Shocking Poll Reveals Number of Americans Who Want to Leave Country for Good

. . .According to a recent Gallup Poll, a full 16% of Americans want to leave the United States for good, which matches the numbers from 2017. What’s significant about the numbers is how much they sharply contrast with the number of Americans who wished to leave during the George W. Bush (11%) or Barack Obama administrations (10%). While Gallup did not inquire upon people’s political leanings when taking the poll, desire to leave was strongest among women and young Americans.

“During the first two years of the Trump administration, a record-high one in five U.S. women (20%) said they would like to move to another country permanently if they could,” reports Gallup. “This is twice the average for women during the Obama (10%) or Bush years (11%) and almost twice the level among men (13%) under Trump. Before the Trump years, there was no difference between men’s and women’s desires to move.”

Obviously, none of this has to do with any of President Trump’s policies, because contrary to the fantastical ruminations of feminists, women do not live in “The Handmaid’s Tail” under this current administration. So if women are so triggered by President Trump that they want to leave, it seemingly has everything to do with his character and rhetoric. . .

For younger Americans under 30, the 30% who wish to leave also represents a significant uptick over earlier years, with 40% of women younger than 30 saying they would like to leave versus 20% of men in the same age group. After age 50, the gap narrows and eventually disappears.

Poorer Americans also desire to migrate at higher levels (20%), more than twice the percentage than during Obama’s term. “So far under Trump, three in 10 Americans (30%) in the poorest 20% say they would like to migrate if they could, compared with an average of 13% under Obama,” reports Gallup. School Official Who Allegedly Told Transgender Teen ‘You Freak Me out’ Faces Penalty

A West Virginia assistant principal who allegedly told a transgender teen to “prove” [she] was a boy in a bathroom faces suspension.

A school board will meet today to consider whether Liberty High School Assistant Principal Lee Livengood will be suspended indefinitely without pay, according to the Associated Press.

The incident occurred Nov. 27. Livengood was suspended with pay last month from the Clarksburg school. The suspension ran through the end of the semester, when the holiday break began, AP reported. . .

The Charleston Gazette-Mail said Michael went to the restroom before going on a band trip and that other students heard Livengood shouting and notified a trip chaperone.

“A chaperone found out he had me barricaded in the bathroom. By the time she came, I was breaking down and had quivering lips. She kept asking me what was wrong and I just kept pushing it off, because she wouldn’t be able to understand with me crying or it just wouldn’t come out right.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Green New Deal’ Is Powered by Unicorns

The idea that conservatives are generally upset over a video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez imitating the dance scene from “The Breakfast Club” may be a textbook example of fake news. In contrast, her proposal for a “Green New Deal” is real news, but fake policy.

In a “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday, the darling of democratic socialism proposed eliminating carbon emissions within 12 years. Ocasio-Cortez has previously avoided specifying how she would pay for her “Green New Deal.”

The “Frequently Asked Questions” section accompanying her draft resolution claims it could be funded in the “same ways that we paid for the 2008 bank bailout and extended quantitative easing programs, the same ways we paid for World War II and many other wars. The Federal Reserve can extend credit to power these projects and investments, new public banks can be created (as in WWII) to extend credit and a combination of various taxation tools (including taxes on carbon and other emissions and progressive wealth taxes) can be employed.” The war metaphor is among the classics of collectivism.

Ocasio-Cortez now falls back on the comforting myth that everything is affordable by soaking the rich with higher income taxes. She told Anderson Cooper that “once you get to, like, the tippy tops, on your 10 millionth dollar, sometimes you see tax rates as high as 60 or 70 percent. That doesn’t mean all $10 million are taxed at an extremely high rate, but it means that as you climb up this ladder you should be contributing more.” . . .

In a nutshell (where Ocasio-Cortez is dwelling, policy-wise), the problem is that our technological capacities are not quite what they are in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Tom Pyle, president of the Institute for Energy Research: “One hundred percent renewable energy defies the laws of physics. It would be impossible to achieve.” There is no Tony Stark here with an Arc Reactor for everyone. Instead, we have Elon Musk, sparking up like Bob Marley after years of government subsidies. Court Allows Christian Baker to Sue Colorado for Anti-Religious Hostility

The owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop can proceed with his lawsuit against the state of Colorado after a judge refused to dismiss the case.

Jack Phillips has accused the Colorado Civil Rights Commission of anti-religious bias because it punished him for refusing to bake a cake celebrating gender transition. Phillips, represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, filed suit when the state chose to prosecute him even after he won his case at the U.S. Supreme Court in June. . .

“Colorado is acting in bad faith and with bias toward Jack,” said ADF Senior Counsel Jim Campbell. “We look forward to moving forward with this lawsuit to ensure that Jack isn’t forced to create custom cakes that express messages in conflict with his faith.”

The Colorado Civil Rights Commission said Phillips discriminated against Denver attorney Autumn Scardina because she’s transgender. Phillips’ shop refused to make a cake last year that was blue on the outside and pink on the inside after Scardina revealed she wanted it to celebrate her transition from male to female.

She asked for the cake on the same day the U.S. Supreme Court announced it would consider Phillips’ appeal of the previous commission ruling against him. In that 2012 case, he refused to make a wedding cake for same-sex couple Charlie Craig and Dave Mullins. Students Slam ‘Trump’ Wall Quotes, Then They Learn Who Actually Said Them

As the government shutdown continues due the impasse in Congress over the funding for President Trump’s “big, beautiful wall,” Campus Reform thought it would be enlightening to visit a college campus and hear from students on the problem driving the whole wall idea: illegal immigration.

What Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips found was that students at American University recoiled at the rhetoric of Democratic leaders — if they thought it was Trump doing the talking, that is. . .

So would students agree with the unequivocal assertions by Democratic leaders about the importance of stopping illegal immigrants from “pour[ing] into the United States undetected, undocumented and unchecked” and their commitment to “build[ing] a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in”? . . .

Phillips begins by asking the students how they feel about the idea of a border wall generally. He gets a bunch of negative responses, including that a wall is “absolutely horrendous.” . . .

When Phillips finally reveals that the quotes were from Schumer, Obama and Clinton, the students are largely left speechless, sometimes laughing: “How about that?!” says one student, smiling.

Report: Facebook and Twitter Consult With Terror-Tied CAIR Over Who Gets Banned From Platforms

The Hamas-tied Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is best known as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing case in U.S. history, appears to have access to high-ranking Facebook and Twitter executives and has communicated with these individuals about who should be allowed to stay on their platforms, according to a Wall Street Journal report published Tuesday.

The Wall Street Journal reports that CAIR officials “complained to Twitter” about activist Laura Loomer, citing a tweet in which she called the anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., an anti-Semite and an apologist for Sharia law. Loomer was later permanently banned from Twitter.

Zahra Billoo, the executive director of CAIR’s San Francisco chapter, was quoted in the Journal piece as an individual who appears to have special access to both Twitter and Facebook.

“The council doesn’t often step in to advocate against other users, says Executive Director Zahra Billoo, but did so in the case of Ms. Loomer based on her previous comments about Muslims,” the piece explains.

Yet the Wall Street Journal fails to note that Billoo herself is a proven radical extremist. In tweets that remain publicly available, Billoo has expressed her support for an Islamic caliphate and Sharia law. She also claims, in multiple tweets, that ISIS is on the same moral plane as American and Israeli soldiers, adding that “our troops are engaged in terrorism.”

Billoo is not an anomaly at CAIR. Her views reflect the mainstream consensus within the organization, which over the years has attempted to transform itself from a clandestine Hamas-funding operation to a mainstream Muslim “civil rights organization.” CAIR directors have cheered terrorist attacks, publicly declared support for terrorist groups, and engage in regular bigotry against various religions, ethnicities, women, homosexuals, and others.

However, not everyone is buying into this supposed transformation. In 2014, the United Arab Emirates classified CAIR as a terrorist organization, given its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Several bills have been introduced in both houses of Congress designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. It remains unclear if CAIR would be included, given its substantial ties to Hamas and, by extension, the Muslim Brotherhood.

For years, Silicon Valley tech giants have been all too eager to look the other way and allow groups like CAIR to use their platform to spread propaganda completely unchecked. Others have bought into the group’s newfound “civil rights group” label and even funded CAIR’s advocacy. Now, the social media titans appear to be consulting with CAIR on the censoring and banning of unwanted individuals and groups. Professor Behind Journal Paper Hoax Fears He Could Lose His Job

A professor who fooled prestigious journals into running absurd hoax papers, as a test of their bias, says he may now lose his job because of his actions.

Peter Boghossian was one of three people who collaborated last year to test the standards of various university disciplines, submitting papers loaded with left-wing buzzwords to journals in fields like feminism, race studies, queer studies, and cultural studies.

Many prestigious journals fell for their absurd hoax papers. A leading feminist journal published a section of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf that had simply been re-written with fashionable buzzwords. Another journal published a paper about “rape culture and queer performativity” in dog parks. . .

The three hoaxers all say that they are liberals, but they feared some university disciplines had gone off the deep end and now value politics over truth.

Coming to a City Near You: Health Care for All (Including Illegal Aliens)

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has decided to lead the progressive charge on the health care front. On Tuesday, de Blasio announced the city would pay for anyone, including illegal aliens, to receive health care, something they’ve dubbed NYC Care.

The city plans to spend at least $100 million per year on the 600,000 or so who don’t qualify for insurance or are in the country illegally can receive medical treatment, the New York Times reported. . .

The mayor’s office was quick to say that its plan, to be called NYC Care, would not be a substitute for any universal health care at the state level or a national single-payer plan. But, aides said, it was something the city could do immediately and on its own, and not require approval from the State Legislature, which is weighing some form of universal health insurance for New York State.

Indeed, NYC Care would be a mix of insurance and direct spending, and Mr. de Blasio said it would take about two years to get up and running. The city already has a kind of public option for health insurance for low-income New Yorkers, through an insurance plan run by city hospitals and known as MetroPlus.

The NYC Care plan would improve that coverage, which already insures some 516,000 people, and aim to reach more of those who are eligible, such as the young and uninsured, and others who qualify but have not applied.

WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Just Put Jim Acosta in His Place…and It’s Awesome

CNN’s Jim Acosta has become a household name, especially over the last few months when he made a mockery out of the press and eventually had his hard press pass suspended. The White House eventually reinstated his press pass but there’s still some animosity between Acosta and the Trump administration, which came to a head on Tuesday during a press briefing with Kellyanne Conway.

Acosta decided to ask a rather stupid question: “Kellyanne, can you promise that the president will tell the truth tonight?”

“Yes, Jim. Can you promise that you will?” she asked. . .

“Make sure that goes viral. By the way, this is why I’m one of the only people around here who even gives you the time of day. And let me get back in your face, since you’re such a smartass most of the time,” she explained. “And I know you want this to go viral but a lot of these people [White House press corps] don’t like you.” . . .

“Don’t you put it back in my face for all corrections your network needs to issue,” she said. “I was on your network 25 or 26 times in 2018. Planned Parenthood President Acknowledges the Truth: Abortion Is Indeed Their Core Mission

On Tuesday, Planned Parenthood President Dr. Leana Wen finally admitted what Planned Parenthood has seemingly tried for years to deny: the main mission of the organization is to perform abortions.

Wen issued a series of tweets in response to a Buzzfeed article about her that ran on Monday titled, “Planned Parenthood’s New President Wants To Focus On Nonabortion Health Care.” Not wanting women who champion abortion to believe that somehow she didn’t regard their wishes as primary for her organization, Wen tweeted, “I am always happy to do interviews, but these headlines completely misconstrue my vision for Planned Parenthood,” followed by tweeting, “First, our core mission is providing, protecting and expanding access to abortion and reproductive health care. We will never back down from that fight – it’s a fundamental human right and women’s lives are at stake.”

Under prior Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, who served as the group’s president for 12 years, the group consistently tried to portray itself primarily as a health care provider, ignoring the massive abortion machine it truly is. The organization’s website totally ignores the term “abortion” in its section titled, “Who We Are,” writing, “Today, Planned Parenthood is a trusted health care provider, an informed educator, a passionate advocate, and a global partner helping similar organizations around the world. Planned Parenthood delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide.” In fact, the website’s home page never mentions the word abortion, only referring to “reproductive health care.” (Read more from “Planned Parenthood President Acknowledges the Truth: Abortion Is Indeed Their Core Mission” HERE)
