Smollett Is Heir Apparent to Tawana Brawley

Actor Jussie Smollett is out on bail now after Chicago police arrested him for filing a false report that white attackers in Trump campaign hats thrashed him, shouted racist and homophobic slurs, looped a rope around his neck, poured gasoline on him and screamed “this is M.A.G.A. country.”

Fortunately, an abundance of surveillance cameras disproved Smollett’s hoax. He paid two young (Black) friends to stage the fake attack.

Smollett is the latest hustler to attempt to cash in on Liberals’ eagerness to lynch toxic (conservative) males. He may spend some time in jail because he was clumsy, and failed to study the lessons of Clarence Thomas, Roy Moore and Brett Kavanaugh before launching his own false accusations.

If he had played it smarter, he’d be a martyr now, on the college lecture circuit, invited to deliver witty comments on MSNBC and CNN news panels. But he was dumb.

Smollett’s factual claims were unambiguous. They were subject to evidence, of which there was plenty. No memories faded in three weeks. He was guided by no crafty lawyers.

Recorded video from approximately 55 public and private surveillance cameras, including residential doorbell cameras, presented an obstacle for Smollett’s scheme that Anita Hill, Leigh Corfman and Christine Blasey Ford never had to overcome.

False racially-charged accusations have a long history in our country. The age of powerful reaction against racial outrages dawned, perhaps, with the brutal 1955 lynching of 14-year-old Emmet Till in Mississippi, based on a white woman’s false accusation that the boy had grabbed her waist and muttered obscenities.

Emmet’s mom brought his body home to Chicago, insisted on an open-casket funeral and forbade the mortician to clean up the boy’s bloated and mutilated corpse. Tens of thousands came to view the body, and it was photographed and published in the Black press nationwide. It galvanized Black racial solidarity and confronted white people of conscience.

The power of outrage to mobilize support was impossible to ignore, and the Civil Rights movement continued to draw strength from outrages at Little Rock, the University of Mississippi, Edmund Pettus Bridge and Birmingham. Unfortunately, outrage is agnostic. It can serve injustice as well as justice.

In my day, there was the hoax in which Tawana Brawley, a 15-year-old girl managed by Al Sharpton, accused white police officers and a white prosecutor of kidnapping and sexually degrading her over a period of several days.

Bill Cosby offered a $25 thousand reward for information leading to a conviction. Boxing promoter Don King offered $100 thousand to pay for Brawley’s education. Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan led a march of 1,000 people through the streets of a neighboring town. A gulf of 34 percent opened between Blacks and whites, as 85 percent of whites but only 51 percent of Blacks said Brawley was lying.

Brawley’s grandmother took refuge in churches to avoid police who wanted to question her concerning a timeline of the girl’s whereabouts. Police were so concerned about the possibility of race riots that they decided not to enter the churches. The alleged victim Tawana defied a subpoena to testify before an investigating grand jury.

That grand jury heard 180 witnesses, including high school classmates who said young Tawana came to late-night parties during the period when she was supposedly held captive. One witness saw her climb into the dumpster where she was discovered nude, wrapped in trash bags and smeared with feces.

The rape kit showed no evidence of sexual assault. Vulgar and racially inflammatory words were written on her body in charcoal, but upside down, suggesting that she wrote them herself.

The grand jury exonerated the accused men in a 170-page report based on 250 exhibits and more than 6,000 pages of testimony. One of her boyfriends told Newsday a year later that Tawana confided that she and her mother conceived the lie to avoid punishment by her step-father for staying out all night.

Yet director Spike Lee flashed “Tawana told the truth” graffiti in his film Do the Right Thing. He gave Sharpton and Brawley cameos in Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power” music video, which he directed and produced.

When one of the falsely accused men won defamation suits against Sharpton and Brawley in civil court, O.J. Simpson attorney Johnny Cochran paid Sharpton’s judgment. Brawley changed her name to Maryam Muhammad and fled the state without paying any of her judgment for 26 years. Attorneys finally tracked her down in 2013 and got a court order garnishing money from her paychecks as a nurse.

A Columbia Law School professor, under the pall of “critical race theory,” said it doesn’t matter whether Tawana was lying or not. Professor Patricia Williams wrote that young Brawley was “the victim of some unspeakable crime. No matter how she got there. No matter who did it to her – and even if she did it to herself.”

This is invincible ignorance. Even after an accusation is refuted in detail, victimhood prevails. It is absolute impunity for false witness. Thus Anita Hill and Angela Davis are honored for “speaking truth to power.” Frothing young feminists man the barricades shouting that “we believe Christine” when Dr. Ford hasn’t even testified yet, much less been cross-examined.

Film star Terrence Howard doubled down on his young co-star’s veracity despite the testimony of the surveillance cameras, and said nobody can judge Smollett but God. But didn’t he judge fictional white Trump supporters in M.A.G.A. hats? Is Smollett alone immune to human judgment for violating norms of decency and law?

Well, apparently yes. When Smollett’s allegations first hit the news, presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Cory Booker both rushed to denounce it as a “modern day lynching.” Booker denounced Republican legislators for a “lack of urgency” regarding lynching. After the lies were revealed as a criminal hoax, neither Democrat apologized.

Booker, for one, said he is reserving judgment until the final report of the investigation is complete. Now that Booker’s anointed victim is under accusation, the senator has rediscovered a devotion to due process and the presumption of innocence. Long time no see!

Fasten your seatbelts, America. If hard-Left rhetorical arsonists have their way, we are entering a truth-free zone.

Soros Money Used to Promote Movement Against Israel

Money tied to George Soros, a liberal billionaire who uses his wealth to support a number of Democratic and progressive causes, funded the creation of a database that singles out business investment in Israel.

The EIRIS Foundation, a charity organization that focuses on investment research, received donations totaling nearly $300,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations to build a “Business in Occupied Lands” database, according to financial reports from the U.K. Charity Commission between 2015 to 2017.

The database is advertised as a way to help companies practice better corporate social responsibility, i.e., ethical business investing. However, the information from the database only focuses on two areas: Crimea and Israel, which the EIRIS Foundation simply refers to as “Palestine.” Despite claiming the Business in Occupied Lands project to be an “objective” collection of information on corporate operations in Israel, the EIRIS Foundation frames the region as “illegally administered.”

While a growing number of companies across the world are implementing corporate social responsibility into their business practices in an effort to promote justice, experts point out that more partisan-driven actors have weaponized corporate social responsibility to reach political goals. Namely, it has been used to boost the BDS movement, a global campaign that seeks the “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” of Israel and Israeli-linked businesses.

“In addition to being promoted by groups affiliated with the BDS movement, elements of the Foreign Boycott Campaign have recently been adopted by [corporate social responsibility] advisors and companies that employ CSR programs. As a result, the Foreign Boycott Campaign represents the intersection of several strains of discrimination with CSR,” Marc Greedorfer writes in an upcoming law review article. This Is How Rand Paul Will Vote Regarding National Emergency

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said he will vote against a resolution in an attempt to terminate President Donald Trump’s national emergency for border wall funding.

Paul will join a group of three Republicans who have expressed their concerns with Trump’s declaration for a national emergency, saying they do not believe the president should be allowed to override Congress to such a degree.

“I can’t vote to give extraconstitutional powers to the President,” Paul said, to the Bowling Green Daily News Saturday. “I can’t vote to give the President the power to spend money that hasn’t been appropriated by Congress,” he continued. “We may want more money for border security, but Congress didn’t authorize it. If we take away those checks and balances, it’s a dangerous thing.” He was speaking to the Warren County Republican Party. . .

“As a U.S. senator, I cannot justify providing the executive with more ways to bypass Congress,” Tillis wrote in an op-ed for The Washington Post. “As a conservative, I cannot endorse a precedent that I know future left-wing presidents will exploit to advance radical policies that will erode economic and individual freedoms.” . . .

Democratic Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro introduced the resolution, which he said will pass the House, as 222 cosponsors have jumped on board. Castro sent out a tweet saying his resolution would terminate Trump’s national emergency. Democrats only need 218 supporters to pass the resolution. CNN Analyst Compares Trump’s Call to Reclaim American Heritage to Hitler. But Look Who Said It First.

President Donald Trump, during a two-hour speech at CPAC Saturday, called for Americans to reclaim their national heritage.

“The men and women here today are on the front lines of protecting America’s interests, defending America’s value, and reclaiming our nation’s priceless heritage,” Trump said. “Right now we have people in Congress that hate our country, and you know that and we can name every one of them if they want. They hate our country.”

After the speech CNN analyst Samantha Vinograd took exception with Trump’s call to action.

Vinograd, who also works as a senior adviser at the University of Delaware’s Biden Institute and formerly served in the Obama administration on the National Security Council, compared Trump’s words to the ideals of Adolf Hitler. . .

During a speech at the 2011 Florida Democratic Party Convention, [Joe] Biden declared: “It’s time to fight back! It’s time to reclaim our heritage! It’s time — and we are ready!”

After Jewish Dem Calls Her out, Omar Doubles Down on Anti-Semitic Accusation

Just two days after a top House Democrat condemned Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) for her troubling history of anti-Semitism, the freshman lawmaker ignited controversy once again on Sunday when she appeared to accuse a Jewish congresswoman of wanting her to pledge allegiance to Israel.

Omar’s comments seemed to double down on her belief that pro-Israel lawmakers hold dual loyalty. Such accusations are exhausted anti-Semitic charges. . .

On Sunday, Rep. Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.), who is Jewish, called for Omar to “engage in further dialogue with the Jewish community” to understand why “anti-Semitic tropes that accuse Jews of dual loyalty” are offensive and considered racist. . .

She essentially doubled down on her charge that pro-Israel lawmakers have dual loyalty, adding that she believes she is being pressured to support Israel.

Transgender Decides She Is Now an Alien

[Jareth] Nebula spent the first 29 years of [her] life as a woman before transitioning into a male. . .

Nebula has had [her] nipples removed in order to be more authentic, and regularly shaves [her] eyebrows.

“After coming out as transgender and believing I had finally found myself, I realized I was wrong. I wasn’t male or female, or even human,” Nebula told The Sun. “I don’t think or feel like humans. I can’t really explain it to others. I’m simply otherworldly.”

Nebula, who was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a rare condition affecting connective tissues in the body, said that [she] felt different from other people even as a child. [She] later said that [she] discovered [she] was agender, having no gender in particular.

“I’d always been obsessed with aliens, too, and what it means to be extraterrestrial, so the idea of being an agender alien fit perfectly as an identity for me,” [she] added.

Dems Continue Their Assault on the Trump Administration by Launching Another Probe

Democrats are desperate to take down President Donald Trump. The Russia probe has proven to be ineffective and, quite frankly, a waste of time and taxpayer money. They didn’t find what they wanted so now they’re launching another probe.

During an interview with ABC’s “This Week,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said the Committee plans to request documents from more than 60 people at the White House and Trump Organization. The reason? They want to “protect the rule of law,” USA Today reported. . .

“The White House seems to have used its power for personal enrichment in violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution,” Nadler said. “We don’t have the facts yet, but we’re going to initiate proper investigations. Before you impeach somebody, you have to persuade the American public that it ought to happen.”

The Committee is especially interested in hearing from Donald Trump Jr. and Adam Weisselberg, the chief financial officer for the Trump Organization, and plans to release the full list of names on Monday.

Trump took to Twitter to remind the public that the probe is nothing more than a “witch hunt.”

WATCH: Professor Shuts Down These Pro-Abortion Arguments

On Thursday, February 21, the University of North Carolina-Wilmington hosted a debate on abortion which featured “Christian abortion doctor” Willie Parker and UNCW criminology professor Mike Adams, PhD. . .

Adams asked the crowd to join him in a thought experiment regarding the ridiculousness of the notion of fetal “viability” as an argument for abortion:

Imagine that a woman is pregnant in New York City and she has a viable fetus. She is 22 weeks pregnant. If she gets on a plane and she flies to Bangladesh – guess what? That human fetus is no longer viable because viability in Bangladesh doesn’t occur until about 35 weeks. So let’s just assume she’s hanging out in Bangladesh, she doesn’t like it very much, so she decides that she’s going to come back to New York City. Are we actually going to suggest that she had a person there in her uterus in New York City, a non-person in Bangladesh, who, when returning the United States of America, became a person for the second time? It is absolutely absurd…

Adams provides an example of a time when something that was clearly immoral was legal in the United States in order to show that legality does not equal morality:

Let me remind you this evening, it is not about whether or not abortion is legal, it is about whether or not abortion is moral – and there is a profound difference between that which is legal and that which is moral. If you want to come up with an example – for example, Doctor Parker says you cannot murder a fetus, you can only murder a person. That’s a legalistic argument. But if you want to come up with an example in this country of something that was legal but immoral, think about the 1927 case of Buck versus Bell in which the state of Virginia was forcing women to be sterilized simply because they were mentally deficient. And in affirming that law in the state of Virginia, Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said this, “Three generations of imbeciles are enough.” I want you to think about that for just a second – and that came back to bite us as that phrase was used against us in the Nuremberg trials a few years later. There is a distinction between the legal and the moral.

‘POMPOUS LITTLE TWIT’: Greenpeace Co-Founder Unloads on Ocasio-Cortez

Patrick Moore, the co-founder of Greenpeace, slammed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Saturday for being a hypocrite over living a lifestyle that does not align with her extremist views on climate change.

Moore, who has a Ph.D. in ecology, called out Ocasio-Cortez after she mocked a New York Post article that highlighted her numerous flights and car travel — which are things she attacked in her Green New Deal.

“I also fly & use A/C Living in the world as it is isn’t an argument against working towards a better future,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “The Green New Deal is about putting a LOT of people to work in developing new technologies, building new infrastructure, and getting us to 100% renewable energy.”

Moore fired back: “The “world as it is” has the option of taking the subway rather than a taxi. option of Amtrak rather than plane, option of opening windows rather than A/C. You’re just a garden-variety hypocrite like the others. And you have ZERO expertise at any of the things you pretend to know.”

Trudeau in TROUBLE: Canadian Prime Minister Is Facing a Political Crisis

According to the BBC, Trudeau is facing claims that he exerted intense political pressure on Canada’s female, indigenous attorney general, Jody Wilson-Raybould, to “abandon prosecution” of Quebec-based engineering firm SNC-Lavalin, a “corrupt company” with alleged ties to Trudeau and some of his closet political pals. When Wilson-Raybould refused to call off an investigation (and subsequent prosecution) into SNC-Lavalin over fraud and corruption charges, the story goes, Trudeau fired her.

For some time, the story remained uncorroborated — a mere rumor that circulated around Canada’s government officials. But last week, Wilson-Raybould testified in front of Parliament, telling her story in “meticulous detail,” according to Canadian reporter Ezra Levant, parsing out “how Trudeau and his staff tried to get her to drop criminal charges against a corrupt company that he liked.”

“[Wilson-Raybould] refused to bend the law for Trudeau’s cronies. But they didn’t stop. Trudeau; his chief of staff; his principal secretary; even the finance minister. They met her ten times, phoned her ten more. trying to get the charges dropped. She wouldn’t. So Trudeau fired her as A-G,” Levant tweeted in a short “primer” for American audiences — an account substantiated by The Washington Post. Trudeau eventually appointed Wilson-Raybould to a lesser position, handling veteran’s affairs.

Because Wilson-Raybould was silenced by attorney-client privilege, only Trudeau was able to speak fully on the matter, according to Levant’s account, but after weeks of pressure, and several high-profile departures from Trudeau’s inner circle, Wilson-Raybould was invited to testify in front of Parliament, and Trudeau waived privilege.

The result was a bombshell testimony that appears to implicate Trudeau in a major political scandal. (Read more from “Trudeau in TROUBLE: Canadian Prime Minister Is Facing a Political Crisis” HERE)
