Family of Couple Who Died Protecting Their Infant Child in El Paso Gets Death Threats over Trump Photo

By The Blaze. Last week we learned of two of the many tragic deaths in the despicable and horrible massacre in El Paso, the passing of a husband and wife shot dead while shielding their two-month-old infant.

In the days that followed, The President and Melania Trump visited victims in both Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, where the two attacks occurred. In the hospital in Texas, Trump posed for photos with several people, including the family of that couple, and the infant whose life they protected. . .

Tito Anchondo, brother of Andre and brother-in-law of Jordan, pushed back against the criticism.

“He was just there as a human being, consoling us and giving us condolences,” Anchondo said. The President “wasn’t there to be pushing any kind of political agenda.” . . .

What hasn’t caught much press was the fact that the family of the deceased, — that is, the direct immediately family of two of the victims of the mass killing, who are now the guardians of that baby who lives because his parents died — that family is now receiving threats. Uncle of Orphaned Boy Defends Trump’s Appearance in Photo

By The Houston Chronicle. The uncle of a 2-month-old boy whose parents were killed in the El Paso mass shooting on Friday defended a photo that shows first lady Melania Trump holding the baby while President Donald Trump smiles and gives a thumbs-up gesture. . .

Tito Anchondo declined to describe the encounter with Trump in more detail, saying he had received death threats.

Former Miss Iraq: Ilhan Omar Trying to Push Sharia Law on U.S.

A former Miss Iraq who was forced to flee her native country after posting a selfie of herself and Miss Israel has lambasted Rep. Ilhan Omar for trying to push Sharia law on the U.S. and says that the congresswoman does not represent her as a Muslim.

“Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim — does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East,” Sarah Idan, who lives in the U.S., told “The Sara Carter Show.” . . .

“They are extremist Muslims, Sunni Muslims, who are now working together with Iran against all the Arab countries,” she said. “They’re working now with Hezbollah, with Turkey, with all that. You know, the thing is about this organization, they are extremist Muslims, they’re Jihadis, and they have this ideology that they want to control the world.” . . .

Her remarks came in the wake of a Twitter battle in which Idan accused Omar of trying to “export” the same ideology that she fled from in the Middle East. “First was the Middle East, then Europe & now the USA. I fled from the same ideology you’re trying to export here,” she said.

The former Miss Universe contestant, who grew up in Iraq under the regime of Saddam Hussein, fled the country after receiving threats that her Iraqi citizenship would be withdrawn because she posted a selfie with Miss Israel.

Killer Illegal Alien Claims ‘Constitutional Rights’ Violated

Illegal alien Cristhian Bahena Rivera claims in new court filings that his constitutional rights were violated by Iowa law enforcement officials after being interrogated for allegedly murdering 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts in Brooklyn, Iowa, last year.

In August 2018, Bahena Rivera, a 25-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was charged with Tibbetts’ murder after police said he admitted to confronting and chasing down the young woman.

After a nationwide search, Tibbetts’ body was found in a cornfield in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The illegal alien lived in a region of Iowa that was surrounded by sanctuary cities, as Breitbart News noted, and worked on a dairy farm using a stolen ID and Social Security card after allegedly crossing the U.S.-Mexico border as a child.

A 29-page motion obtained by the Des Moines Register and filed by Bahena Rivera’s defense attorneys, Chad and Jennifer Frese, claims that the illegal alien had his constitutional rights violated when local Iowa police took him in for questioning and did not make clear that he could have contacted the Mexican consulate before speaking to law enforcement.

“Providing this information to Bahena — a confused, exhausted and vulnerable Mexican national was seeking trustworthy help — would have triggered an invocation of consular notification and a decision to await the consulate’s assistance before making any other statements,” the defense attorneys wrote in the motion. Israel Navy Works with NATO in Major Exercise

A huge earthquake hits northern Israel, killing thousands and knocking out infrastructure — this doomsday scenario was the premise for a multi-national naval drill this week.

Sailors from France, Greece and the United States arrived on their vessels and were joined by the Israelis off the Israeli port city of Haifa for the four-day exercise, called Mighty Waves.

They simulated extracting wounded civilians to sea for treatment, fishing people out of the water and transferring humanitarian aid, with representatives of seven other navies taking part as observers. . .

Israel is always looking to boost its profile among Western allies as well as reinforce its image as the Middle East’s most powerful military, and the drill was a chance to do that, said Eran Lerman, former deputy to Israel’s national security adviser.

“The very fact that Israel is perceived by key global players as a state that can and should be cooperated with militarily conveys a message of deterrence to potential enemies, while strengthening the increasing ties with like-minded Arab states,” said Lerman, now vice president of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security. This Is Why We NEED to Look into Epstein’s (Alleged) Suicide

Former billionaire hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein is dead. It was ruled a suicide. The late financier has been under intense scrutiny for his alleged activities concerning underage girls. He got a sweetheart deal from the government some ten years ago that was quite weak concerning the allegations lobbed against him. The reason, at the time, was the government didn’t think it had the evidence to convict. That plea deal was the subject of a multi-story series from The Miami Herald, which brought Epstein back into the limelight and under a new investigation. It led to his arrest and formal indictment for sex crimes, including the trafficking girls as young as 14. A search of his Manhattan residence unearthed a trove of incriminating evidence. He had tried to kill himself about two weeks prior and was taken off suicide watch hours before he successfully killed himself. Epstein had ties to some very powerful people, including President Trump, the Clintons, and member of the British Royal Family. Yet, the evidence retrieved from his home included cataloged tapes that reportedly have very high-profile individual on them. Are they blackmail tapes?

Given Epstein, his profile, his connections, the timing of his death, the events that led to it, and those who might have been palled around with him, there’s a reason for an inquiry into how this happened. Attorney General William Barr said he was “appalled” by the news of Epstein’s death while in federal custody. He’s already ordered the FBI and the DOJ inspector general to look into this matter (via The Hill):

Attorney General William Barr on Saturday decried the death of wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein in federal custody while he awaited charges on sex trafficking, saying the apparent suicide “raises serious questions.”

“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered,” Barr said in a statement.

“In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death,” Barr added.

‘Watermelon Snow’ Found in National Park

As the so-called dog days of summer have finally arrived, the still-frozen slopes of Yosemite National Park are now sporting what some may know as “watermelon snow” — but don’t confuse it for the popular summertime treat.

Yosemite National Park in California shared photos last Sunday to Facebook of the sight at an unnamed lake in the high country above 9,500 feet. . .

Watermelon snow — also known as “blood snow” or simply red snow — is what happens when snow above 9,500 feet lasts through the summer months.

“This algae is typically green but contains a special red pigment called a carotenoid that acts as a protective barrier, shielding the algae’s chlorophyll,” park rangers stated on Facebook. “Since chlorophyll is necessary for its survival, it uses this natural type of sunscreen to protect itself from too much heat and damaging UV radiation.”

The pigment produced by the algae then dyes the surrounding area a darker color, giving the snowfield a pink or red color. It also can allow the snow to heat up faster and melt quickly, according to the park. (Read more from “‘Watermelon Snow’ Found in National Park” HERE)

Family Allegedly Asked to Leave Outback Steakhouse After Receiving Noise Complaint About Disabled Son

On Monday, a women named Amanda Jean Braun posted a lengthy Facebook post detailing a troubling incident that reportedly took place at her local Outback Steakhouse restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland. . .

Shortly after their meals arrived, writes Braun, a man who identified himself as the manager came to the table and stated that he had “received a noise complaint” about Braun’s 4-year-old son.

My son Killian was born with a neurological disorder that affects his speech called Childhood Apraxia of Speech. This disorder affects Killian in many ways especially communication and behavioral. He is a very energetic kid with much to say, however, when he speaks, his words are unclear.

Despite noting that he felt uneasy with his role in the situation, the manager reportedly asked the family to complete their dinner and leave the restaurant. He then offered them a $20 gift card “as an apology,” according to Braun, who added that she won’t return as she doesn’t want to “subject [her] son and the rest of [her] family to that type of discrimination.” . . .

Watch: Joe Biden Claims He Was Vice President in 2018

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said over the weekend that he was Vice President during the Parkland tragedy in 2018, which was over a year after he left the White House at the end of the Obama administration.

“I watched what happened when the kids from Parkland marched up to – and I met with them, and then they went off up on the hill when I was Vice President,” Biden claimed on Saturday.

CNN notes that Biden again repeated the false claim while talking to reporters, saying: “Those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.” . . .

Biden’s repeated mental errors have started to draw intense criticisms from many, including President Donald Trump, who tweeted: “Joe Biden just said, ‘We believe in facts, not truth.’ Does anybody really believe he is mentally fit to be president? We are ‘playing’ in a very big and complicated world. Joe doesn’t have a clue!”

Hollywood Pulls ‘the Hunt’ Movie in Light of Gun Violence Controversy

Anyone looking forward to seeing a bunch of MAGA “deplorables” fight back against blood-thirsty liberal elites will have to wait. After massive uproar on social media against “The Hunt,” Universal Pictures has decided to scrap the film’s release.

“Universal has decided to scrap the release of ‘The Hunt’ — an R-rated satire in which elites hunt ‘deplorables’ for sport — following a series of mass shootings across the country,” reports The Hollywood Reporter (THR).

The move comes after NBC Universal Pictures decided to pull several ads for “The Hunt” from TV following the horrific mass shootings last weekend in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Following that, the controversy over the movie then erupted into a maelstrom when it was revealed that the storyline will focus on elite coastal liberals rounding up Trump supporters to hunt them down like wild animals. Though the plot description sounded grotesque on paper, the trailer indicated something more nuanced by actually depicting the Trump supporters as heroes. Despite that, people argued the movie will simply cause more divisions and will do little for the sake of unity. President Trump even weighed in, arguing that the film would “inflame and cause chaos.”

“Liberal Hollywood is Racist at the highest level, and with great Anger and Hate!” President Trump tweeted. “They like to call themselves ‘Elite,’ but they are not Elite. In fact, it is often the people that they so strongly oppose that are actually the Elite. The movie coming out is made in order to inflame and cause chaos. They create their own violence and then try to blame others. They are the true Racists, and are very bad for our Country!” . . .

Law Enforcement Gives Contradictory Information After Epstein Found Dead

By Lucia Sang. Disgraced multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking minors, died from an apparent suicide inside in Manhattan jail cell and the FBI is investigating, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed Saturday.

The 66-year-old Epstein was found unresponsive inside his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City around 6:30 a.m. Life-saving measures were initiated immediately by responding staff. He was transported to the New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital and was dead on arrival, officials said.

Law enforcement sources told Fox News that the initial call to the jail was cardiac arrest. Multiple reports claimed that he hanged himself. . .

Between the floor and the ceiling is like eight or nine feet. There’s no way for you to connect to anything.

You have sheets, but they’re paper level, not strong enough. He was 200 pounds — it would never happen.

When you’re on suicide watch, they put you in this white smock, a straight jacket. They know a person cannot be injurious to themselves. . .

Could he have done it from the bed? No sir. There’s a steel frame, but you can’t move it. There’s no light fixture. There’s no bars.

Trump Re-Tweets Theory that Epstein was Murdered While Democratic Congressman Says “A Lot of Very Powerful People Wanted to See This Man Dead”

[Trump retweeted] a message from conservative actor and comedian Terrence K. Williams, who suggested Epstein’s death might be tied to former president Bill Clinton. Williams also questioned how Epstein could have died by suicide if he had been on suicide watch. . .

A Clinton spokesman responded on Twitter: “Ridiculous, and of course not true — and Donald Trump knows it. Has he triggered the 25th Amendment yet?” The 25th Amendment spells out a process for the president’s cabinet to remove him from office. . .

Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.), who has demanded congressional investigations into Epstein’s past crimes, questioned whether Epstein’s death really was a suicide Saturday, suggesting without evidence that there might be a link between his death and the powerful people he associated with.

“There are a lot of very powerful people who wanted to see this man dead. So was it really just a suicide?” Frankel told NPR. “Was it just negligence by the officials who had custody of him?
