Here’s How President Trump Is Getting Back at a Democrat Senator Over His VA Nomination

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump praised Republican Matt Rosendale and attacked Senator Jon Tester (D-Mont.) at a rally Thursday that many see as revenge for the Democrat ending a nomination by the president. . .

Trump’s raucous rally in Great Falls, Montana, gave a boost to the Rosendale campaign against the incumbency of the Democrat. . .

Trump accused Tester of saying one thing in Montana and doing the other in Washington D.C., and criticized him for voting against ending Obamacare and the GOP tax cut.

“Jon Tester voted no on legislation to stop late-term abortions,” Trump said to loud booing. “You wouldn’t think it would play very well out here. How did he get elected? I mean I know a lot of people from Montana, you have to explain that one to me – how did he get elected?” . . .

Tester was pivotal in the failed nomination of Ronny Jackson by the president to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. The senator released information that severely damaged the reputation of Jackson as he was being considered for the job.

Sen. Jon Tester Takes out Newspaper Ads Welcoming Trump to Montana Ahead of a Hostile Visit

By The Washington Post. Girding for a hostile visit to his state from President Trump, Democratic Sen. Jon Tester took out full-page newspaper ads Thursday welcoming the commander in chief to Montana and thanking him for signing 16 bills that Tester had pushed. . .

The president has trained his sights on Tester, in particular, saying he would “have a big price to pay” for his role in sinking Trump’s nomination of Ronny L. Jackson to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs in April.

In his role as the ranking Democrat on the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Tester released a list of allegations that created a portrait of a long history of professional misconduct by Jackson. Those included claims that Jackson had a “pattern” of distributing medication with no patient history and that he crashed a government vehicle while intoxicated after a Secret Service going-away party. Trudeau on Groping Allegation: I Did Nothing Wrong but Someone May Have Experienced It ‘Differently’

By Townhall. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded again Thursday to allegations that he groped a female reporter nearly 20 years ago at the 2000 Kokanee Summit festival. . .

Initially the Canadian Prime Minister told The Washington Post that he remembered “no negative interactions from that day. . .

However, on Thursday, Trudeau admitted that he did apologize to the reporter and that he respects that she “might have experienced” the interaction “differently.”

“If I apologized later, it would be because I sensed that she was not entirely comfortable with the interaction that we had,” he said, before finally admitting, “I apologized in the moment.”

“I’ve been reflecting very carefully on what I remember from that incident almost 20 years ago,” he added. “I do not feel that I acted inappropriately in any way. But I respect the fact that someone else might have experienced that differently.” (Read more from “Trudeau on Groping Allegation: I Did Nothing Wrong but Someone May Have Experienced It ‘Differently'” HERE)

Woman Who Accused Trudeau of Groping Breaks Her Silence

By CBC. The woman who alleged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau touched her inappropriately some two decades ago issued a statement Friday saying the incident happened as described — but she now wants to be left alone.

“I issue this statement reluctantly, in response to mounting media pressure to confirm that I was the reporter who was the subject of the Open Eyes editorial, published in the Creston Valley Advance in August of 2000,” Rose Knight, the former journalist, wrote.

“The incident referred to in the editorial did occur, as reported. Mr. Trudeau did apologize the next day. I did not pursue the incident at the time and will not be pursuing the incident further. I have had no subsequent contact with Mr. Trudeau, before or after he became Prime Minister.”

Knight, who said she has since left journalism, added she will not speak any further about the incident. (Read more from “Woman Who Accused Trudeau of Groping Breaks Her Silence” HERE)

Complaint Filed Against Maxine Waters – Here’s the Reason Why

Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) over her recent speech that encouraged the harassment of Trump administration officials in public.

In a hand-delivered letter to the chairman and co-chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics, Judicial Watch asked for an investigation into whether the California Democrat “violated House ethics rules by encouraging violence against Trump administration Cabinet members.”

Last month, Waters told a crowd: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere.”

In encouraging individuals to create “crowds” who will “push back” on President Trump’s Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Waters seems to be violation of House rules, specifically:

A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]

Guess Which Restaurant Was Crowned America’s Favorite Fast Food Chain? Leftists Will Hate This

More and more evidence keeps pouring in that the Left’s war on the fast food chain Chick-fil-A has failed abysmally. For the third year in a row, it has been crowned America’s number one fast-food chain.

“Chick-fil-A was named America’s top fast-food restaurant for the third year in a row in the 2018 American Customer Satisfaction Index’s Restaurant Report, which surveyed more than 22,500 American consumers,” reports Ledger-Enquirer. . .

“The chicken specialist dominates the rankings with the highest score across both restaurant categories, and its food quality continues to rate higher than the competition. Chick-fil-A maintains a wide lead over chicken rival KFC, as the Yum! Brands chain slips 1% to 77,” the report said.

The Atlanta-based company has held the top spot for three years now, which means their popularity only climbed following the backlash over CEO Dan Cathy expressing support for traditional marriage. The controversy reached such a fever-pitch that even city mayors tried to ban them from doing business. (Read more from “Guess Which Restaurant Was Crowned America’s Favorite Fast Food Chain? Insane Video of Comedian ‘Groping’ Ivanka Trump Resurfaces After He’s Charged for Sexual Battery

By Bizpac Review. The bizarre incident where actor and comedian Andy Dick groped Ivanka Trump in 2007 on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” takes on new meaning upon the report that Dick has been charged with groping a woman on a Los Angeles street earlier this year. . .

“You don’t play up the glitter on your legs?” he says, before trying to feel her up — to Trump’s credit, she a good sport about it as she laughs and slaps away his hand.

“Andy, please don’t touch Ivanka,” Kimmel says as he gets up. “Donald Trump will kill both of us.”

“Andy did a segment, he was a little out of it,” Kimmel said. “She (Ivanka) came out… he wanted a big, wet kiss. It was time for Andy to go, so I escorted him out by his feet.”

Dick referred to the incident in December 2017 on Instagram, using it to take a swipe at President Trump.

Andy Dick Gropes Pamela Anderson’s Breasts, Ivanka Trump’s Leg in Resurfaced, Decade-Old Clips

By USA Today. Days after Andy Dick was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery for groping a woman on a Los Angeles street, videos have resurfaced of the actor rubbing Ivanka Trump’s legs during an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2007 and grabbing and fondling Pamela Anderson’s breasts during a 2005 Comedy Central roast.

In the Anderson clip, Dick claims to be her “breasts’ creator,” before walking behind the former “Baywatch” star, reaching around and fondling the surprised actress’ breasts.

After about a minute of touching and squeezing, Dick says, “Don’t worry. She can’t feel any of this.” Anderson quickly replies, “I can so.” . . .

Empty-Handed Robert Mueller’s Hunt for Collusion Has Expanded

Since May of last year, former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been on the hunt for Trump-Russia collusion. Although he has failed to bring a single collusion-related charge, Mueller has reportedly expanded his probe, tying up millions of dollars in federal resources to continue his perpetual hunt.

Bloomberg reports that Mueller is now relying on several additional prosecutors from the Department of Justice for his Russian interference investigation.

The special counsel has produced many indictments against several Russian nationals and Trump campaign officials, but none of the charges are at all related to collusion. Some indictments have nothing at all to do with Russia-related matters.

Mueller has been able to pursue endless leads thanks to his open mandate, which was delivered to him by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, whose 2017 order allowed Mueller to investigate “any matters that arose or may arise indirectly from the investigation.”

The origins of the Mueller probe began with an Obama administration intelligence community assessment that alleged the Russian government pursued a sophisticated influence operations campaign to throw the election to Donald Trump. However, countless Russia experts and former government officials have now come to contest the assessment, arguing that Russia’s goal was instead to sow discord.

If Russia’s primary objective was to sow discord, the Mueller probe itself appears to be perfectly serving Russia’s goal. Mueller has essentially become the fourth branch of the government. His prosecutorial campaign and the endless expansion of his mandate and unchecked powers are egged on and protected by the Left.

Mueller’s staff currently includes 17 prosecutors, some of whom are overt partisans who have shown hostility toward the sitting U.S. president. Several prosecutors with clear biases have remained on Mueller’s team, even after it was disclosed that they showed a clear preference for Hillary Clinton. Disgraced FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were removed from Mueller’s team after their extreme anti-Trump bias was discovered and publicly reported.

To make matters worse for Mueller’s legitimacy (and declining support in public polling), several special counsel indictments are now being contested in court. High-ranking members of Congress are also investigating the legitimacy of the indictments against decorated retired three-star general Michael Flynn.

It remains unknown when, if ever, Mueller will conclude his investigation. After a year and one month, he is no closer to finding evidence of collusion than he was on day one of his appointment. But that hasn’t stopped his team of aggressive — but unsuccessful — prosecutors from chasing down leads across the globe. For now, Mueller’s crusade expands, while the taxpayers foot the bill for an investigation that seems to have found its sole purpose in delegitimizing the mandate of the duly elected president. China Says the U.S. Has Started ‘the Biggest Trade War’ in History

By CNN Money. China on Friday accused the United States of starting “the biggest trade war in economic history” as US tariffs took effect on Chinese goods worth $34 billion.

“China is forced to strike back to safeguard core national interests and the interests of its people,” the country’s Commerce Ministry said in a statement after US tariffs kicked in just after midnight ET, which is noon in Beijing. . .

Even before Friday, the trade dispute between the world’s top two economies had rattled markets and prompted warnings from companies of damage to their bottom lines and higher prices for consumers.

The United States is also set to impose 25% tariffs on another $16 billion in Chinese exports later in the summer, and China has vowed to retaliate against US goods worth a similar amount. (Read more from “China Says the U.S. Has Started ‘the Biggest Trade War’ in History” HERE)

The Facts: 48,000 Assaults Attributed to Illegal Aliens in 2017

Illegal [aliens] who were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement were responsible for more than 48,000 assault offenses in 2017, according to a White House press release Thursday.

Illegals captured by ICE were also responsible for more than 5,000 sexual assault offenses, 2,000 kidnapping offenses, 1,800 homicide offenses and 76,000 dangerous drug offenses, according to the press release. . .

The release also highlights the role of ICE in seizing illegal drugs, noting the agency seized 980,000 pounds of narcotics in 2017, with 2,370 pounds of fentanyl and 6,967 pounds of heroin seized. . .

The release comes in the wake of several Democrats calling for the abolition of ICE, including New York Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington, according to a Tuesday CNN report.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also called for the abolition of ICE on Tuesday, tweeting that the agency was “cruel” and “dysfunctional” and claiming that Americans overwhelmingly want to abolish it. (Read more from “The Facts: 48,000 Assaults Attributed to Illegal Aliens in 2017” HERE)

Facebook Celebrates July 4th by Censoring the Declaration of Independence

(Editor’s note: This is yet ANOTHER incident where Facebook has been caught censoring pro-American or patriotic content. See Restoring Liberty’s exclusive July 4th article on this growing problem HERE)

While Americans across the country were gearing up to celebrate Independence Day, the temporary censorship of a Facebook post left one newspaper feeling a little less-than-free to celebrate American independence.

Just days before the July 4th holiday, Texas newspaper The Liberty County Vindicator was posting daily excerpts from the Declaration of Independence in anticipation. . .

After the post was censored, Casey Stinnett, The Vindicator’s managing editor, voiced the paper’s concerns about continuing to post text from the Declaration.

“So, the removal of this morning’s post puts The Vindicator in a quandary about whether to continue with posting the final two parts of the Declaration scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday. Should Facebook find anything in them offensive, The Vindicator could lose its Facebook page,” he wrote.

An increasing number of publishers have recently faced this very situation. This begs the question: With no telling what will be censored next, how can publishers continue to trust an automated system to decide what news can and can’t be shared?
