Rep. Massie: Kyle Rittenhouse ‘Exhibited Incredible Restraint’; Kyle Rittenhouse’s Attorney Resigns From Legal Fundraiser

By OANN. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has said he would not vote to convict Kyle Rittenhouse, who has been accused of killing two people in Kenosha. On Friday, he defended the 17-year-old’s actions.

Based on the footage, Massie claimed it was clearly self-defense. After seeing the evidence and social media footage, the lawmaker believes Rittenhouse was not acting out of malicious intent, but was fearful of his safety. . .

“He also exhibited incredible restraint and presence, a situational awareness. He didn’t empty a magazine into a crowd. There were people around him who could have caused him harm, but as soon as they showed any sign of retreat or non-aggression, he did not shoot them.” – Thomas Massie, U.S. Representative

Kyle Rittenhouse’s Attorney Resigns From Legal Fundraiser After Dodgy Financial Past Revealed

By USA Today. The lead attorney representing accused Kenosha, Wisconsin, gunman Kyle Rittenhouse said he resigned his position with a defense fund expected to benefit his 17-year-old client out of concern for the lawyer’s troubled financial history.

Attorney John Pierce said Friday that he made the move earlier this week to avoid any “appearance of conflict” related to a series of legal disputes in which Pierce and his firm have been accused of defaulting on millions of dollars in obligations to the firm’s financiers, according to court documents.

Pierce, who has repeatedly promoted the #FightBack Foundation fund on Twitter, has vowed to assemble a “Seal Team” of former prosecutors and defenders to assist his client, accused in last week’s shooting that left two dead and another wounded during a night of demonstrations following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. . .

So far, donors have poured more than $700,000 into the fund, founded prior to the shooting with a broader mission to “bring lawsuits to stop the left’s lies.” Pierce and Lin Wood — an attorney who first won notoriety representing Richard Jewell, falsely accused in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic bombing — are founding members of the foundation. #FightBack Foundation Inc. was incorporated in Texas effective Aug. 12, according to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Wealthy NYC Woman Busted in BLM Rampage (VIDEO)

One of the Black Lives Matter protesters now facing felony rioting and misdemeanor graffiti charges — after a window-smashing free-for-all in Manhattan — is a wealthy Upper East Sider whose mother is an architect and whose father is a child psychiatrist.

Clara Kraebber, 20, is one of eight people arrested Friday night after a roiling, three-hour rampage that police say caused at least $100,000 in damage from Foley Square up to 24th Street.

“Every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground!” the group chanted as it moved up Lafayette Street while busting the plate glass facades of banks, Starbucks and Duane-Reades.

The protest was organized by groups calling themselves the “New Afrikan Black Panther Party” and the “Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement.”

Given her privileged upbringing, Kraebber might seem an unlikely alleged revolutionary in those ranks.

WATCH: Biden Adviser’s Pathetic Response to Staffers Backing Bail Fund for ‘Protestors’

Since the death of George Floyd back in May, the Biden campaign has stood alongside Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters. Instead of condemning their actions – particularly the looting, fires and demolishing of small businesses – Biden’s team decided to defend them, saying that they’re “peaceful protestors.” Some staffers even went so far as to donate to a fund to bail the “protestors” out of jail.

Symone Sanders, a Senior Adviser to the Biden-Harris campaign, doubled down on the “peaceful protestors” point of view during an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Sunday.

Baier asked if roughly a dozen campaign staffers regretted donating to a bail fund for “protestors,” especially after one of the offenders was rearrested for a “serious crime.” Of course, Sanders couldn’t answer the question.

“Bret, it was not and has not been our campaign position of bailing anyone out, so I’m unsure specifically what you’re speaking to,” she replied.

The host reminded Sanders that Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) previously encouraged Americans to donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, the bail fund for so-called protestors.

WATCH: Kamala Reveals How She Feels About the Coronavirus Vaccine

President Donald Trump and his administration have been focusing on Operation Warp Speed, a goal of delivering 300 million doses of a safe and effective vaccine for the Wuhan coronavirus. The goal is to have the vaccine available to the public by January of 2021. It has been said that the vaccine could become available as early as October. Despite the rapid development, manufacturing and testing, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) refused to say whether or not she would get the vaccine.

“Do you trust that the situation we’re in now that the public health experts and scientists will, on the efficacy of the vaccine?” CNN’s Bash asked the senator on Saturday.

“It’s past its prologue that they will not. They will be muzzled. They’ll be suppressed. They’ll be sidelined because [President Donald Trump] is looking at an election coming up in less than 60 days and he’s grasping for whatever he can get to pretend he’s been a leader on this issue when he’s not,” Harris explained.

“So, let’s just say there’s a vaccine that is approved and even distributed before the election. Would you get it?” the host asked. . .

“Well, I think that’s going to be an issue for all of us. I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump,” she said with a smile. “And it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about.”

Nearly 700 U.S. Veterans Issue Open Letter in Support of President Trump; Trump Speculates On Source Of Story Claiming He Nixed Visit to Military Cemetery Over Disdain for Slain Veterans

By Breitbart. Nearly 700 American veterans have issued an open letter affirming their support of President Trump against establishment media attacks weeks before the 2020 presidential election. . .

In an open letter obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, about 674 veterans wrote that their support for Trump, against attacks by the establishment media, remains unwavering because of his record of supporting the United States military and ending foreign wars.

“Recent baseless media attacks against President Trump from anonymous sources are just another example of the depths to which the President’s opponents are willing to descend to divide the nation and meddle in this election,” the veterans write.

“Anyone who knows President Trump has seen his love and reverence for our military and veterans. That is why we, veterans from every generation, are writing today to reaffirm our support for President Trump,” they continue:

We heard these same attacks in 2018 immediately following the President’s trip to Paris, and they are just as fake now as they were then. The false allegations center on the President’s canceled trip to a military cemetery, which has been proven to be a “bad weather call” made for safety and security reasons. This has been proven by internal White House emails from the time, as well as by documents from the U.S. Navy, which clearly described weather as the reason for the cancellation. While the media relied on four anonymous individuals to manufacture the story, many more current and former White House officials have stepped forward and, on the record, refuted these baseless allegations. These on-the-record voices include the Secret Service agent in charge of the President’s detail and John Bolton – a vocal critic of the President – who described the “bad weather call” in his book and now says he did not hear the President say the things being attributed to him. No one should take this story seriously.

Donald Trump Speculates That John Kelly May Have Been Source Of Stunning Story In The Atlantic

By Deadline. The Atlantic’s bombshell story that Donald Trump made disparaging comments about American soldiers triggered a day-long guessing game and debate over the piece’s anonymous sources.

Trump himself joined in, telling reporters that “it could have been a guy like” his former chief of staff, John Kelly, even as the White House spent much of the day attacking The Atlantic and insisting that its story was false. As if to forestall the damage should someone like Kelly go public, Trump took the opportunity to also disparage his former employee, a retired four star general. “He was unable to handle the pressure of this job,” Trump said. Sources Dispute Claim Trump Nixed Visit to Military Cemetery Over Disdain for Slain Veterans, but Back up Parts of Atlantic Report

By Fox News. President Trump canceled a planned 2018 trip to a cemetery for American war dead in France because of the weather and not because of disdain for the slain soldiers who are buried there or concern about how the weather would affect his hair, two sources told Fox News, despite a report from The Atlantic making that claim.

Still, the details from that trip and other events described in the explosive piece remain a subject of dispute.

Two sources who were on the trip in question with Trump refuted the main thesis of The Atlantic’s reporting — that Trump canceled a trip to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, which is at the site of Belleau Wood, an important World War I battle, because he believed the dead soldiers to be “losers.”

The White House had said at the time the decision was made because of poor weather for flying Marine One and the fact that the cemetery was too far a distance for a motorcade to drive.

One of the sources who refuted the Atlantic’s reporting is not a fan of Trump. Both sources said that Trump was upset about not being able to go to Aisne-Marne and said they had never heard Trump refer to war dead at Aisne-Marne or in the battle of Bellau Wood as “losers” or “suckers.”

Trump DOJ to File Antitrust Lawsuit Against Google Within Weeks: Report

The Justice Department will reportedly file antitrust charges against Google later this month focused on how it has used its search dominance in the online advertising business.

Attorney General William Barr is planning to bring the case against the tech behemoth earlier than expected, the New York Times reported Thursday, citing career DOJ lawyers, in order to allow the Trump administration to take credit for the action. Most of the approximately 40 Justice Department lawyers working on the Google investigation opposed ending their work by the end of September but were overruled by Barr.

The Justice Department and some state attorneys general have been investigating Google over the past year or so, focused on the anti-competitive conduct in Google’s online advertising business fueled by its dominance in the search engine sphere, connecting online publishers and advertisers to hundreds of millions of users. Deceased Woman Receives Letter Claiming She’s COVID-19 Positive; Vitamin D3 Mixed With Hydroxychloroquine Shows Promise in Treating Coronavirus

By WKYC. A Shelby County man questions what is going on at the Shelby County Health Department.

His mother died six months ago, but the health department just sent her a letter saying she is COVID-19 positive.

Troy Whittington said he was surprised when he opened the letter this week from the Shelby County Health Department. He knew what was in that letter was false. . .

Whittington said a letter arrived from the Shelby County Health Department for his mother, Sandra Whittington. The letter says she has been diagnosed as COVID positive and needed to isolate.

That would be difficult, according to her obituary: the 66-year-old died February 16th. That was weeks before the first case of COVID-19 was detected in Shelby County. (Read more from “Deceased Woman Receives Letter Claiming She’s COVID-19 Positive” HERE)

Vitamin D3 Mixed With Hydroxychloroquine Shows Promise in Treating COVID-19: Study

By Washington Examiner. A new study finds that COVID-19 patients with acute respiratory infections may improve with a regimen of Vitamin D3, hydroxychloroquine, and azithromycin.

The study was published in the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and employed a randomized controlled trial, considered the gold standard in medical research, on patients who had COVID-19-related pneumonia in a hospital in Spain. All patients were given hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, and one group was given Vitamin D3 (calcifediol) while the other group was not. Hydroxychloroquine is an “ionophore” that can transport particular molecules across a cell membrane, while azithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat lung infections.

Of the 50 patients treated with Vitamin D3, only two were admitted to an intensive care unit. Of the 26 patients who did not receive Vitamin D3, 13 were admitted to the ICU, and two died. (Read more from “Vitamin D3 Mixed With Hydroxychloroquine Shows Promise in Treating COVID-19: Study” HERE)

WATCH: Trump Slams Reporters for Treating Joe Biden Like a Child

President Trump took issue with reporters on Friday for treating Joe Biden like a child. Matt and Ellie wrote earlier about the softball questions that reporters teed up for the Democratic presidential nominee. There’s no excuse for the media’s childlike treatment of Joe Biden. Reporters should have their best questions saved up since the former VP has largely avoided the press all year long.

Like a child, Biden appears to be unable to call on reporters himself. The candidate that struggles to read a teleprompter relies on staff members to call on reporters using an approved list to decide which vetted reporter may ask a question. There’s no telling how much the Biden campaign vets the questions beforehand, but the campaign would be hard-pressed to come up with more self-serving questions themselves. . .

Trump, who gets nothing but hostile questions from the liberal media all day long and still calls on reporters who think they are in a presidential debate, grilled reporters at the White House on Friday for continuing to treat Biden like a child.

“Read the questions you asked,” Trump said. “Those questions were meant for a child. Smiles on faces of reporters, not like you and you” the president said, pointing to miserable reporters.

“Take a look at those questions that they ask him. They were not meant for a grown-up. They were meant for a child,” said the president.
