WATCH: Mother Arrested and Tased for Not Wearing Mask at Son’s Middle School Football Game Held Outside

A woman was tased and arrested at a football game after she reportedly refused to wear a face mask. Unbelievable video shows a mother in the stands during her son’s middle school football game getting into a physical altercation as a police officer struggles to arrest her in Logan, Ohio.

According to the Ohio Star, Alecia Kitts drove an hour and a half to watch her son’s middle school football game. While she was rooting for the visiting team from the Marietta City School District, she was reportedly approached by a police officer for not wearing a face mask. In the video, Kitts appears to be properly socially distancing from other families in the stands, which is outside.

The encounter gets physical as the police officer attempts to arrest the mother, and she resists. The woman repeatedly tells the officer to “get off of me!”

She screams, “You’re not arresting me for nothing, I ain’t doing nothing wrong!”

After two minutes of struggle, the police officer is seen tasing the woman.

Trump Announces ‘America First’ Health Care Plan

President Donald Trump on Thursday evening signed a series of executive orders which he said constituted part of a long-promised health care plan.

Speaking before a crowd in Charlotte, N.C., Trump said that his plan would would offer “better care, with more choice, at a much lower cost, and working to ensure that Americans have access to the care they need.” He detailed a set of concrete policy goals: affordable insurance, cutting prescription drug costs, ending surprise billing, increasing price transparency, and protecting patients with preexisting conditions.

How the administration will achieve those goals, however, remains unclear. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar told reporters earlier in the day that the orders would make it the “policy of the United States” that individuals will not be denied insurance coverage on the basis of preexisting conditions, and calls on Congress to produce legislation to that effect. Absent such legislation, Azar would be required to investigate regulatory alternatives—although what those would be remains undefined.

Text of an Executive Order released Thursday evening is similarly light on details. The order establishes preexisting condition coverage as official policy of the United States, alongside “more choice, lower costs, and better care.” It instructs the secretaries of the Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services to find ways to pursue these goals, including calling on Congress to end surprise billing. The order’s sole concrete action requires Azar to add information about hospital billing quality to Medicare.gov’s Hospital Compare service. White House: Trump Will Accept Results of a ‘Free and Fair’ Election

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany sought to allay concerns that President Trump may not cede power if he loses on Election Day, telling reporters that he would accept the results of an election that is “free and fair.”

“The president will accept the results of a free and fair election,” McEnany said during a White House news briefing Thursday. “He will accept the will of the American people.”

Concerns that the president would challenge the results of the election were ignited on Wednesday when Trump would not “commit” to a “peaceful transfer of power,” declining to answer a reporter’s question clearly during a White House news conference.

Trump pointed instead to mail-in ballots, which he has argued are susceptible to fraud and predicted the election would be decided by the Supreme Court.

For this reason, he said, filling the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat before the election is important. (Read more from “White House: Trump Will Accept Results of a ‘Free and Fair’ Election” HERE)

Judge Allows Andrew McCabe’s Wrongful Firing Lawsuit Against DOJ to Move Forward

A federal judge ruled fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s wrongful termination lawsuit against the Justice Department should be allowed to move toward discovery, rejecting the Trump administration’s efforts to dismiss the case brought by the key Russia investigation leader.

Judge Randolph Moss, who has served on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia since a 2014 nomination by then-President Barack Obama, issued a 45-page ruling on Thursday rejecting the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss McCabe’s lawsuit and moving it toward summary judgment. Moss argued that it was too soon to decide whether the government or McCabe was right, and therefore, the case should proceed for now.

“The Complaint asserts five claims based on alleged violations of the First Amendment and the due process clause of the Fifth Amendment,” Moss wrote. “Defendants move to dismiss, in part, for lack of subject matter jurisdiction and, in part, for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted and move, in the alternative, for summary judgment, in part. In Defendants’ view, the Court lacks jurisdiction over Plaintiffs’ statutory and regulatory claims, while his constitutional claims fail on both the law and the facts. Most significantly, Defendants contend that Plaintiff was not fired because of his perceived political affiliation, vote in the 2016 presidential election, or refusal to pledge personal loyalty to the President but because he lacked candor (including under oath) in an investigation conducted by the FBI’s Inspection Division and the DOJ’s Office of Inspector General.”

Moss added: “In short, it is too early in the case to determine which, if either, of the parties’ competing versions of the relevant facts is correct. The Court will, accordingly, DENY Defendants’ motion and will set a schedule for discovery and further proceedings.” (Read more from “Judge Allows Andrew McCabe’s Wrongful Firing Lawsuit Against DOJ to Move Forward” HERE)

Mike Pompeo Warns U.S. Politicians to Be Alert to Chinese ‘Influence and Espionage’

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday (Sept 23) warned US politicians at the state and local level to be vigilant around Chinese diplomats who he said could be trying to woo them as part of Beijing’s propaganda and espionage campaign.

Speaking in the Wisconsin state capitol, Pompeo said the State Department was reviewing the activities of the US-China Friendship Association and the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification over suspicions they are trying to influence US schools, business groups and local politicians.

The two groups are linked to China’s United Front Work Department, an organ of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee, he said.

“Know that when you are approached by a Chinese diplomat, it is likely not in the spirit of cooperation or friendship,” Pompeo said, warning of the Chinese Communist Party’s “influence and espionage campaigns” even at the municipal level.

“The federal government can’t police every bit of this predatory and coercive behaviour. We need your help… Protecting American interests requires vigilance, vigilance that starts with you – and all state legislators, regardless of party,” he said. Predicted Mass Infections From Reopening Schools Fails to Materialize

Last month, we were inundated with stories from teachers’ unions, school administrators, and public health officials about the coming catastrophic outbreak of coronavirus in the schools. . .

It still might get very bad as large school districts begin to reopen, but so far, the number of infections among K-12 students has been far less than public health officials feared.

Washington Post:

Thousands of students and teachers have become sick with the coronavirus since schools began opening last month, but public health experts have found little evidence that the virus is spreading inside buildings, and the rates of infection are far below what is found in the surrounding communities.

This early evidence, experts say, suggests that opening schools may not be as risky as many have feared and could guide administrators as they charter the rest of what is already an unprecedented school year.

“Everyone had a fear there would be explosive outbreaks of transmission in the schools. In colleges, there have been. We have to say that, to date, we have not seen those in the younger kids, and that is a really important observation,” said Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.

Andrew Cuomo Says He Won’t Accept the FDA’s Approval of a Coronavirus Vaccine

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), who takes zero responsibility for packing nursing homes with coronavirus-infected patients, says he doesn’t trust the federal government when it comes to a vaccine for the Wuhan coronavirus.

“Frankly, I’m not going to trust the federal government’s opinion, and I wouldn’t recommend to New Yorkers, based on the federal government’s opinion,” Cuomo told reporters on Thursday about the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) potential approval of a coronavirus vaccine.

“New York State will have its own review when the federal government is finished with their review and says it’s safe,” vowed the governor.

Of course, New York officials don’t play any role when it comes to approving vaccines for any kind of drug or treatment, as The New York Times points out.

The Trump administration has been working with drugmakers to fast-track the development and approval of a vaccine for the coronavirus. The administration has given $200 million to all 50 states in an effort to distribute a lifesaving vaccine as soon as one receives emergency-use authorization from the FDA. Several Arrests Made, Felonies Charged in Vote Harvesting Scheme

While the Democrats continue to stick to their narrative that incidents of ballot harvesting and rampant voter fraud are just a bogeyman conjured up by Republicans to disenfranchise people (or something), more evidence continues to prove just how wrong they are. In Texas, four people have been arrested in a ballot harvesting scheme, including a Gregg County commissioner.

That commissioner, Shannon Brown, 49, was arrested along with Marlena Jackson, 50, Charlie Burns, 84, and DeWayne Ward, 58, according to the Longview News-Journal. Brown alone was charged with 23 felonies including fraudulent use of mail ballot application, tampering with a governmental record with intent to harm or defraud, and good ole election fraud.

The elderly member of the crime group, Burns, was charged with eight felonies. Brown racked up six felony charges, but Jackson took the cake with 97 felony charges of organized election fraud and illegal voting.

The charges stem from activity during the 2018 Democratic primary in Texas when Brown won his contest against former Longview City Councilwoman Kasha Williams by just five votes. His victory was secured only after a tie was broken by counting provisional ballots, giving him the five-vote advantage. A recount confirmed his win. Williams challenged the results with a lawsuit.

Gregg County Elections Administrator Kathryn Nealy raised suspicions about the election saying that, for years, a disproportionate number of mail-in ballots came into the South Longview voting precinct. Things got stranger still when more than 230 mailed in ballots bore the signature of just five different people who claimed to have assisted the person casting the ballot. Senate Committees Release Report on Hunter Biden’s ‘Complex Financial Transactions’ With Ukrainian Firm; Senate Report Accuses Hunter Biden of Paying for Hookers Who May Have Been Trafficked (VIDEO)

By Fox News. The Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees on Wednesday released an interim report on their monthslong joint investigation into Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings and his alleged “extensive and complex financial transactions.”

Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said their investigation has “faced many obstacles” from Democrats on their committees and that executive agencies “failed to comply with document requests.”

The chairmen added that “there remains much work to be done” in their probe. Hunter Biden is the son of the Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. His work background played a starring role in the Trump impeachment efforts earlier this year. He and his father have denied any wrongdoing related to his work.

The 87-page report stated that Obama administration officials “knew” that Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma was “problematic” and that it interfered “in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine.”

“This investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch,” the report’s executive summary stated. Senate Report Accuses Hunter Biden of Paying for Hookers Who May Have Been Trafficked

By The Federalist. An earthshattering report released by Senate investigators Wednesday outlining the Biden family’s long list of conflicts of interest at the upper echelons of government unearthed new allegations of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son making multiple payments to Eastern European prostitutes.

According to the joint report out by the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee with the Senate Treasury Committee, Hunter Biden made a number of payments to foreign nationals with “questionable backgrounds” consistent with “organized prostitution and/or human trafficking.”

Records on file with the committee, the report says, “confirm that Hunter Biden sent thousands of dollars to individuals who have either: 1) been involved in transactions consistent with possible human trafficking; 2) an association with the adult entertainment industry; or 3) potential association with prostitution.”

The report continued, detailing that some transactions were Russian- and Ukrainian-linked to what “appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”

This is not the first time Hunter Biden’s infidelity has promised headaches for his father’s 2020 presidential campaign. (Read more from “Senate Report Accuses Hunter Biden of Paying for Hookers Who May Have Been Trafficked” HERE)

Senators Probe Netflix Partnership With Chinese Genocide Denier

Republican senators are demanding Netflix explain its decision to adapt a Chinese science fiction trilogy written by a Xinjiang genocide denier into an original series.

The senators, including Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) and Rick Scott (Fla.), are marshaling support against the streaming giant’s plan to adapt Chinese author Liu Cixin’s bestselling Three-Body Problem trilogy into a live-action series. Cixin defended his government’s brutal suppression of Muslim Uighurs in a 2019 interview with the New Yorker.

“The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is committing atrocities in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region (XUAR),” the legislators wrote. “Sadly, a number of U.S. companies continue to either actively or tacitly allow the normalization of, or apologism for, these crimes. The decision to produce an adaptation of Mr. Liu’s work can be viewed as such normalization.”

Bela Bajaria, a Joe Biden campaign megadonor who gave as much as $500,000 to a group affiliated with the candidate, was in charge of “international content” when Netflix ordered the series. She now oversees all of Netflix’s original series across the world, according to the Wall Street Journal. Netflix, which did not return a request for comment, previously told the Washington Free Beacon that she “works on the series side of the business.”

Netflix’s collaboration with Liu reflects Hollywood’s willingness to cater to the massive Chinese market, even if it means turning a blind eye to the country’s human rights abuses. Disney’s recent live-action remake of Mulan even thanked Xinjiang authorities—some of them directly implicated in the Uighur crackdown—in its closing credit. Hollywood studios also routinely avoid topics that might anger Chinese censors, going so far as to change movie villains’ nationalities from Chinese to North Korean.
