Trump, McConnell, Pence Call for Full, Clean Obamacare Repeal

President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called for the full, clean repeal of Obamacare in late-night statements Monday.

The statements were released after four Republican senators backed away from the repeal-and-replace bill, leaving McConnell unable to reach the 60 votes required to bring the bill to the floor.

“Regretfully, it is not apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure Obamacare will not be successful,” McConnell followed in a statement 31 minutes later, at 11:48 p.m.

“So,” he continued, “in the coming days, the Senate will vote to take up the House bill with the first amendment in order being what a majority of the Senate already supported in 2015 and that was vetoed by then-President Obama: a repeal of Obamacare with a two-year delay to provide for a state transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable care.”

Trump’s Son in Less Legal Jeopardy Than Son-In-Law Over Russia Meeting, FBI Veteran Says

Even if Donald Trump Jr. helped set up a meeting last year with a Russian lawyer in hopes of learning dirt on Hillary Clinton, the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and another official Trump campaign operative could face greater legal problems, a former FBI official says.

“For today, and this could change tomorrow, but today I would say that Donald Jr. was not a member of government and does not have a legal obligation,” Ron Hosko, a former assistant FBI director who was assigned to the agency’s Criminal Investigative Division, told The Daily Signal.

“If it is proven that Donald Trump Jr. was gleefully willing to go to a meeting with a Russian agent, the question is still: What is his legal obligation?”

President Donald Trump’s eldest son last week released an email chain from June 2016 concerning his interest in attending a meeting that turned out to be with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and others.

Trump Jr. expressed that interest after an entertainment promoter who was a business acquaintance told him that someone connected with the Russian government wanted to share negative information about Clinton, who was about to become Democrats’ nominee for president.

Veselnitskaya provided no such information and wanted to talk about adoption policy, Trump Jr. said.

Trump also had yet to win the Republican nomination. But critics and political opponents say the meeting proves a willingness by the president’s son to “collude” with someone he thought was associated with the Russian government.

Trump Jr., now executive director of the Trump Organization, had no formal role in his father’s presidential campaign. But two others who attended the same meeting last summer did: Paul Manafort, then campaign manager, and Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, who worked in a variety of campaign roles.

The legal situation could be entirely different for Manafort and Kushner, said Hosko, now president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, which provides legal advice and covers some legal fees in duty-related cases.

“Now that is different.,” Hosko said of Manafort and Kushner. “They are more directly affiliated with the campaign, and one is serving in government.”

“That will be up to Bob Mueller to prove [Trump Jr.’s] affiliation with the campaign,” he said.

If the meeting was illegal, Hosko said, “after-the-fact conspiracy” to cover it up could be a crime, even if the three didn’t realize the meeting was illegal at the time.

“If Donald Trump Jr. was not a member of the campaign, did he aid and abet in the conspiracy?” Hosko said. “He could wiggle out from … being a part of the campaign or government, but he could still be part of a conspiracy.”

Liberal government watchdog groups last week filed a complaint with the Justice Department and the Federal Election Commission accusing Trump Jr., Manafort, and Kushner of illegally soliciting a campaign contribution from a foreign national. Their argument: Opposition research was something of value potentially offered by a Russian national with alleged ties to the Kremlin.

Manafort previously disclosed the meeting to House and Senate intelligence committees.

Kushner amended his Standard Form 86, required for a security clearance as a senior adviser to the president, to account for various meetings. The president’s son-in-law did not initially disclose this one, but last week included it on a supplemental form.

Details on the meeting with the Russian lawyer emerged weeks after the Justice Department named former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential race, including any evidence of collusion with the Trump campaign. Congressional committees also are investigating.

The president said on Twitter that his son did what anyone would do during a campaign:

During the White House briefing Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer again characterized the meeting as having been thought to be part of opposition research that happens in most political campaigns.

In “the heat of a campaign,” Spicer said, people “quite often” ask about outside offers to provide negative information on an opponent.

“That’s what he simply did,” Spicer said of Trump Jr.

As it turned out, and as the president “has made clear through his tweet,” the White House press secretary added, the meeting proved to be about nothing “other than adoption.”

Kushner reportedly left the meeting early, while Manafort was preoccupied with his smartphone.

Asked about a hypothetical situation, Trump’s nominee as FBI director, Christopher Wray, said during a Senate hearing last week that he would advise those involved with a campaign to “consult with some good legal advisers” before having a meeting with a foreign national related to opposition research.

“To the members of this committee: Any threat or effort to interfere with our elections from any nation-state or nonstate actor is the kind of thing the FBI would want to know,” Wray told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The progressive groups Common Cause, the Campaign Legal Center, and Democracy 21 filed the complaint with the Justice Department and the Federal Election Commission.

“The emails released by Donald Trump Jr. reveal, in no uncertain terms, his choice to place his blind support for his father’s candidacy before any allegiance to the nation’s security,” Karen Hobert Flynn, president of Common Cause, said in a prepared statement, adding:

Democracy is not a real estate deal or a New York solid waste pickup contract, but that is how these three Trump campaign officials treated it in agreeing to meet to accept opposition research they believed came from the Russian government. These revelations require prompt and thorough investigation by the DOJ and FEC for the good of the nation.

Global Warming Extremists Urge Gov’t to Teach Kids to Have Fewer Babies

Governments and schools should be teaching kids to have fewer children in order to reduce climate change.

That’s according to a study published in Environmental Research Letters, in which University of British Columbia grad student Seth Wynes and Sweden’s Lund University professor Kimberley Nicholas calculate how individual actions cut greenhouse gas emissions.

They claim having one fewer child is a “high impact action” far eclipsing any other in effectiveness.

The study has received widespread attention, reported uncritically in the mainstream media, such as the left-leaning U.K. Guardian, and generating controversy across the conservative blogosphere and Twitter.

But Steven Mosher, president of the Virginia-based Population Research Institute, blasted the suggestion as “ridiculous” and “dangerous,” and the study as “climate extremism masquerading as science.” (Read more from “Global Warming Extremists Urge Gov’t to Teach Kids to Have Fewer Babies” HERE)

He’s Alive? Kurds Say ISIS ‘Caliph’ Not Dead, Contrary to Claims

A top Kurdish official believes with 99 percent certainty that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is alive and well, following another round of reports from around the world claiming the demise of the terrorist “caliph.”

“Baghdadi is definitely alive. He is not dead. We have information that he is alive. We believe 99 percent he is alive,” Kurdish counterterror official Lahur Talabany told Reuters Monday.

The Kurdish official said that Baghdadi is an expert at absconding from the reach of advanced intelligence services.

“Don’t forget his roots go back to al Qaeda days in Iraq,” Talabany explained. “He was hiding from security services. He knows what he is doing.”

Talabany added that reports about the Islamic State’s demise were also greatly exaggerated. The Kurdish official argued that ISIS does not need to hold masses of territory to be successful. He predicted that it would take three or four years to eliminate the global jihadist entity. Even after defeat, the group could morph into an al-Qaida on “steroids,” he explained.

The ISIS leader’s whereabouts remain a complete mystery. But Talabany guessed that Baghdadi remained somewhere in the eastern part of Raqqa, Syria.

Countless past reports claiming Baghdadi’s death have not turned up any verifiable proof. In June, Russia claimed with a “high degree of certainty” that Baghdadi was killed in a late May air strike. Following the claim, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights supposedly “confirmed information” that Baghdadi was killed.

Baghdadi last released an audio recording on November 3, 2016, asking members of ISIS to continue to fight for the city of Mosul, Iraq, which was recently liberated from the grip of ISIS by U.S. and coalition forces.

Baghdadi was arrested by U.S. forces in Iraq in 2004 but later released as a “low-level prisoner.” He declared himself the “caliph” of ISIS. In 2010, he became the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq (AQI). Then in 2013, he announced the formation of what is now known as the Islamic State, ISIS, ISIL, IS, or DAESH. In 2014, Baghdadi declared the establishment of an Islamic State, with himself as the “caliph” of the group.

The U.S. government continues to offer a $25 million reward for information that brings Baghdadi to justice. (For more from the author of “He’s Alive? Kurds Say ISIS ‘Caliph’ Not Dead, Contrary to Claims” please click HERE)

House Votes to Look the Other Way From Islamic Terrorism

Last week, the GOP-controlled House informed us that it’s the job of the military to fight global warming and to create transgender brigades with taxpayer-funded “sex-change” operations and hormone therapy. So, what is not included in the mission statement of the military? Identifying the threat doctrine of jihad, the primary threat to our civilization.

On Friday, I observed how, through two amendment votes to the annual defense bill, the majority of the House voted to have the military combat global warming and to pay for military sex-change operations. While GOP leadership whips the heck out of conservatives to support their liberal health care policies, they didn’t lift a finger to keep their members in line to vote for a sane military.

Well, there was a third vote that swung against conservatives as well. By a vote of 208-217, the House rejected an amendment from Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., which would have required the military to study the link between Islamic doctrine and terrorism and identify a list of Islamic preachers who are fomenting this ideology. It’s a recognition of the obvious reality that terrorism is merely a tactic that is fueled by a broader ideology.

Before we throw our troops into untenable military campaigns, isn’t it prudent that we understand the threat doctrine of our enemy and identify who we are fighting? Evidently, that is out of bounds for the majority of the politicians in Washington. They think that the weather and castration surgeries are more within the purview of the military.

Here are the 27 Republicans who joined every Democrat to remain willfully blind of the threat we supposedly send out our troops to fight:

Amash (MI-03)
Buchanan (FL-16)
Collins, C. (NY-27)
Comstock (VA-10)
Costello (PA-06)
Curbelo (FL-26)
Dent (PA-15)
Faso (NY-19)
Fitzpatrick (PA-08)
Hill (AR-02)
Joyce (OH-14)
Katko (NY-24)
Lewis, Jason (MN-02)
LoBiondo (NJ-02)
Meehan (PA-07)
Newhouse (WA-04)
Paulsen (MN-03)
Reichert (WA-08)
Ros-Lehtinen (FL-27)
Russell (OK-05)
Sanford (SC-01)
Stivers (OH-15)
Trott (MI-11)
Turner (OH-10)
Upton (MI-06)
Walden (OR-02)
Young, Don (AK-AL)

Once again, the vote was extremely close but on the losing side of 218, which suggests that leadership clearly didn’t want this to pass, even though most GOP members quietly voted for it to avoid blowback from their voters.

Understanding the threat doctrine of jihad is not only vital to identifying the enemy. It is also important in understanding when not to get involved in a regional conflict. All too often, we send our troops into Islamic civil wars and capture or hold land on behalf of another side of Islamic extremism that is just as big a problem as the one we are initially fighting. We see this phenomenon today in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen. It all flows from the fact that our military commanders don’t study this threat doctrine.

As I’ve said before, ISIS is not the problem. It’s one of that many faces of jihad and is now actually on the decline. The problem is Islamic supremacism – both the Sunni version and the Shia strain disseminated through Iranian hegemony. Thus, while our government is cheering the decline of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, that vacuum is being filled by enemies that are just as dangerous. All the hard work of our special forces and Air Force is being delivered into the hands of Iranian hegemony.

For example, while we have been bombing pro-Assad Iranian proxies in southern Syria, we have been helping some of those very Shia jihadists, such as the Sayyid al Shuhada Brigades, the Imam Ali Brigades, and Hezbollah Brigades, recapture western Iraq from ISIS. Our military is directly helping Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Force, which comprises these very militias, all of which are controlled by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps – Qods Force – under the command of Qassim Suleimani. These are some of the very same militias that killed hundreds of our soldiers last decade with gruesome and innovative IEDs. Now we are serving as their air force.

But fear not, we are getting tough on Iran … in Yemen … while supporting a regime that has ties to Al Qaeda kingpins. Then again, we are also fighting Al Qaeda in Yemen as well. Are you starting to get the picture?

It would be one thing for Shiite monsters to kill Sunni monsters without us spilling our troops’ blood and our treasure on their behalf. But for our military to tip the balance of power to Iran, which is a longer-term threat than the ephemeral and fleeting Islamic State, is downright maniacal. We will never develop a coherent strategy until we understand what and who we are fighting.

Sadly, members of Congress have no interest in directing our military to look at the map before they travel head first into danger. They are too busy studying the weather and paying for castration surgeries. (For more from the author of “House Votes to Look the Other Way From Islamic Terrorism” please click HERE)

5 Ways to Keep a Tax Farm (Citizens) Producing

The government depends on the citizens to produce, to create value from which the ruling classes can leech. They need to keep us working and spending in ways that they prescribe in order to insert themselves into transactions which would otherwise have nothing to do with them. Here are five ways that they keep the tax farm going.

1. Credit Cards and Debt

Credit cards, student loan debt, home loans, and car loans all represent an obligation to work full time. Once you have been saddled with debt, you cannot make the choice to take time off to pursue a business endeavor you are passionate about. You are on the hamster wheel.

The more debt you have, the more you have to earn, and the more taxes you will pay on those earnings. The less freedom you have to be productive in an alternative way.

The housing bubble was no accident; the government doesn’t care if you can afford it, they want you to “own” a home–or rather own a mortgage.

Of course, debt has its place, for instance taking on a home loan in order to have lower monthly payments than rent, and put that money into an asset.

But the problem comes when people take on an expensive home loan because they currently have a great job, ignoring the possibility that the job may not always be there. There are people who take out loans for a car–a clever trick GM started back in the day–in order to keep up with their neighbors or squeeze some momentary satisfaction out of the purchase.

And, of course, credit cards give us a dangerous “solution” to depression: shop therapy! Just like a drug, it can give a momentary high, replaced by an anxious desperation when the bill comes. And all the while you are paying sales tax on almost every purchase.

That is why we must avoid debt at all costs. Spend within your means. Delay gratification by saving before purchasing rather than paying interest after a purchase. And really consider whether a purchase is going to make your life easier, or make you happier, or if you are using it like a drug for a momentary high.

When it comes to college debt, the thing to do is spread awareness of alternatives to college if you think someone you know may be making a big mistake.

2. Full-Time Corporate Employment

Corporate employment is a cycle in itself; it keeps you going for the next raise, for the next promotion, and for all the benefits. Corporations are a creation of government, and would otherwise not exist in their current structure.

Health insurance through work was once an extra incentive to make a job attractive; now it is necessary to avoid a government fine. Better work more than 29 hours to make sure your employer has to cover it!

And when you are self-employed, the government punishes you by making you pay twice the Social Security contribution, since technically you employ yourself.

A corporate job alone is not always a bad thing, it works for some people. But there are plenty of people who push themselves into a job which cannot allow them to reach their full potential. People get a job in order to pay off student loan debt, or in order to get a nice car or to spend more on clothes, alcohol, and novelties.

The government likes this because the entire tax extraction process is designed around this system. Even bonus pay is taxed at a higher rate, like lottery winnings.

But there is a way to use a corporate job as an out. If you can manage to get a nice-paying job, not rack up debt or long-term obligations, and save, then you have the freedom to turn that saved capital into freedom.

This doesn’t work if you save up just to travel or buy a house on the beach to pursue the #SurfLife. It works if your capital is used to create value.

Here’s an example from my own life. My sister worked a corporate job in Massachusetts and took out a home loan to buy an undervalued house. By improving the property, selling it, and moving to an area with a much lower cost of land, she was able to buy a nice chunk of property without needing a loan.

That piece of property is now being used as a mini-farm with various avenues for making money. She is now her own boss and can pursue more personally fulfilling ways of earning a living, which does not always involve fiat currency.

3. Regulations and Laws

Okay, so let’s say you have managed to avoid debt, and have saved up enough from your corporate employment to start your own enterprise. The government creates barriers to competing against their corporate lovers.

I’ll continue with the example of my sister’s mini-farm. An easy way to start earning money would have been to sell the delicious hard cider she and her husband were already producing as a hobby. But the law said that they could not produce it on their own property, they could not distribute it without paying about $10,000 for entry into the market, and a host of other tight regulations.

Okay, they also wanted to run a hot dog cart. They already owned the cart from toying with the idea in Massachusetts. Well, you can’t do a cart, come to find out. In that area, all food trucks must be enclosed. They already had a cart, they did not have a food truck.

They are powering through and creating a great business based around the farm, but her husband had to continue to work instead of being able to immediately pursue the business dreams.

There are a million other examples of government throwing roadblocks in the way of unique self-employment or starting a small business.

Let me know in the comments if you have run into these issues in your own business endeavors.

4. A Fiat Currency

Here is an easy way to extract money from the population: continue to print money. The Fed says openly they aim for an inflation rate of 2%. What does that really mean? It means they aim to steal 2% of the value from all cash and saved dollars every year.

The Fed prints the money, and therefore it is they who gets to spend the value they rob from our savings. It is just another back door tax, a harvest, to reap the products of our labor.

On the flip side inflation is a little gift to those citizens who are behaving properly, according to the government, and taking on debt. They get to pay back their debt in inflated dollars.

But the best part for the government is they don’t have to deal with any resistance to raising tax rates. Most people don’t even understand what inflation is, they simply think stuff just gets a little more expensive each year.

Having a currency with no true value means whoever controls it has the ultimate power.

The old standby strategy to mitigate inflation is to hold reserves in tangible assets such as silver or land.

But cryptocurrencies are another promising innovation. They aren’t where they need to be yet, but there is reason to be hopeful for their development in divorcing us from the Federal Reserve system.

You’ll want to subscribe (and get our free metals report) to hear more about the difference between investment, speculation, and currency when it comes to crypto-coins–our discussion on the topic is about to heat up.

5. Advertising to Promote Consumerism

Just like GM encouraged car owners early on to trade in their vehicle each year for the newest model, citizens are now conditioned to trade in their expensive iPhone for the newest model.

TV programming has long highlighted the lifestyle of the rich and famous, encouraging ridiculous spending on wedding dresses and birthday parties, and glorifying rich spoiled brats.

This article does a nice job summing up the disease of consumerism:

Under our current working conditions, people are forced to build a life in the evenings and their days-off. We find ourselves more inclined to spend heavily on entertainment and conveniences because we rarely have any free time. When we do have time to ourselves, it’s usually fleeting, and we eventually find ourselves neglecting those activities which are free—walking, exercising, reading, meditating, sports, hobbies, etc.—because they take too much time.

While having extra money comes at the sacrifice of personal time for some, for others they not only are robbed of their personal freedom, but they struggle to make ends meet on top of it. The “perfect” consumer works full-time, earns a fair amount of money, indulges during their free time, and somehow just makes it by each month. However, even those who don’t earn fair wages sometimes find themselves wasting small increments of money on unnecessary items for the wrong reasons—a cup of Starbucks here, a McDonald’s cheeseburger there, and those really cool fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view of your 1993 Honda Civic.

Any way you look at it, we have become an unhappy, mindless, over-worked society. We buy silly items for a few moments of happiness before getting bored and moving on. We feel a need to keep up with fads, or to fulfill our childhood vision of what adulthood would be like. We hide our insecurities, avoid issues, and replace psychological needs with material items. By keeping society’s free time scarce, people will pay more for convenience, gratification, and any other relief they can buy.

But at the end of the day, the choice is still our own. With a little mental toughness, we can train ourselves to psychologically exit the system, which is the first step to bringing it down. (For more from the author of “5 Ways to Keep a Tax Farm (Citizens) Producing” please click HERE)

Russia and China Declare All out War on US Petrodollar — Prepare for Exclusive Trade in Gold

The formation of a BRICS gold marketplace, which could bypass the U.S. Petrodollar in bilateral trade, continues to take shape as Russia’s largest bank, state-owned Sberbank, announced this week that its Swiss subsidiary had begun trading in gold on the Shanghai Gold Exchange.

Russian officials have repeatedly signaled that they plan to conduct transactions with China using gold as a means of marginalizing the power of the dollar in bilateral trade between the geopolitically powerful nations. This latest movement is quite simply the manifestation of a larger geopolitical game afoot between great powers.

According to a report published by Reuters:

Sberbank was granted international membership of the Shanghai exchange in September last year and in July completed a pilot transaction with 200 kg of gold kilobars sold to local financial institutions, the bank said.

Sberbank plans to expand its presence on the Chinese precious metals market and anticipates total delivery of 5-6 tonnes of gold to China in the remaining months of 2017.

Gold bars will be delivered directly to the official importers in China as well as through the exchange, Sberbank said.

Russia’s second-largest bank VTB is also a member of the Shanghai Gold Exchange.

To be clear, there is a revolutionary transformation of the entire global monetary system currently underway, being driven by an almost perfect storm. The implications of this transformation are extremely profound for U.S. policy in the Middle East, which for nearly the past half century has been underpinned by its strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia.

THE RISE & FALL OF THE PETRODOLLAR

The dollar was established as the global reserve currency in 1944 with the Bretton Woods agreement, commonly referred to as the gold standard. The U.S. leveraged itself into this power position by holding the largest reserve of gold in the world. The dollar was pegged at $35 an ounce — and freely exchangeable into gold.

By the 1960s, a surplus of U.S. dollars caused by foreign aid, military spending, and foreign investment threatened this system, as the U.S. did not have enough gold to cover the volume of dollars in worldwide circulation at the rate of $35 per ounce; as a result, the dollar was overvalued.

America temporarily embraced a new paradigm in 1971, as the dollar became a pure fiat currency (decoupled from any physical store of value), until the petrodollar agreement was concluded by President Nixon in 1973.

The quid pro quo was that Saudi Arabia would denominate all oil trades in U.S. dollars, and in return, the U.S. would agree to sell Saudi Arabia military hardware and guarantee the defense of the Kingdom.

A report by the Centre for Research on Globalization clarifies the implications of these most recent moves by the Russians and the Chinese in an ongoing drive to replace the US petrodollar as the global reserve currency:

Fast forward to March 2017; the Russian Central Bank opened its first overseas office in Beijing as an early step in phasing in a gold-backed standard of trade. This would be done by finalizing the issuance of the first federal loan bonds denominated in Chinese yuan and to allow gold imports from Russia.

The Chinese government wishes to internationalize the yuan, and conduct trade in yuan as it has been doing, and is beginning to increase trade with Russia. They’ve been taking these steps with bilateral trading, native trading systems and so on. However, when Russia and China agreed on their bilateral US$400 billion pipeline deal, China wished to, and did, pay for the pipeline with yuan treasury bonds, and then later for Russian oil in yuan.

This evasion of, and unprecedented breakaway from, the reign of the US dollar monetary system is taking many forms, but one of the most threatening is the Russians trading Chinese yuan for gold. The Russians are already taking Chinese yuan, made from the sales of their oil to China, back to the Shanghai Gold Exchange to then buy gold with yuan-denominated gold futures contracts – basically a barter system or trade.

The Chinese are hoping that by starting to assimilate the yuan futures contract for oil, facilitating the payment of oil in yuan, the hedging of which will be done in Shanghai, it will allow the yuan to be perceived as a primary currency for trading oil. The world’s top importer (China) and exporter (Russia) are taking steps to convert payments into gold. This is known. So, who would be the greatest asset to lure into trading oil for yuan? The Saudis, of course.

All the Chinese need is for the Saudis to sell China oil in exchange for yuan. If the House of Saud decides to pursue that exchange, the Gulf petro-monarchies will follow suit, and then Nigeria, and so on. This will fundamentally threaten the petrodollar.

According to a report by the Russian government media, significant progress has been made in promoting bilateral trade in yuan, between the two nations, as the first step towards an even more ambitious plan—using gold to make transactions:

One measure under consideration is the joint organization of trade in gold. In recent years, China and Russia have been the world’s most active buyers of the precious metal.

On a visit to China last year, deputy head of the Russian Central Bank Sergey Shvetsov said that the two countries want to facilitate more transactions in gold between the two countries.

In April, Sberbank expressed interest in financing the direct import of gold to India—also a BRICS member. Make no mistake that a BRICS gold marketplace could be used to bypass the dollar in bilateral trade, and undermine the hegemonic control enjoyed by the US petrodollar as the global reserve currency.

“In 2014 Russia and China signed two mammoth 30-year contracts for Russian gas to China. The contracts specified that the exchange would be done in Renminbi [yuan] and Russian rubles, not in dollars. That was the beginning of an accelerating process of de-dollarization that is underway today,” according to strategic risk consultant F. William Engdahl.

Russia and China are now creating a new paradigm for the world economy and paving the way for a global de-dollarization.

“A Russian-Chinese alternative to the dollar in the form of a gold-backed ruble and gold-backed Renminbi or yuan, could start a snowball exit from the US dollar, and with it, a severe decline in America’s ability to use the reserve dollar role to finance her wars with other peoples’ money,” Engdahl concludes. Homosexual Seattle Mayor Says He Won’t Resign Following Sexual Abuse Allegations

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray said he will not resign from office following calls from city leadership to do so.

Murray made the announcement Monday, stating “We do not need the sort of abrupt and destabilizing transition that a resignation would create.”

Calls for the city’s first openly gay mayor’s resignation came after four men, one of them his foster son, claimed Murray sexually abused them as teenagers in the 1980s.

Four city councilmembers issued a statement of their own, following Murray’s announcement Monday afternoon.

Women’s March Praises Cop-Killing Terrorist as ‘Sign of Resistance’

The Women’s March praised a cop-killing terrorist as a “sign of resistance” on Sunday.

Assata Shakur, whose real name is Joanne Chesimard, has been on the FBI’s Most Wanted list for decades after escaping from a New Jersey prison in 1979, where she was serving out a life sentence for murdering a police officer execution style. Shakur, a wanted terrorist, has become a hero to many on the anti-police left.

Women’s March wished Shakur a happy birthday on Sunday, calling her a “revolutionary” and a “sign of resistance.”

Women’s March wasn’t alone in glorifying Shakur on Sunday.

Black Lives Matter’s New York City chapter held a dance party Sunday night celebrating Shakur, whom the activist group claims “inspired a movement.”

‘Miraculous’ Drop in Illegal Immigration Under Trump

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd said that agents have seen a “miraculous” drop in the number of migrants seeking to cross the border illegally thanks to President Donald Trump.

The significant reduction of illegal border crossings from Mexico to the United States is unprecedented, Judd told C-SPAN on Monday. Judd is the head of a union representing U.S. Border Patrol agents

“What we’ve seen is nothing short of miraculous,” he said. “If you look at the rhetoric that President Trump has given, it’s caused the number of illegal border crossers to go down, something that we’ve never seen in history at the Border Patrol” . . .

In June, the U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection reported a 53 percent decrease in the number of apprehensions and inadmissible persons along the Southwest border compared to last year. It says the drop in apprehensions has a correlation with those attempting to cross illegally.

Judd attributes this success to the Trump administration’s enforcement of the laws. (Read more from “‘Miraculous’ Drop in Illegal Immigration Under Trump” HERE)
