Watch: Reporter Makes Absurd Claim About Trump Rally After Getting Criticized

CNN’s Jim Acosta complained on Wednesday evening about the way he was treated yesterday during President Donald Trump’s rally in Tampa, Florida, claiming that he felt like he “wasn’t in America anymore.”

Appearing on HLN with host S.E. Cupp, Acosta recounted his experience at the recent Trump rally where he was mocked and Trump supporters chanted “CNN Sucks!” while he was on camera.

“Honestly, it felt like we weren’t in America anymore,” Acosta said. “I don’t know how to put it any more plainly than that.” . . .

“He is whipping these crowds up into a frenzy to the point where they really want to come after us,” Acosta complained. “My sense of it is that these opinions these folks have at these rallies, they’re shaped by what they see in the primetime hours of Fox News and what they hear from some conservative news outlets that just sort of give them this daily diet of what they consider to be terrible things we do over here at CNN.”

Illegal Alien Charged With Child Sex Crimes

By Daily Wire. . .State police and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials traced pornographic videos involving children to Samuel Mendez-Garcia, an illegal alien who was blocked from entering the U.S. in 2002. . .

Prosecutors say that Facebook and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported Mendez-Garcia for the child porn videos in April and then alerted Rhode Island officials. . .

Illegal From Guatemala Charged With Distributing Child Porn

By Washington Times. Federal authorities this week arrested an illegal immigrant from Guatemala on charges of distributing child pornography videos through Facebook.

Prosecutors said Samuel Mendez-Garcia was reported in April by Facebook and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who spotted and confirmed the videos, then alerted police in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island police and agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement traced the video back to Mr. Mendez-Garcia, and eventually found more than 50 videos and images of child pornography on the man’s cellphone.

The criminal complaint filed Tuesday includes stomach-churning details of prepubescent girls and boys forced into sexual activities with adults.

When police first confronted Mr. Mendez-Garcia about the original child pornography video he admitted he received it from a group on the Whatsapp instant messaging application named “El sexo.” (Read more from “Illegal From Guatemala Charged With Distributing Child Porn” HERE)

New Poll Finds Dem Would Beat Trump in Hypothetical Matchup

Former Vice President Joe Biden would beat President Trump in a hypothetical 2020 matchup, according to a new poll.

Politico/Morning Consult found Biden would be 7 points ahead of the current commander in chief, with 44 percent of registered voters saying they’d support the former VP compared to 37 percent who said they’d vote to reelect Trump.

Registered Democrats favored a generic candidate over Biden by 9 points, with 89 percent saying they would vote for a generic Democrat compared to 80 percent who said they would vote for Biden. . .

“Biden never by himself could ever do anything. President Obama took him, made him vice president and he was fine. But you go back and look at how he succeeded in running, when he ran two or three times, I don’t think he ever … broke one. He was at the … 1 percent or less level,” Trump added. . .

Expect to see many more polls like this in the weeks and months to come. Of course you remember that just days before the 2016 presidential election pollsters and statisticians put Clinton’s odds of winning between 75 and 99 percent. So take these surveys with a grain of salt. (Read more from “New Poll Finds Dem Would Beat Trump in Hypothetical Matchup” HERE)

Joy Behar Says Photo of Al Franken Groping Woman Was a ‘Sophomoric Joke’ and He’s a ‘Gentleman’

“View” host Joy Behar defended disgraced former Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) Wednesday, calling a photo of him appearing to grope radio anchor Leeann Tweeden as she slept a “sophomoric joke.” She insisted he was a “gentleman.”

“Right after Al Franken attacked … Jeff Sessions,” Behar claimed, “he suddenly became the target of the right wing, to get him out of office, and then Gilligrand, Gillibrand—is that her name? She was out to get him also, and the Democrats decided, ‘Oh, we’re going to take the high road,’ and they basically lost a really good senator, in my opinion.”

Franken was forced to resign after being accused of groping multiple women. Leeann Tweeden provided photographic evidence of former Sen. Franken appearing to grope her as she slept in November. She also said Franken forcibly kissed her, an incident Franken says he remembers differently.

“That was a sophomoric joke by a comedian,” Behar said dismissively of the photo. “In a time when he didn’t know he was going to become a senator. He was fooling around. He was a comic. And, to his credit, he said, ‘She didn’t have any ability to consent. She had every right to feel violated by that photo.’”

“So he’s a gentleman, and he took the hit,” Behar concluded. “Now, can we please move on and get the great senator back, and get rid of the president.”

Judge Rules in Multi-State Lawsuit Seeking to Halt Publication of 3-D Printed Gun Blueprints

Federal Judge Robert Lasnik on Tuesday issued a temporary restraining order against Cody Wilson and his company, Defense Distributed, which would bar the federal government from allowing Wilson’s company to distribute 3-D printed gun blueprints. The decision comes after eight states and the District of Columbia, led by Washington State, sued to prevent Wilson’s Aug. 1 publishing schedule.

“The judge’s rule is clear,” Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said at a news conference. “We go back to the status quo, before the federal government made the disastrous decision to undo these protections for public safety.” . . .

Gun control advocates are applauding the decision. Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, tweeted, urging her followers to call their Congressmen:
