By The Hill. President Trump on Monday tweeted that he would be “so lucky” if former Secretary of State John Kerry launched a White House bid to challenge Trump in 2020.

“I see that John Kerry, the father of the now terminated Iran deal, is thinking of running for President. I should only be so lucky – although the field that is currently assembling looks really good – FOR ME!” Trump tweeted.

Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, did not rule out a potential 2020 White House bid during an interview on Sunday. He said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that talking about the 2020 race is a “distraction.”

“Talking about 2020 right now is a total distraction and waste of time,” Kerry said. “What we need to do is focus on 2018. We need to win back the confidence of the country to move in a better direction and to do it in sensible ways. We are in a moment of crisis for our country. Trump Slams John Kerry as ‘Father’ of Iran Deal Amid 2020 Speculation

By Fox News. President Trump slammed John Kerry on Monday, labeling the former Massachusetts senator and secretary of state the “father” of the Iran nuclear deal amid speculation that Kerry could challenge Trump in the 2020 election. . .

In January, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Kerry, during a visit to the Middle East, told Palestinian officials he was considering running for president in 2020.

Trump has been critical not only of the Iran deal but also of Kerry’s role in negotiating the now-defunct agreement. The president repeatedly has called Kerry the “worst negotiator I’ve ever seen.”

Kerry also criticized former President Barack Obama in his CBS interview, arguing that Obama should have followed through on his infamous “red line” warning to Syria, and that the United States “paid a price” as a result of Obama’s inaction. Watch Ridiculous 1973 Doomsday Prediction

Another “doomsday date” is looming – this one largely forgotten since an Australian television network broadcast globalist predictions of over-population, pollution, hunger and poverty. . .

It’s all based on a computer program developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology circa 1973 by pioneer Jay Forrester who was commissioned by the Club of Rome to determine how sustainable global mega-trends were at the time. . .

The Club of Rome is an organization comprised of thinkers, former world heads of states, scientists, and U.N. bureaucrats with the mission to “promote understanding of the global challenges facing humanity and to propose solutions through scientific analysis, communication, and advocacy.”

Dug up from the TV vaults, the program predicts things are going to get extremely bad in 2020 – just about the time, coincidentally, Donald Trump is seeking re-election as president of the United States. That’s when the quality of life goes down to zero. Pollution becomes so serious it will start to kill people, which in turn will cause the population to diminish, lower than it was in the 1900s.

The Club of Rome predicted some nations, like the U.S., would have to cut back on their appetites for gobbling up the world’s resources. It hoped that in the future world, prestige would stem from “low consumption” (the term “carbon footprint,” had not yet been devised). Trump ‘Is Mentally Ill,’ Doctor and Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean Says

By Newsweek. Dr. Howard Dean, a physician who previously served as the governor of Vermont, told MSNBC on Sunday that Donald Trump suffers from mental illness and he is unfit to be president.

“I’ve long believed the president is mentally ill,” Dean said as part of a panel discussion hosted by Alex Witt, Raw Story reported. “And I believe narcissism overcomes his ability to know, A, what’s good for the country, and B, what’s good for him.”

Dean’s remarks came in the context of Trump’s response to the death of Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona. The president repeatedly attacked McCain for opposing his policies and was reportedly not invited to the senator’s funeral.

“Trump has been an outlier since he’s been president and he’s not a particularly well respected person,” Dean explained. “He wasn’t very well respected when he was in business in New York and he’s not very well respected now.” . . .

Numerous others have previously raised concerns about the president’s mental fitness. In 2017, a group of psychiatrists and psychologists released a book analyzing the president’s mental health, which became an instant bestseller.

President Trump’s Description of What’s ‘Fake’ Is Expanding

President Trump was bombarded with negative news cycles last month, so he turned to Twitter, venting frustrations and dismissing an increasingly wide variety of things he doesn’t like as “fake” or “phony.” Presidential tweets about “fake news” aren’t new, but August was unique in the sheer frequency of such presidential declarations on Twitter. There were more tweets in August about things Trump labels fake and phony than in any other month of his presidency.

This is part of a trend: as Trump’s presidency has gone on, these kinds of tweets have increased over time, with peaks coming in months with particularly bad headlines for the president.

The range of things Trump is declaring fake is growing too. Last month he tweeted about “fake books,” “the fake dossier,” “fake CNN,” and he added a new claim – that Google search results are “RIGGED” to mostly show only negative stories about him. He also accused NBC News’ Lester Holt of “fudging” the tape of his May 2017 interview conducted shortly after Trump fired FBI director James Comey. California Legislators Prohibit Schools From Starting Before 8:30am. the Reason Will Have Parents Groan.

By Townhall. Lawmakers in the Golden State on Friday voted to prohibit middle and high schools from starting before 8:30a.m., one of the final bills the legislature was able to pass during its last day in session, Fox News reported.

The bill, SB328, was extremely controversial. Proponents of the bill say teenagers are facing sleep deprivation when their natural sleep cycle keeps them up late but school forces them to get up early, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), roughly 80 percent of California’s middle and high schools start before 8:30a.m., something proponents believe needs to change.

“Research shows teens do better in school, have lower rates of depression and anxiety and fewer car accidents when school start times start later,” the Chronicle reported.

The bill goes into effect in 2021, should Gov. Jerry Brown (D) sign it. The exceptions to the start time would be made for rural schools or extra periods that begin before the normal school period. California Votes to Bar Schools From Starting Before 8:30am to Help Give Students More Sleep

By AP. California lawmakers voted Friday to bar middle and high schools from starting before 8:30 a.m., one of dozens of proposals debated in the Legislature on the final day of its legislative session. . .

Lawmakers also announced they were shelving several high profile bills, including one that would have declared gay conversion therapy a fraudulent business practice.

Actor Uses Disturbing Child Rape Case to Push for Border Wall Construction

Conservative actor James Woods is generally a commenter on the news, but a Woods tweet over the weekend is making news of its own.

In the Twitter post, Woods drew his 1.68 million followers’ attention to a case out of New York City that features a suspected MS-13 member’s alleged rape of an 11-year-old girl.

And Woods’ readers responded with revulsion.

According to Fox News, the arrest involved Julio Ayala, 18, a native of El Salvador.

Fox reported that Ayala was arrested Saturday after a manhunt that started Wednesday night, when he allegedly “climbed into the girl’s bedroom in Brooklyn through the second-floor window about 11:30 p.m. and raped her.”

According to the New York Post, Ayala carried a federal Permanent Resident Card, known as a “green card,” which would mean he was in the country legally.

But given the suspect’s purported membership in the notorious MS-13 gang, which has well-known ties to illegal alien networks – and crime — it was a reminder of what is at stake in the illegal immigration debate.

And Woods made his support for one of President Donald Trump’s proposed solutions to the illegal alien problem quite clear: #BuildTheWall.

The rape of a child is horrific, but it’s a crime that would likely pass under the national radar if it weren’t picked up by a conservative with the kind of recognition and Twitter following that Woods has built.

Considering that, the Ayala case might get more recognition than it would have without Woods’ publicizing it — and the price the country pays as a whole for an immigration system that permits criminal gangs like MS-13 might become more apparent.

According to the New York Post, Ayala has been charged with “sexually motivated burglary and first-degree rape.”

As he was led away, according to the Post, neighbors cheered.

“That makes me feel unsafe in my own home,” one woman, a 42-year-old resident of the Brooklyn neighborhood, told the Post.

Monica Lewinsky Ditches Interview After Question About Bill Clinton Apology

Monica Lewinsky abruptly ended a live interview and walked off stage at a Jerusalem event Monday after she was asked whether former President Bill Clinton owed her a personal apology.

Lewinsky had just finished speaking to a crowd at the Jerusalem Convention Center about the cyberbullying she had experienced after her sexual relationship with Clinton was made public in the late 1990s and sat down to take one-on-one questions from NewsChannel 2 anchor Levi Yonit.

“Recently in an interview on NBC News, former President Clinton was rather irate when he was asked if he’d apologized to you personally and he said, ‘I apologized publicly.’ Do you still expect that apology? A personal apology?” Yonit asked.

Texas Sheriff Heartbroken After Illegal Aliens Murder 2 Police Dogs

Over the weekend, two canines, who were helping Aransas and Refugio County Duputies, were strangled to death by an illegal immigrant. The dogs were assisting in a police chase after more than a dozen individuals jumped out of a truck.

The chase started when a police officer pulled over a black Ford pickup north of Holiday Beach. The pickup pulled over, but then took off leading to a high speed chase.

The truck then hit a brush line where 14-16 people jumped out of the truck and fled on foot.

According to a Facebook post by the Aransas County Sheriff’s Office, Refugio County offered canines to assist in the chase that were “non agressive, non-bite trained.”

The Sheriff’s Office writes that, while they had dogs they could deploy that could defend themselves, they chose to use these dogs to protect individuals that were caught in a chase such as this.

Officers soon located three individuals and apprehended two of them. However, one individual evaded capture and yelled out in Spanish, “If you want me, come and get me.”

It was then that the officers found the two canines strangled to death. The sheriff’s office wrote, “The collars carrying trackers had been twisted tightly about their necks causing their deaths.”

Six individuals were eventually captured including the individual believed to have been responsible for the death of the dogs. The sheriff’s office writes that those who were captured are believed to be from Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico.

“While most “Bail Outs” end with detentions after exhaustive searches they do not show this level of aggressive behavior,” the sheriff office writes, “Serving as a reminder to officers yesterday afternoon that while we are still dealing with individuals who may have questionable immigration status these encounters can turn just as violent as any domestic dispute we respond to.”

They continue by saying, “And while every effort is being taken to insure everyone’s safety, we are reminded that not everyone we encounter shows the same level of respect for the rule of law and or life even for highly trained animals.”

The office reminded its readers that these dogs aren’t originally intended to track dangerous suspects, but rather individuals who are missing due to dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Microwave Weapons Are Prime Suspect in Ills of U.S. Embassy Workers

By The New York Times. . .More recently, the American military itself sought to develop microwave arms that could invisibly beam painfully loud booms and even spoken words into people’s heads. The aims were to disable attackers and wage psychological warfare.

Now, doctors and scientists say such unconventional weapons may have caused the baffling symptoms and ailments that, starting in late 2016, hit more than three dozen American diplomats and family members in Cuba and China. The Cuban incidents resulted in a diplomatic rupture between Havana and Washington.

The medical team that examined 21 affected diplomats from Cuba made no mention of microwaves in its detailed report published in JAMA in March. But Douglas H. Smith, the study’s lead author and director of the Center for Brain Injury and Repair at the University of Pennsylvania, said in a recent interview that microwaves were now considered a main suspect and that the team was increasingly sure the diplomats had suffered brain injury. Embassy ‘Sonic Attacks’ May Have Been Microwave Blasts

When researchers postulated that the “sonic attacks” on embassies in Cuba (and more recently China) were the fault of malfunctioning surveillance gear, that wasn’t the end to concerns about the true cause… if anything, there’s more worry than ever. The University of Pennsylvania’s Douglas Smith (who led a paper discussing the trauma of embassy victims) said in an interview that microwave blasts are now considered primary candidates. The concussion-like symptoms more closely line up with microwaves and other radio frequency-related illnesses than previous explanations, including straightforward acoustic attack, anxiety or viruses.

Embassy staff may have been subjected to the Frey effect, where microwaves fool the brain into perceiving phantom noises when they hit the temporal lobes processing signals from your ears. Inmates Exact Their Revenge on Convicted Baby Torturer

By Conservative Tribune. A notorious baby torturer in the United Kingdom was held hostage in his cell for four hours and beaten by other inmates with tuna cans in socks, the U.K. Daily Star reported.

Tony Smith, 47, was in Swaleside Prison in Kent after he was convicted of abusing his baby son so badly that both the boy’s legs had to be amputated.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, the court at Maidstone Crown Court in Kent heard that his child was seconds from death from septicemia — blood poisoning — by the time doctors saw him at 41 days old. . .

The case became a major media incident in the United Kingdom after pictures of the couple’s squalid apartment became public. Both were apparently heroin addicts. According to a report in the U.K. Mirror, the infant’s injuries might have been caused by being swung by the ankles.

Smith and Simpson denied causing harm to the child but were each convicted for what were described as “a series of spiteful assaults” on the young boy, also named Tony Smith. Baby Torturer Battered With Tuna Can Behind Bars in Brit Prison

By Dailystar. Tony Smith, who abused his weeks-old son so badly his legs had to be amputated, was taken hostage and beaten almost to death.

Smith was left with a fractured eye socket, broken ribs and a broken jaw after being pounced on by two inmates at Swaleside Prison – known as “Stabside” – on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.

They tied him to a chair and assaulted him with the homemade cosh as well as metal bars. . .

“They came into contact with Smith and held him hostage in his own cell for four hours.

Al Sharpton Turns Aretha Franklin’s Funeral Political, Steals Limelight Like Only He Can

By Conservative Tribune. As the world mourned the passing of a great American musical icon, Aretha Franklin, Al Sharpton used the opportunity to turn her funeral into a political spectacle. And, of course, the target of his comments was President Donald Trump. . .

He continued, “When word went out that Ms. Franklin passed, Trump said she used to work for me. No, she used to perform for you. She worked for us. Aretha never took orders from nobody but God.” . . .

Trump’s apparent gaffe came on Aug. 16, the day Franklin died from pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.

“I want to begin today by expressing my condolences to the family of a person I knew well. She worked for me on numerous occasions. She was terrific — Aretha Franklin — on her passing,” Trump said during a cabinet meeting.

“She’s brought joy to millions of lives and her extraordinary legacy will thrive and inspire many generations to come. She was given a great gift from God — her voice, and she used it well. People loved Aretha. She was a special woman. Aretha Franklin funeral eulogy slammed; pastor stands firm

By AP. A fiery, old-school pastor who is under fire for saying black America is losing “its soul” at Aretha Franklin’s funeral stands firm by his words with the hope critics can understand his perspective.

Rev. Jasper Williams Jr. told The Associated Press in a phone interview Sunday he felt his sermon was appropriate at Franklin’s funeral Friday in Detroit. He felt his timing was right, especially after other speakers spoke on the civil rights movement and President Donald Trump.

“I was trying to show that the movement now is moving and should move in a different direction,” he said. “… What we need to do is create respect among ourselves. Aretha is the person with that song ‘R-E-S-P-E-C-T’ that is laid out for us and what we need to be as a race within ourselves. We need to show each other that. We need to show each other respect.
