Former Clinton White House Staffer Issues Threat to Rand Paul

By Townhall. A former Clinton White House and presidential campaign staffer, Claude Taylor, tweeted today that “it would be tempting to beat the crap out of Rand Paul” if he lived in the Kentucky senator’s hometown.

Claude Taylor, who worked on President Bill Clinton’s 1992 and 1996 presidential campaigns, tweeted the following message:

I never advocate violence but if I lived in Bowling Green it would be tempting to beat the crap out of Rand Paul.

— Claude Taylor (@TrueFactsStated) July 15, 2018

This tweet comes just months after Sen. Paul (R-KY) was attacked by his Bowling Green neighbor supposedly regarding a land dispute, but Sen. Paul denies that was the actual cause of the incursion. . .

“Before Senator Paul was violently attacked from behind, he had no conversations or discussions with the attacker. There was no ‘longstanding dispute.’ This description is untrue. It is impossible to have a dispute when no words of disagreement were ever spoken – neither immediately nor at any other time before the attack occurred. In the decade prior to the attack, Senator Paul had no contact with the attacker.

The attack was a pre-meditated assault that broke six of the Senator’s ribs and was complicated by fluid and blood around the lung and recurrent pneumonia. Any description of this attack that implies a ‘yard dispute’ justifies such violence and misses the point.”

Rand Paul on Russian Election Meddling: ‘We All Do It’

By Politico. Sen. Rand Paul, discussing Russia’s interference in America’s 2016 presidential race, claimed Sunday that all countries meddle in foreign elections.

“I think really we mistake our response if we think it’s about accountability from the Russians. They’re another country; they’re going to spy on us,” the Kentucky Republican said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” a day before President Donald Trump’s scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.

“We’re going to do the same,” Paul added.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Friday announced special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian military officials for hacking the Democratic National Committee in 2016. (Read more from “Rand Paul on Russian Election Meddling: ‘We All Do It'” HERE)

Trump Makes This Prediction Prior to Russia Meeting

President Donald J. Trump is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin tomorrow in Helsinki, Finland, but the commander-in-chief predicts that ‘no matter how well [he does]’ at the summit, that America’s mainstream media will still criticize him.

President asserted that he could be “given the great city of Moscow as retribution for all of the sins and evils committed by Russia” but then would return to “criticism that it wasn’t good enough – that I should have gotten Saint Petersburg in addition!”

. . .

These tweets today come after numerous messages from the president pondering why President Obama was not receiving more criticism for his previous actions with Russia. Yesterday, President Trump questioned why President Obama did not do more to stop the 12 Russian nationals indicted on Friday from interfering in the 2016 presidential election. He also added that the Fake New Media would not report the truth on the subject. (Read more from “Trump Makes This Prediction Prior to Russia Meeting” HERE)

5th Time Is the Charm! MS-13 Gang Member Arrested Again After 4 Deportations

ABC 7 KVIA reports that Texas Border Patrol agents have arrested two MS-13 gang members on two separate occasions this week for illegally entering the country. One of these illegal aliens has previously been deported from the United States four times.

Last Sunday, Border Patrol agents working near El Paso monitored a group of nine individuals walking through the desert close to the southern border on the American side. After several hours, the agents confronted the group and all members admitted to illegally entering the country.

Federal authorities ran the group’s personal information and discovered one of the border crossers, 25-year-old William Amaya-Ortiz of El Salvador, is currently actively involved with the notorious Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang. . .

According to officials Amaya-Ortiz has been caught illegally entering the country four times before and has been deported each time. His rap sheet includes assault charges and at least one DWI in the states.

Another MS-13 gang member part of a different border crossing group was arrested after sneaking into the country on Thursday morning. 30-year-old Oscar Armando Amaya-Martinez is an El Salvador national who has previously been arrested for extortion in his home country. Furious Liberals Lash out at Elon Musk After His Significant Republican Donation Uncovered

Celebrities, liberals, and media members are voicing their frustration with billionaire Elon Musk after his significant donation to a political organization loyal to the Republican Party was uncovered.

Despite considering himself a “socialist” and supporting many liberal views, Musk’s critics blasted him for seemingly being a hypocrite on issues such as climate change.

According to election filings published by ProPublica, Musk donated $33,900 last quarter to Protect the House, a PAC dedicated to maintaining Republican control of the House.

The PAC raised more than $8 million in the second quarter, data shows. Robert McNair, owner of the NFL’s Houston Texans, and businessman Sheldon Adelson were the PAC’s largest donors, each contributing $371,500.

They alleged Musk’s donation proves he is not an ally of progressive causes, and instead shows he is a closeted conservative.

Veteran Says Police Tried to Confiscate His Guns Without a Warrant, Due Process. He Said No.

By The Blaze. Disabled Iraq war veteran Leonard Cottrell Jr. alleges New Jersey State Police attempted to confiscate his firearms last month without a warrant. He stood his ground, held to his Second Amendment rights, and did not let police take them.

Now, Cottrell is blaming a recently implemented New Jersey law, which he says targets law abiding gun owners. . .

Cottrell said his wife allowed the officers to search their home, including his son’s room, but they did not locate any weapons. Still, Cottrell said police wanted to confiscate his firearms — a shotgun and pistol — despite not having a warrant to do so. . .

But Cottrell, who served three tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, was having none of it.

Cottrell said the incident is related to a law New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) signed into law in March. The law allows police to seize guns from law abiding citizens who the state determines pose a threat to themselves or others — even without due process. Vet Says Troopers Asked to Take His Guns Without a Warrant. He Didn’t Let Them

By NJ. . .Cottrell, a disabled U.S. Army veteran who served three tours during “Operation Iraqi Freedom,” owns a shotgun and a pistol. He has all the correct permits to own the firearms, he said, and predominately uses the shotgun to hunt.

He said his wife allowed the officers to enter the home, and with her permission, they searched his son’s room — but they did not find any weapons, he said. The officers, he said, didn’t have a warrant but still wanted to take his guns. Cottrell wouldn’t let them.

“No one from the state was going to take my firearms without due process,” he said Thursday.

He said the attempted seizure resulted because of a new law Gov. Phil Murphy signed into law that makes it easier for police to confiscate guns when someone in the state poses a threat to themselves or others. The law is part of a broader statewide effort to make New Jersey’s gun laws even tougher amid the national outcry for more gun control in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

The U.S. Secret Service said Thursday that schools around the country should establish teams to evaluate potential threats and encourage students to report troubling behavior. (Read more from “Vet Says Troopers Asked to Take His Guns Without a Warrant. He Didn’t Let Them” HERE)

Men Linked to Mexican Drug Cartel Behead 13-Year-Old Special Needs Girl, Murder Grandmother

Two men loosely associated with a brutal Mexican cartel, one of whom is an illegal immigrant, are responsible for beheading a 13-year-old girl with special needs and murdering her grandmother, Alabama law enforcement allege. . .

Authorities say Yoni Aguilar and Israel Gonzalez Palomino murdered Oralia Mendoza and her granddaughter, Mariah Lopez, because they didn’t trust Mendoza after she exhibited suspicious activity during a recent drug running trip to a small town in northeast Atlanta.

Authorities say the group ran drugs for the Sinaloa Cartel, the largest organized crime syndicate in the world. Police say it was Mendoza who had deep connections to the cartel.

According to AL.com, authorities believe something went wrong during their trip, spurring Palomino to believe he was being setup. Upon returning to Huntsville, Palomino discovered Mendoza had removed the SIM card from her cellphone. He also discovered text messages to an unknown woman during the drug run. Police say Mendoza texted a woman asking her to secure Lopez, who was staying with Palomino’s wife, because she feared for their lives, WAAY-TV reported.

After discovering the messages, Aguilar and Palomino allegedly awoke Mendoza in the middle of the night on June 4. They told her they were taking her and Lopez to a safe location. (Read more from “Men Linked to Mexican Drug Cartel Behead 13-Year-Old Special Needs Girl, Murder Grandmother” HERE)

So, Did a Trump Joke Prompt Russia to Hack Hillary Clinton?

By Daily Wire. On Friday, the Mueller investigation handed down 12 indictments against members of the Russian government for hacking Hillary Clinton’s emails, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the Democratic National Committee, among other crimes. There wasn’t much regarding Trump campaign involvement with these Russian agents. The strongest material linked the agents to Roger Stone, a Trump campaign ally who may not have been aware that they were Russian agents at all: he repeatedly tweeted out his support for Guccifer 2.0, who turned out to be a front for the Russians.

With that said, one specific allegation has inflamed the imaginations of those in the media and on the Left: the supposed linkage between then-candidate Donald Trump’s July 27 campaign comments, and the GRU’s attempts to hack Hillary Clinton’s personal email address. . .

It seems clear from the language used in the indictment that the DOJ is trying to connect Trump’s comments with the Russian interference in this case – “after hours” and “for the first time” suggest that something prompted this action. But even if Trump openly called for Russia to hack Hillary and she was hacked, that’s not collusion in any real sense – it’s just nasty, inexcusable jabbering followed by Russian criminality. For there to be collusion, there would have to be planning or a quid pro quo, and there’s no evidence of any of that right now. White House: Trump-Putin Summit ‘Is on’ After Hacking Indictment

By BBC. A summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will go ahead as planned despite tension over Moscow’s alleged election meddling, the White House says.

The pair will meet for talks in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, on Monday.

“It’s on,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters.

But there are calls for the meeting to be cancelled after the US charged 12 Russian intelligence officers with election interference on Friday.

For its part, Russia said it was looking forward to the meeting. (Read more from “White House: Trump-Putin Summit ‘Is on’ After Hacking Indictment” HERE)

Ignore the Protesters: This Is How the British Really Feel About Trump

Thanks to the exaggerated outrage of the mainstream media and the attention-seeking protests of London leftists, a narrative seems to have set in that the vast majority of British people oppose this week’s visit of President Trump. As a Brit myself, however, I am delighted to confirm this lazy slur could not be further from the truth.

In reality, the vast majority of British conservatives (and a good chunk of floating voters too) are coming to admire Trump. His unmistakable approach to politics – straight-talking, honest and completely fearless – is increasingly viewed with envy by British voters tired of backsliding career politicians. Brits look over the Atlantic and see a leader who actually puts his money where his mouth is – and gets results for it too.

To fully understand Trump’s popularity, you have to look at the current state of British politics. Over two years since the country voted to leave the European Union, we have seen virtually zero progress at delivering on the result of the referendum. Rather than battling with Brussels to return our sovereignty, end uncontrolled immigration, and give a better deal to British business, Theresa May’s government has been paralyzed by infighting, trying desperately to scrap together compromises which keep the establishment forces on side. Earlier this year, a British political journalist revealed that Trump often begins his calls with the Prime Minister by asking “are you out yet?” – and you can see why.

It’s no surprise that Brits are increasingly frustrated with the government’s mishandling of Brexit. What’s more interesting is that when you ask them what kind of leader they want to get us out of this mess, an increasing number are saying the same thing: someone like Trump. Brexit supporters observe how he deals with similar rubbish deals (the Iranian nuclear fiasco, for one) and they realize how much more can be achieved when leaders actually show some muscle.

Then there’s the fact that Trump remains the only international leader to publicly suggest offering Britain a new trade deal – something which is wildly popular with mainstream voters. While Brexit’s critics may paint the vote as insular and backwards, they forget that our biggest motivation for leaving Europe was to strike better trade deals elsewhere. As a businessman, Trump respects this. He has made loud and clear overtures in support of a big deal (unlike President Obama, who famously warned the Brits they would be “at the back of the queue” if they left the EU). Democrats Aren’t Going to Like WaPo’s New Poll on Trump’s Immigration Policies

As the Democrats increasingly embrace the radical and widely unpopular #AbolishICE movement promoted by “the future” of the party Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, The Washington Post has some sobering news for the party: a strong majority of Americans support Donald Trump’s policies on detaining illegal immigrant families as opposed to the Democrats’ approach.

The Washington Post found that most Americans disagree with the position pushed by a federal judge in California demanding that the Trump administration quickly release migrants with children who have entered the country illegally and allow the family to stay until a future hearing — the illegal immigration-promoting “catch and release” policy of the Obama administration.

Unfortunately for the #AbolishICE Democrats, the Post found “broad support” not for the Democrats’ preferred policy, but for Trump’s approach:

Despite the legal setback, the Post-Schar School poll shows broad support for the policy Trump administration lawyers pushed for, including among a wide range of political groups. Keeping immigrant families in detention rather than releasing them garners support from 74 percent of Republicans and 60 percent of independents. Democrats — 89 percent of whom disapprove of Trump’s handling of immigration — are almost evenly split on the question, with 49 percent saying families should be detained, while 50 percent say they should be temporarily released.

There is little gender gap on the question, with 59 percent of men and 57 percent of women preferring to detain immigrant families together until their case is resolved. That compares with child-parent separations, about which women were 25 percentage points more likely than men to say they “strongly opposed” (65 percent vs. 40 percent).

Hundreds of CRIMINAL Illegal Aliens Go Free Because of State’s Sanctuary Policies

According to a report prepared by ICE’s Boston field office for the staff of the Massachusetts governor, between March 19 and May 30, 2018, roughly half of the 456 deportable criminal aliens who were arrested eluded ICE, either because local agencies did not honor ICE’s detainers or cooperate with ICE, or because the local agency let the criminals go before ICE could issue a detainer.

In 216 cases, the illegal aliens had committed crimes including rape, assault, firearms possession, drug distribution and trafficking, drug possession, OUI, domestic violence, property crimes, and motor vehicle offenses. But according to the report, in roughly half of the cases the local jails will release aliens on bail without notifying ICE.

130 of the aliens were released from custody before ICE could issue a detainer; 110 of the aliens’ cases were referred to the ICE Criminal Alien Program (CAP) officers, who arrest incarcerated aliens in local jails. . .

These figures demonstrate the significant adverse effect of state and local sanctuary policies on ICE’s ability to remove criminal aliens. The sum of 110 aliens referred to the CAP program and half of the 216 who were subject to detainers that were honored (108) is a total of 218 criminal aliens out of 456. This is only about 48 percent of all deportable criminal aliens that ICE was aware of, that could be readily apprehended and put on the path to removal.

After Attorney General Jeff Sessions cited Lawrence, Massachusetts for protecting criminal alien drug traffickers, Lawrence Mayor Dan Rivera said Sessions’ remarks were a “fabrication,” adding that he was thinking of suing Sessions for libel, claiming Lawrence notifies ICE of every criminal alien. But as Vaughan points out, “Rivera grossly misrepresented the city’s ordinance, which prohibits Lawrence police officers from notifying ICE about any criminal aliens.” (Read more from “Hundreds of Criminal Illegal Aliens Go Free Because of State’s Sanctuary Policies” HERE)
