Facebook Employee Jumps to His Death from Roof of Company’s Headquarters

A Facebook employee has died at the company’s headquarters campus in Silicon Valley in what police call an apparent suicide.

Horrified bystanders in Menlo Park, California called 911 at about 11.30am on Thursday after an adult male jumped from the top of a four-story building on the 100 block of Jefferson Drive.

Paramedics rushed to Facebook’s sprawling campus and rendered first aid, but the victim was declared dead on the scene.

The deceased individual has not been publicly identified pending family notification, but Facebook confirmed in a statement to DailyMail.com that he was an employee. . .

‘We’re cooperating with police in their investigation and providing support to employees. While the family is being notified, we have not information to share,’ the statement continued. (Read more from “Facebook Employee Jumps to His Death from Roof of Company’s Headquarters” HERE)

Iran’s Threat: There Will Be ‘All-Out War’ If U.S. Attacks

Iran’s bellicose foreign minister warned of “all-out war” if the U.S. or Saudi Arabia retaliate for the Iranian drone strike on Saudi oil fields. Javad Zarif also asked if the Saudis were willing to fight “to the last American soldier.” . . .

The warning came as Trump’s national security team is meeting to discuss whether military action should be taken against the terrorist state. The meeting takes place against the backdrop of further confirmation that the drone strike on the Saudi oil fields, that cut the Kingdom’s oil output in half, was approved at the highest level of the Iranian government. . .

Iran’s threats can be dismissed as pure bluster. But a Saudi-Iran open confrontation would be extremely dangerous for the entire region. Currently, the two enemies are engaged in a proxy war in Yemen with the Kingdom supporting the government while Iran is backing Houthi rebels. But the entire character of the conflict would change if the two sides went to war.

A Saudi war with Iran would mean the involvement of other Sunni Arab states in the Gulf arrayed against Iran and possibly Shiite Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon joining Tehran. Needless to say, the economic disruptions, not to mention the humanitarian crisis that would ensue, would affect every nation on earth.

The U.S. military has the capability to deliver targeted strikes, perhaps on Iran’s missile and drone facilities, while limiting the loss of life. That would be infinitely better than the Saudis, who are already engaged in Yemen, forcing Iran to respond to an attack by launching their own strike on Iranian oil facilities. Pro-Life Event Forced to Shut down After Bomb Threat, Police Make Arrest

One man has been arrested after a bomb threat at Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester, Minnesota. The threat was made on Wednesday evening at an event hosted by the pro-life organizations Students for Life of America and 40 Days of Life.

A theater in Rochester Community and Technical College was evacuated on Wednesday as emergency responders arrived at the scene to investigate a suspicious package that had been found the room during the event, according to a report by KIMT3 News.

The event taking place inside the theater was a pro-life presentation hosted by Students for Life of America and 40 Days of Life, featuring guest speaker Noah Maldonado, a Students for Life regional coordinator. According to the organization, a man who had been “suspiciously roaming around the event,” appeared to mix chemicals, and then “dropped a package and left.”

Olmsted County arrest records reveal that Samuel Vanderwiel, who was arrested as a result of the bomb threat, has been charged with one felony count of terroristic threats cause terror with reckless disregard, one count of 5th degree assault; one count of disorderly conduct; and one count of public nuisance annoy/injure/endanger safety; all misdemeanors.

Maldonado said that the man seemed “very agitated during the event and was reportedly mixing chemicals together in his backpack in the center of the room before leaving in a hurry. Many members of the audience were disturbed by the erratic behavior and reported the smell of ammonia.” (Read more from “Pro-Life Event Forced to Shut down After Bomb Threat, Police Make Arrest” HERE)

Federal Judge Hands President Trump a Big Victory Against California

A federal judge knocked down a new Californian law requiring presidential candidates to disclose their tax returns in order to appear on primary ballots, which was clearly targeting President Donald Trump.

U.S. District Judge Morrison England Jr. issued the temporary injunction on Thursday and said he would put out a final order soon, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The law was seen as a swipe against Trump, who has resisted releasing his tax returns. His critics have accused him of covering up damaging information, but he is not required by law to release them, only by convention. . .

Judge England said that the law would cause “irreparable harm without temporary relief” for candidates including Trump. . .

California’s liberal lawmakers have emerged as some of the more vehement opponents of the president. On Wednesday, Gov. Newsom angrily denounced the president over his decision to end their waivers on federal automobile emission standards. Ed Buck, Dem Megadonor, Hit with Federal Charges

By Fox News. Ed Buck, a Los Angeles political activist and longtime donor to many prominent Democrats, was hit with a federal charge Thursday in the 2017 drug overdose death of 26-year-old Gemmel Moore.

Buck, 65, was charged with distributing methamphetamine resulting in Moore’s death.

Buck was charged earlier this week with causing the overdose of another man who escaped from his West Hollywood home this month. A third man, Timothy Dean, died of an overdose there in January. (Read more from “Ed Buck, Dem Megadonor, Hit with Federal Charges” HERE)

Ed Buck Tried to Stop Overdose Victim from Leaving His Apartment: Prosecutors

By The New York Post. Democratic donor Ed Buck tried to stop a man he’d allegedly injected with methamphetamine from leaving his home to call 911 as he overdosed, prosecutors said.

The emergency call on Sept. 11 ultimately led to the arrest of the wealthy LGBT activist — who’s previously dodged criminal charges in the overdose deaths of two other men at his Los Angeles apartment.

The latest victim, identified in court papers as Joe Doe, said Buck “personally and deliberately” administered a large dose of methamphetamine on Sept. 4 at Buck’s West Hollywood apartment, prosecutors said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The man fled Buck’s home, fearing he was overdosing, to seek medical treatment. . .

Buck, who has donated to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, tried to stop the man from leaving. But he managed to escape anyway and called 911 from a gas station. (Read more from “Ed Buck Tried to Stop Overdose Victim from Leaving His Apartment: Prosecutors” HERE)

Here’s Why Adam Schiff Is Threatening to Sue the Trump Administration

By The Daily Caller. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff threatened Thursday to sue the Trump administration over an intelligence official’s whistleblower complaint, which the director of national intelligence has refused to provide to Congress.

“I would imagine if it comes down that we have to go to court to get this, that we will have a very good case to seek a temporary restraining order … or some form of relief because the inspector general has said this can not wait,” Schiff told reporters after members of the committee met privately with Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) Michael Atkinson.

“This is not a situation where we can afford to go through weeks or months of litigation in this court or that court. There’s an urgency here that I think the courts will recognize. I hope that’s not necessary,” Schiff said after the three-hour meeting.

The details of the complaint remain a mystery. Schiff said that Atkinson said he was unable to provide additional information about the complaint. Atkinson also declined to confirm a Washington Post report that the complaint, filed on Aug. 12, involves a phone call that President Donald Trump had with a foreign leader. Whistleblower Complaint, Reportedly on Trump ‘Promise’ to Foreign Leader, Touches off DC Firestorm

By Fox News. A whistleblower complaint that reportedly involved allegations President Trump made a troubling and unspecified “promise” to a foreign leader touched off a new Washington firestorm on Thursday, as the intelligence community’s top watchdog was questioned by Congress on the matter and the president adamantly denied the accusations.

The details surfaced overnight in a Washington Post report, but many specifics remain unclear including the identity of the foreign leader.

Fox News has not confirmed the report, and White House officials have not offered additional comment on the claims.

But Trump railed against the Post’s reporting in a flurry of tweets that alleged his communications with foreign leaders were being blown out of proportion.

“Another Fake News story out there – It never ends! Virtually anytime I speak on the phone to a foreign leader, I understand that there may be many people listening from various U.S. agencies, not to mention those from the other country itself. No problem!” Trump said. “Knowing all of this, is anybody dumb enough to believe that I would say something inappropriate with a foreign leader while on such a potentially ‘heavily populated’ call. I would only do what is right anyway, and only do good for the USA!” (Read more from “Whistleblower Complaint, Reportedly on Trump ‘Promise’ to Foreign Leader, Touches off DC Firestorm” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren Hires Lobbyist One Day After Releasing Plan Calling Lobbying ‘Legalized Bribery’

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren hired a Planned Parenthood lobbyist to a key role in her presidential campaign Tuesday, just one day after Warren announced a plan that would “end lobbying as we know it.”

Warren unveiled an anti-corruption plan Monday that would introduce a “cooling off” period for lobbyists before they can serve in government roles and would prohibit active lobbyists from donating to political campaigns, a practice Warren called “legalized bribery.”

“The fundamental promise of our democracy is that every voice matters,” Warren’s plan states. “But when lobbyists and big corporations can buy influence from politicians, that promise is broken. The first thing to do to fix it is to end lobbying as we know it.”

The next day, Kimberly Diaz Scott, who registered as a lobbyist for the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates as recently as January 2019, announced that she was leaving the organization to head up Warren’s campaign in Florida.

“I won’t be far from the movement, as I’m humbled and proud to announce my transition as the Florida State Director for Warren for President, assuring that we will continue to fight like hell to elect a brilliant leader who will work to protect the health, safety and future of ALL people,” Diaz wrote, the Miami Herald reported. “2020 is not for the rich or selfish, 2020 is for us.” (Read more from “Elizabeth Warren Hires Lobbyist One Day After Releasing Plan Calling Lobbying ‘Legalized Bribery’” HERE)

Hezbollah Operative Scoped out Times Square, Statue of Liberty for Possible Terrorist Attacks, Prosecutors Say

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Thursday that they have charged a New Jersey man over his support of Hezbollah, a militant Islamist group.

The DOJ announced a nine-count indictment against 42-year-old Alex Saab, alleging that Saab had scoped out iconic New York City landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, for a terrorist attack.

“Saab served as an operative of Hizballah and conducted surveillance of possible target locations in order to help the foreign terrorist organization prepare for potential future attacks against the United States,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers said in a statement. “Such covert activities conducted on U.S. soil are a clear threat to our national security and I applaud the agents, analysts, and prosecutors who are responsible for this investigation and prosecution.”

Saab is a naturalized citizen, but U.S. attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said that his “true allegiance was to Hizballah, the terrorist organization responsible for decades of terrorist attacks that have killed hundreds, including U.S. citizens and military personnel.” (Read more from “Hezbollah Operative Scoped out Times Square, Statue of Liberty for Possible Terrorist Attacks, Prosecutors Say” HERE)

Women’s March Forced to Remove New Leader After Extreme Comments Surface

Just days after appointing her, the Women’s March, which has come under fire for the anti-Semitism of its past leaders, was forced to remove its newest board member, Zahra Billoo, for extreme statements she made on social media. Billoo responded by posting a lengthy thread on Twitter denouncing the group and blaming her removal on an “Islamophobic smear campaign.”

The ouster of Billoo came in response to a series of past statements the activist and former executive director at the controversy-riddled Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) made on social media about Israel.

As reported by The Daily Caller, in 2017 posts on Facebook and Twitter, Billoo defended her decision to boycott “Wonder Woman” because it stars Gal Gadot, who once served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). “I similarly would not watch a movie where the lead actor or actress were proud of their participation in the US military, ISIS, or Al Qaeda,” Billoo explained. “Don’t guess, I’ll just tell you, I believe all of them are comparably evil.” She went on to call Gadot a “murderer” and to condemn “Apartheid Israel.”

In February 2018, Billoo posted on Facebook an account of her encounter with a Marine recruiter in which she compared American military to ISIS and Nazis. “He explained the promise of the educational benefits lured him in. He was otherwise not going to be able to go to school,” she wrote. “I shared that financial benefits are often a recruiting tactic for groups like ISIS also. That was tricky for me. Gently comparing his experience to that of ISIS fighters. I refrained from comparing him to a Nazi cook, who though a cook, was still part of the Nazi operation. It took a lot to not say it.”

She also said in May 2018 that she doesn’t see “any difference between American youth leaving the country to join ISIS or the IDF,” declaring, “Both are murderous, war crime committing, terrorist entities.” (See the posts here.)

WATCH: Extremists Attack Pro-Life Activists, Brag Cops Won’t Help Them

In videos first posted by LifeNews, female pro-life sidewalk counselors and activists are seen harassed and forcibly pushed around by pro-abortion activists outside an abortion clinic in Bristol, Tennessee.

Holding a sign with an image of an aborted baby, a pro-life woman is confronted by a pro-abortion activist who repeatedly pushes against the woman’s sign and brags that the cops will not help her. Another activist ridiculed a pro-life woman who was offering to adopt children who are spared by abortion; the pro-abort called the pro-lifer a “childless b****” and told her that she’ll “never” have a baby in her empty womb.

“Stop pushing on my sign,” the pro-lifer tells the abortion activist in a video provided to LifeNews by A Cause for Christ president Sammi Cooper. The incident took place in August.

The pro-abort taunts the woman for being powerless against the harassment and intimidation, daring her to call the cops. “You know what they’ll do? Nothing,” she boasts.

The harassment of pro-life activists outside the abortion facility, according to provided video footage, appears to be persistent since at least August. A Cause for Christ activist Erika Schanzenbach told LifeNews the organization has witnessed “increasingly nasty behavior from the pro-abortion protesters in the past few months.”
