A prominent computer hacker who believes it was a Democratic National Committee insider who stole the DNC emails that were made public by WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential campaign is doubling down on his claim.
The hacker, Kim Dotcom, said in a tweet Monday that “the DNC hack wasn’t even a hack,” reported Tyler Durden at the Zerohedge blog.
“It was an insider with a memory stick. I know this because I know who did it and why. Special Counsel Mueller is not interested in my evidence. My lawyers wrote to him twice. He never replied. 360 pounds,” Dotcom wrote.

Dotcom previously claimed DNC staffer Seth Rich, whose murder in July 2016 remains unsolved, was behind the leak of the emails to WikiLeaks and was developing technologies to expose corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics.
The tweet followed shortly after President Trump’s tweet Monday on the “Russia” investigation: “I never said Russia did not meddle in the election, I said ‘it may be Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with this computer.’ The Russian ‘hoax’ was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia – it never did!”

One of the primary objectives of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016, including last week’s indictment of 13 Russians, is to protect former President Barack Obama, contends talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.
While Hillary Clinton also is being protected, Obama “is the primary person being protected here, because all of this spying and all of his collusion to destroy Trump happened with his knowledge and probably encouragement,” he said on his nationally syndicated show Monday.
Limbaugh pointed out that “the only collusion that we know of – that could actually be established – is that between Hillary Clinton and the Russians, through Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS.”
He noted that Washington watchdog Judicial Watch has just discovered “yet another dossier” used to undermine Trump, this one created by the Obama State Department.
Limbaugh said in an interview Sunday with “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace, reported Real Clear Politics, that while Democrats have claimed Trump’s campaign worked with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton, the evidence shows the “dossier” on which the investigation was based is an unsubstantiated document with Russian sources, funded by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Outspoken #MeToo campaigner Cristina Garcia – a California assemblywoman who captured national media attention as a “silence breaker” in the movement – reportedly told her staffers that having sex with elected officials “was a good way of getting information” from them.
Garcia, chairwoman of the Legislative Women’s Caucus, is also accused of groping a staffer and a lobbyist, hosting a game of “Spin the Bottle” and demanding that staffers drink alcohol and go to happy hour with her.
Four of Garcia’s former staffers said she “spoke graphically” about romps with other lawmakers in their offices, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The staffers wouldn’t say which lawmakers slept with Garcia “out of respect for their privacy,” their lawyer, Daniel Gilleon, wrote in a letter to the Assembly Rules Committee.

Forgive my forwardness, but I know what could radically reduce gun violence on U.S. school campuses without adding more gun regulations, placing more restrictions on the mentally ill, outlawing guns or even involving Washington, D.C. And I bet it could be enacted sooner than any other proposed remedy . . .
We as a country need to do what Israel did: The Holy Land mandated armed guards at the entrances to all schools in 1995, and those guards are backed by local law enforcement and special police forces. While these school defenses are primarily intended to thwart terrorists, they also deter any would-be criminals who would cause harm to children.
Israeli schools have only suffered from two shootings in the past 40 years: one in 1974 (22 children and three adults) and another in 2008 (eight youth).
True, Israel has fewer guns per capita than the U.S., but it’s also a tiny country with virtually no opportunity for hunting or other recreational use of firearms. Anti-gun advocates love to point out that there are only about 500,000 weapons that are privately owned in Israel, but that’s in a country (area) that is only about one-fifteenth the size of California or one-twenty-fifth the size of Texas.
Twenty-eight years ago, in 1990, then-Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., introduced the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 into the Senate, and it prohibited “any unauthorized individual from knowingly possessing a loaded or unsecured firearm at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.” It was passed by Congress and signed by President H.W. Stephen Paddock, Omar Mateen, Gavin Long, Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, James Holmes, and now, Nikolas Cruz all have one thing in common other than the mass murders they carried out. They were all reportedly taking prescription drugs which alter one’s state of mind and carry a host of negative side effects ranging from aggression and suicide to homicidal ideation.
Suicide, birth defects, heart problems, hostility, violence, aggression, hallucinations, self-harm, delusional thinking, homicidal ideation, and death are just a few of the side effects caused by the medication taken by the monsters named above, some of which are known as SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), or antidepressants.
There have been 150 studies in 17 countries on antidepressant-induced side effects. There have been 134 drug regulatory agency warnings from 11 countries and the EU warning about the dangerous side effects of antidepressants.
Despite this deadly laundry list of potential reactions to these medications, their use has skyrocketed by 400% since 1988. Coincidentally, as antidepressant use went up, so did mass shootings.
The website SSRIstories.org has been documenting the link between selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and violence. On the website is a collection of over 6,000 stories that have appeared in local media (newspapers, TV, scientific journals) in which prescription drugs were mentioned and in which the drugs may be linked to a variety of adverse outcomes including most of the mass shootings which have taken place on US soil.
As the Citizens Commission on Human Rights notes, before the late nineteen-eighties, mass shootings and acts of senseless violence were relatively unheard of. Prozac, the most well known SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) antidepressant, was not yet on the market. When Prozac did arrive, it was marketed as a panacea for depression which resulted in huge profits for its manufacturer Eli Lilly. Of course other drug companies had to create their own cash cow and followed suit by marketing their own SSRI antidepressants.
Subsequently, mass shootings and other violent incidents started to be reported. More often than not, the common denominator was that the shooters were on an antidepressant, or withdrawing from one. This is not about an isolated incident or two but numerous shootings.
The issue of psychotropic medication playing a role in mass shootings is not some conspiracy theory. It is very real and the drug manufacturers list these potentially deadly side effects on the very inserts of every one of these drugs. But the mainstream media and the government continue to ignore or suppress this information. Why is that?
In a clear example of how beholden mainstream media is to the pharmaceutical industries who manufacture and market these drugs, FOX News’ Sean Hannity was recorded this week, blatantly cutting off a reporter who dared mention Nikolas Cruz’s reported association with antidepressants.
In a news segment this week, Hannity was interviewing radio talk show host, Gina Loudon who tried to bring up Cruz’s association with SSRIs.
“I think we have to take a hard look at one thing we’re not talking about yet too, Sean, and that is psychotropic drugs,” Loudon says.
“My guess is, we’ll find out like most of these shooters…..” she says, just before Hannity jumps in to silence her.
Hannity then shuts up Loudon and moves to the doctor next to her. Just like that, all talk which was implicating big pharma in their role in mass shootings was effectively silenced.
It is no secret that the pharmaceutical industry wields immense control over the government and the media. It is their control which keeps any negative press about their dangerous products from airing. However, most people likely do not know the scope of this control.
As Mike Papantonio, attorney and host of the international television show America’s Lawyer, explains, with the exception of CBS, every major media outlet in the United States shares at least one board member with at least one pharmaceutical company. To put that into perspective: These board members wake up, go to a meeting at Merck or Pfizer, then they have their driver take them over to a meeting with NBC to decide what kind of programming that network is going to air.

In December, the North Carolina State Senate and State Assembly passed a law that reduced the number of required signatures to gain ballot access in that state from nearly 95,000 valid signatures of registered voters (a near impossible task) down to 12,000. The thinking behind the law was to enable the Green Party to gain ballot access and thereby enable the Republicans to regain control of the governorship. The law was vetoed by the Democratic Governor but then overridden by a very slim margin by both Republican-controlled legislative bodies.
This unexpected move presented the Constitution Party with a rare opportunity. Almost overnight the North Carolina Constitution Party began organizing to take advantage of this law change to gain ballot access. They have been working gun show after gun show and other venues to gain the needed signatures to achieve ballot access. As of this writing, they have gathered nearly 2,500 signatures, over 80% of which have been gathered by volunteers. The signatures need to be validated by the counties and then turned in to the North Carolina Secretary of State. Thus far, they have achieved an 83% validation rate, which is remarkable. The Constitution Party has never succeeded in getting on the ballot in that state before, so success this year will be a historic first for the party.
Gaining ballot access this year will enable the party to run candidates for office this year and will also secure ballot position for the next Presidential Election in 2020. That will serve as an insurance policy to secure spots on the November ballot in the event that the GOP Establishment regains total control of their party. This is where you can play a critical and vital role. A husband and wife were asleep inside their Spanaway, Washington, home after 2 a.m. Monday when they heard noises and footsteps outside and saw an exterior motion light turn on, police told KIRO-TV.
When the husband went inside the room where his children — an infant and toddler — were sleeping, he came face-to-face with a frightening sight, the station said: A man crouching in the window well . . .
After yelling at him to stop, the homeowner — who told deputies he feared for his family’s safety — fired four shots at the suspect, hitting him twice, KIRO reported.
“That’s just the primal instinct as a man to try to protect my family and my wife,” the homeowner told the station. “I’m willing to put my life out there to make sure my wife and my sons are protected from that threat.”
When deputies arrived, the intruder was laying in the grass suffering from two gunshots, KIRO said, adding that the 24-year-old is expected to be charged once he’s released from the hospital. Democrat Connor Lamb is holding firm in his belief that Congress doesn’t need to pass stricter gun control laws following the school shooting in Florida, insisting the best way to deter these kinds of horrific events is to enforce the laws on the books.
The stance puts Mr. Lamb in line with President Trump and the candidate’s Republican rival Rick Saccone in the special congressional race here in western Pennsylvania, which is doubling as the first electoral test of post-Florida gun politics . . .
“No parent should ever drop their child off at school and be afraid they won’t be alive at the end of the day,” Mr. Lamb said. “My heart breaks for those families in Florida and, in Congress, I will work to make sure that people with serious mental illnesses do not have access to guns.”
Mr. Lamb said more money needs to be invested in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and enforcing the background check system.
He said he would be willing to look at proposals aimed at strengthening the system, including closing the gun show “loophole” and expanding firearm background checks in internet sales, but said the focus should be on mental health.
