Google Puts the Blame on Wikipedia After ‘Nazism’ Appears on California GOP Search

Google reportedly identified one of the ideologies of the California Republican Party as “Nazism” on its highly popular search platform.

The piece of inaccurate information, which is hyperlinked to presumably take web browsers to more information about the hateful, fascist persuasion, is found in the “knowledge panel,” a sidebar widget that presents further, more immediate information.

The feature has had problems before, specifically when an embedded fact-check feature tried to erroneously pin specious claims on articles written by The Daily Caller.

Google eventually suspended the fact check project after The Daily Caller News Foundation investigated and pressed further.

The most recent misattribution was first reported on by Vice News. Other ideologies listed besides Nazism, according to a screenshot obtained by Vice’s Alex Thompson, include “Conservatism, Market Liberalism, Fiscal conservatism, and Green conservatism.”

Many people, especially those on the right, will suspect that it might have been done by a rogue Google employee or inadvertently through a flawed algorithm.

Google, however, told TheDCNF that it’s because sometimes “people vandalize public information sources, like Wikipedia, which can impact the information that appears in search.”

Wikipedia is for the most part open-source, meaning that almost anyone with only limited verification can add, amend and delete information.

“We have systems in place that catch vandalism before it impacts search results, but occasionally errors get through, and that’s what happened here,” a Google spokeswoman said.

Nevertheless, it comes at an inopportune time for the subject as California primaries are less than a week way. It’s not clear how long the tag was up, but absentee ballots have been cast for some time ahead of the elections.

The listing caught the attention, particularly the ire, of many who are Republican or on that end of the political spectrum.

U.S. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, for example, took notice and equated it to apparent bias.

The listing has since been removed, but how much damage it may have done is not clear.

Google says it was only up for a short period of time.

“This would have been fixed systematically once we processed the removal from Wikipedia,” the company representative concluded. “But when we noticed the vandalism we worked quickly to accelerate this process to remove the erroneous information.” (For more from the author of “Google Puts the Blame on Wikipedia After ‘Nazism’ Appears on California GOP Search” please click HERE)

Diamond and Silk Attack ABC, Call out Establishment Media’s Double Standard

As many in the liberal media use the racist joke posted on Twitter by Roseanne Barr as “proof” of how it reflects the racist attitude of supporters of President Donald Trump, black conservative vloggers Diamond & Silk — whose real names are Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson — are fighting back against those stereotypes.

The duo is also calling out ABC and others for what they perceive as a double standard in how Barr was treated.

In appearances on multiple Fox News programs Wednesday and Thursday, the sisters called Barr’s tweet — which suggested former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett is the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes — a “mistake” that reflected “bad judgment” on the part of the comedian.

But they said a bad attempt at humor should not result in someone being branded as a racist.

“Roseanne, she is not a racist. She made bad judgment. She apologized for it,” Diamond pointed out.

“One tweet don’t make you a racist,” added Silk.

Barr herself tweeted her appreciation for the women’s comments.

Diamond and Silk were also upset by a tweet from MSNBC host Chris Hayes, who claimed Barr’s controversial comment was representative of the attitude of many Trump supporters.

“That’s not the representation of the Trump base,” Diamond said. “We’re loving, caring people. We’re not racists. We love God, we love this country, so how dare he say that.”

“We’re not racists,” Silk added. “Our president is not racist, he is a realist and the only color he sees is green, and he wants everybody to have some.”
Diamond and Silk also claim there’s a double standard in effect, noting that former MSNBC host and current ESPN commentator Keith Olbermann often uses profanity in his tweets criticizing Trump and his supporters.

“We had to block Keith Olbermann on Twitter because he’s so nasty,” Diamond said.

They also noted how ABC tolerates personalities like Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Jimmy Kimmel making insulting remarks about Trump and his supporters on a daily basis.

“Look at all the other shows on ABC that make these derogatory racist remarks toward the president of the United States, toward his supporters,” Diamond said. “They’re still on air every single day.”

The sisters also criticized the black community for calling out whites for racist remarks, but tolerating racism from their own side.

“If this is a teachable moment, open it up. If we’re going to talk about racism, let’s talk about it on both sides,” Diamond said. “We’re called monkeys, we’re called coons and all kind of derogatory names every day. Everybody want to be mad at Roseanne who happens to be a white woman, and you want to call her a racist. What about the racism on the other side? We have black brothers and sisters calling other black brothers and sisters all kinds of derogatory names.

“If we’re going to have a conversation (about racism), let’s tell the truth … and not just be one sided.” (For more from the author of “Diamond and Silk Attack ABC, Call out Establishment Media’s Double Standard” HERE)

Outrage Follows After Samantha Bee Launches Profane On-Air Attack on Ivanka Trump

Comedian Samantha Bee is receiving significant backlash for a profane and derogatory attack aimed at President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, during a monologue on her TBS show “Full Frontal.”

Bee began the segment by criticizing current U.S. immigration policy that separates undocumented children from their parents.

“We’re going to talk about racism, and I just popped an Ambien so everyone buck up!” Bee told the audience.

She then turned her attention to a photo Ivanka had posted to Instagram of her son, Theodore.

Various media figures had already characterized the photo as insensitive and heartless in light of Trump’s immigration policy.

Bee took the criticism a step further, resorting to vulgar and personal attacks against the first daughter.

“You know Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c***,” she said. “He listens to you, put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to f***ing stop it.”

Various media figures agreed that Bee went too far.

“To me, it was so jarring,” said NBC’s Megyn Kelly. “It was so jarring. To me, hate is hate, and I think she should be condemned for it, too. It’s not to word police. It’s just hate is hate is hate.”

Kelly also argued that Bee deserves to be condemned for her comment, just as comedian Roseanne Barr has been for her racially charged comment about a former Obama administration official.

CNN’s Poppy Harlow called Bee’s comments “over the line,” and “incredibly offensive.”

“It’s never OK to say that about someone,” Harlow said.

People on social media reacted as well, calling out the entertainment media for its double standard in light of Barr’s firing from ABC this week.

“Roseanne deserved to get fired for her comment,” wrote one social media user. “Samantha Bee called Ivanka a ‘c-‘ on air and Keith Olbermann routinely calls the President a ‘motherf***er’ Do you think either will get fired? Maybe see why so many Americans think there’s a double standard for liberals.”

“If this statement had been addressed to a child of a former president, Samantha Bee would be out of a job,” wrote another.

Bee’s segment attacking Ivanka has now been removed from the show’s official YouTube account.

TBS has not yet responded to the controversy or on whether any disciplinary action will be taken against Bee for her comment. (For more from the author of “Outrage Follows After Samantha Bee Launches Profane On-Air Attack on Ivanka Trump” please click HERE)

Horror: Parkland Shooter Made Videos Before Massacre. Here’s What He Said.

By The Daily Wire. On Wednesday, videos made by the deranged gunman who shot up Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February were released that appeared to reveal a possible motive of why he shot up the school.

“It’s going to be a big event,” the Parkland shooter said before laughing. “And when you see me on the news, you’ll all know who I am.” . . .

The 19-year-old said that his goal was to kill at least 20 people, saying, “I had enough of people telling me I’m an idiot and a dumbass…you will all know who my name is. With the power of my AR you will all know who I am.”

“There is a certain group of school shooters who engaged in fame-seeking behavior,” Peter Langman, a clinical psychologist, told The Miami Herald. “They want to be known. They want to change from a nobody into a somebody and the only way they can think to do that it to kill a lot of people.” (Read more from “Horror: Parkland Shooter Made Videos Before Massacre. ‘You’re All Going to Die.’ Nikolas Cruz Made Cellphone Videos Plotting Parkland Attack.

By The Miami Herald. Nikolas Cruz reached for his cellphone before his rifle.

Sometime before killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, Cruz recorded three cellphone videos discussing his plan to murder students and staff. . .

Prosecutors released the videos Wednesday afternoon as they prepare for a possible death penalty trial. The videos may offer insight into what motivated Cruz to commit Florida’s worst school shooting, which has led to a nationwide debate over gun control.

Cruz, a former Stoneman Douglas student who seems to have meticulously planned his attack, expressed anger at his old classmates, saying they thought he was an “idiot and a dumb ass” when in fact it was they who had been “brainwashed by these f***ing political government programs.” And he declared his love for a girl he identified only by her first name, saying he hoped to see her “in the afterlife.”

The videos, all shorter than 90 seconds, will almost certainly bolster the prosecution’s efforts to convict Cruz, 19, of first-degree murder, a capital offense: Under Florida law, such charges must be premeditated. A Massive Development Was Just Made in the Stormy Daniels Lawsuit, Avenatti Slammed by Judge

Attorney Michael Avenatti will not be representing porn star Stormy Daniels in the legal proceedings against Michael Cohen, the personal attorney for President Donald Trump.

Avenatti made the announcement after a court hearing Wednesday in which Cohen’s legal team updated the court on claims of attorney-client privilege related to data seized by FBI raids of Cohen’s home and office.

Daniels claims Cohen paid her $130,000 just before the 2016 election to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump. By representing Daniels in the case, Avenatti would have been allowed to review the items seized from Cohen.

Cohen’s attorney, Stephen Ryan, formally opposed Avenatti’s request for admission to the case. Ryan noted that Avenatti has made 170 media appearances in recent months.

Federal District Judge Kimba Wood told Avenatti that if he formally joined the court case, he would have to end his “publicity tour on TV and elsewhere” and stop asserting that Cohen is guilty of wrongdoing, actions that could “potentially deprive him of a fair trial,” according to The Associated Press.

“You’re entitled to publicity. I can’t stop you — unless you’re participating in a matter before me,” Wood told Avenatti.

Ryan accused Avenatti of committing “a premeditated drive-by shooting of my client’s rights” by publishing details of large corporate payments made in recent years to Cohen.

Ryan also accused Avenatti of an “intentional, malicious and prejudicial” release of Cohen’s bank records.

“Mr. Avenatti has published some information that appears to be from Mr. Cohen’s actual bank records, and Mr. Cohen has no reason to believe that Mr. Avenatti is in lawful possession of these records,” a previous court filing said.

Avenatti responded to Cohen, saying he and his client “did not do anything improper relating to the release of any information concerning Mr. Cohen.”

“I’ve never seen an attorney conduct himself in the way Mr. Avenatti has,” Ryan said in court. “It shakes me to my boots.”

Shortly after Avenatti withdrew his motion to appear in the case, he appeared on MSNBC, claiming some of the material seized in the Cohen raids include recordings of Cohen and an attorney who represented Daniels when the $130,000 payment was negotiated.

Avenatti accused Cohen’s lawyers of leaking the audio. Ryan denied leaking the audio, but said if his firm released those tapes, “it would be the biggest story in America.”

The attorneys representing Cohen said they have more than a dozen lawyers “working around the clock” to review files turned over to them by the government, but had only reviewed 1.3 million of more than 3.7 million files provided to them.

The judge has given Cohen’s team until June 15 to review the files and designate which ones qualify for claims of attorney-client privilege. (For more from the author of “A Massive Development Was Just Made in the Stormy Daniels Lawsuit, Avenatti Slammed by Judge” please click HERE)

Wife of Deportee Shocks Leftist: ‘I Can’t Be Mad at Trump for Doing His Job … to Protect U.S. Citizens’

Cindy Garcia did not fit the liberal narrative that CNN may have been aiming for when she defended President Trump in spite of having her husband deported. . .

Garcia could not fault Trump for “doing his job,” she told Baldwin, who asked about her views after playing a video of the family crying as Jorge Garcia was taken away for deportation.

“Yes, I am not upset at our government due to the fact that I am a U.S. citizen and that our laws come first,” Garcia said, noting that the Mexican life has “taken a toll” on her husband who has lost 30 pounds since leaving the U.S.

“Our laws are just broken and need to be fixed, but I can’t be mad at Trump for doing his job because that is his job to protect us, as U.S. citizens, from criminals,” Garcia added. “The only thing is my husband was not a criminal and those are the laws that need to be fixed because they are broken for the people … brought as children, doing the right thing, and have never committed a crime.” . . .

After almost three decades living in Michigan and raising a family, Jorge Garcia was deported to Mexico after being escorted by immigration agents at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in January, according to The Washington Free Beacon. Russian Journalist and Putin Critic Who Was ‘Shot and Killed’ in Ukraine Turns up Very Much Alive

A Russian journalist who was “shot and killed” in Ukraine Tuesday turned up very much alive at a press conference Wednesday.

Ukrainian authorities reportedly faked his death in an effort to catch the murderers sent to kill him, Vasily Gritsak, head of the Ukrainian Security Service, introduced at the press briefing. The operation was apparently a success, according to Anton Gerashchenko, a Ukrainian politician with close ties to security services.

Arkady Babchenko, a Russian journalist and Kremlin critic, was gunned down in his apartment in Kiev, local police revealed Tuesday. His wife reportedly found him bleeding out at their home in the Ukrainian capital, and he died on the way to the hospital. . .

“We know that many people are dying, many journalists are dying, journalists are thrown into prison for doing journalist work. We consider this unacceptable, we believe that this should be the topic for a very tough international reaction that will encourage the Ukrainian authorities to take effective measures to rectify the situation,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

Babchenko, a renowned reporter who fled Russia last year after receiving threats for his writings critical of the Russian government, is definitely not dead. (Read more from “Russian Journalist and Putin Critic Who Was ‘Shot and Killed’ in Ukraine Turns up Very Much Alive” HERE)

Miracle: Baby Escapes Death at Mississippi’s Only Abortion Clinic

On Wednesday, a miracle happened: a pregnant woman walked into Mississippi’s only abortion clinic and left with her baby girl delivered and unharmed.

Jackson Women’s Health Organization is Mississippi’s only abortion clinic in the state. . .

A pregnant Mississippi woman, who remains unnamed for privacy reasons, came into the facility and unexpectedly went into labor while she was waiting for an ultrasound to see how far along she was in her pregnancy, says the clinic’s director, Shannon Brewer.

Since the woman was already pregnant, the only logical reason she was at the abortion clinic was presumably because she was considering abortion. Inquiring about contraception and pregnancy testing, which are the only two other services offered, when pregnant, is nonsensical.

Brewer confirmed that a doctor delivered the woman’s baby girl at the clinic. The two were then transported to a nearby hospital and are both said to be in good health. (Read more from “Miracle: Baby Escapes Death at Mississippi’s Only Abortion Clinic” HERE)

This Alleged Quote From Obama Shows Just How Narcissistic He Was

According to a new memoir from former Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and consummate liar Ben Rhodes, after President Trump’s election in 2016, Barack Obama once again hoisted his narcissistic self to the heavens, thinking how visionary he was as he mused, “Sometimes I wonder whether I was 10 or 20 years too early.”

According to Rhodes, Obama’s comments were prompted by his aides telling him he would have defeated Trump if he had run for a third term and that the next generation would have preferred him to Trump.

As The New York Times reports, after Mr. Trump’s election, according to Rhodes, Obama vacillated from anger (calling Trump a “cartoon figure”) to taking the “long view.” Rhodes quoted Obama thinking of how Trump would undo what he had done, then alluding to “The Godfather,” saying, “I feel like Michael Corleone. I almost got out.”

Rhodes writes that aides wanted Obama to respond to criticism that he should be more vocal about Russia intruding on the U.S. election, but Obama demurred, allegedly saying, “I talk about it every time I’m asked. What else are we going to do? We’ve warned folks.” . . .

Rhodes writes that Obama said despairingly of Trump’s victory, “Maybe this is what people want. I’ve got the economy set up well for him. No facts. No consequences. They can just have a cartoon.” (Read more from “This Alleged Quote From Obama Shows Just How Narcissistic He Was” HERE)

Transgender ‘Woman’ Tries to Join Female Gym. Then This Happens.

On Monday, in Wellington, New Zealand, a transgender woman who hasn’t had the gynecological surgery to look like a woman was turned away from a women’s gym he wanted to join. . .

Mansell told the NZ Herald, “I talked to a lady there who launched straight into questions. She said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m gonna have to ask you if you are transgender.’ I thought that was inappropriate. She said it was the company’s policy that transgender people are medically authenticated.”

Mansell wrote on Facebook, “ONLY allowed in (for free tour) AFTER I GET THE OP!! I’ll just wait 60+ years then…?” Mansell claimed he “was told ‘it’s company policy that all trans people have a medical confirmed srs (sex reassignment) op before being allowed in the GYM.’” . . .

Mansell complained that his birth certificate should have been enough, as it reflected his choice of gender. . .

Cherie Cooper, area manager for Revive Fitness, stated:

We would firstly like to apologize for any harm our current policy has caused. The policy has been in place for a long time, but we acknowledge that this is no defense, and however unintentional it may have been we accept that it may be hurtful to those who are excluded by it. We know that this is a sensitive matter, and to that end as a business we are urgently reaching out to organizations within the Wellington GLBTI community for guidance and advice to review our policy and ensure that our gyms are a safe and comfortable environment, and an inclusive and understanding community for all women.
