Reporter Makes Bombshell Announcement About Hillary’s Newly Released Emails That No One Realized

18817652771_ce102353e2_k-913x512Veteran reporter Sharyl Attkisson contends the latest batch of emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private server, released by the U.S. State Department, proves that the “law has been blatantly violated.”

The State Department Monday released over 7,000 emails as part of a court order from a federal judge. More than 25 percent of the Democratic presidential candidate’s emails have been disclosed.

Attkisson wrote the following on her personal website Tuesday after the emails were released:

The newly-released batch of Hillary Clinton emails provides further proof that Freedom of Information (FOI) law has been blatantly violated. The documents include material directly responsive to a FOI request I made back in 2012 after the Benghazi terrorist attacks on the U.S. compounds. However, the material was not produced at the time, as required by law. Once again, there appears to be nobody who holds government officials and agencies accountable for their routine violation of this law. So the infractions occur frequently and with impunity. If nobody policies our government officials and agencies–if they are above the law–then how does a lawful society function?

The former CBS News reporter also said she made several Freedom of Information Act requests for emails related to the terrorist attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya — including one sent by Clinton adviser Huma Abedin to Clinton on September 14, 2012. McConnell Plans to Fund Planned Parenthood

Mitch McConnellMajority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spent tens of millions of dollars on his reelection bid last year promising voters all the magnanimous things he’d do to stop Obama’s radical agenda were he crowned Majority Leader of the Senate. After less than a year in office McConnell has resigned his position and has bestowed the privilege of majority leader on the Democrat leader indefinitely.

Speaking to a local reporter in Hazard, Kentucky, McConnell has, once again, reiterated his intent to pass a budget bill continuing to fund Planned Parenthood because the Democrats told him so:

“We just don’t have the votes to get the outcome that we’d like,” McConnell said. “I would remind all of your viewers: The way you make a law in this country, the Congress has to pass it and the president has to sign it. The president has made it very clear he’s not going to sign any bill that includes defunding of Planned Parenthood, so that’s another issue that awaits a new president hopefully with a different point of view about Planned Parenthood.”

Let me remind all of our viewers that there is a legislative process and there is a budget process. With regards to the legislative process, both houses of Congress must pass a new statute in order to change the law, and the president must agree to sign the bill. Accordingly, McConnell is correct in asserting that without control of all branches of government, Republicans are unable to pass new laws. But the budget process works just the opposite. So long as just one body of Congress is controlled by Republicans and they refuse to fund a certain aspect of government, that function is not funded. It takes just one body of government to wield the power of the purse; it takes all three branches to fund government.

But won’t the federal government shutdown when the Democrats balk at a funding bill that excludes their sacred funding for #PlannedButcherhood?

Freeze frame at this point. It is this question and this political dynamic that proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the current Republican Party does not share our values. We are not asking for a funding fight over something like Social Security, the minimum wage, or labor laws. We are asking that, in chronicling the barbaric harvesting and selling of organs from babies, taxpayer funding not be sent to these groups. If Republicans are incapable of messaging this to the American people and confidently declaring without a shred of diffidence in their voices that Democrats will rue the day for shutting down the government in order to fund torture of babies, they should just shut the lights in their stuffy offices and resign.

Here’s the dirty little secret Mitch McConnell refuses to divulge. He is accepting the premise that Democrats win every showdown – no matter the issue or the circumstances. Under his premise and his system of governance, it will make absolutely no difference if Republicans win back the White House in 2016. Well, let’s take a trip into the future and picture this scenario unfolding in 2017. Republicans win the White House and maintain control of Congress, albeit with a slim majority in the Senate. Democrats will filibuster every single minor legislative vehicle, much less something as important to them as funding for abortions. What will McConnell do come budget time? They simply won’t have the votes to even get the bill to the president’s desk.

What’s worse, the public is more likely to blame Republicans for a shutdown when they officially control all levers of government. Wait for McConnell’s lame excuses: “just wait until 2019 and let us win a super-majority in the Senate.” And you know what? Even if that happens, there will always be a number of Republicans who will join with the Democrats in opposing any bold reforms.

Without real leadership and without leaders who share our values, every noble idea will be stymied by insurmountable odds. The excuses never end.

Earlier this summer, Mark Levin publicly called for McConnell to resign. It’s time for all conservatives to follow suit. It’s time for the GOP presidential candidates to be asked if this is the leader they want in the Senate as quarterback for their legislative and budgetary initiatives. Perhaps, the answer to that question will reveal more about them than any of their statements on policy issues. EU Faces Migrant Crisis of ‘Biblical Proportions’ as Germany Registers 3,500 New Refugees in Just One Day [+video]

Migrants-police-of_3425550nBy Harriet Alexander and James Rothwell. A record 3,500 migrant arrivals have been registered in a southern border region with Austria since Monday morning, German federal police have said.

The arrivals have spiked as passenger trains, each packed with hundreds of refugees, headed from Hungary through Austria into Germany’s southern Bavaria state, a spokesman said Tuesday.

(skip forward to 11:30 in the below video to listen to an in-depth discussion of Europe’s immigration crisis)

It was the highest number recorded by any of Germany’s 10 federal police districts since the start of the migrant crisis that is expected to bring 800,000 newcomers to Europe’s top economy this year.

The numbers were registered by the Munich police district, which stretches from the Bavarian state capital down to the Austrian border, between 0600 GMT Monday and 1230 GMT Tuesday, the spokesman told AFP. Canada Officially Enters Recession

By Michel Comte. Reeling from low oil prices, Canada fell into a recession in the first half of the year, government data confirmed Tuesday, putting Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper on the defensive in the run-up to October elections.

According to Statistics Canada, the economy contracted 0.5 percent in the second quarter after retreating 0.8 percent in the previous three months.

It is Canada’s second recession in seven years and it is the only Group of Seven nation in economic retreat. The figures are the weakest since the 2008 global financial crisis.

The data reflects fears about the health of the global economy as more gloomy evidence emerged of a slowdown in China, a main engine of growth worldwide.

Harper, whose Tories are trailing their rivals in opinion polls ahead of the October 19 election, blamed the overseas turmoil for Canada’s woes, and emphasized an expansion in the economy in June. (Read more from this story HERE)

Obama Finally Breaks His Silence on Slain Texas Cop, but Ignores Something Huge

shutterstock_165732764-913x512The increasingly violent tone of national rhetoric that a Texas sheriff recognized as a contributing factor in the murder of one of his deputies was left unaddressed in a White House statement regarding last Friday’s murder of Deputy Darren Goforth.

President Obama’s Monday night statement expressed official regrets at the incident.

“Targeting police officers is completely unacceptable – an affront to civilized society,” the statement said. “As I said in my State of the Union Address, we’ve got to be able to put ourselves in the shoes of the wife who won’t rest until the police officer she married walks through the door at the end of his shift.

“That comfort has been taken from Mrs. Goforth,” the statement continued. “So we must offer her our comfort – and continue to stand up for the safety of police officers wherever they serve.”

The statement did not address the wider context of the shooting, as America debates the degree to which the Black Lives Matter movement is serving as an instigator for violence. Other voices have done so.

Joseph Evans, Jr., the former vice chairman and executive director of the Jefferson County, TX, Republican Party, released a video that called for a level of reaction Obama did not take. (Read more from “Obama Finally Breaks His Silence on Slain Texas Cop, but Ignores Something Huge” HERE)

Donald Trump: It’s Mental Health, Not a Gun Problem

109890806VA021_Comedy_CentrBy Jeremy Diamond. Donald Trump said Thursday he is opposed to tightening gun laws in the U.S. but is in favor of addressing mental health to prevent shootings, after a man shot two journalists on live television.

“This isn’t a gun problem, this is a mental problem,” Trump told CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “New Day.” “It’s not a question of the laws, it’s really the people.”

Calling the gunman a “very sick man,” Trump said mental illness is “a massive problem” in the U.S. He suggested more resources should be devoted to addressing mental health — hoping to prevent shootings like the one in Virginia, which he called “really, very sad.”

Trump did not offer specific solutions to addressing the mental health problem, but said there are ‘”so many things that can be done” and repeatedly said the Virginia shooter, who killed himself Wednesday after killing two others, should have been “institutionalized.”

“In the old days they had mental institutions for people like this because he was really, definitely borderline and definitely would have been and should have been institutionalized,” Trump told Cuomo. “At some point somebody should have seen that, I mean the people close to him should have seen it.” (Read more from “Donald Trump: It’s Mental Health, Not a Gun Problem” HERE)

Donald Trump Says He Wants to Raise Taxes on Himself

By David Knowles. Republican front-runner Donald Trump began to flesh out his economic vision for America, and it includes raising taxes on the wealthy.

Trump said during a Wednesday interview on Bloomberg’s With All Due Respect that he would like to change the tax code.

“I would change it. I would simplify it,” Trump told hosts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann from the lobby of Trump Tower on New York’s 5th Ave. Specifically, Trump targeted hedge fund profits, which are currently taxed at a lower rate than regular income.

“I would take carried interest out, and I would let people making hundreds of millions of dollars-a-year pay some tax, because right now they are paying very little tax and I think it’s outrageous,” Trump said. “I want to lower taxes for the middle class.”

Asked whether his proposed changes meant he was prepared to raise taxes on himself, the billionaire framed his answer in terms of fairness. (Read more from this story HERE)

Why Voters’ Anger Will Only Increase

BallotCastingStationsAccording to the latest batch of polls, Iowa Caucus voters are literally “mad as Hell” at Washington, D.C. and the Republican Party.

But if pollsters think voters are fed up now, they ain’t seen nothing yet. Because you can rest assured this fall the surrender caucus GOP Establishment has another round of “Failure Theater” all lined up and ready to go on every issue conservatives care about.

That’s when the latest fictional budgetary D-Day occurs. You know, either some kind of spending deal is hammered out and signed by then or its Great Depression meets Zombie Apocalypse. Otherwise known as shutting down less than 20 percent of the federal government almost everybody hates.

Scary stuff.

Back in 2013, the fight to defund Obamacare was the leverage spectacularly squandered by the GOP after 16 days of mostly fake missing government. This time, the defunding of Planned Parenthood is the cause macabre.

One approach being discussed on that front doesn’t even shrink the overall budget per se, but simply transfers all the federal money now directed at baby butchers to other women’s health programs that don’t kill babies and sell their parts for illegal profit. And even if the budget was cut, it would be a victory on a simply financial level dwarfed in its significance by eliminating Obamacare’s drag on the economy.

Furthermore, simply stripping Planned Parenthood of taxpayer money doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t continue to execute as many innocents as it pleases for the time being. Seems like something the establishment would be ready and willing to demagogue as unwilling to go to war over. But there is a window open for action because of the gruesome Planned Parenthood videos that have exposed the intrinsic evil that is that death merchant.

Of course, right on cue, Quisling-in-chief “Ditch” McConnell has already woke up from his usual nap to signal his willingness to side with death over decency yet again, just as he has for years. And yet recent polling out of Iowa (and everywhere else) is absolutely brutal for the poor saps interested in following in the clay footsteps of Mitt Romney and John McCain. For example, a whopping two-thirds of Iowa Caucus goers are currently split among Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, and Carly Fiorina – the four outsiders pursuing the nomination.

Quick, somebody smack the GOP establishment on the forehead and scream “hello, McFly.”

Instead, it’s “stupid is as a stupid does” for the surrender caucus, who’s getting the jump on an autumn’s worth of pre-capitulation show votes by pretending to oppose Obama’s Faustian Bargain with Iran. Oh, yes, they’re planning a resolution of disapproval. Boy that will certainly have the Marxist in the White House putting away his pen and his phone out of fear. And if that doesn’t work, Boehner-McConnell are really going to escalate hostilities by threatening a sharply-worded joint blog in the Wall Street Journal’s editorial page.

Scary stuff.

So what will be left to try in just a matter of weeks when the establishment’s 2016 presidential hopes will almost certainly be on the wrong side of oblivion? Well, a financial windfall of donations from their sugar daddies on K-Street. Otherwise known as “manna from Heaven” to the GOP establishment. This is a government by the lobbyists and for the lobbyists after all.

And while they’re raking in the dough, they will willfully ignore the anger of the party they’re supposed to be leading, which cuts across all previous ideological divides. The GOP establishment has managed to finally unite the Republican Party’s disparate factions—against themselves.

In the meantime, the outsider candidates will grow even stronger than they are now, as we head into the winter’s first votes in Iowa after an entire fall of Boehner’s “crying game” and McConnell-scowls. Trump will go Spinal Tap and dial the putdowns up to eleven. Carson will become a more transcendent force in politics by uniting people against the system as a whole. Cruz will become the champion of the conservative grassroots after he’s seen leading the fight against the Washington Cartel at every turn. Fiorina’s sense and sensibility will be a glaring contrast to the “can’t do” rancid spirit of the beltway.

The entire whitewashed tomb that is the GOP establishment is being choked out before our very eyes. Not only that, it has no shot at coming back to life without elevating some of the very conservative causes it has scorned for so long, and even if it does elevate them it is likely to work for the benefit of somebody far more deserving instead.

There’s a full loaf of GOP establishment toast now, and the torches and pitchforks crowd want it burned to a crisp, God bless ‘em. (For more from the author of “Why Voters’ Anger Will Only Increase” please click HERE)

Students Stage Walk out Over Transgender Student Using Girls’ Locker Room

lilaCrowds of protesters gathered in front of Hillsboro High School in Missouri to express their thoughts about a transgender student using the girls’ locker room.

More than 150 students walked out of class in protest, 30-40 of which were in support of senior Lila Perry’s right to use the girls’ locker room during gym class, Fox 10 reported.

“There’s a lot of ignorance, they are claiming that they’re uncomfortable,” Perry, who was born a male but said he identified as a female since age 13, told Fox 10. “I don’t believe for a second that they are. I think this is pure and simple bigotry” . . .

“Boys needs to have their own locker room,” Jeff Childs said. “Girls need to have their own locker room and if somebody has mixed feelings where they are, they need to have their own also” . . .

“I wasn’t hurting anyone and I didn’t want to feel segregated out,” Perry said. “I didn’t want to be in the gender neutral bathroom. I am a ‘girl’, I shouldn’t be pushed off to another bathroom.” (Read more from “Students Stage Walk out Over Transgender Student Using Girls’ Locker Room” HERE)

Why Jeb’s Flip-Flopping Charges Against Trump May Flop [+videos]

trump_y_bush.jpg_1718483346Facing a barrage of attacks from Donald Trump, Jeb Bush is going nuclear on the Republican presidential front-runner by trying to paint him as a closeted liberal. A web video released Tuesday by the former Florida governor splices old clips of Trump expressing liberal positions.

The flip-flopper charge has been devastating to some past presidential candidates. But experts in the political science of flip-flopping doubt Jeb’s attacks will damage Trump.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if these attacks are less effective than you’d think,” said political scientist Robert Van Houweling, who co-authored a 2012 paper with Michael Tomz about the effects of “political repositioning” on voting. “He’s moving towards the primary electorate and a lot of people in the primary electorate will welcome that.”

Bush’s video features Trump calling himself pro-choice in 1999, identifying “more as a Democrat” in 2004 and praising Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton while she was a senator from New York. The video emphasizes Trump’s statements that he’s from New York . . .

Trump responded by assailing Bush for a “flailing campaign” and reiterating in two follow-up tweets his claim that the Floridian is beholden to his donors. Later Tuesday he posted an Instagram video with 2013 footage of a Jeb speech honoring Hillary Clinton’s public service.

Blood Moon: ISIS, Nuclear Bombs and Walmart Plumbing Woe ‘Prove’ World WILL End in 28 Days [+video]

Blood-Moon-602258Outlandish prophecies that huge earthquakes will destroy the Earth on September 28 continue to flood the internet.

The latest come from husband and wife evangelist couple Anita and Ignacio Fuentes, from Rancho Cucamonga, in California, who have laughed off claims they received multiple death threats, but said the threatening letters they received were among a long list of prophetic events in the run up to the Blood Moon.

The Blood Moon prophecy began when two Christian preachers with huge followings in the US claimed the date of the last of four ‘blood moons’ over the past 18 months, due to occur at the end of September, would signal the end of the world as we know it before the “second coming of Jesus Christ” . . .

Among the list of unconnected world events are global nuclear tensions and financial crashes, Chinese hack attacks on the US, multiple animal deaths, the Jade Helm military operation in the USA, the emergence of the occult game Charlie Charlie and the CERN hadron collider being turned back on.

Other seemingly less significant recent events they list as more evidence include “several Walmart stores closing in the US over plumbing issues for six months,” two drones penetrating the grounds of the White House, a meteor shower, bankers and natural health practitioners dropping dead mysteriously, and two cows being born with the number seven on their faces. Ice War Cometh: Russia Preps for Conflict in Arctic as Obama Visits, Promises More US Icebreakers

barack-obama (3)While visiting Alaska and becoming the first American president to enter the Arctic Circle, President Obama announced Tuesday he would speed up the acquisition of icebreakers to help the U.S. Coast Guard navigate an area that Russia and China increasingly see as a new frontier.

The announcement is the latest power play in the Arctic north, where melting ice has led to a race for resources and access.

Forty percent of the world’s oil and natural gas reserves lie under the Arctic. Melting ice also would lead to new shipping routes, and Russia wants to establish a kind of Suez Canal which it controls. More than a Cold War, Russia may be preparing for an Ice War, and the Pentagon is taking note.

Last March, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a snap, full combat military exercise in Russia’s Arctic north to mark the anniversary of his annexation of Crimea — with 40,000 Russian troops, dozens of warships and submarines . . .

“We do not seek to make Russia an enemy,” Defense Secretary Ash Carter said. “But make no mistake: while Vladimir Putin may be intent on turning the clock back in Russia, he cannot turn the clock back in Europe. We will defend our allies.” (Read more from “Ice War Cometh: Russia Preps for Conflict in Arctic as Obama Visits, Promises More US Icebreakers” HERE)
