Yahoo Just Said Every Single Account Was Affected by Hacking – 3 Billion in All

Yahoo on Tuesday said that every single Yahoo account was affected by a data breach that took place in 2013.

In 2016, Yahoo disclosed that more than one billion of about three billion accounts had likely been affected by the hack. In its disclosure Tuesday, the company said all accounts were likely victimized.

Yahoo included the finding in a recent update to its Account Security Update page, saying that it found out about the wider breach through new intelligence obtained during the company’s integration into Verizon Communications. Outside forensic experts assisted in the discovery, the company said. (Read more from “Yahoo Just Said Every Single Account Was Affected by Hacking – 3 Billion in All” HERE)

Is Another Billionaire Businessman Considering a Presidential Run?

Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban said he is “considering” running for president of the United States in a new podcast posted on Tuesday.

In an interview on former Democratic South Carolina state representative Bakari Sellers’ podcast ViewPoint, Cuban said he is an “independent all the way through” who tries to remain informed and objective on issues.

Sellers noted that Cuban supported Hillary Clinton during her campaign against President Donald Trump in 2016 and asked if he would help Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections . . .

“Mark, are you considering running for president of the United States?” Sellers asked.

“Yes. Considering, yes,” Cuban said. “Ready to commit to it, no.” (Read more from “Is Another Billionaire Businessman Considering a Presidential Run?” HERE)

Robots Are Replacing Fast Food Workers at New Shake Shack

It’s the future of fast food bytes in the Big Apple.

Robots will replace humans and cash won’t be accepted at a soon-to-open Shake Shack in the East Village, reps for the popular burger chain said Monday.

Customers will place orders via an app and at touch-screen kiosks inside the restaurant, which is scheduled to open an Astor Place branch later this month, according to company CEO Randy Garutti.

Workers dubbed “hospitality champs” will guide diners through possible tech glitches as they place orders at the kiosks, which only accept credit cards. (Read more from “Robots Are Replacing Fast Food Workers at New Shake Shack” HERE)

Why Did Stephen Paddock Make a Massive Money Transfer to the Philippines Just One Week Ago?

Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock wired $100,000 to an account in the Philippines the week before he opened fire on a concert, multiple senior law enforcement officials told NBC News.

Paddock’s girlfriend, 62-year-old Marilou Danley, was in the Philippines, her native country, Sunday when Paddock began firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. It remains unclear whether the money was intended for Danley, her family members, or for some unknown purpose . . .

Authorities maintain that Danley, who is scheduled to return to the U.S. for questioning Wednesday, did not participate in planning the attack. (Read more from “Why Did Stephen Paddock Make a Massive Money Transfer to the Philippines Just One Week Ago?” HERE)

Here’s How Mattis Plans to Win the War in Afghanistan

Secretary of Defense James Mattis offered the most detailed view of President Donald Trump’s strategy to turn the tide of war in Afghanistan Tuesday before the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Mattis’s prepared testimony laid out an “R4+S” strategy, which stands for “regionalize, realign, reinforce, reconcile, and sustain.” The strategy hits upon larger themes of Trump’s Aug. 21 address to the American people, when he pledged to adopt a conditions-based approach for withdrawal from Afghanistan that focuses on pressuring Pakistan to crack down on terror safe havens.

The first three R’s emphasize the regional approach the administration intends to take, providing additional U.S. military advisers at lower levels of the Afghan National Security Forces, and pledging to stay in Afghanistan for the foreseeable future. Mattis deployed an additional 3,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan shortly after Trump’s address to carry out this mission.

The ultimate goal of the strategy is “reconciliation,” which entails “convincing our foes that the coalition is committed to a conditions-based outcome, we intend to drive fence-sitters and those who will see that we’re not quitting this fight to reconcile with the Afghan National Government.” (Read more from “Here’s How Mattis Plans to Win the War in Afghanistan” HERE)

After Week of Worrying About Police Power, Liberals Now Wants Cops to Take Your Guns

In a monologue frequently interrupted by the comedy host being on the brink of tears, Kimmel condemned Republican lawmakers for letting the “gun lobby” take over America. He dismissed their offerings of prayers for the Las Vegas victims and suggested, “they should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country.”

All of this made for good viral material to influence the current gun debate. Liberals and Democrats are all behind Kimmel’s desire to act immediately on guns — yet, there is no real legislation that would have done a damn thing to stop the deadliest mass shooting in American history.

The current focus is stopping a bill that would remove restrictions on gun suppressors, an item the Las Vegas shooter did not use. Noted firearm expert Hillary Clinton has offered the theory that a silencer would have allowed the shooter to kill dozens with no one hearing him, apparently believing that a suppressor makes one of those dreaded assault rifles completely inaudible.

This notion does more to show liberal ignorance on guns than anything else. But this is the one issue where the Left is wanting immediate action on guns after Las Vegas — at least, as publicly stated.

Behind every liberal reaction to a shooting is the looming specter of gun confiscation. Kimmel even hinted at it with his comment that no one should own an M-16. (Read more from “After Week of Worrying About Police Power, Liberals Now Wants Cops to Take Your Guns” HERE)

Casino Security Video Shows Vegas Shooter in 2011

Mandalay Bay shooter Stephen Paddock may have been a high-roller, but he lost a slip-and-fall lawsuit against a Nevada casino in 2014 — and still owed $270 in court fees when he killed at least 59 people Sunday.

Security video from the Cosmopolitan Hotel shows Paddock slipping and falling on Oct. 30, 2011, as he walked from a hotel shop towards a high-stakes area in the casino. Paddock said he had slipped in a puddle of liquid and sued the hotel in 2012, initially asking for $100,000, according to the attorney for the hotel, Marty Kravitz.

“They always ask for a lot more than they can get, but he got nothing,” said Kravitz. (Read more from “Casino Security Video Shows Vegas Shooter in 2011” HERE)

Report: Obama Used IRS to Push Obamacare

It’s no secret that the Internal Revenue Service was used as a political weapon by the Obama administration – just talk to any of the thousands of people affected by the agency’s obstruction of conservative, Christian and tea party organizations at the time Obama was seeking re-election.

Now, government documents have been obtained through a Judicial Watch lawsuit that show the scope of the abuse was much broader, including one revealing the White House used the IRS to pressure Americans to support Obamacare.

“So now we have more evidence of more Obama IRS abuses targeting innocent Americans – all in the name of Obamacare,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “No wonder it took a federal lawsuit and court order to get these documents – as they show the Obama White House and its agencies were happy to threaten and treat Americans like lab rats in order to bolster Obamacare.”

His organization announced Monday it has obtained two more batches of documents.

The documents, Judicial Watch said, show the Obama IRS “coordinated with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Obama White House Behavioral Sciences ‘Team’ in a $5 million program to pressure Americans to sign up for Obamacare.” (Read more from “Report: Obama Used IRS to Push Obamacare” HERE)

2 Lethal Traits of America’s Deadliest Mass Shooters

The motive behind the mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night has yet to be determined by authorities, though Democrats already are jumping on the gun-control bandwagon.

Over the last 20 years, the perpetrators of nearly all the deadliest mass shooting in the United States have shared one of two traits: Besides killing innocents with firearms, they either were Muslims or were using mind-altering psychiatric drugs.

Stephen Craig Paddock is alleged to have opened fire from a 32nd-floor hotel room on a crowd of more than 22,000 gathered for a country music festival Sunday night, killing at least 59 people and injuring at least 515 others, making it the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

The death toll surpassed the 49 killed last year in Orlando by Omar Mateen at the Pulse nightclub . . .

Paddock’s brother, Eric Paddock, revealed Monday that their father, Patrick Benjamin Paddock, was a bank robber who escaped prison and was on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. The elder Paddock was “diagnosed as psychopathic” and “reportedly had suicidal tendencies.” (Read more from “2 Lethal Traits of America’s Deadliest Mass Shooters” HERE)

Trump Surveys Hurricane Ravaged Puerto Rico

President Trump visited storm-ravaged Puerto Rico on Tuesday to survey damage and talk to residents, while also meeting and briefly praising the San Juan mayor following their feud over the administration’s response to Hurricane Maria.

The president, accompanied by first lady Melania Trump, participated in a packed briefing on storm recovery shortly after landing at Luis Muñiz Air National Guard Base in San Juan.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, who has repeatedly criticized the president’s actions since the storm wreaked havoc on the U.S. territory last month, was seen shaking Trump’s hand and joining him for the briefing in a hangar. (Read more from “Trump Surveys Hurricane Ravaged Puerto Rico” HERE)
