Government Has Assisted-Suicide Supporter Protecting Charlie Gard

As Charlie Gard’s struggle for life continues, his parents have expressed concern after finding out that the lawyer appointed by the court procedures to protect their son’s interests heads an organization that believes in assisted dying.

According to the Telegraph, Victoria Butler-Cole, who represents Charlie Gard in court, is chairman of an organization called Compassion in Dying. Its sister organization, Dignity in Dying, used to be called the Voluntary Euthanasia Society.

Butler-Cole was appointed to be Charlie’s representative by Cafcass, a state organization in the United Kingdom which is supposed to act in the best interests of children involved in court cases.

A source close to Charlie’s parents, Chris Gard and Connie Yates, told the Telegraph that “The implication is obvious. It looks like a profound conflict of interest.”

Although Compassion in Dying doesn’t directly advocate for assisted suicide, its chairman and board members can only serve as such if they support the aims of its sister organization, Dignity in Dying, which does. Pantsuit on Fire: Hillary Haunted by Own (Mis)Conduct

More than eight months after Hillary Clinton’s election loss, her use of a private email server and other conduct during her tenure as U.S. secretary of state continue to haunt her.

A newly released batch of documents obtained by Judicial Watch showcases numerous instances of Clinton Foundation donors receiving favors from the State Department.

In one email exchange, Huma Abedin, Clinton’s former deputy chief of staff in the State Department and longtime aide, negotiated who the next the U.S. ambassador to Barbados would be after Clinton Global Initiative executive Doug Band recommended a candidate to fill the position.

“I know, he’s emailed a few times,” Abedin said in reply to Band’s request. “But she wants to give someone else.”

Another exchange shows Band instructing Abedin to “show love” to Andrew Liveris, CEO of Dow Chemical. (Read more from “Pantsuit on Fire: Hillary Haunted by Own (Mis)Conduct” HERE)

Child Sex Trafficking in the US Is Exploding, Govt Admits They Aren’t Stopping It

A recent report on the number of sexually exploited children in Florida gives insight into a horrific world that is often ignored by the media, and that rarely holds millionaires, politicians and even local officials accountable for their involvement.

A report from the Florida legislature’s Office of Program Policy Analysis & Government Accountability concluded that the state’s Department of Children and Family (DCF) and its lead agencies “have not resolved issues related to serving commercially sexually exploited children.”

The report found that in 2016, 356 verified commercially sexually exploited child victims were identified, as opposed to 264 identified in 2015. It noted that many of the victims who were identified earlier were, “both children in child welfare dependency and those living in the community with family—have since been re-victimized, involved with the criminal justice system, or only attended school intermittently.”

During 2016, DCF’s Florida Abuse Hotline received 2,013 reports alleging the CSE of children, which is a 57% increase over the 2015 reports. Child protective investigators investigated 1,386 (or 69%) of those reports. Counties with the highest number of CSE reports include Miami-Dade (248), Broward (232), Orange (150), and Hillsborough (144). DCF hotline staff did not refer cases for investigation if the allegation did not rise to the level of reasonable (74%), there were no means to locate the victim (11%), or the alleged perpetrator was not the child’s caregiver (8%). Of the reports that were referred for investigation, most came from DJJ, the Department of Corrections, or criminal justice personnel (20%) and law enforcement (15%).

In 2016, the National Human Trafficking Hotline received reports of 7,572 human trafficking cases, which was a substantial increase from 5,544 cases in 2015 and 5,042 cases in 2014. Florida ranked third on the list with 550 cases, behind Texas with 670 cases and California with 1,323 cases.

Out of the 7,572 human trafficking cases reported in the United States in 2016, the majority or 5,551 were “sex trafficking” cases, and 2,387 of the reported victims were minors.

The report on child sex trafficking in Florida suggested that the increase in victims was due to the process DCF and the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) use to “select children to screen as well as the screening tool itself may limit accurate identification of CSE child victims.”

The report also noted that 62 percent of the children who were labeled as commercially sexually exported remained “in the community and are referred to voluntary, local services.” As a result, “no data is readily available on whether the children use these services.”

The Free Thought Project has provided extensive coverage of the sex trafficking epidemic in the U.S., especially in relation to minors who become victims after they are kidnapped from their homes and placed in foster care.

In April, two pastors who were foster care advocates were arrested for running a child sex ring in Ohio. The pastors, who had influence on their county’s Child Service’s Board of Trustees, were charged with “recruiting, enticing and transporting people the men knew were under 18 to engage in sex acts for pay.” The trafficking was ongoing for at least three years, and initially began with a 14-year-old girl.

In June, a lawsuit was filed in the case of a 5-year-old girl who was given to the leader of a child sex ring in Arizona. She was taken from her mother who was battling an addiction with substance abuse, and she was put in the custody of a pedophile who sexually abused her, tortured her, and ultimately left her fighting for her life.

The recent report from Florida is another reminder that child sex trafficking is a horrific element of the human trafficking epidemic that has been ongoing and increasing in the United States. While government involvement has always been an element, it has yet to put a stop to the increasing number of children who are subjected to life-altering abuse on a daily basis. Cop Named Mohamed Shoots, Kills Unarmed Woman Who Called 911

The Minneapolis cop who shot and killed a 40-year-old woman after she called 9-1-1 to report a possible crime near her home was identified Monday as the precinct’s first Somali-American officer — Mohamed Noor.

Noor has only been a police officer for two years and has already been sued for alleged unprofessional behavior. The May 2017 lawsuit also involved a female and accusations of brutality . . .

Justine Ruszczyk Damond, a native of Sydney, Australia, was a veterinarian and a yoga instructor who recently got engaged to longtime boyfriend Don Damond. She and her fiancé lived in the 5000 block of Washburn.

Her fiance was out of town on business Saturday when she heard a commotion in the alley, then picked up the phone to call 9-1-1 to report a possible sexual assault in progress. She ended up being shot dead by one of the two responding officers . . .

KSTP, citing a source with direct knowledge of the shooting, reported that Noor was sitting in the passenger seat of the squad car at the time of the shooting and “shot across his partner” at Damond, who approached the officers’ car in her pajamas and began talking to the officer in the driver’s seat. House Votes for Transgender Military Fighting … The Weather

If you had told me 10 years ago that there’d be a vote in the U.S. Congress over whether to fund sex-change operations in the military and to task our military to fight against the weather, I’d have said such an initiative would garner the support of a handful of the most extreme Democrats from New York and San Francisco. Yet after yesterday’s votes in the House, we’ve now reached a point when not to support these absurdities is the minority view in Washington.

It also demonstrates just how far to the Left the entire body politic has moved and explains why conservatives, through their soft bigotry of low expectations, have tolerated so many acts of political adultery from the GOP — as long as they are half a step to the right of the Democrats.

Yesterday afternoon, the House convened a marathon session to vote on a series of amendments to the FY 2018 defense bill (NDAA), which authorizes $688 billion for the Pentagon and related defense spending. As I warned in June, the NDAA provides us with a unique opportunity to end the egregious social engineering in our military, some of which is being dealt with by the Trump administration and some of which, unfortunately, is not. In other words, the policies are more important than the debate over spending figures. There are two amendments that are worth highlighting.

Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., proposed an amendment to strip out recently inserted language tasking the military with fighting … the weather! At a time when we are confronted with Islamic jihadists, Iran, North Korea, and China, the House Armed Services Committee added a provision to the NDAA making it the mission of the military to “address combatant commander requirements resulting from climate change over the next 20 years.” Sadly, this effort is broadly supported by Sec. of Defense James Mattis and the other liberals still running the Pentagon. Yet Perry’s effort to strip out the provision and actually focus the military on … you know … fighting the enemy, failed by a vote of 185-234. Every Democrat and 46 Republicans voted against the Perry amendment and for a global warming brigade.

After focusing our military on fighting the weather, what else can we do to destroy their morale and turn the pride of the nation into a laughingstock in the eyes of the enemy?

Well, we can create a transgender brigade and pay for sex-change operations and hormone therapy in the military. Rep. Vicki Hartzler, R-Mo., proposed an amendment to bar the funding of sex-change operations in the military. Yet once again, 24 Republicans joined every Democrat to uphold taxpayer-funded castration in the military.

Here are the 24 Republicans:

Amash (MI-03)

Bergman (MI-01)

Coffman (CO-06)

Comstock (VA-10)

Cook (CA-08)

Costello (PA-06)

Curbelo (FL-26)

Denham (CA-10)

Dent (PA-15)

Faso (NY-19)

Fitzpatrick (PA-08)

Issa (CA-49)

Katko (NY-24)

Knight (CA-25)

Lance (NJ-07)

LoBiondo (NJ-02)

MacArthur (NJ-03)

Mast (FL-18)

Reed, T. (NY-23)

Reichert (WA-08)

Ros-Lehtinen (FL-27)

Shuster (PA-09)

Stefanik (NY-21)

Tenney (NY-22)

It’s not just the absurdity of debasing our military and the logistical nightmare of promoting transgenderism in the military. By covering sex-change operations with taxpayer funding, this means someone can sign up for the military and secure an immediate paycheck but delay deployment for as long as two years of his tenure. Such a person gets at least two years after the surgery for hormone therapy and must be certified “stable” in his or her new gender before deployment, all the while taking up the slot of someone without a terrible mental disorder who could be deployed to defend this country.

Some might observe that most Republicans indeed voted against this insanity and that this was the work of just 24 Republicans. But notice the closeness of the vote – 209-214. When Republican leaders want a certain outcome, such as passing a phony health care bill or a Democrat budget, they make sure they get the votes. They do everything short of waterboarding conservative members to fall in line. No such whipping took place with these votes. In fact, all but a handful of Republicans were probably relieved the amendment was voted down and just voted no because they knew it wouldn’t pass. Leadership couldn’t care less about any of our priorities.

As we watch Republicans move so far to the Left on health care in a matter of just a few months, these votes provide a background into just how successful Democrats are in pushing the Republican Party to the Left. Just a few years ago, Paul Ryan was talking about making even Medicare and existing government-run programs more free market. Now, almost every Republican believes in destroying the market in even the little remaining private sector. Then again, a party that can’t stand up for the most self-evident truths of natural law and natural science in the military during a time of international peril most certainly cannot understand or articulate free market health care.

We now live in a society where both parties essentially believe it’s settled science that weather changes are immutably driven by human behavior, but a Y chromosome can really be changed to an X. Pennsylvania Murder Tied to Online Cult

A Pennsylvania man allegedly murdered by his girlfriend on Saturday may have asked her to kill him to escape a cult that warned about alien invasions and the end of days, investigators revealed.

Barbara Rogers, 42, has been charged with criminal homicide and is being held without bail after calling 911 to report the death of her boyfriend, 32-year-old Steven Mineo. Rogers was suspected of firing the fatal shot into his forehead at close-range in their Coolbaugh Township apartment at his request, according to Monroe County police.

“She identified that the deceased was having online issues with a cult and he wanted to be killed and he requested she do it,” Lt. Steven Williams with Pocono Mountain Regional Police said. “Apparently they belong to a cult. He was upset with the cult, felt he was being harassed, and he was frustrated. And he asked his girlfriend to kill him. And she did.”

The online organization includes literature pertaining to “new-age alien agenda” and accents apocalyptic biblical themes from the Book of Revelation, Williams said. (Read more from “Pennsylvania Murder Tied to Online Cult” HERE)

Planned Parenthood Video Trial – Is Free Speech or Privacy Under Fire?

David Daleiden calls himself a citizen journalist. His method for getting information is to lie about who he is, then record what people tell him without their knowledge. Because he got officials from Planned Parenthood to discuss selling the body parts of aborted fetuses, he is being charged with fifteen criminal felony counts . . .

The charges against Deleiden were announced last March by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra in a press release that identified his accusers as Doe #1 through 14. The 15th felony charge is for conspiracy. In a related civil case, a federal judge issued an injunction forbidding Deleiden from releasing other surreptitiously recorded videos . . .

Deleiden’s case was initially opened by Becerra’s predecessor, Kamala Harris, who last November was elected to the U.S. Senate. Ferreira claims that Planned Parenthood lobbied Harris to bring the charges to punish Deleiden. Says co-counsel Steve Cooley, “This is a politically motivated prosecution” . . .

Deleiden doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong as a journalist. “”I’m a skilled citizen journalist who orchestrated an in-depth undercover study of the country’s biggest abortion business,” he told me. “I’m not the only person doing stuff like this. There’s a new generation of citizen journalists who use these tactics. But because we went after the sacred cows of the California political establishment, they’re bringing the hammer down on me” . . .

“It’s not a crime to lie or misrepresent yourself,” Deleiden says. “If we accept that it is, we would have no undercover police operations, no undercover journalism. It’s a non-literal use of information to capture a bigger truth.” (Read more from “Planned Parenthood Video Trial – Is Free Speech or Privacy Under Fire?” HERE)

Health Care Bill on Hold Because of McCain’s Health

Sen. John McCain’s absence from the Senate as he recovers from surgery for a blood clot has led the GOP leadership to postpone consideration of health care legislation already on the brink.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Saturday night he was deferring action on the measure as McCain recovers at his home in Arizona. Surgeons in Phoenix removed a blood clot from above McCain’s left eye on Friday. The 80-year-old Senate veteran was advised by doctors to remain in Arizona next week, his office said.

“While John is recovering, the Senate will continue our work on legislative items and nominations, and will defer consideration of the Better Care Act,” McConnell said in a statement. (Read more from “Health Care Bill on Hold Because of McCain’s Health” HERE)

‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Weighs Senate Run

Olympic gold medalist and transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner is the latest celebrity to reveal [he] has considered launching a run for Senate, telling radio host John Catsimatidis [he] is in the process of determining [his] future in activism and politics.

“I have considered it. I like the political side of it,” Jenner, who is a Republican, told Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York.

“The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside? Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that,” she said.
“Yeah but I would look for a senatorial run,” [he] continued.

Jenner told CNN’s Don Lemon in April [he] would “seriously look at a run for office.” (Read more from “‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Weighs Senate Run” HERE)
