authorizations of the NDAA, and multiple other programs that result in the wholesale capture and indefinite storage of every detail of every innocent American’s life. Every email, phone call, everyone’s location at any given time, every internet transaction, online search, etc.: you name it, Mr. Obama’s administration is purposely depriving every American of privacy rights every minute of every day—with tech and telecom companies duly “collaborating.” (Read more about the cybersecurity summit HERE)

Apple CEO Tim Cook Defends Privacy at Cybersecurity Summit

By Jeff Gammet. Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke at last Friday’s cybersecurity summit where he made a strong push to protect user privacy instead of handing over access to our digital worlds to the government. The event was orchestrated by the White House as a way to bring together tech industry leaders, academic experts, and government leaders to find a common ground for dealing with law enforcement and national security desires for easy access to our personal data.

No other big tech company CEOs were willing to take the stage and share their thoughts, but Mr. Cook didn’t hesitate. He said, “Everyone has a right to privacy and security,” making it clear he does not support the idea of giving government agencies back doors into our personal data.

Instead of creating new security threats that governments and hackers alike could exploit, Mr. Cook called for strong privacy and security measures to protect technology users. He said,

If those of us in positions of responsibility fail to do everything in our power to protect the right of privacy, we risk something far more valuable than money—we risk our way of life. Fortunately, technology gives us the tools to avoid these risks, and it’s my sincere hope that by using them and by working together, we will.

Apple has already taken steps to keep its customer’s data safe from prying eyes by refusing to store our personal information in a way it can decipher. Text-based chats are encrypted, too, and Apple doesn’t have the software keys needed to read their contents—those are held only by the conversation participants. (Read more from this story HERE)

Sister of Slain Chapel Hill Muslim Blames ‘American Sniper’ for Creating “Open Season on Islam” [+video]

By Tom Tillison. The grieving sister of one of three Muslim students killed in North Carolina this week blamed the “American Sniper” movie for contributing to the slaying, saying it is “open season against Islam” in America.

Deah Barakat, his wife, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and her younger sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, were shot execution-style in Chapel Hill on Tuesday, and neighbor Craig Stephen Hicks was arrested on murder charges, multiple media outlets have reported.

While police are still investigating, they have said a dispute over a parking space may have sparked the killings. But echoing the beliefs of the victims’ family, Dr. Suzanne Barakat told CNN’s Jake Tapper that her brother’s death was a hate crime motivated by anti-Muslim sentiments.

“It has been tremendously heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and support” in the shootings’ wake, Barakat said, though she lamented what she called a pervasive climate of hate and fear in America.

“It’s currently an open season, a time where it is an open season against Islam, Muslims in Washington, Muslims in the general media, dehumanizing Muslims in movies like ‘American Sniper.’” (Read more about the slain Chapel Hill student HERE)

After Claiming She Was Threatened at Gunpoint for Being a Muslim, UT-Arlington Student Admits She Lied

By Matt Peterson. A UT-Arlington student who claimed she was threatened at gunpoint on campus this week admitted Friday that she’d lied, a university spokeswoman said.

The student told police she hadn’t even been at the school the day she said the incident occurred.

UT-Arlington had been investigating the complaint with Arlington, Denton and University of North Texas police, school spokeswoman Kristin Sullivan said . . .

The university had issued an alert Friday that the student told police she had been followed six miles by a man in a pickup before she reached the campus. She had reported that when she parked at the university, the man threatened her and pointed a gun at her before he left.

The student also posted on social media that the man might have targeted her because she is Muslim. In a Facebook post, she referred to the killings of three Muslim students this week in Chapel Hill, N.C. (Read more from “Muslim Blames American Sniper” HERE)

Utah Legislature Considers Bringing Back an Outlawed Method of Execution, but Not Everyone Agrees

After remaining deadlocked in a four hour debate last Friday, the Utah Legislature is now one step closer to resurrecting the firing squad as a death penalty option. The use of firing squads in the state of Utah was halted in 2004 and current law states it is only to be used if lethal injection is unavailable.

Proponents of the bill cite recent cases in Arizona and Colorado, where botched lethal injections have led to potential Supreme Court challenges to the method.

The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Paul Ray (R-Clearfield), has voiced concerns over the unavailability and potential future legal issues with lethal injection as a mode of carrying out the death penalty:

“Back in 2004, we had no idea that at some time we would not have the drug cocktail available…we are facing a situation where we are going to have to go to court…to defend what we’re doing.”

Reverend Graham: ‘Imagine the Outcry if 21 Muslims Had Been Beheaded By Christians’

By Michael W. Chapman. The Islamic State beheaded 21 Egyptian Christians over the weekend, propping the severed heads on the victims’ backs, a barbaric slaughter that led Reverend Franklin Graham to ask, “Can you imagine the outcry if 21 Muslims had been beheaded by Christians?”

“Where is the universal condemnation by Muslim leaders around the world?” he asked.

The brutal killing of the 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians, who had been abducted in Libya by members of the Islamic State, was videotaped and the entire death film was posted online on Sunday, Feb. 15. It is entitled, “A Message Signed With Blood, To The Nation of the Cross.” (Read more on what Reverend Graham said HERE)

Beheading of 21 Christians Brings ISIS to the Doorstep of Europe

By Lizzie Dearden. The beheading of 21 Coptic Christians on a beach in Libya has brought Isis to the doorstep of Europe.

The mass murder, which provoked a volley of Egyptian air strikes on the group’s Libyan stronghold of Derna, realised long-held fears of militants reaching the Mediterranean coast.

Isis started in Iraq and now controls swathes of adjoining Syria, including along the Turkish border, as part of its so-called Islamic State.

Its ideology has spread much further, with pledges of allegiance from terrorist groups in Egypt, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Yemen and now Libya.

Days before Isis released its gory video depicting the Egyptians’ beheadings, Libya’s former Prime Minister warned that the group would soon reach the Mediterranean and even Europe if order was not restored in the country. (Read more from this story HERE)

New Epidemic of HIV in Cuba is Twice as Aggressive as Average Virus

By Payton Guion. Researchers are worried after discovering a new strain of HIV in Cuba that progresses to AIDS twice as fast as the average strain of the disease, leaving those infected with a preciously shorter window in which to seek treatment.

The strain – which is actually a mix of three subtypes of human immunodeficiency virus – can progress to AIDS within three years if left untreated, according to reports. The average HIV strain advances to AIDS in six to 10 years.

Mutated HIV viruses are more difficult to diagnose and the rapid nature of the new Cuban strain make it difficult to treat those with HIV before it is too late. Researchers have identified more than 60 strains of HIV type 1 because of mutations. (Read more about the HIV in Cuba being twice as aggressive as the average virus HERE)

Fast Acting HIV Strain in Cuba Troubles Aids Researchers

By Daniel Chang and Nora Gamez Torres. A strain of HIV that progresses to full-blown AIDS within three years if left untreated has become “epidemic” among newly infected patients in Cuba who reported having unprotected sex with multiple partners, according to a study published last week by international researchers working with patients and doctors in the Caribbean island nation.

The strain of human immunodeficiency virus — a combination of three subtypes of the virus — progresses so fast that researchers at Belgium’s Catholic University of Leuven said they worry patients infected with the mutated virus may not seek antiretroviral therapy until it’s too late.

The finding, published in the medical journal EBioMedicine, raises concerns among U.S. AIDS researchers who worry that mutated HIV viruses are more difficult to diagnose, might eventually become resistant to therapy and could challenge efforts to develop a vaccine.

Hector Bolivar, a physician and infectious-disease specialist with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, said the HIV research community has long known about the virus’ capacity to mutate and create new versions.

More than 60 strains of HIV type 1 exist in the world because of mutations. (Read more from this story HERE)

FCC Commissioner: Proposed FCC, FEC Regulations ‘Pretty Dangerous,’ will Ruin Internet

By Ian Hanchett. Republican FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai declared that President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet, coupled with potential FEC regulations would be “pretty dangerous” on Monday’s “Sean Hannity Show.”

When asked how a website like the Drudge Report would be impacted, Pai stated “there’s not much within the four corners of the document that hint at anything regarding content. What I can tell you is one my friends over at the Federal Election Commission, Lee Goodman has been outspoken about the fact that some of the commissioners there are very interested in looking at content online that, in their view, shapes the political discourse. And so if you pair what the FCC is doing in terms of the Internet’s infrastructure, and what the FEC might do in terms of the Internet’s content, you see a pretty dangerous combination in terms of government control over not just what we say, but how we say it.”

Regarding the impact of the plan on Internet users, he declared “bills for broadband are going to go up, this order opens the door to a vast array of federal and state fees because it’s going to be treating the Internet, for the first time, essentially as telephone service…Secondly, it’s going to mean that the speeds that your listeners use—the speeds your listeners get when they’re accessing the Internet are going to slow down because obviously these networks don’t build themselves. The private sector has to take the risk and invest the capital to build those networks and if they know the FCC’s going to micromanage them every step of the way, they’re going to be less likely to build some of those high-speed connections,” and that the regulations would lead to “much less competition” over the long term. FCC, FEC Look to Ruin the Internet

By Tammy Bruce. We knew this was coming. Within the last couple of weeks, both the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Election Commission declared their intention to regulate the Internet. Fascists always explain their actions as efforts to either make something more efficient, “fair,” or to supposedly “protect” their target. Sometimes they simply lie, like saying they’re nationalizing health insurance to make it more affordable and to increase access to health care.

Now, with the feds’ latest effort, their new slogan might as well be, “If you like your Internet, you can keep your Internet.” Make no mistake: The Internet is under assault and saving it is up to us.

Democrats and their liberal sycophants have been contemplating for years how best to smash the Internet. Open discussion among the great unwashed masses poses a threat to the superiorly educated and groomed establishment. First, it was the magnificence of the so-called Fairness Doctrine, which made free speech on the radio impossible. President Reagan’s reversal of that Orwellian control mechanism made talk radio possible (to say nothing of the likely increase of gastrointestinal disorders among liberals).

Even prior to that massive win for the First Amendment, the left had succeeded at co-opting the legacy media by swamping the staff and reporters with ideological true believers, making newspapers and the broadcast networks nothing more than PR agencies for the leftist agenda. China’s Secret Plan to Topple the US as the World’s Superpower

In 1995, Michael Pillsbury, an expert on China who has worked with every US president since Nixon and has, he writes, “arguably had more access to China’s military and intelligence establishment than any other Westerner,” was reading an article written by “three of China’s preeminent military experts” about “new technologies that would contribute to the defeat of the United States.”

The article described goals including “electromagnetic combat superiority” that would allow for “naval victory,” and “tactical laser weapons” that would “be used first in anti-missile defense systems.” They also discussed jamming and destroying radar and various communications systems, and the use of computer viruses. It was in this article that Pillsbury first saw the term “Assassin’s Mace,” which refers to a weapon from Chinese folklore that guarantees a small combatant victory over a larger, more powerful opponent . . .

“In the military context,” he writes, “Assassin’s Mace refers to a set of asymmetric weapons that allow an inferior power to defeat a seemingly superior adversary by striking at an enemy’s weakest point.””

At first, Pillsbury writes, he considered these statements aspirational. But as US intelligence analysts translated documents over time, he came to see otherwise. The Assassin’s Mace, he came to believe, was part of a cunning and much broader strategy, a 100-year-long effort to overtake the US as the world’s superpower.

The point of Assassin’s Mace — which, Pillsbury learned, the Chinese were already spending billions of dollars to develop — was to “make a generational leap in military capabilities that can trump the conventional forces of Western powers,” but to do so incrementally, so that by the time they achieved their goal, it would be too late for the US to respond to, much less reverse. WATCH: Famous Islamic Leader Gives Flat-Out Shocking Interview, Condemns Host On Air

Famous Islamic Leader Gives Flat-Out Shocking Interview

This week, we had Imam Choudary on the show. A famous Imam and leader in the Islamic community, what you’ll hear in this full-length interview is flat-out shocking.

Here’s one excerpt:

CROWDER: “Who carries out Shariah in the world most closely to your beliefs? Which country?”

CHOUDARY: “Well I don’t think any of them do quite frankly; but I believe that what is the project in Syria and Iraq and places in Moli, Somolia, etc are doing quite well.”

Moving on into the conversation, I challenged him on the ideas of freedom and how they work with Islam:

CROWDER: You don’t understand freedom.

CHOUDARY: I’m a lawyer by profession actually; and I teach comparative law, English and Sharia law. So I believe I understand freedom quite well.

CROWDER: Do you believe in freedom of speech? Do you believe someone should be able to draw or mock Muhammad and live?

CHOUDARY: I believe that there is no such thing as freedom of speech.

When nailed down on some fundamental issues with Islam, the Imam’s responses were veiled, elusive, and downright chilling.

CROWDER: “What about under Shariah Law beatings? What about hitting one’s wife? What about the lashings against Christians? Again, you’ve kind of wiggled around. You said Iraq and Syria are doing a god job so obviously we see that kinda of thing there. Where do you line up on that? Can you just condemn ANY kind of striking women at all? ANY kind of beating of Christians as unnecessary and uncivil?”

CHOUDARY: “Yes, I mean there’s nothing called beating Christians–there’s nothing even called beating your wife. Ya know, the prophet is the best example. He never laid a finger on any of his wives.”

Though he went on to clarify that it WAS okay to discipline one’s wife…. so long as you didn’t hit in the face.

CHOUDARY: After that (advising) it says discipline. But the prophet said that even in discipline, you must avoid the face…

Things get really dicey when asked about the “72 virgins” in heaven.

CHOUDARY: Well I could quote for you from your own Bible and Torah about things in paradise that ultimately we don’t make the comparison.

CROWDER: Well go ahead, I would love to hear those quotes. Where in the Bible does it promise virgins in heaven?

CHOUDARY: Well I don’t have the Bible in front of me…

Steven Crowder is a Christian, proud American, actor, and comedian.
