U.S. School District Teaches PEDOPHILIA as a Sexual Orientation

A conservative group claimed that students in a California school district were being taught that pedophilia is a sexual orientation. . .

According to the Freedom Project, a “top official” for the Brea Olinda School District told parents that students were learning about pedophilia and pederasty from a historical perspective. . .

The information purportedly came to light during a March parent information meeting with the district. The district held the meeting to inform and review with parents the state’s Healthy Youth Act. The California Healthy Youth Act requires that students in grades seven through 12 receive “comprehensive” sexual health education, including education on HIV/AIDS. Lawmakers passed the act in 2015. . .

District Assistant Superintendent of Curricula Kerrie Torres explained that the district taught about pedophilia and pederasty when discussing “historical perspectives of how gender relations and different types of sexual orientations have existed in history” with regard to a portion on LGBTQ history. . .

[Left-wing, Establishment-supporting] Snopes reported that a district representative told them that pedophilia and pederasty was previously mentioned in a slideshow bullet point on the district curriculum, but noted that they pulled the verbiage from the slide because of its ambiguous nature. Corporate Media Push Trump-Jeffrey Epstein Conspiracy Theories Without Evidence

The establishment media is attempting to link President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein without any evidence connecting him to the underage sex trafficking case against the billionaire hedge fund manager.

Immediately following a Daily Beast report revealing Epstein’s Saturday day arrest, a handful of news figures and outlets posted social media posts and stories painting a picture that the wealthy investor’s arrest was bad news for President Trump — with one editor even going as far to suggest he could be directly implicated in the case. . .

O’Brien’s post appears to have been the basis of a Business Insider story titled “Jeffrey Epstein: Trump once praised billionaire charged with sex trafficking minors for liking women ‘on the younger side.’” The article includes a 2000 picture featuring President Trump, first lady Melania Trump, with Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. . .

Yahoo News published a similar article — “Sex-trafficking charges against Epstein could rock Trump’s cabinet” — rehashing the same Trump quote about Epstein while throwing together comments from far-left lawmakers such as Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA), who has previously been humiliated for pushing debunked conspiracy theories about the president. Despite the hyperbolic headline, author Christopher Wilson buries a claim contradicting his premise eight paragraphs in — a quote from a lawyer representing a trio of Epstein accusers who explained that President Trump actually assisted authorities in building a civil lawsuit against the highly-connected investor.

“The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who, in 2009 when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people, that I want to talk to them, is the only person who picked up the phone and said, let’s just talk,” Bradley Edwards told New York magazine. “I’ll give you as much time as you want. I’ll tell you what you need to know, and was very helpful, in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information. That checked out and that helped us and we didn’t have to take a deposition of him in 2009.” Edwards has also said President Trump barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago “because Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club,” court documents say. U.S. Marine Accused of Smuggling Illegal Aliens for $1,000

Federal prosecutors in California charged an active duty U.S. Marine for allegedly transporting illegal immigrants for financial gain. Smugglers allegedly offered the Marine a fee of $1,000 to transport the migrants.

On July 3, a San Diego Sector Border Patrol agent observed a black car picking up what they believed to be illegal aliens at a known pickup spot near Interstate 8 in southern California. The agent relayed the vehicle’s description to other agents patrolling in the area. Another agent observed the vehicle matching the description and pulled the driver over, according to a criminal complaint provided to Breitbart News by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Border Patrol agent told prosecutors the traffic stop occurred approximately seven miles north of the California-Mexico border and 20 miles east of the Tecate Port of Entry. During an immigration interview, the agent identified the driver as Byron Darnell Law II, a U.S. citizen. He also identified the front seat passenger as David Javier Salazar-Quintero, a U.S. citizen. In the back seat, the agent identified three passengers as citizens of Mexico who are illegally in the U.S. . .

Border Patrol agents said they advised Law of his Miranda Rights and he agreed to speak with them without an attorney. Law told the investigating agent that he is an active duty Marine assigned to Camp Pendleton. He told the agent that Salazar organized the alleged smuggling event, according to the criminal complaint. He reportedly told the agent that Salazar contacted him and asked him if he would be willing to make a trip to pick up the illegal immigrants for a fee of $1,000.

Law continued, explaining that on July 2, Salazar was in communication with a spotter who coordinated the meeting between Law and a Mexican national being smuggled, the complaint continues. In the first event, they picked up a single migrant and drove him to a McDonald’s parking lot in Del Mar, California, Law continued. U.S. Voters Support Criminally Prosecuting Illegal Aliens

A 2020 Democrat plan to decriminalize illegal border crossings at the United States-Mexico border has little support among the American electorate, a new poll finds.

The latest poll by The Hill/HarrisX finds that a plurality of American voters said they support criminally prosecuting illegal aliens who cross the nation’s borders illegally into the U.S.

More than 4-in-10 voters, or about 41 percent, said they supported criminal prosecutions for illegal aliens rather than charging them with civil penalties, as multiple 2020 Democrat presidential primary candidates have endorsed, including Bernie Sanders, Julian Castro, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Eric Swalwell. . .

Nearly 7-in-10 Republican voters, a plurality of 36 percent of swing voters, and even 24 percent of Democrat voters said they support criminally prosecuting illegal border crossers. A majority of 53 percent of rural voters said they too preferred criminal prosecutions for illegal aliens over less than 30 percent who said they supported changing the law to fine illegal aliens with civil penalties. . .

The Democrats’ plan to decriminalize illegal immigration would make it so that the millions of illegal aliens and border crossers who have inundated the nation’s borders over the past decade would be treated as civil violators, rather than being criminally prosecuted. Today, there are roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living throughout the U.S., about half of whom illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border. Bill Clinton Denies Knowing Anything About His Pedophile Friend Jeffery Epstein but Flight Logs Show Otherwise

Former President Bill Clinton, who is longtime friends with pedophile Jeffery Epstein, has released a statement about the billionaire’s arrest over the weekend and charges related to child sex abuse and trafficking.

“President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffery Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York. In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation,” Clinton’s spokesperson said. “Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secretary Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time, made one brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail. He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida.” . . .

AG Barr Says He Found a Way to Get Key Citizenship Question on Census

Cue the meltdown because [it] looks like one could hit liberal America very soon. We’ve been haggling over the citizenship question in the 2020 census. It’s been asked before in past surveys. As the Department of Justice was ordered to look into ways to include the key question, AG Barr recently announced that a path might have been found (via Post and Courier):

In a visit to South Carolina on Monday, U.S. Attorney General William Barr said the Trump administration will present a legal work-around that will allow a question on citizenship to be added to the 2020 Census.

Speaking to reporters after a scheduled stop at a federal prison, Barr said, “I think over the next day or two you’ll see what approach we’re taking and I think it does provide a pathway for getting the question on the census.”
He did not provide details in his brief remarks.

Barr also expressed little concern for the pending testimony of former special counsel Robert Mueller to federal lawmakers next week on his investigation into U.S. election interference by the Russian government.

Look Out, Democrats: Trump Surges to All-Time High in New Poll

President Trump’s job approval rating has jumped to 47 percent in a new poll from the Washington Post and ABC News, his highest-ever mark in the series. He is only three points underwater (47/50) among registered voters, according to the numbers. As usual, there are red flags for Team Trump peppered throughout the data — but some of the top lines suggest that if the US economy remains in strong shape one year from now, the incumbent will be formidable, in spite of his perennially mediocre-to-poor public approval levels. In this snapshot, Trump’s standing is essentially the same as Barack Obama’s at this point in the 2012 election cycle:

President Trump’s approval rating has hit the highest point in his presidency, according to a new poll by the Washington Post and ABC News. The poll, which was released on Sunday, found that 47 percent of registered voters approve of Trump’s work inside the White House – a five point jump since April. Fifty percent of registered voters, however, still disapprove of Trump’s job in office. In comparison, Barack Obama’s approval rating during the same time in his first term was 46 percent…Despite [more than] six out of 10 Americans saying that Trump has acted in ways that are unpresidential, one-fifth of those voters still approve of the job the president is doing.

In addition to the survey showing Trump’s overall approval rating on the rise, a majority of registered voters also give a thumbs-up on his handling of the economy. On that crucial front (in case to you missed it during the long holiday weekend), job growth beat expectations in June, relieving concerns about May’s underwhelming unemployment report. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi Throw down over Border Spending Bill

Over the weekend, the notoriously frosty relationship between Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and newcomer progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez turned heated after Pelosi lobbed a thinly-veiled insult at Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter politicking.

On Friday, Pelosi aired a series of grievances in The New York Times, hitting back at Ocasio-Cortez and fellow progressives, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) for failing to fall in line behind the Democratic caucus and approve a $4.5 billion emergency spending bill aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis at the southern border, even after the quartet complained loudly of the treatment asylum seekers were receiving.

“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi said. “But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”

Pelosi seemed particularly aggrieved by a statement, put out by the four women (among others) chastising Democrats for funding what they believe to be a murderous organization hellbent on destroying the lives of immigrants. . .

“As I say to these people, come to my basement. I have these signs about single-payer from 30 years ago. I understand what they’re saying. But we have a responsibility to get something done, which is different from advocacy. We have to have a solution, not just a Twitter fight,” she told the Times. “If the left doesn’t think I’m left enough, so be it.”

U.S. Women’s Soccer Player Drops American Flag on Ground to Mug for Cameras

The U.S. women’s soccer team won the World Cup on Sunday, but in the process continued its trend of creating controversy.

Minutes after the 2-0 game ended in Lyon, France, U.S. midfielder Allie Long was holding an American flag when forward Megan Rapinoe urged her to join in on a choreographed celebration for the cameras. . .

U.S. player Kelley O’Hara, who was forced to the sidelines after a hard collision left her with concussion-like symptoms, quickly jumped in to pick up the flag. . .

The U.S. team has been mired in controversy since the beginning of the World Cup. After scoring the second goal in the World Cup for a 2-1 win over England last Tuesday, player Alex Morgan celebrated by pretending to drink a cup of tea, hoisting a pinkie in the air. What ‘Plummet’? Border Numbers Still Well Above Level of ‘System-Wide Emergency’

Just how accustomed have we become to the new normal of open borders? In March, when 92,840 people were apprehended between ports of entry at the border, including 53,208 family unit members, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) referred to it as a “system-wide emergency.” Now, after preliminary data show the numbers are off the peak of May, back “down” to 95,500 total apprehensions and 57,300 family unit members, it is reported as a major breakthrough.

Has the Overton window shifted so far to the Left on this issue that the media will successfully acculturate us to tolerate this level of illegal immigration, especially the shutdown of our Border Patrol, caring for immigrants rather than protecting Americans, as the new normal?

While it is true that the numbers are down 28 percent from the unfathomable peak of the May numbers, when over 132,000 were apprehended between ports of entry, the June numbers still sit at roughly the April levels, which themselves reflected a high-water mark, with month-over-month increases for a year and a half.

At this point, it’s not yet clear whether May represented a new baseline or just an aberration with a number of huge groups coming in at once. Now, with the hotter weather, when numbers usually drop anyway, maintaining the level of illegal immigration from March/April still represents a 44 percent increase over the levels we were seeing in February, when the president declared a national emergency.

Thus, the June border numbers, without a further trajectory change, are more akin to a slight market correction the day after the stock market reaches its highest level, but still well into uncharted waters.

While it is true that some actions taken by the Mexican government might have dissuaded more migrants from crossing into Mexico since President Trump secured an agreement with President Lopez Obrador in early June, it is unlikely that the Mexican government has the desire or the ability to permanently bend the trajectory until we change the policies of executive and judicial amnesty from our side of the border. The bottom line is that the cartels make too much money off human smuggling and will not allow Mexico’s national guard to take a bite out of that revenue without a massive civil war.

Yesterday, the New York-based Spanish language publication “El Diario” posted a video of alleged members of Cártel del Noreste (CDN) attacking national guard soldiers in Tamaulipas, one of the key smuggling areas. This comes a week after a cartel in the southern border province of Tabasco set up a blockade of burning cars in a highway, according to Borderland Beat, with the following warning: “Welcome #GuardiaNacional(.) We know that you’re coming with everything but let’s see how many come out of here alive, align yourselves or we’ll do it for you.” Tabasco shares a border with Guatemala, where President Lopez Obrador promised to deploy national guardsmen to stop the Central American migration.

It’s clear that without the Trump administration designating the cartels as terrorists under our laws and using the military more aggressively on our side of the border to counter their smuggling activities, we will never return to even “Obama levels” of illegal immigration. It remains stupefying why this administration has not yet done that, why it has not fired acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan, and why it has not issued an 1182 shutoff at the border.

According to a new Harvard/Harris poll, 42 percent of voters rank immigration as the most important issue facing the country today, more than any other issue. More importantly, voters were asked directly whether they support the idea of turning back people with questionable asylum claims, and 62 percent said they should “immediately” be turned back. That includes 64 percent of independent voters, 62 percent of self-described moderates, and even 44 percent of people who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

The president has nothing to lose and everything to gain by finally shutting off all migration of those without proper documentation at our border and turning them back the same way we did with the Haitians in the early 1990s. Not only would it protect Americans from crime, drugs, gangs, diseases, and public charge, it would end all the backlash over the care for the illegal aliens themselves. There is no good way to manage catch-and-release even from a humanitarian perspective when the numbers are this high.

When the president announced his bid for the highest office in the land on June 16, 2015, he referred to America as a “dumping ground” for illegal aliens. At that time, there were roughly 38,000 apprehensions a month. In July 2014, amidst the original crisis of Central American migration, Trump tweeted, “The immigration crisis is a horrible mess made worse by an incompetent president who doesn’t have a clue. We need new leadership FAST!”

If things have gotten so bad that we now tout “only 95,000” apprehensions as success, then this entire endeavor has truly been a failure. We need real leadership, fast, and that begins with the president getting new legal advice in the White House. (For more from the author of “What ‘Plummet’?
