Bloody Hell: Christopher Columbus Turned Into Monster

The war on American history continued Monday, Columbus Day, with attacks on statues honoring the 15th century explorer.

It was so-called “social justice warriors” who attacked and in some cases defaced memorials honoring Columbus, accusing him of being a “murderous slave trader.”

It’s the latest in a series of protests that began in August when a rally against the removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee turned violent in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Top Democrats have called to remove from public grounds statues, markers and other monuments that honor Confederate figures and others regarded as racist.

The violent left-wing group antifa declared Monday a nationwide “Deface Columbus Day” to “burn down the American plantation once and for all.” (Read more from “Bloody Hell: Christopher Columbus Turned Into Monster” HERE)

Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Toddler in Fast Food Chain Bathroom

A Florida man was arrested Friday in the sexual assault of a 2-year-old in the bathroom of an Orlando-area Chick-fil-A after a customer said he witnessed the attack, according to police.

Orlando Police said David Gray, 35, faces charges of sexual battery of a child younger than 12, lewd or lascivious battery and molestation, child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was denied bond when he appeared before a judge Saturday, FOX 35 reported.

A customer told police he was in the bathroom at the restaurant Friday morning when he noticed there was activity in one of the bathroom stalls, and caught a glimpse of the child’s reflection with Gray, according to a police report obtained by WFTV.

“(The witness) was not sure if the baby was bouncing or if they were having sex,” the report said. “(The witness) stated he flushed the toilet on purpose to let the man hear him in the bathroom. (The witness) stated, if he panics, then he must be doing something wrong.”

The customer then told he flushed the urinal and saw Gray panic when he realized someone else was in the bathroom with him. (Read more from “Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Toddler in Fast Food Chain Bathroom” HERE)

Registered Sex Offender Running for City Council

A registered sex offender is running for city council in Aurora.

Abel Laeke, 39, is vying for one of two open at-large seats.

A charge from 2004 landed Laeke on the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s sex offender registry.

Laeke told CBS4’s Melissa Garcia on Saturday by phone that he could not comment on his criminal record due to pending litigation.

Court documents show that Laeke has been fighting to appeal the sex charge for years. (Read more from “Registered Sex Offender Running for City Council” HERE)

DACA Deal ‘Existential’ Threat to U.S.

An activist group that has helped defeat several amnesty bills says the White House’s new 70-point immigration plan – which asks for concessions from Democrats in exchange for allowing “Dreamers” to stay in the U.S. – would be the death of the nation.

The White House proposal – seeking to fulfill promises that got Trump elected – includes completing the border wall, more deportation agents and cracking down on sanctuary cities, chain migration, unaccompanied minors and visa overstays.

Among its 70 points are 39 improvements to enforcement and 27 regarding border security. At least four more address the legal immigration system.

“Anything that is done addressing the status of DACA recipients needs to include these three reforms and solve these three problems,” a White House source told the Washington Times. “If you don’t solve these problems then you’re not going to have a secure border, you’re not going to have a lawful immigration system and you’re not going to be able to protect American workers.” (Read more from “DACA Deal ‘Existential’ Threat to U.S.” HERE)

Trump Unveils New Strict 70-Point Immigration Enforcement Plan

Determined to finally solve illegal immigration, the White House submitted a 70-point enforcement plan to Congress Sunday proposing the stiffest reforms ever offered by an administration — including a massive rewrite of the law in order to eliminate loopholes illegal immigrants have exploited to gain a foothold in the U.S.

The plans, seen by The Washington Times, include President Trump’s calls for a border wall, more deportation agents, a crackdown on sanctuary cities and stricter limits to chain migration — all issues the White House says need to be part of any bill Congress passes to legalize illegal immigrant “Dreamers” currently protected by the Obama-era deportation amnesty known as DACA.

But the plans break serious new ground on the legal front, giving federal agents more leeway to deny illegal immigrants at the border, to arrest and hold them when they’re spotted in the interior, and to deport them more speedily. The goal, the White House said, is to ensure major changes to border security, interior enforcement and the legal immigration system.

“Anything that is done addressing the status of DACA recipients needs to include these three reforms and solve these three problems,” a senior White House official told The Times. “If you don’t solve these problems then you’re not going to have a secure border, you’re not going to have a lawful immigration system and you’re not going to be able to protect American workers.” (Read more from “Trump Unveils New Strict 70-Point Immigration Enforcement Plan” HERE)

Republican Senator Says Trump Puts Nation on ‘Path to World War III’

Tennessee Republican Sen. Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, believes President Donald Trump might cause the U.S. to enter “World War III.”

Corker gave a lengthy interview to The New York Times Sunday in which he laid out his concerns about the president, who he endorsed during the election. The two feuded on Twitter earlier Sunday with Trump claiming Corker isn’t running for re-election in 2018 due to the president not endorsing him, and the Tennessee senator comparing the White House to an “adult day care center.”

“He concerns me,” Corker told the Times about Trump. “He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.”

The senator said last Wednesday that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and chief of staff John Kelly are responsible for keeping the country from “chaos.” He echoed this sentiment in the Times interview. U.S. Military Takes Over Hurricane Relief Delivery in Puerto Rico

The Department of Defense took over the distribution of hurricane relief from government officials in Puerto Rico this weekend after local mayors failed to appropriately disperse the emergency items to the territory’s 78 municipalities, The Miami Herald reported Sunday.

According to The Herald, food, water, and medical supplies were previously delivered to 10 regional staging sites in Puerto Rico, but the mayors did not coordinate properly to distribute the large containers of relief at the staging sites.

Instead, 10 to 20 soldiers will be posted in every municipality with vehicles and logistical support, where they will deliver relief to every neighborhood.

“We need to push it directly to the barrio to ensure that everyone’s getting it,” Brig. Gen. Jose J. Reyes, assistant adjutant general of the Puerto Rico National Guard said. “They will have some vehicles. They will have radio communications as well as logistics support…. They are going to be living there. They are going to be operating 24/7.” (Read more from “U.S. Military Takes Over Hurricane Relief Delivery in Puerto Rico” HERE)

California Hepatitis A Outbreak on Verge of Epidemic

The California hepatitis A outbreak is on the verge of reaching statewide epidemic status, as cases have spread through homeless tent cities from San Diego north to Sacramento.

California health officials have reported that at least 569 people have been infected with the hepatitis A liver disease and 17 have died since a San Diego County outbreak was first identified in November. Cases have migrated north to homeless populations in Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Sacramento over the last 11 months.

Although local and state authorities have tried to underplay the risks and severity of the outbreak, the most recent annual totals for cases of hepatitis A in the United States was 1,390 in 2015, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC). California only reported 179 cases during the same year. (Read more from “California Hepatitis A Outbreak on Verge of Epidemic” HERE)

Hair-Raising Questions About Vegas Mystery Killer

Who was the woman in the crowd 45 minutes before the shooting, telling people they would die that night? She was led away, we were told. But by whom? To where? Who was she? . . .

How did Paddock get all that weaponry into his hotel room without arousing attention? How did housekeeping not notice what he had in the suite and raise questions? Did he refuse any housekeeping maintenance during his four-day stay in the suite, which was comped by the hotel because he was a high-roller gambler? Is that the reason no one asked any questions about him? . . .

His car at the hotel was found to have hundreds of rounds of ammunition and explosive material in it – but it wasn’t wired to detonate.

It was reported he had female companionship over those few days at the hotel. The latest is that police have identified the local prostitute he was with, but they have not released that information.

Paddock’s live-in girlfriend was first reported in Mexico, then in Tokyo, and then it was changed to be the Philippines, where she has relatives. It’s also reported that he wired $100,000 there, but we don’t know for certain who received it or its purpose. She has since returned to the U.S. and was questioned by the FBI, but few details have been released. (Read more from “Hair-Raising Questions About Vegas Mystery Killer” HERE)
