Oh, so That’s Why Ocasio-Cortez’s Attack on a CNN Reporter Totally Blew up in Her Face

By Townhall. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ate it last week. No, it wasn’t about the Green New Deal, which is a recipe for economic disaster; it was a poorly executed counterattack against…the media. Yep, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is running for the Democratic nomination in 2020, so your whole life goes under the microscope. Y’all know the drill. It so happens that she had quite the legal career as well, charging $675/hour and worked on over 50 legal cases. CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski simply tweeted about this dot on Warren’s resume, which AOC thought was an attack, pulled the trigger, but got face-full of buckshot instead. You see—the article was written by two female reporters from The Washington Post; Kaczynski didn’t even write it. AOC thought his comment about it on Twitter was sexist. Daily Wire has more:

Kaczynski did not write the article (which AOC apparently did not read), but two female reporters from The Washington Post did. And while the piece was rather pointless, it wasn’t an attack on Warren, though Ocasio-Cortez is usually the one vilifying folks for making big money.

“Sen. Elizabeth Warren worked on more than 50 legal matters during her career as a professor at Ivy League law schools, charging as much as $675 an hour to advise a variety of clients, from people with asbestos disease to a corporation facing possible liability over ruptured breast implants,” said The Washinton Post article shared by Kaczynski.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Accuses Former Trump Aide Hope Hicks of ‘Considering Participating in a Coverup Led by the President’

By Business Insider. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York was among several who criticized The New York Times on Sunday for writing that the former White House aide Hope Hicks was facing an “existential question” over whether to comply with a congressional subpoena.

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have demanded that Hicks produce documents by June 4 and testify before Congress on June 19 as part of the committee’s investigations into possible obstruction of justice and corruption in the Trump administration.

Ocasio-Cortez was critical of The Times’ framing of the story, which described Hicks’ “dilemma” as an “existential question,” rather than a straightforward matter of law and order.

“What gets me is news breaks that this woman is weighing committing a crime before Congress & it’s getting framed by the NYT as some Lifetime drama called ‘Hope’s Choice,'” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “This is a fmr admin official considering participating in a coverup led by the President. Treat her equally.” (Read more from “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Accuses Former Trump Aide Hope Hicks of ‘Considering Participating in a Coverup Led by the President'” HERE)
