CE0 of Major Company Handwrites Over 9,000 Holiday Cards a Year for His Employees

According to Business Insider, CEO Sheldon Yellen personally hand writes over 9,000 cards a year for his employees — and according to him, all the hard work really pays off in the end.

Yellen is the CEO of Belfor Holdings, a large company that aids in disaster relief efforts and in property restoration. They operate domestically as well as in many foreign countries.

According to Business Insider, Yellen has handwritten a holiday and birthday card to each and every single one of Belfor’s employees since 1985 — before he even became CEO. Today, he is estimated to write over 9,200 of these cards a year.

And it isn’t just birthday and Christmas that provoke handwritten notes from Yellen — he is also scrupulous about anniversary cards, thank you cards, notes to employees who are sick, and many more. The project has become incredibly time consuming for Yellen, who brings large stacks of stationery and writing utensils everywhere he goes, including on planes.

In fact, the work has become so time consuming that Yellen told Business Insider that when his company acquires new business and new companies, he worries less about the company’s financial figures than he does how many new Christmas cards he has to write. Establishment-Controlled ‘Conservative’ Publications Call for Trump’s Removal From Office

President Trump on Friday excoriated evangelical magazine Christianity Today after it published an editorial backing his impeachment and removal.

Christianity Today was founded by reknowned preacher Billy Graham in 1956, however in recent years it has not been closely associated with the Graham family. The editorial was written by magazine editor-in-chief Mark Galli, who retires on January 3, 2020. Galli called the President’s actions with regard to Ukraine “a violation of the Constitution” and “immoral” . . .

Trump slammed the editorial in a tweet on Friday morning.

“A far left magazine, or very ‘progressive,’ as some would call it, which has been doing poorly and hasn’t been involved with the Billy Graham family for many years, Christianity Today, knows nothing about reading a perfect transcript of a routine phone call and would rather have a Radical Left nonbeliever, who wants to take your religion & your guns, than Donald Trump as your President,” Trump wrote. The Inquisitr reported that:

A senior editor of the National Review wrote a damning opinion piece for the news site on Friday calling for Donald Trump to be removed from office, making it the second major conservative outlet to do so… The National Review is a major conservative publication that has led the field since it was established over six decades ago. On Friday, senior editor Ramesh Ponnuru wrote a piece called “Four Tests for Impeachment,” arguing that Trump had met or exceeded each one and deserved to be removed from office.

SHOCK: Inspector General Report Reveals FBI Had Informants Inside the Trump Campaign

By Daily Wire. A recently released Department of Justice Inspector General report, examining the role of the FBI in efforts to wiretap and investigate the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and Trump 2016 transition team, and whether the FBI acted improperly when petitioning the FISA courts to spy on the effort without a warrant, revealed that the FBI had informants within the Trump campaign itself.

The Washington Times reports that the FBI informants, who tried to get close to Trump campaign aides Carter Page and George Papadopolous, came up empty despite repeated attempts to bait both Page and Papadopolous into connecting with Russian operatives who, the informants told the pair, could provide “incriminating” Hillary Clinton emails.

“The report discloses that the FBI dispatched against Trump allies multiple unnamed FBI informants known as confidential human sources (CHS). The most publicized was Stefan Halper, a longtime Washington national security figure and Cambridge University professor,” the outlet reported. “He ingratiated himself to George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, while also attempting to engage with a senior Trump campaign official in New York.”

The Inspector General reports that the FBI informants recorded entire conversations with both Papadopolous and Page, but that the content of these recordings could be considered evidence that neither aide engaged with Russian operatives: “Mr. Halper recorded conversations that could be seen as exculpatory.”

The Inspector General also “rapped” the FBI, the Times reports, for failing to include the recorded conversations in petitions sent to the FISA courts requesting the warrantless wiretaps. Such an error makes the petitions incomplete, he said, and biased the court towards granting the FBI permission to spy on Trump operatives. Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020

By Breitbart. Former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump Sebastian Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that because the Democrats now “have a platform of extremism,” they know they are unable to win in a fair election, which is why they’ve turned to impeaching the president.

Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that the crime President Trump has committed was defeating Hillary Clinton, “and they’re never going to forgive him for that, so they’re trying to nullify the will of 63 million Americans in 2016.”

Breitbart News caught up with the former White House aide on Thursday, after he addressed thousands of young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“Let’s not forget,” said Gorka, “nineteen minutes after I became deputy assistant to the president — after my boss put up his hand and was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States — the Washington Post wrote an article saying the impeachment of Donald Trump starts now. They’ve been working on this, my friend, for more than three years.”

“Truth be told, this is an infamous day, this is a very sad day,” added Gorka of impeachment, “because the damage the Democrats have wrought to the second-greatest power congress has — after declaring war in another country, which is the removal of an incumbent president — that damage may take generations, if not longer, to heal.” (Read more from “Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020” HERE)

Special Forces Soldier Killed in Afghanistan Two Days Before Christmas

An Army Special Forces soldier from New Jersey was killed in combat operations in Afghanistan, the Defense Department said Monday.

Sgt. 1st Class Michael J. Goble, 33, of Washington Township, died Monday from injuries he sustained while his unit was in combat operations the day before in Kunduz Province, the military said in a statement.

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The Defense Department statement does not elaborate on the circumstances of the incident. . .

The Taliban claimed it was behind a fatal roadside bombing in northern Kunduz province, The Associated Press reported.

Talks between the U.S. and the Taliban resumed this month. On Dec. 12, the U.S. special envoy to Afghanistan tweeted that “we’re taking a brief pause” following a Taliban attack near Bagram Airfield. The envoy, Zalmay Khalilzad, said he expressed outrage to the Taliban about the attack. (Read more from “Special Forces Soldier Killed in Afghanistan Two Days Before Christmas” HERE)

Report: Now Jeffrey Epstein’s Brother Fears for His Life; Christmas Display: ‘These Lights Didn’t Hang Themselves… Neither Did Epstein’

By New York Post. Jeffrey Epstein’s brother fears that his “life may also be in danger” if the convicted pedophile was the victim of homicide, according to a private pathologist hired to look into the mysterious death.

Dr. Michael Baden said that the disgraced financier’s younger brother, Mark Epstein, has concerns about his own safety after his brother’s hanging death.

“Mark, the brother, his concern is that he wants to know if it’s suicide, or if it’s homicide. Because, if it’s homicide, then his life may also be in danger,” Baden told radio host John Catsimatidis Sunday on AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable.” . . .

The private pathologist said that Mark believes that it’s possible that others wanted his brother dead because he “knew too much.”

“Because his brother knew too much, and, whoever [killed Jeffrey], might then think [Mark] knows too much, even though his life was entirely different than his brother’s,” Baden told the radio host. “The brother who hired me to be present at the autopsy is concerned as to whether or not his life is in danger from this.” (Read more from “Report: Jeffrey Epstein’s Brother Fears for His Life” HERE)

Christmas Display: ‘These Lights Didn’t Hang Themselves… Neither Did Epstein’

By Fox News. . .Most people use their Christmas decorations to wish their neighbors a happy holiday or send well wishes. One N.J. man, however, decided to say something different with his lights.

Kevin Gibson Jr shared photos of his Christmas lights on Facebook with the caption, “My lights were boring me so I added a little razzle dazzle.” The lights on the roof of his house spell out a slang term for America.

In his yard, there are also two signs adorned with lights. One says, “These lights didn’t hang themselves.” The other adds, “Neither did Epstein.”

The decorations are referencing a social media meme that rose to prominence after the death of Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in his cell at a jail in New York on August 10 of an apparent suicide. Based on the nature of Epstein’s crimes, his wealth and supposed connections, many people on the Internet have shown extreme skepticism of the official story. Franklin Graham Again Slams Christianity Today for Anti-Trump Stance; Christianity Today Attacks Trump a Second Time

By Breitbart. Christian evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham on Monday took to social media to once again blast Christianity Today for describing President Donald Trump as “profoundly immoral” in a recently released opinion-editorial. . .

On Thursday, one day after the House approved two articles of impeachment against President Trump, Christianity Today Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli wrote the president’s contacts with Ukraine were both unconstitutional and “profoundly immoral.”

“The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents,” Galli wrote. “That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”

Shortly after Galli’s piece was published, Graham revealed his father, Billy Graham, voted for then-candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election because he believed he was the best man to lead the United States.

“My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump,” Graham wrote in a Facebook post on Friday morning. “He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.” (Read more from “Franklin Graham Again Slams Christianity Today for Anti-Trump Stance” HERE)

Christianity Today Again Slams Trump, Raises Issue of ‘Unconditional Loyalty’

By Reuters. Christianity Today, the magazine founded by the late Reverend Billy Graham, renewed its criticism of President Donald Trump in a new editorial that cited his “misuses of power” and asked fellow Christians to examine their loyalty to him, days after a controversial editorial that called for his impeachment.

The 130,000-circulation magazine, which has 4.3 million monthly website viewers, in its editorial last week cited Trump’s “profoundly immoral” conduct in office, drawing immediate criticism from Trump and dozens of evangelical leaders.

Evangelicals have been a bedrock of support for the Republican president, and the magazine noted in its new editorial, published Sunday, that Trump “has done a lot of good for causes we all care about.”

But the magazine’s president, Timothy Dalrymple, wrote in the editorial, headlined “The Flag in the Whirlwind,” that evangelicals’ embrace of Trump means being tied to his “rampant immorality, greed, and corruption; his divisiveness and race-baiting; his cruelty and hostility to immigrants and refugees.”

“With profound love and respect,” Dalrymple said, “we ask our brothers and sisters in Christ to consider whether they have given to Caesar what belongs only to God: their unconditional loyalty.” (Read more from “Christianity Today Again Slams Trump, Raises Issue of ‘Unconditional Loyalty'” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate; Piers Morgan GOES OFF on ‘Dumb Celebrities’, Liberals; Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By The Blaze. British TV host Piers Morgan fired off a blistering op-ed in the Daily Mail on Thursday, condemning never-Trumpers for playing right into the Trump administration’s hands. . .

Morgan’s fiery article, titled, “It’s a Merry Impeachmas alright — but for President Trump, not the deluded Democrats, dumb liberal celebrities and shockingly-biased media who don’t understand that this will get him re-elected,” is lighting up the internet. . .

Morgan also took aim at liberal celebrities celebrating across social media with an unmatched glee — as if they actually understood what was happening.

“What are you clueless clowns all celebrating?” he wrote. “Are you just too dumb to see what’s actually happening here? Do you not understand it all ends in a big loss for Trump-haters and a big win for Trump?” . . .

“His base will fire up even more than they already are, the Democrat base will fire down in abject dismay, and all the momentum for the 2020 Election will swing behind the President,” he reasoned. “If the US economy continues to roar in the way it’s currently doing, with stock markets hitting record highs and unemployment numbers hitting record lows, then Trump will storm towards another win next November like an unstoppable King Kong.” (Read more from “Piers Morgan Says ‘Deluded Democrats, Dumb Liberal Celebrities, Shockingly-Biased Media’ Don’t Understand Impeachment Will Get Trump Re-Elected” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate

By Bloomberg. that the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump, what is the constitutional status of the two articles of impeachment? Must they be transmitted to the Senate to trigger a trial, or could they be held back by the House until the Senate decides what the trial will look like, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has hinted?

The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work.

But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.

If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all. (Read more from “Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate” HERE)

Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By National Review. Perhaps Donald Trump deserves to be impeached for his Ukrainian adventure. Heck, maybe he deserves to be impeached for sending that insanely entertaining letter yesterday. But those are political considerations for Democrats. Impeaching the president isn’t a Constitutional imperative. Nor is it a patriotic obligation. Democrats, who today ludicrously wrap themselves in the patina of “rule of law,” know this well. Not very long ago, they were rationalizing and cheerleading unprecedented abuses of power under the Obama administration. And they’ll be cheerleading for more abuses of the Constitution the next time they win the White House.

Nancy Pelosi can dress in black, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and act as if this impeachment is her solemn obligation, but everyone saw the Democratic party’s hysterical reaction to the 2016 election. Everyone saw dozens of candidates running in 2018 — either implicitly, but most often explicitly — on getting rid of the president. Just last week we learned that people within our intelligence agencies subverted the law to help Democrats concoct a three-year national panic meant to undermine the veracity of a fair election.

“The Republic is why we are here today. We are custodians of the Constitution. A Republic by the people for the people,” writes one Eric Swalwall, a man who once pondered the possibility of nuking Americans who demanded to practice their Second Amendment rights. Trump-era liberals had argued for the abolition of the Electoral College long before they were pretending to care about Ukrainian autonomy. Democrats were talking about stacking the Supreme Court long before any whistleblower showed up. If your contention is that the Constitution protects abortion on demand through the ninth month but are fine with undermining property rights, gun rights, religious freedom, and any meaningful separation of power, you’re not a custodian of the Constitution, you’re partisan with an agenda. So do what you must. But it’s been insufferable watching you playact sentinel of the American Republic — whose presumptions, institutions, documents, and Founders you don’t really seem to like very much. Amazon Rolls out Alexa App That Will Defuse Heightened Holiday Tensions

Amazon is hoping to take a bit of the sting out of the inevitable, inebriated political debate sure to happen around your holiday table with a new application, available through its Alexa home assistant.

Political action groups frequently charge their friends and fans with “converting” their families over the holidays and this year is no exception. The Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) campaign even mailed a “family persuasion guide” to thousands of students who expressed interest in canvassing for the Vermont Senator during the 2020 presidential campaign, in hopes that, this holiday, Bernie-acs across the country can disrupt the peace of Christmas to browbeat their loved ones into voting for Bernie in the early primaries.

To help tech-loving families keep from flat-out killing each other (something Alexa will also record, an unfortunate murder suspect in Florida learned to his detriment last year), Alexa will now suggest “fun debate questions” and issue “question prompts” so that you and your family can pick a less contentious subject than politics to disagree about. . .

The questions seem straight out of the 1990s Saturday Night Live “Coffee Talk” sketch: “Anything from ‘What’s your favorite animal, and why?’ to ‘Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?’ may be asked by Alexa. Other questions include ‘If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and why?’, ‘Do you have a celebrity crush? Who is it? And why?’ and ‘Pineapple on pizza was the greatest culinary development of the 20th century. Discuss…’” (Read more from “Amazon Rolls out Alexa App That Will Defuse Heightened Holiday Tensions” HERE)

Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison After Burning Pride Flag

By Associated Press. A man has been imprisoned for burning an LGBTQ flag that was flying at a church in central Iowa.

Adolfo Martinez, 30, of Ames, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years for the hate crime of arson and given a year for reckless use of explosives or fire and 30 days for harassment. The sentences are to be served consecutively, Story County court records said.

A jury convicted Martinez in November. He’d been arrested in June. At the time of his November conviction, KCCI reported that the “habitual offender” charge filed against Martinez called for a lengthier penalty. Hate crime charges also carry enhanced penalties. Man Says Burning Gay Flag was a ‘Blessing from the Lord’

By Chris Gothner. [Martinez] did make his motive clear when KCCI went to his house to ask him about the charges Wednesday.

“It’s my honor. It is written. It is a judgment and it’s written to execute vengeance on the heathen and punishments on the people,” Martinez said. “It’s my honor to do so. It was an honor to do that. It’s a blessing from the Lord.”

“So this was about homosexuality?” KCCI reporter Chris Gothner asked.

“Yes, yes, yes. Exactly,” Martinez replied. “I burned down their pride, plain and simple.”

Martinez said he had no regrets whatsoever and has no plans to fight the charges.

“No, I’m guilty as charged,” he said. (Read more about the gay pride flag burning case HERE)
