Mass Elephant Deaths: Anthrax, Poison Ruled out

Anthrax and poisoning have been ruled out as the cause of a rising number of unexplained elephant deaths in Botswana, the country with the world’s biggest population of the animals.

Wildlife authorities have now discovered 110 carcasses in north west Botswana, up from the 56 announced earlier in May according to a government statement.

“I would say 90% of the new cases we have found are old carcasses we previously did not locate,” said Dimakatso Ntshebe, a regional wildlife director, in an interview. “However, a few are indeed new deaths. All recovered carcasses do not show signs of poaching.” (Read more from “Mass Elephant Deaths: Anthrax, Poison Ruled out” HERE)

WATCH: Rioters Threaten Man They Kicked in the Head – ‘Do Not Protest Against Black Lives’; Unrest Emerges in Neighborhoods, Suburbs Beyond City Centers

By PJ Media. Portland’s Professional Protesters™ were out in force on Saturday night in a planned protest-turned-riot to “honor” George Floyd who died while in police custody last week in Minneapolis. In other words, it was a familiar scene in this Pacific Northwest City, where laid back Friday-at-4-drum circles have long since given way to antifa violence. . .

We come into the video after the victim of this horrific attack, who admitted taking a swing at a Black Lives Matter or antifa protester, was beaten in retaliation by protesters.

He was chased, knocked over and kicked in the head. He had at least one tooth kicked out of his head. The sound of the shoe hitting his skull is sickening.

Unrest Emerges in Neighborhoods, Suburbs Beyond City Centers

By AP News. As officials locked down city centers due to protests and violent unrest over police brutality, trouble has emerged in some neighborhoods and suburbs, leaving communities that felt insulated from the early unrest suddenly vulnerable and fearful.

Many city and suburban officials blamed most of the mayhem on opportunists rather than those protesting the killing of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who pleaded for air as a white Minneapolis police officer pressed a knee against his neck.

More than 100 people converged on an outdoor mall in Walnut Creek, a wealthy San Francisco suburb, carrying away garbage bags stuffed with merchandise. Video from news organizations and bystanders showed women hauling pricey purses out of stores. One woman was shot in the arm by someone in a vehicle that sped from the scene, police said. Fake Photo Circulated of ‘Dark’ White House Is Actually From 2015

Media outlets and Twitter users circulated a photo of the White House showing the lights darkened both inside and outside, allegedly from Sunday night during the riots.

Many are taking the darkened image of the White House as a dark symbol of present unrest, often placed on Twitter against a photo of the White House lit in rainbow lights under Obama.

There is just one problem: the photo was not from last Sunday. In fact, it was not from the Trump administration at all, but rather a stock photo from 2015. It was uploaded to Getty Images, a stock photo compilation site, in December of 2015, but has been passed off to be a photo taken during the rioting. The stock photo was edited further to increasingly darken the image for the greatest possible dramatic effect, and “manipulated to remove the lit lantern,” an AP Fact Check reports.

82nd Airborne Division Arrives to DC With Black Hawks and Chinooks

By Breitbart. An 82nd Airborne Division’s Immediate Response Force battalion arrived to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland Monday evening for a civil unrest mission in the nation’s capitol, according to sources.

The IRF battalion — which deployed to Iraq earlier this year to quell Iran-backed violence — brought approximately 750 soldiers, ten Black Hawk helicopters, and four Chinooks, according to sources. The helicopters are utility, not attack, and are used to transport troops short distances.

The aircraft are just one of the ways troops could be transported, but would give the IRF the ability to rapidly deploy to a number of locations in the D.C. Metro area quickly.

The force was ordered to the region on Monday afternoon, after being told to be ready on Saturday, sources told Breitbart News.

Two more IRF battalions have been put on short-notice alert status — meaning they would have to be ready to deploy within two hours if ordered. (Read more from “82nd Airborne Division Arrives to DC With Black Hawks and Chinooks” HERE)

Trump Sends Fort Bragg Troops to Quell DC Riots, Other States Say ‘No Thank You’

By WRAL. President Donald Trump sent Fort Bragg troops to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday to help quell violent George Floyd riots taking place there.

Several Democratic governors on Monday pushed back against Trump’s threat to deploy the U.S. military unless they dispatch National Guard units to “dominate the streets” in reaction to the violence that has erupted across the country.

“I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement officers to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism, assaults, and the wanton destruction of property,” Trump said. “If a city or a state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them.”

While many states told the president they did not need military presence, at least 200 active-duty police, many from Fort Bragg, are headed to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. Because D.C. has a unique status, the deployment can be authorized by federal officials rather than the city’s authorities. The Ethical Society of Police, which represents black officers in St. Louis, mourned Dorn as “the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to.”

Flowers and a teddy bear sat outside the shop next to a handwritten sign that read, “Y’all killed a black man because ‘they’ killed a black man??? Rest in peace.” (Read more from “Retired Police Captain Killed By Rioters While Protecting Business” HERE)

Expert: Coronavirus ‘No Longer Exists’

Dr. Alberto Zangrillo, the head of intensive care at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, told Italian media Sunday that Italy has beaten the coronavirus and it is counterproductive to keep attention focused on it.

Speaking on the RAI 3 television network, Dr. Zangrillo said that “the swabs performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load that was absolutely infinitesimal in quantitative terms compared to the ones carried out on patients a month or two ago.”

Professor Zangrillo was citing a new study by Massimo Clementi, director of the Microbiology and Virology Laboratory at the San Raffaele hospital, which is due to be published shortly. The Lombardy region, where the hospital is located, has been Italy’s hardest hit in terms of absolute numbers of those infected by the coronavirus as well as in fatalities.

The study shows that, “in reality, from the clinical point of view, the virus no longer exists,” Zangrillo said. (Read more from “Expert: Coronavirus ‘No Longer Exists’” HERE)

California Tried to Bail out Illegal Aliens – and It’s a Disaster

The Golden State is showing its brass with more unemployed people than the entire population of Alabama. So, California’s leaders decided that this was an urgent time to bail out illegal aliens.

California’s illegal alien population is its shadow economy and with many of the industries that employ them shut down, the Democrats who depend on ghost districts populated by illegals decided that something had to be urgently done to keep the illegal aliens from fleeing back across the border. . .

But the real train wreck was, as always, on the government side where Governor Newsom had decided to anonymously give away cash to illegals, first-come, first-served. What could possibly go wrong? . . .

Instead of illegal aliens having to file paperwork or show up at an office and present their undocumented passports, the giveaway was run through non-profits that help illegal aliens. Like a radio station contest, the illegal aliens had to call it to one of twelve non-profits to walk away with a grand.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles claimed that it got 630,000 calls in the first 90 minutes and over 1.1 million calls on the first day. Pew estimates that Los Angeles has around 1 million illegals. What are the odds that all of them would have phoned up one of the non-profits in one day? Congo Is Battling Coronavirus, Measles and a New Ebola Outbreak

Health officials have confirmed a second Ebola outbreak in Congo, the World Health Organization said Monday, adding yet another health crisis for a country already battling COVID-19 and the world’s largest measles outbreak.

Congo also has yet to declare an official end to Ebola in its troubled east, where at least 2,243 people have died since an epidemic began there in August 2018.

Now Congolese health authorities have identified six cases including four fatalities in the north near Mbandaka, WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. . .

This announcement marks the 11th time that Ebola has hit the province since the virus was first discovered in Congo in 1976. Just two years ago an outbreak killed 33 people before the disease was brought under control in a matter of months. . .

While Ebola and COVID-19 have drawn far more international attention, measles has killed more Congolese than those diseases combined. WHO said there have been 369,520 measles cases and 6,779 deaths since 2019. (Read more from “Congo Is Battling Coronavirus, Measles and a New Ebola Outbreak” HERE)

Report: Military Trucks Roll Onto Grounds Ahead of Curfew

The White House sent nonessential staffers home early on Monday, and troops were trucked onto the grounds ahead of the city’s 7 p.m. curfew as protests continue to rage in Washington, D.C., over the death of George Floyd.

Bloomberg reported that White House management told staff to clear out by 4 p.m., citing fears that ongoing protests outside the grounds could escalate to violence again as demonstrators have clashed with law enforcement over the weekend.

Reporter Jennifer Jacobs reported that the campus was “emptied out” and that two food spots were also closed early. CNN’s Jake Tapper noted that a source clarified to him that senior staff members would continue working.
