Black Student Suspended, Allegedly Told He ‘Looked Like Someone Who Might Commit Sexual Assault’

An African-American graduate student at the University of Missouri was suspended after asking a white woman on a date. He had been previously accused of sexual misconduct, but was found not responsible. He claims an administrator told him during the first investigation that he “looked like someone who might commit sexual assault.” . . .

The student, identified in court documents as John Doe, was a doctoral candidate in Cultural Anthropology, and took dance fitness classes at the Student Recreation Center. During the 2015-2016 school year, John developed what he thought was a friendship with a female fitness class instructor (The Daily Wire is not naming her since it is not naming the accused student). John asked the instructor on a date in April 2016, and claims she said she was busy but discussed going out later that month. On April 18, she sent John a message asking him “to stop making romantic advances toward her,” according to his lawsuit. She did, however, indicate that she still wanted him to attend her dance classes and wanted their friendship to remain professional.

John apologized and said he would keep their relationship professional. That fall, he asked the instructor to recommend YouTube videos that could help him improve his dance technique. She suggested he take private lessons, but that she did not teach private lessons. For the next week, the instructor avoided John during her classes. . .

After this, Rec Center Associate Director Emily Bach McElwaine told Mizzou’s Title IX office that John had harassed and stalked four women who worked at the rec center, including the instructor. She apparently sent in allegations on behalf of three other women.

On October 20, the instructor was interviewed and said that John’s communications were “bizarre” and made her “uncomfortable.” On November 7, 2016, Title IX investigator Amber Lammers sent John a notice that he was being investigated for sexual harassment and stalking. John said during his interview with Lammers that he was concerned about the involvement of Salama Gallimore, who had, according to John, told him during a previous Title IX investigation that he “looked like someone who might commit sexual assault.” John was assured Gallimore would not be involved in this investigation. NFL Team Will Suspend And/Or Fine Players Who Protest the National Anthem

On Thursday afternoon, it was reported that the NFL’s Miami Dolphins would suspend and/or fine players who protest during the national anthem.

In late May, the NFL instituted a new “no kneeling” policy. ESPN reported, “The new policy subjects teams to a fine if a player or any other team personnel do not show respect for the anthem. That includes any attempt to sit or kneel, as dozens of players have done during the past two seasons. Those teams will also have the option to fine any team personnel, including players, for the infraction.”

Immediately following the NFL’s announcement, in a survey conducted by Survey Monkey, 54% of respondents approved of the NFL’s new policy, while 43% disapproved. As The Daily Wire reported, “When the pollsters drilled down a little deeper, they found that approval of the policy increased the more hardcore the fan. Among those who described themselves as NFL fans (which was 53% of respondents), a slightly greater percentage agreed with the policy: 56% of either “casual” or “big” fans said they approved of the policy, while 42% disagreed.” (Read more from “Nfl Team Will Suspend And/Or Fine Players Who Protest the National Anthem” HERE)

In 2010, Hillary Revealed the Type of Relationship Obama Wanted With Russia

By The Daily Wire. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a 2010 interview on Russian television with Vladimir Pozner that the Obama administration wanted to “help strengthen Russia.” . . .

“Many of our businesses want to have their business leaders come and have open-ended visas and similarly a lot of Russians want to be able to come and have as much time as they need,” Clinton continued. “That’s what I would like to work towards.”

“One of the fears that I hear from Russia is that somehow the United States wants Russia to be weak,” Clinton added. “That could not be farther from the truth. Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

Trump Refuses to Denounce Putin Over Election Meddling at Summit, Blames ‘Both Countries’

By CNBC. President Donald Trump on Monday said at a joint briefing with Russian President Vladimir Putin that while he had “great confidence” in the U.S. intelligence community, Putin was “extremely strong and powerful in his denial” that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The president blamed “both countries” for the strained relationship. When a reporter asked the president if he would denounce Russia’s efforts to interfere in the presidential election, Trump raised the issue of Hillary Clinton’s email server.

“I think it’s a disgrace we can’t get Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 e-mails. I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today,” Trump said. Foreign Interference: Foreigners Voting in Our Elections

If Russians were found to have voted in our elections, would that be enough to get the political class to take seriously the issue of non-citizens voting in our elections? What if Russian nationals got standing to sue against any method of protecting the integrity of our elections and Census reapportionment? Would it then be kosher to focus on the existential threat posed by voter fraud?

All conservatives should take the Russian attempts to meddle in our elections seriously. But that is a national security and counterintelligence issue; it’s not an electoral issue. Nobody can say that the Russians made a difference with the actual voters in the Midwest who elected Trump. But what does make a difference is foreign nationals actually voting in our elections as well as being counted in the Census. They do more than influence our elections; they downright shape, distort, and irretrievably alter the outcome of our elections. Why is there no concern about this issue among the political class?

A law fueling non-citizens voting

Last week, the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), headed by former DOJ attorney and election law expert J. Christian Adams, published a report showing definitive proof of non-citizens voting in Alleghany County, Pennsylvania, a key battleground state. Last year, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation admitted that through the motor voter law, thousands of non-citizens were seamlessly registered to vote through their process of obtaining driver’s licenses. Last December, Philadelphia City Commissioner Al Schmidt estimated that over 100,000 non-citizens were registered over the past two decades statewide.

And this is just one critical state admitting its error. It’s not hard to see how this is a problem affecting countless hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) — otherwise known as the motor voter law – requires states to offer those obtaining driver’s licenses the option of registering to vote. The problem is that without strong mandates to check citizenship status, this law turned into basically a government requirement to register non-citizens to vote! Non-citizens, even legal immigrants, have no standing to vote in our elections. The courts have downright prevented states from asking for proof of citizenship on voter registration forms, and in many states, we are stuck with nothing more than an honor system to ensure that only Americans are choosing American leaders. Thus, when non-citizens erroneously register to vote, it often takes years to discover because of all the lawsuits against any state that employs commonsense measures to secure the integrity of our elections.

Worse, a dozen states hand out driver’s licenses to illegal aliens – more than a million in California alone – and other states are being forced to do so by the courts.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that this system and the amalgamation of a number of immigration factors, court decisions, and legal mandates have created a ubiquitous problem of non-citizens voting. It is extremely difficult to expose the extent of the problem because states do not cooperate with those who seek to research and quantify the number of non-citizens voting in our elections. Although the organization was denied access to review state records, PILF was given access to records from Alleghany County, which includes the state’s second most populous city, Pittsburgh. PILF found that 139 individual non-citizens were illegally registered to vote since 2006 and 27 percent of them cast at least one ballot in an election. Of course, just 23 of the 139 non-citizens were registered Republican.

Here’s the kicker: These were just the people who self-reported in just one county. We have no idea how many non-citizens voted in Alleghany County, much less the entire Keystone State, but it’s safe to say the number is exponentially higher. These are individuals who self-reported because they were scared that if they are ever caught having been illegally registered to vote, they could be prosecuted for voter fraud and deported. In a similar report in 2016, PILF found 1,046 non-citizens registered to vote in eight Virginia counties and “cast a total of 186 votes between 2005 and 2015.

Record immigration, the motor voter law, and no mandated verification are a recipe for disaster for immigrants and citizens

It’s important to remember that our system is so absurd that it hurts even well-intentioned immigrants. Forget about illegal immigrants or those who desire to subvert our laws for a moment. Many unsuspecting legal immigrants are given the choice of registering to vote without even realizing it’s illegal to do so. Now a number of blue states are automatically registering people with driver’s licenses to vote as part of their obsession to juice up turnout. This will easily rope in many non-citizens. We can’t expect immigrants to be more zealous about the problem than we are. In fact, the problem is so real that the ACLU initially opposed California’s automatic registration law out of concern that it would register many non-citizens, which would render them deportable for violating election law.

This is a growing problem with the explosion of immigration over the past few decades. As the Center for Immigration Studies reports, “[I]n 1990, immigrants were at least 20 percent of the adult population (18-plus) in just 44 counties; by 2014 they were at least 20 percent of the adult population in 152 counties.” They further note that “the immigrant share of adults has more than quadrupled in 232 counties.” The total immigrant population now stands at 44 million. Putting the broader immigration debate aside for a moment, even those who favor mass immigration must admit that the unprecedented growth in immigration poses a foundational risk to the franchise unless states are able to ensure that non-citizens are not registering to vote through motor voter forms.

In one of the case studies in Allegheny County, PILF found that a woman named Karen who came here on a K-1 fiancée visa was registered to vote from 1996 until 2008. In her own words: “I asked the attendant if I should fill it out. I told her that I didn’t think I was qualified to vote as I wasn’t a citizen. She thought I should fill it out anyway, and that I would be rejected if I was not qualified.” PILF posted her letter to county officials asking that her name be removed after years of being registered as an active voter against her will.

Now imagine all of the dishonest people and illegal aliens trying to “influence our elections” who would never self-report. We need not imagine how many illegals are likely voting in California. Thanks to concerns from the ACLU, California added the following provision to Section 2269 of the automatic voter registration law:

If a person who is ineligible to vote becomes registered to vote pursuant to this chapter and votes or attempts to vote in an election held after the effective date of the person’s registration, that person shall be presumed to have acted with official authorization and shall not be guilty of fraudulently voting or attempting to vote pursuant to Section 18560, unless that person willfully votes or attempts to vote knowing that he or she is not entitled to vote.

How many think this will actually deter them from voting once they are protected from prosecution?

Subverting our sovereignty and destiny: The ultimate foreign influence

It’s worse than foreign nationals simply voting in our elections. All illegal aliens are counted in the Census and give states like California more representation in the House and in presidential elections, even when they don’t all actually cast ballots. This is the ultimate disenfranchisement of Americans. Now, the legal profession is working in the courts to prevent the Trump administration from even asking about immigration status on the Census, much less discounting illegals in the 2020 reapportionment.

The distortion of our elections is amplified by dual-nationality voting – with over 1 million Mexican-Americans voting in both American and Mexican elections, while Mexican presidential candidates campaign for votes on our shores while bashing our government. Where is the concern of foreign meddling by Mexico?

A sane Republican Party would introduce a legislative agenda to broadly address foreign meddling in our elections on all fronts while aggressively pursuing a counterintelligence effort against Russian espionage. That agenda should:

Explicitly authorize states to require proof of citizenship to vote

Require that states and localities use the federal SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) database or E-Verify to check for non-citizens voting

Stop counting illegal aliens in the Census for purpose of reapportionment

Treat states that offer driver’s licenses to illegal aliens as sanctuary cities and cut off special federal law enforcement grants

Disallow dual citizens to vote in foreign election while voting in American elections

Tighten up section 8 of the motor voter law, which requires states to “make a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters from the official lists of eligible voters,” in a way that even liberal judges can’t misread it

Yesterday, Speaker Paul Ryan declared, “There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world.” He called for a renewed focus “on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy.” Fabulous. Why then has he refused to allow a single piece of legislation dealing with the ultimate subversion of democracy – voter fraud and non-citizens voting – to come to the floor for a vote?

Anyone in the media and in Congress who is concerned about foreign powers influencing elections but ignores foreigners actually voting in our elections and irrevocably distorting our representation is high on Russian vodka or is intellectually bankrupt. FBI Director Reveals the ‘Most Significant’ Spy Threat to the U.S.

China, rather than Russia, is the “most significant” long-term threat to the United States, FBI Director Christopher Wray said Wednesday.

During an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt at the Aspen Ideas Forum, Wray said that the FBI has economic espionage investigations in all 50 states that trace back to Chinese activity.

“It covers everything from corn seeds in Iowa to wind turbines in Massachusetts and everything in between,” said Wray.

Most of the forum focused on the FBI’s investigation of Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election and in other arenas. Wray’s appearance comes in the wake of two significant indictments in Russia-related investigations.

The special counsel’s office on Friday indicted 12 Russian military intelligence officers allegedly involved in disseminating emails stolen from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee. And on Tuesday, a federal grand jury indicted a Russian national named Maria Butina who allegedly attempted to infiltrate Republican political circles and that National Rifle Association. In Midst of Political Storm, Comey Urges Americans to Vote Democrat

Three years ago, he was looked upon as the impartial leader of America’s most respected law enforcement agency. Now, James Comey has taken his feud with President Donald Trump to a new level by urging Americans to vote for Democrats.

Comey, who as chief of the FBI was entrusted to render an impartial verdict in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, sent out his partisan message Tuesday via Twitter.

“This Republican Congress has proven incapable of fulfilling the Founders’ design that ‘Ambition must … counteract ambition.’ All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall. Policy differences don’t matter right now. History has its eyes on us,” Comey tweeted.

Comey, who attacked Trump repeatedly after Trump fired him and during his tour to market a new book, had stepped up his rhetoric after a Monday news conference in which Trump said he would accept Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s word that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election.

Trump’s comments launched a domestic political furor because they contradicted the findings of the American intelligence community.

“This was the day an American president stood on foreign soil next to a murderous lying thug and refused to back his own country. Patriots need to stand up and reject the behavior of this president,” Comey tweeted Monday.

Trump later said he misspoke and aligned his views with that of United States intelligence agencies, according to Fox News.

“I came back and said ‘What is going on, what’s the big deal?’” Trump said, saying he saw the need for “some clarification.”

He said he meant to say that he didn’t see why Russia “wouldn’t” be responsible for interference.

“I said the word ‘would’ instead of ‘wouldn’t’ … sort of a double negative,” Trump said. “I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election took place.”

Comey’s criticism of Republicans in general has been a thread in his public comments in recent months.

“The Republican Party has left me and many others. I need no better evidence than their new website — which I think is ‘Lyin Comey’ maybe? — attacking me. I just think they’ve lost their way, and I can’t be associated with it,” he said in April, according to CNN.

“I see the Republican Party, as near as I can tell, reflects now entirely Donald Trump’s values,” the former FBI director added. “It doesn’t reflect values at all. It’s transactional, it’s ego-driven, it’s in service to his ego.”

Republicans have been quick to fire back at the former FBI director.

“Comey is a liar and a leaker and his misconduct led both Republicans and Democrats to call for his firing,” Republican chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in an April statement. “If Comey wants the spotlight back on him, we’ll make sure the American people understand why he has no one but himself to blame for his complete lack of credibility.”

Trump, as noted by The Washington Post, has called Comey an “untruthful slimeball.” (For more from the author of “In Midst of Political Storm, Comey Urges Americans to Vote Democrat” please click HERE)

Rand Paul Drops Bombshell on Hillary/Russia Collusion

By Daily Wire. On Wednesday morning, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer that the only person we have evidence of colluding with Russia is twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, not President Donald Trump.

Sen. Paul made his comments in the aftermath of Trump’s controversial meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Paul has been a fierce defender of the president as Trump faces backlash from both sides of the aisle for seemingly suggesting he did not believe U.S. intel agencies about Russian meddling in the 2016 election — though he walked back the remark on Tuesday. . .

“The president sees the Mueller investigation; he sees all these accusations from partisan Democrats, Hillary Clinton, saying ‘Oh, he colluded with the Russians,'” explained Paul.

“The only people who we actually know colluded with the Russians were Hillary Clinton who paid a British agent who paid Russians for information for the dossier,” he declared, referencing the so-called “Steele dossier” which was funded by Hillary and the DNC. Sen. Rand Paul Goes After John Brennan After He Calls Trump ‘Treasonous’

By The Daily Caller. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul went after former CIA director John Brennan following his comments calling President Trump “treasonous” Wednesday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“The former director of the CIA, you think of that as a sober minded person, responsible person, kind of a James Bond with maybe an advanced degree. Here you have a naked partisan nut cake describing a press conference as treason,” said Carlson. “How should that make us feel as American citizens?”

“It makes me wonder whether he should be getting a government pension if he’s going to be disrespecting the commander-in-chief, calling the president treasonous. That’s about as overtop as you can imagine,” responded Paul.

Tucker then brought up that “treason is a death penalty offense” and yet that is how Brennan “is describing views.”

“You have to realize John Brennan started his illustrious career by voting for the Communist Party, you know that’s who he wanted to win the presidency, back in the 70s,” Paul said. “When he came to be head of the CIA, I filibustered him because I thought he was bad news from the very beginning.” (Read more from “Sen. Tedx Speaker: Pedophilia Is an Unchangeable Orientation

Controversy erupted recently over a TEDx talk featuring a German medical student who exclaimed that “pedophilia is an unchangeable sexual orientation, just like … heterosexuality.”

The student, Mirjam Heine, gave the talk at the University of Würtzberg in Germany this past May under the title “Why our perception of pedophilia has to change.” During her talk, Heine said that people need to recognize that pedophilia is a natural force.

“Anyone could be born a pedophile,” she told the audience, citing it as just an “unchangeable sexual orientation just like, for example, heterosexuality.”

Quite strangely, the student then cites “studies” showing that 20 to 30% of all child molesters are pedophiles. On the sheer insanity of this, LifeSiteNews has more:

At times Heine’s ideas were confused. She said heterosexuality and pedophilia were both orientations, while saying pedophilia can be “heterosexual,” “homosexual,” and “bi-sexual.” She intimated that a non-pedophile could sexually abuse a child, but also included within her definition of pedophiles people attracted, to a lesser extent, to adults. And although she seems to think people are “born” pedophiles, she also said pedophilia has biological, social, and psychological factors.

Saved From Socialism: U.S. Saves Baby After U.K. Doctors Said His Heart Couldn’t Be Fixed

After baby Oliver Cameron was denied necessary medical treatment and funding by the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS), doctors in the United States were able to save his life.

Baby Oliver was born with a rare heart condition known as cardiac fibroma. The socialized healthcare system in the U.K. was not equipped to perform the necessary surgery to remove the non-cancerous tumor in his heart. Oliver would have to be put on a list to receive a heart transplant, and even then, he would only be expected to live to the age of 15, at the longest.

But due to the innovation and ingenuity of the United States, the necessary surgery was not only available, but had a 100% success rate at the Boston Children’s Hospital. . .

After funding nearly $170,000 on their own and garnering international attention, the NHS’s hand was forced. The government finally announced that they would allow and fund the necessary surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. . .

Thankfully, Boston Children’s Hospital was able to perform a successful surgery on 10-month-old baby Oliver in November of 2017. “When they told us Dr. del Nido had removed all of it, we were so happy we just burst into tears,” said mother Lydia, according to the hospital’s site.

Teacher Gets Prison Time for Firing a Gun Inside a Classroom

A Georgia teacher was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to him barricading himself in an empty classroom and firing a gun, WXIA-TV reported.

The teacher, 53-year-old Jesse Randal Davidson, pleaded guilty to first degree criminal damage to property, carrying a weapon within a school safety zone, and disrupting the operation of a public school. . .

In addition to the prison time, Davidson will be on probation for eight years after he gets out. He won’t be able to possess a gun or work in school or supervisory roles that put him in charge of children. He will also be banned from Whitfield and Murray counties while on probation, and will have to undergo mental health treatments regularly.

Davidson brought his gun to school, taught his first period class as normal, then locked his door during the planning period. When students arrived for third period, Davidson refused to open the door and warned students he was armed. . .

The long-time teacher had been described as “delusional” by police in the past, after confessing to his role in an apparently nonexistent murder of a woman he said he was having an affair with. He also told police he was thinking of hurting himself, and that he was on depression medication. (Read more from “Teacher Gets Prison Time for Firing a Gun Inside a Classroom” HERE)
